1The sons of Judah; Pharez, Hezron, and Carmi, and Hur, and Shobal.

2And Reaiah the son of Shobal begat Jahath; and Jahath begat Ahumai, and Lahad. These are the families of the Zorathites.

3And these were of the father of Etam; Jezreel, and Ishma, and Idbash: and the name of their sister was Hazelelponi:
3Και ουτοι ησαν οι υιοι του πατρος Ηταμ· Ιεζραελ και Ιεσμα και Ιεδβας· και το ονομα της αδελφης αυτων Ασελ-ελφονι·
4And Penuel the father of Gedor, and Ezer the father of Hushah. These are the sons of Hur, the firstborn of Ephratah, the father of Bethlehem.
4και Φανουηλ ο πατηρ Γεδωρ, και Εσερ ο πατηρ Χουσα. Ουτοι ειναι οι υιοι του Ωρ, πρωτοτοκου Εφραθα, πατρος Βηθλεεμ.
5And Ashur the father of Tekoa had two wives, Helah and Naarah.
5Και Ασχωρ ο πατηρ Θεκουε ειχε δυο γυναικας, Ελα και Νααρα.
6And Naarah bare him Ahuzam, and Hepher, and Temeni, and Haahashtari. These were the sons of Naarah.
6Και η μεν Νααρα εγεννησεν εις αυτον τον Αχουζαμ και τον Εφερ και τον Θαιμανι και τον Αχασταρι. Ουτοι ησαν οι υιοι της Νααρα.
7And the sons of Helah were, Zereth, and Jezoar, and Ethnan.
7Οι δε υιοι της Ελα, Σερεθ και Ιεσοαρ και Εθναν.
8And Coz begat Anub, and Zobebah, and the families of Aharhel the son of Harum.
8Και ο Κως εγεννησε τον Ανουβ και τον Σωβηβα, και τας συγγενειας του Αχαρηλ, υιου του Αρουμ.
9And Jabez was more honorable than his brethren: and his mother called his name Jabez, saying, Because I bare him with sorrow.
9Και ο Ιαβης ητο ενδοξοτερος παρα τους αδελφους αυτου· και η μητηρ αυτου εκαλεσε το ονομα αυτου Ιαβης, λεγουσα, Επειδη εγεννησα αυτον εν λυπη.
10And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me! And God granted him that which he requested.
10Και επεκαλεσθη ο Ιαβης τον Θεον του Ισραηλ, λεγων, Ειθε μετ' ευλογιας να με ευλογησης και να εκτεινης τα ορια μου, και η χειρ σου να ηναι μετ' εμου και να με φυλαττης απο κακου, ωστε να μη εχω λυπην. Και εχαρισεν ο Θεος εις αυτον οσα εζητησε.
11And Chelub the brother of Shuah begat Mehir, which was the father of Eshton.
11[] Και ο Χελουβ, αδελφος του Σουα, εγεννησε τον Μεχειρ· ουτος ητο πατηρ του Εσθων.
12And Eshton begat Bethrapha, and Paseah, and Tehinnah the father of Irnahash. These are the men of Rechah.

13And the sons of Kenaz; Othniel, and Seraiah: and the sons of Othniel; Hathath.

14And Meonothai begat Ophrah: and Seraiah begat Joab, the father of the valley of Charashim; for they were craftsmen.
14Και ο Μεονοθαι εγεννησε τον Οφρα· και ο Σεραιας εγεννησε τον Ιωαβ, πατερα της κοιλαδος των τεκτονων· διοτι ησαν τεκτονες.
15And the sons of Caleb the son of Jephunneh; Iru, Elah, and Naam: and the sons of Elah, even Kenaz.
15Και οι υιοι του Χαλεβ, υιου του Ιεφοννη, Ιρου, Ηλα και Νααμ· και οι υιοι του Ηλα, Κενεζ.
16And the sons of Jehaleleel; Ziph, and Ziphah, Tiria, and Asareel.
16Και οι υιοι του Ιαλελεηλ, Ζιφ και Ζιφα, Θηρια και Ασαρεηλ.
17And the sons of Ezra were, Jether, and Mered, and Epher, and Jalon: and she bare Miriam, and Shammai, and Ishbah the father of Eshtemoa.
17Και οι υιοι του Εζρα, Ιεθερ και Μερεδ και Εφερ και Ιαλων· και η γυνη του Μερεδ εγεννησε τον Μαριαμ και τον Σαμμαι και τον Ιεσβα τον πατερα Εσθεμωα.
18And his wife Jehudijah bare Jered the father of Gedor, and Heber the father of Socho, and Jekuthiel the father of Zanoah. And these are the sons of Bithiah the daughter of Pharaoh, which Mered took.

19And the sons of his wife Hodiah the sister of Naham, the father of Keilah the Garmite, and Eshtemoa the Maachathite.
19Και οι υιοι της γυναικος αυτου της Οδιας, αδελφης του Ναχαμ, πατρος Κεειλα του Γαρμιτου και Εσθεμωα του Μααχαθιτου.
20And the sons of Shimon were, Amnon, and Rinnah, Benhanan, and Tilon. And the sons of Ishi were, Zoheth, and Benzoheth.
20Και οι υιοι του Σιμων ησαν Αμνων και Ριννα, Βεν-αναν και Θιλων. Και οι υιοι του Ιεσει, Ζωχεθ και Βεν-ζωχεθ.
21The sons of Shelah the son of Judah were, Er the father of Lecah, and Laadah the father of Mareshah, and the families of the house of them that wrought fine linen, of the house of Ashbea,
21Οι υιοι του Σηλα, υιου του Ιουδα, ησαν Ηρ ο πατηρ Ληχα και Λααδα ο πατηρ Μαρησα, και αι συγγενειαι του οικου των εργαζομενων την βυσσον, του οικου του Ασβεα,
22And Jokim, and the men of Chozeba, and Joash, and Saraph, who had the dominion in Moab, and Jashubilehem. And these are ancient things.
22και ο Ιωκειμ και οι ανδρες Χαζηβα και ο Ιωας και ο Σαραφ, οιτινες εδεσποζον εν Μωαβ, και ο Ιασουβι-λεχεμ. Πλην ταυτα ειναι αρχαια πραγματα.
23These were the potters, and those that dwelt among plants and hedges: there they dwelt with the king for his work.
23Ουτοι ησαν οι κεραμεις και οι κατοικουντες εν Νεταιμ και Γεδιρα· εκει κατωκουν μετα του βασιλεως δια τας εργασιας αυτου.
24The sons of Simeon were, Nemuel, and Jamin, Jarib, Zerah, and Shaul:
24[] Οι υιοι του Συμεων ησαν Νεμουηλ και Ιαμειν, Ιαρειβ, Ζερα και Σαουλ·
25Shallum his son, Mibsam his son, Mishma his son.
25Σαλλουμ υιος τουτου, Μιβσαμ υιος τουτου, Μισμα υιος τουτου.
26And the sons of Mishma; Hamuel his son, Zacchur his son, Shimei his son.
26Και οι υιοι του Μισμα, Αμουηλ ο υιος αυτου, Ζακχουρ υιος τουτου, Σιμει υιος τουτου.
27And Shimei had sixteen sons and six daughters: but his brethren had not many children, neither did all their family multiply, like to the children of Judah.
27Και ο Σιμει εγεννησε δεκαεξ υιους και εξ θυγατερας· οι αδελφοι αυτου ομως δεν ειχον υιους πολλους, ουδε επληθυνθησαν πασαι αι συγγενειαι αυτων, καθως των υιων του Ιουδα.
28And they dwelt at Beersheba, and Moladah, and Hazarshual,
28Και κατωκησαν εν Βηρ-σαβεε και Μωλαδα και Ασαρ-σουαλ,
29And at Bilhah, and at Ezem, and at Tolad,
29και εν Βαλλα και εν Ασεμ και εν Θωλαδ
30And at Bethuel, and at Hormah, and at Ziklag,
30και εν Βαιθουηλ και εν Ορμα και εν Σικλαγ
31And at Bethmarcaboth, and Hazarsusim, and at Bethbirei, and at Shaaraim. These were their cities unto the reign of David.
31και εν Βαιθ-μαρχαβωθ και εν Ασαρ-σουσιμ και εν Βαιθ-βηρει και εν Σααραειμ· Αυται ησαν αι πολεις αυτων εως της βασιλειας του Δαβιδ.
32And their villages were, Etam, and Ain, Rimmon, and Tochen, and Ashan, five cities:
32Και αι κωμαι αυτων ησαν, Ηταμ και Αειν, Ριμμων και Θοχεν και Ασαν, πεντε πολεις·
33And all their villages that were round about the same cities, unto Baal. These were their habitations, and their genealogy.
33και πασαι αι κωμαι αυτων αι περιξ τουτων των πολεων, μεχρι Βααλ. Αυται ησαν αι κατοικησεις αυτων και η κατα γενεας διαιρεσις αυτων.
34And Meshobab, and Jamlech, and Joshah, the son of Amaziah,
34Και Μεσωβαβ και Ιαμληχ και Ιωσα ο υιος του Αμασια,
35And Joel, and Jehu the son of Josibiah, the son of Seraiah, the son of Asiel,
35και Ιωηλ και Ιηου ο υιος του Ιωσιβια, υιου του Σεραια, υιου του Ασιηλ,
36And Elioenai, and Jaakobah, and Jeshohaiah, and Asaiah, and Adiel, and Jesimiel, and Benaiah,
36και Ελιωηναι και Ιαακωβα και Ιεσοχαιας και Ασαιας και Αδιηλ και Ιεσιμιηλ και Βεναιας
37And Ziza the son of Shiphi, the son of Allon, the son of Jedaiah, the son of Shimri, the son of Shemaiah;
37και Ζιζα ο υιος του Σιφει, υιου του Αλλον, υιου του Ιεδαια, υιου του Σιμρι, υιου του Σεμαια·
38These mentioned by their names were princes in their families: and the house of their fathers increased greatly.
38ουτοι οι κατ' ονομα μνημονευθεντες ησαν αρχοντες εις τας συγγενειας αυτων· και ο οικος των πατερων αυτων ηυξηθη εις πληθος.
39And they went to the entrance of Gedor, even unto the east side of the valley, to seek pasture for their flocks.
39Και υπηγαν εως της εισοδου Γεδωρ, προς ανατολας της κοιλαδος, δια να ζητησωσι βοσκην εις τα ποιμνια αυτων·
40And they found fat pasture and good, and the land was wide, and quiet, and peaceable; for they of Ham had dwelt there of old.
40και ευρηκαν βοσκην παχειαν και καλην, και η γη ητο ευρυχωρος και ησυχος και ειρηνικη· διοτι οι προτερον κατοικουντες εκει ησαν εκ του Χαμ.
41And these written by name came in the days of Hezekiah king of Judah, and smote their tents, and the habitations that were found there, and destroyed them utterly unto this day, and dwelt in their rooms: because there was pasture there for their flocks.
41Και ουτοι οι γεγραμμενοι κατ' ονομα ηλθον εν ταις ημεραις Εζεκιου του βασιλεως Ιουδα, και επαταξαν τας σκηνας αυτων και τους εκει ευρεθεντας Μιναιους, και ηφανισαν αυτους εως της ημερας ταυτης, και κατωκησαν αντ' αυτων· διοτι ητο εκει βοσκη δια τα ποιμνια αυτων.
42And some of them, even of the sons of Simeon, five hundred men, went to mount Seir, having for their captains Pelatiah, and Neariah, and Rephaiah, and Uzziel, the sons of Ishi.
42Και εξ αυτων, εκ των υιων του Συμεων, πεντακοσιοι ανδρες υπηγαν εις το ορος Σηειρ, εχοντες επι κεφαλης αυτων τον Φελατιαν και Νεαριαν και Ρεφαιαν και Οζιηλ, υιους του Ιεσει·
43And they smote the rest of the Amalekites that were escaped, and dwelt there unto this day.
43και επαταξαν το υπολοιπον των Αμαληκιτων το διασωθεν, και κατωκησαν εκει εως της ημερας ταυτης.
