¹Then he brought me forth into the utter court, the way toward the north: and he brought me into the chamber that was over against the separate place, and which was before the building toward the north.

¹[] Και με εξηγαγεν εις την αυλην την εξωτεραν κατα την οδον την προς βορραν· και με εφερεν εις τον θαλαμον τον απεναντι του κεχωρισμενου μερους κατα τον κατα προσωπον της οικοδομης, προς βορραν.

²Before the length of an hundred cubits was the north door, and the breadth was fifty cubits.

²κατα προσωπον του μηκους, το οποιον ητο εκατον πηχων, ητο η βορειος θυρα, το δε πλατος πεντηκοντα πηχων.

³Over against the twenty cubits which were for the inner court, and over against the pavement which was for the utter court, was gallery against gallery in three stories.

³Απεναντι των εικοσι πηχων, αιτινες ησαν δια την εσωτεραν αυλην, και απεναντι του λιθοστρωτου του δια την εξωτεραν αυλην, ητο στοα αντικρυ στοας τριπλη.

⁴And before the chambers was a walk to ten cubits breadth inward, a way of one cubit; and their doors toward the north.

⁴Και κατα προσωπον των θαλαμων ητο περιπατος δεκα πηχων το πλατος, και προς τα εσω οδος μιας πηχης· και αι θυραι αυτων ησαν προς βορραν.

⁵Now the upper chambers were shorter: for the galleries were higher than these, than the lower, and than the middlemost of the building.

⁵Οι δε ανωτατοι θαλαμοι ησαν στενωτεροι, επειδη αι κατω στοαι και αι μεσαιαι της οικοδομης εξειχον μαλλον παρα εκεινους.

⁶For they were in three stories, but had not pillars as the pillars of the courts: therefore the building was straitened more than the lowest and the middlemost from the ground.

⁶Διοτι ουτοι ησαν εις τρια πατωματα, δεν ειχον ομως στυλους ως τους στυλους των αυλων· δια τουτο η οικοδομη εστενουτο μαλλον παρα το κατωτατον και το μεσαιον απο της γης.

⁷And the wall that was without over against the chambers, toward the utter court on the forepart of the chambers, the length thereof was fifty cubits.

⁷Και ο τοιχος ο εξωθεν απεναντι των θαλαμων, προς την εξωτεραν αυλην κατα προσωπον των θαλαμων, ειχε μηκος πεντηκοντα πηχων.

⁸For the length of the chambers that were in the utter court was fifty cubits: and, lo, before the temple were an hundred cubits.

⁸Διοτι το μηκος των θαλαμων των εν τη εξωτερα αυλη ητο πεντηκοντα πηχων· και ιδου, κατα προσωπον του ναου ησαν εκατον πηχαι.

⁹And from under these chambers was the entry on the east side, as one goeth into them from the utter court.

⁹Κατωθεν δε των θαλαμων τουτων ητο η εισοδος κατα ανατολας, καθως υπαγει τις προς αυτους απο της αυλης της εξωτερας.

¹⁰The chambers were in the thickness of the wall of the court toward the east, over against the separate place, and over against the building.

¹⁰Οι θαλαμοι ησαν εις το παχος του τοιχου της αυλης προς ανατολας, κατα προσωπον του κεχωρισμενου μερους και κατα προσωπον της οικοδομης.

¹¹And the way before them was like the appearance of the chambers which were toward the north, as long as they, and as broad as they: and all their goings out were both according to their fashions, and according to their doors.

¹¹Και η οδος η κατα προσωπον αυτων ητο κατα την θεαν των θαλαμων των προς βορραν· ειχον ισον μηκος με εκεινους, ισον πλατος με εκεινους· και πασαι αι εξοδοι αυτων ησαν και κατα τας διαταξεις εκεινων και κατα τας θυρας εκεινων.

¹²And according to the doors of the chambers that were toward the south was a door in the head of the way, even the way directly before the wall toward the east, as one entereth into them.

¹²Και κατα τας θυρας των βαλαμων των προς νοτον ητο θυρα εις την αρχην της οδου, της οδου κατ' ευθειαν απεναντι του τοιχου προς ανατολας, καθως εμβαινει τις προς αυτα.

¹³Then said he unto me, The north chambers and the south chambers, which are before the separate place, they be holy chambers, where the priests that approach unto the LORD shall eat the most holy things: there shall they lay the most holy things, and the meat offering, and the sin offering, and the trespass offering; for the place is holy.

¹³Και ειπε προς εμε, Οι βορειοι θαλαμοι και οι νοτιοι θαλαμοι οι κατα προσωπον του κεχωρισμενου μερους, ουτοι ειναι θαλαμοι αγιοι, οπου οι ιερεις οι πλησιαζοντες εις τον Κυριον θελουσι τρωγει τα αγιωτατα· εκει θελουσι θετει τα αγιωτατα και την προσφοραν την εξ αλφιτων και την περι αμαρτιας προσφοραν και την περι ανομιας προσφοραν, διοτι ο τοπος ειναι αγιος.

¹⁴When the priests enter therein, then shall they not go out of the holy place into the utter court, but there they shall lay their garments wherein they minister; for they are holy; and shall put on other garments, and shall approach to those things which are for the people.

¹⁴Οταν οι ιερεις εισερχωνται εκει, δεν θελουσιν εξερχεσθαι απο του αγιου τοπου εις την αυλην την εξωτεραν, αλλ' εκει θελουσιν αποθετει τα ενδυματα αυτων, με τα οποια λειτουργουσι, διοτι ειναι αγια· και θελουσιν ενδυεσθαι αλλα ενδυματα, και τοτε θελουσι πλησιαζει εις ο, τι ειναι του λαου.

¹⁵Now when he had made an end of measuring the inner house, he brought me forth toward the gate whose prospect is toward the east, and measured it round about.

¹⁵[] Αφου δε ετελειωσε τα μετρα του εσωθεν οικου, με εξηγαγε προς την πυλην την βλεπουσαν κατα ανατολας και εμετρησεν αυτον κυκλω κυκλω.

¹⁶He measured the east side with the measuring reed, five hundred reeds, with the measuring reed round about.

¹⁶Εμετρησε την ανατολικην πλευραν με το καλαμινον μετρον, πεντακοσιους καλαμους, με το καλαμινον μετρον κυκλω.

¹⁷He measured the north side, five hundred reeds, with the measuring reed round about.

¹⁷Εμετρησε την βορειον πλευραν, πεντακοσιους καλαμους, με το καλαμινον μετρον κυκλω.

¹⁸He measured the south side, five hundred reeds, with the measuring reed.

¹⁸Εμετρησε την νοτιον πλευραν, πεντακοσιους καλαμους, με το καλαμινον μετρον.

¹⁹He turned about to the west side, and measured five hundred reeds with the measuring reed.

¹⁹Εστραφη επειτα προς την δυτικην πλευραν και εμετρησε πεντακοσιους καλαμους με το καλαμινον μετρον.

²⁰He measured it by the four sides: it had a wall round about, five hundred reeds long, and five hundred broad, to make a separation between the sanctuary and the profane place.

²⁰Εμετρησεν αυτον κατα τας τεσσαρας πλευρας· ειχε τοιχον κυκλω κυκλω, πεντακοσιων καλαμων το μηκος και πεντακοσιων το πλατος, δια να καμνη χωρισμα μεταξυ του αγιου και του βεβηλου τοπου.
