1Thus saith the LORD to his anointed, to Cyrus, whose right hand I have holden, to subdue nations before him; and I will loose the loins of kings, to open before him the two leaved gates; and the gates shall not be shut;
1[] Ουτω λεγει Κυριος προς τον κεχρισμενον αυτου, τον Κυρον, του οποιου την δεξιαν χειρα εκρατησα, δια να υποταξω τα εθνη εμπροσθεν αυτου· και θελω λυσει την οσφυν των βασιλεων, δια να ανοιξω τα διθυρα εμπροθεν αυτου· και αι πυλαι δεν θελουσι κλεισθη.
2I will go before thee, and make the crooked places straight: I will break in pieces the gates of brass, and cut in sunder the bars of iron:
2Εγω θελω υπαγει εμπροθεν σου και εξομαλυνει τας σκολιας οδους· θελω συντριψει τας χαλκινας θυρας και κοψει τους σιδηρους μοχλους.
3And I will give thee the treasures of darkness, and hidden riches of secret places, that thou mayest know that I, the LORD, which call thee by thy name, am the God of Israel.
3Και θελω σοι δωσει θησαυρους φυλαττομενους εν σκοτει και πλουτη κερυμμενα εν αποκρυφοις· δια να γνωρισης οτι εγω ειμαι ο Κυριος ο καλων σε κατ' ονομα, ο Θεος του Ισραηλ.
4For Jacob my servant's sake, and Israel mine elect, I have even called thee by thy name: I have surnamed thee, though thou hast not known me.
4Δια τον Ιακωβ τον δουλον μου και τον Ισραηλ τον εκλεκτον μου σε εκαλεσα μαλιστα με το ονομα σου, σε επωνομασα, αν και δεν με εγνωρισας.
5I am the LORD, and there is none else, there is no God beside me: I girded thee, though thou hast not known me:
5[] Εγω ειμαι ο Κυριος και δεν ειναι αλλος· δεν υπαρχει εκτος εμου Θεος· εγω σε περιεζωσα, αν και δεν με εγνωρισας,
6That they may know from the rising of the sun, and from the west, that there is none beside me. I am the LORD, and there is none else.
6δια να γνωρισωσιν απο ανατολων ηλιου και απο δυσμων, οτι εκτος εμου δεν υπαρχει ουδεις· εγω ειμαι ο Κυριος και δεν υπαρχει αλλος·
7I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
7ο κατασκευασας το φως και ποιησας το σκοτος· ο ποιων ειρηνην και κτιζων κακον· εγω ο Κυριος ποιω παντα ταυτα.
8Drop down, ye heavens, from above, and let the skies pour down righteousness: let the earth open, and let them bring forth salvation, and let righteousness spring up together; I the LORD have created it.
8Σταλαξατε δροσον ανωθεν, ουρανοι, και ας ρανωσιν αι νεφελαι δικαιοσυνην· ας ανοιξη η γη και ας γεννηση σωτηριαν και ας βλαστηση δικαιοσυνην ομου· εγω ο Κυριος εποιησα τουτο.
9Woe unto him that striveth with his Maker! Let the potsherd strive with the potsherds of the earth. Shall the clay say to him that fashioneth it, What makest thou? or thy work, He hath no hands?
9Ουαι εις τον αντιμαχομενον προς τον Ποιητην αυτου. Ας αντιμαχεται το οστρακον προς τα οστρακα της γης· ο πηλος θελει ειπει προς τον πλαττοντα αυτον, Τι καμνεις; η το εργον σου, Ουτος δεν εχει χειρας;
10Woe unto him that saith unto his father, What begettest thou? or to the woman, What hast thou brought forth?
10Ουαι εις τον λεγοντα προς τον πατερα, τι γεννας; προς την γυναικα, τι κοιλοπονεις;
11Thus saith the LORD, the Holy One of Israel, and his Maker, Ask me of things to come concerning my sons, and concerning the work of my hands command ye me.
11[] Ουτω λεγει Κυριος, ο Αγιος του Ισραηλ και ο Πλαστης αυτου· Ερωτατε με δια τα μελλοντα περι των υιων μου και περι του εργου των χειρων μου προσταξατε με.
12I have made the earth, and created man upon it: I, even my hands, have stretched out the heavens, and all their host have I commanded.
12Εγω εκτισα την γην και εποιησα ανθρωπον επ' αυτης· εγω δια των χειρων μου εξετεινα τους ουρανους και εδωκα διαταγας εις πασαν την στρατιαν αυτων.
13I have raised him up in righteousness, and I will direct all his ways: he shall build my city, and he shall let go my captives, not for price nor reward, saith the LORD of hosts.
13Εγω εξηγειρα εκεινον εις δικαιοσυνην και θελω διευθυνει πασας τας οδους αυτου· αυτος θελει οικοδομησει την πολιν μου και θελει επιστρεψει τους αιχμαλωτους μου, ουχι με λυτρον ουδε με δωρα, λεγει ο Κυριος των δυναμεων.
14Thus saith the LORD, The labour of Egypt, and merchandise of Ethiopia and of the Sabeans, men of stature, shall come over unto thee, and they shall be thine: they shall come after thee; in chains they shall come over, and they shall fall down unto thee, they shall make supplication unto thee, saying, Surely God is in thee; and there is none else, there is no God.
14Ουτω λεγει Κυριος· Ο κοπος της Αιγυπτου και το εμποριον της Αιθιοπιας και των Σαβαιων, ανδρων μεγαλοσωμων, θελουσι περασει εις σε και σου θελουσιν εισθαι· οπισω σου θελουσιν ακολουθει· με αλυσεις θελουσι περασει και θελουσι σε προσκυνησει, θελουσι σε ικετευσει, λεγοντες, Βεβαιως ο Θεος ειναι εν σοι, και δεν υπαρχει ουδεις αλλος Θεος.
15Verily thou art a God that hidest thyself, O God of Israel, the Saviour.
15Τωοντι συ εισαι Θεος κρυπτομενος, Θεε του Ισραηλ, ο Σωτηρ.
16They shall be ashamed, and also confounded, all of them: they shall go to confusion together that are makers of idols.
16Παντες ουτοι θελουσιν αισχυνθη και εντραπη· οι εργαται των ειδωλων θελουσι φυγει εν καταισχυνη παντες ομου.
17But Israel shall be saved in the LORD with an everlasting salvation: ye shall not be ashamed nor confounded world without end.
17Ο δε Ισραηλ θελει σωθη δια του Κυριου σωτηριαν αιωνιον· δεν θελετε αισχυνθη ουδε εντραπη αιωνιως.
18For thus saith the LORD that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited: I am the LORD; and there is none else.
18Διοτι ουτω λεγει Κυριος, ο ποιησας τους ουρανους· αυτος ο Θεος, ο πλασας την γην και ποιησας αυτην· οστις αυτος εστερεωσεν αυτην, εκτισεν αυτην ουχι ματαιως αλλ' επλασεν αυτην δια να κατοικηται· Εγω ειμαι ο Κυριος και δεν υπαρχει αλλος.
19I have not spoken in secret, in a dark place of the earth: I said not unto the seed of Jacob, Seek ye me in vain: I the LORD speak righteousness, I declare things that are right.
19Δεν ελαλησα εν κρυπτω ουδε εν σκοτεινω τοπω της γης· δεν ειπα προς το σπερμα του Ιακωβ, Ζητησατε με ματαιως· εγω ειμαι ο Κυριος, ο λαλων δικαιοσυνην, ο αναγγελλων ευθυτητα.
20Assemble yourselves and come; draw near together, ye that are escaped of the nations: they have no knowledge that set up the wood of their graven image, and pray unto a god that cannot save.
20[] Συναχθητε και ελθετε· πλησιασατε ομου, οι σεσωσμενοι των εθνων· δεν εχουσι νοησιν, οσοι σηκονουσι το γλυπτον ξυλον αυτων και προσευχονται εις θεον μη δυναμενον να σωση.
21Tell ye, and bring them near; yea, let them take counsel together: who hath declared this from ancient time? who hath told it from that time? have not I the LORD? and there is no God else beside me; a just God and a Saviour; there is none beside me.
21Απαγγειλατε και φερετε αυτους πλησιον· μαλιστα, ας συμβουλευθωσιν ομου· τις ανηγγειλε τουτο απ' αρχης; τις εφανερωσε τουτο εξ εκεινου του καιρου; ουχι εγω ο Κυριος; και δεν υπαρχει εκτος εμου αλλος Θεος· Θεος δικαιος και Σωτηρ· δεν υπαρχει εκτος εμου.
22Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else.
22Εις εμε βλεψατε και σωθητε, παντα τα περατα της γης· διοτι εγω ειμαι ο Θεος και δεν υπαρχει αλλος.
23I have sworn by myself, the word is gone out of my mouth in righteousness, and shall not return, That unto me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear.
23Ωμοσα εις εμαυτον· ο λογος εξηλθεν εκ του στοματος μου εν δικαιοσυνη και δεν θελει επιστραφη, Οτι παν γονυ θελει καμψει εις εμε, πασα γλωσσα θελει ομνυει εις εμε.
24Surely, shall one say, in the LORD have I righteousness and strength: even to him shall men come; and all that are incensed against him shall be ashamed.
24Βεβαιως θελουσιν ειπει περι εμου, Εν τω Κυριω ειναι η δικαιοσυνη και η δυναμις· εις αυτον θελουσι προσελθει και θελουσι καταισχυνθη παντες οι οργιζομενοι εναντιον αυτου.
25In the LORD shall all the seed of Israel be justified, and shall glory.
25Εν τω Κυριω θελει δικαιωθη απαν το σπερμα του Ισραηλ.
