1And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to him for to shew him the buildings of the temple.
1[] Και εξελθων ο Ιησους ανεχωρει απο του ιερου· και προσηλθον οι μαθηται αυτου δια να επιδειξωσιν εις αυτον τας οικοδομας του ιερου.
2And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.
2Ο δε Ιησους ειπε προς αυτους· Δεν βλεπετε παντα ταυτα; αληθως σας λεγω, δεν θελει αφεθη εδω λιθος επι λιθον, οστις δεν θελει κατακρημνισθη.
3And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?
3Και ενω εκαθητο επι του ορους των Ελαιων, προσηλθον προς αυτον οι μαθηται κατ' ιδιαν, λεγοντες· Ειπε προς ημας ποτε θελουσι γεινει ταυτα, και τι το σημειον της παρουσιας σου και της συντελειας του αιωνος;
4And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.
4[] Και αποκριθεις ο Ιησους, ειπε προς αυτους· Βλεπετε μη σας πλανηση τις.
5For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.
5Διοτι πολλοι θελουσιν ελθει επι τω ονοματι μου, λεγοντες, Εγω ειμαι ο Χριστος, και πολλους θελουσι πλανησει.
6And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.
6Θελετε δε ακουσει πολεμους και φημας πολεμων· προσεχετε μη ταραχθητε· επειδη παντα ταυτα πρεπει να γεινωσιν, αλλα δεν ειναι ετι το τελος.
7For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.
7Διοτι θελει εγερθη εθνος επι εθνος και βασιλεια επι βασιλειαν, και θελουσι γεινει πειναι και λοιμοι και σεισμοι κατα τοπους·
8All these are the beginning of sorrows.
8παντα δε ταυτα ειναι αρχη ωδινων.
9Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake.
9Τοτε θελουσι σας παραδωσει εις θλιψιν και θελουσι σας θανατωσει, και θελετε εισθαι μισουμενοι υπο παντων των εθνων δια το ονομα μου.
10And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.
10Και τοτε θελουσι σκανδαλισθη πολλοι και θελουσι παραδωσει αλληλους και θελουσι μισησει αλληλους.
11And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.
11Και πολλοι ψευδοπροφηται θελουσιν εγερθη και πλανησει πολλους,
12And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.
12και επειδη θελει πληθυνθη η ανομια, η αγαπη των πολλων θελει ψυχρανθη.
13But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
13Ο δε υπομεινας εως τελους, ουτος θελει σωθη.
14And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.
14Και θελει κηρυχθη τουτο το ευαγγελιον της βασιλειας εν ολη τη οικουμενη προς μαρτυριαν εις παντα τα εθνη, και τοτε θελει ελθει το τελος.
15When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)
15Οταν λοιπον ιδητε το βδελυγμα της ερημωσεως, το λαληθεν δια του προφητου Δανιηλ, ισταμενον εν τω τοπω τω αγιω-ο αναγινωσκων ας εννοη-
16Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains:
16τοτε οι εν τη Ιουδαια ας φευγωσιν επι τα ορη·
17Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house:
17οστις ευρεθη επι του δωματος, ας μη καταβη δια να λαβη τι εκ της οικιας αυτου·
18Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes.
18και οστις ευρεθη εν τω αγρω, ας μη επιστρεψη οπισω δια να λαβη τα ιματια αυτου.
19And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days!
19Ουαι δε εις τας εγκυμονουσας και τας θηλαζουσας εν εκειναις ταις ημεραις.
20But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day:
20Προσευχεσθε δε δια να μη γεινη η φυγη υμων εν χειμωνι μηδε εν σαββατω.
21For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.
21Διοτι τοτε θελει εισθαι θλιψις μεγαλη, οποια δεν εγεινεν απ' αρχης κοσμου εως του νυν, ουδε θελει γεινει.
22And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.
22Και αν δεν συνετεμνοντο αι ημεραι εκειναι, δεν ηθελε σωθη ουδεμια σαρξ· δια τους εκλεκτους ομως θελουσι συντμηθη αι ημεραι εκειναι.
23Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not.
23Τοτε εαν τις ειπη προς υμας· Ιδου εδω ειναι ο Χριστος η εδω, μη πιστευσητε·
24For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.
24διοτι θελουσιν εγερθη ψευδοχριστοι και ψευδοπροφηται και θελουσι δειξει σημεια μεγαλα και τερατα, ωστε να πλανησωσιν, ει δυνατον, και τους εκλεκτους.
25Behold, I have told you before.
25Ιδου, προειπα προς υμας.
26Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not.
26Εαν λοιπον ειπωσι προς υμας, Ιδου, εν τη ερημω ειναι, μη εξελθητε, Ιδου, εν τοις ταμειοις, μη πιστευσητε·
27For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
27διοτι καθως η αστραπη εξερχεται απο ανατολων και φαινεται εως δυσμων, ουτω θελει εισθαι και η παρουσια του Υιου του ανθρωπου.
28For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together.
28Διοτι οπου ειναι το πτωμα, εκει θελουσι συναχθη οι αετοι.
29Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:
29Ευθυς δε μετα την θλιψιν των ημερων εκεινων ο ηλιος θελει σκοτισθη και η σεληνη δεν θελει δωσει το φεγγος αυτης, και οι αστερες θελουσι πεσει απο του ουρανου και αι δυναμεις των ουρανων θελουσι σαλευθη.
30And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
30Και τοτε θελει φανη το σημειον του Υιου του ανθρωπου εν τω ουρανω, και τοτε θελουσι θρηνησει πασαι αι φυλαι της γης και θελουσιν ιδει τον Υιον του ανθρωπου ερχομενον επι των νεφελων του ουρανου μετα δυναμεως και δοξης πολλης.
31And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.
31Και θελει αποστειλει τους αγγελους αυτου μετα σαλπιγγος φωνης μεγαλης, και θελουσι συναξει τους εκλεκτους αυτου εκ των τεσσαρων ανεμων απ' ακρων ουρανων εως ακρων αυτων.
32Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh:
32[] Απο δε της συκης μαθετε την παραβολην· Οταν ο κλαδος αυτης γεινη ηδη απαλος και εκβλαστανη τα φυλλα, γνωριζετε οτι πλησιαζει το θερος·
33So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.
33ουτω και σεις, οταν ιδητε παντα ταυτα, εξευρετε οτι πλησιον ειναι επι τας θυρας.
34Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.
34Αληθως σας λεγω, δεν θελει παρελθει η γενεα αυτη, εωσου γεινωσι παντα ταυτα.
35Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.
35Ο ουρανος και η γη θελουσι παρελθει, οι δε λογοι μου δεν θελουσι παρελθει.
36But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.
36Περι δε της ημερας εκεινης και της ωρας ουδεις γινωσκει, ουδε οι αγγελοι των ουρανων, ειμη ο Πατηρ μου μονος·
37But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
37και καθως αι ημεραι του Νωε, ουτω θελει εισθαι και η παρουσια του Υιου του ανθρωπου.
38For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,
38Διοτι καθως εν ταις ημεραις ταις προ του κατακλυσμου ησαν τρωγοντες και πινοντες, νυμφευομενοι και νυμφευοντες, εως της ημερας καθ' ην ο Νωε εισηλθεν εις την κιβωτον,
39And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
39και δεν ενοησαν, εωσου ηλθεν ο κατακλυσμος και εσηκωσε παντας, ουτω θελει εισθαι και η παρουσια του Υιου του ανθρωπου.
40Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
40Τοτε δυο θελουσιν εισθαι εν τω αγρω· ο εις παραλαμβανεται και ο εις αφινεται·
41Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
41δυο γυναικες θελουσιν αλεθει εν τω μυλω, μια παραλαμβανεται και μια αφινεται.
42Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.
42Αγρυπνειτε λοιπον, διοτι δεν εξευρετε ποια ωρα ερχεται ο Κυριος υμων.
43But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up.
43Τουτο δε γινωσκετε οτι εαν ηξευρεν ο οικοδεσποτης εν ποια φυλακη της νυκτος ερχεται ο κλεπτης, ηθελεν αγρυπνησει και δεν ηθελεν αφησει να διορυχθη η οικια αυτου.
44Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.
44Δια τουτο και σεις γινεσθε ετοιμοι, διοτι καθ' ην ωραν δεν στοχαζεσθε, ερχεται ο Υιος του ανθρωπου.
45Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season?
45Τις λοιπον ειναι ο πιστος και φρονιμος δουλος, τον οποιον ο κυριος αυτου κατεστησεν επι των υπηρετων αυτου, δια να διδη εις αυτους την τροφην εν καιρω;
46Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.
46Μακαριος ο δουλος εκεινος, τον οποιον οταν ελθη ο κυριος αυτου θελει ευρει πραττοντα ουτως.
47Verily I say unto you, That he shall make him ruler over all his goods.
47Αληθως σας λεγω οτι θελει καταστησει αυτον επι παντων των υπαρχοντων αυτου.
48But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming;
48Εαν δε ειπη ο κακος εκεινος δουλος εν τη καρδια αυτου, Βραδυνει να ελθη ο κυριος μου,
49And shall begin to smite his fellowservants, and to eat and drink with the drunken;
49και αρχιση να δερη τους συνδουλους, να τρωγη δε και να πινη μετα των μεθυοντων,
50The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of,
50θελει ελθει ο κυριος του δουλου εκεινου καθ' ην ημεραν δεν προσμενει και καθ' ην ωραν δεν εξευρει,
51And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
51και θελει αποχωρισει αυτον, και το μερος αυτου θελει θεσει μετα των υποκριτων· εκει θελει εισθαι ο κλαυθμος και ο τριγμος των οδοντων.
