1Then came the daughters of Zelophehad, the son of Hepher, the son of Gilead, the son of Machir, the son of Manasseh, of the families of Manasseh the son of Joseph: and these are the names of his daughters; Mahlah, Noah, and Hoglah, and Milcah, and Tirzah.
1[] Και προσηλθον αι θυγατερες του Σαλπααδ, υιου του Εφερ, υιου του Γαλααδ, υιου του Μαχειρ, υιου του Μανασση, εκ των συγγενειων Μανασση υιου του Ιωσηφ. Και ταυτα ειναι τα ονοματα των θυγατερων αυτου· Μααλα, Νουα και Αγλα και Μελχα και Περσα.
2And they stood before Moses, and before Eleazar the priest, and before the princes and all the congregation, by the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, saying,
2Και εσταθησαν ενωπιον του Μωυσεως και ενωπιον Ελεαζαρ του ιερεως και ενωπιον των αρχοντων και πασης της συναγωγης εις την θυραν της σκηνης του μαρτυριου, λεγουσαι,
3Our father died in the wilderness, and he was not in the company of them that gathered themselves together against the LORD in the company of Korah; but died in his own sin, and had no sons.
3Ο πατηρ ημων απεθανεν εν τη ερημω· και αυτος δεν ητο εν τη συνοδια των συναθροισθεντων κατα του Κυριου εν τη συνοδια του Κορε, αλλ' απεθανε δι' ιδιαν αυτου αμαρτιαν και δεν ειχεν υιους·
4Why should the name of our father be done away from among his family, because he hath no son? Give unto us therefore a possession among the brethren of our father.
4δια τι να εξαλειφθη το ονομα του πατρος ημων εκ μεσου της συγγενειας αυτου, διοτι δεν εχει υιον; δοτε εις ημας κληρονομιαν μεταξυ των αδελφων του πατρος ημων.
5And Moses brought their cause before the LORD.
5Και εφερεν ο Μωυσης την κρισιν αυτων ενωπιον του Κυριου.
6And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
6Και ελαλησε Κυριος προς τον Μωυσην λεγων,
7The daughters of Zelophehad speak right: thou shalt surely give them a possession of an inheritance among their father's brethren; and thou shalt cause the inheritance of their father to pass unto them.
7Ορθως λαλουσιν αι θυγατερες του Σαλπααδ· εξαπαντος θελεις δωσει εις αυτας κτημα εις κληρονομιαν μεταξυ των αδελφων του πατρος αυτων· και θελεις διαβιβασει εις αυτας την κληρονομιαν του πατρος αυτων.
8And thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel, saying, If a man die, and have no son, then ye shall cause his inheritance to pass unto his daughter.
8Και θελεις λαλησει προς τους υιους Ισραηλ λεγων, Εαν ανθρωπος τις αποθανη και δεν εχη υιον, τοτε θελετε διαβιβασει την κληρονομιαν αυτου εις την θυγατερα αυτου.
9And if he have no daughter, then ye shall give his inheritance unto his brethren.
9Και εαν δεν εχη θυγατερα, τοτε θελετε δωσει την κληρονομιαν αυτου εις τους αδελφους αυτου.
10And if he have no brethren, then ye shall give his inheritance unto his father's brethren.
10Και εαν δεν εχη αδελφους, τοτε θελετε δωσει την κληρονομιαν αυτου εις τους αδελφους του πατρος αυτου.
11And if his father have no brethren, then ye shall give his inheritance unto his kinsman that is next to him of his family, and he shall possess it: and it shall be unto the children of Israel a statute of judgment, as the LORD commanded Moses.
11Εαν δε ο πατηρ αυτου δεν εχη αδελφους, τοτε θελετε δωσει την κληρονομιαν αυτου εις τον συγγενη αυτου τον πλησιεστερον εκ της συγγενειας αυτου, και ουτος θελει εξουσιαζει αυτην. Και τουτο θελει εισθαι εις τους υιους Ισραηλ διαταγμα κρισεως, καθως προσεταξε Κυριος εις τον Μωυσην.
12And the LORD said unto Moses, Get thee up into this mount Abarim, and see the land which I have given unto the children of Israel.
12[] Και ειπε Κυριος προς τον Μωυσην, Αναβα εις τουτο το ορος Αβαριμ και ιδε την γην, την οποιαν εδωκα εις τους υιους Ισραηλ·
13And when thou hast seen it, thou also shalt be gathered unto thy people, as Aaron thy brother was gathered.
13και αφου ιδης αυτην, θελεις προστεθη και συ εις τον λαον σου, καθως προσετεθη Ααρων ο αδελφος σου·
14For ye rebelled against my commandment in the desert of Zin, in the strife of the congregation, to sanctify me at the water before their eyes: that is the water of Meribah in Kadesh in the wilderness of Zin.
14διοτι σεις ηναντιωθητε εις τον λογον μου εν τη ερημω Σιν εν τη αντιλογια της συναγωγης, ωστε να με αγιασητε εις το υδωρ ενωπιον αυτων. Τουτο ειναι το υδωρ Μεριβα εν Καδης εν τη ερημω Σιν.
15And Moses spake unto the LORD, saying,
15[] Και ελαλησεν ο Μωυσης προς τον Κυριον, λεγων,
16Let the LORD, the God of the spirits of all flesh, set a man over the congregation,
16Κυριος, ο Θεος των πνευματων πασης σαρκος, ας διοριση ανθρωπον επι την συναγωγην,
17Which may go out before them, and which may go in before them, and which may lead them out, and which may bring them in; that the congregation of the LORD be not as sheep which have no shepherd.
17οστις να εξελθη εμπροσθεν αυτων, και οστις να εισελθη εμπροσθεν αυτων, και οστις να εξαγη αυτους, και οστις να εισαγη αυτους· ωστε να μη ηναι η συναγωγη του Κυριου ως προβατα μη εχοντα ποιμενα.
18And the LORD said unto Moses, Take thee Joshua the son of Nun, a man in whom is the spirit, and lay thine hand upon him;
18Και ειπε Κυριος προς τον Μωυσην, Λαβε μετα σου Ιησουν τον υιον του Ναυη, ανθρωπον εις τον οποιον ειναι το πνευμα, και επιθες την χειρα σου επ' αυτον·
19And set him before Eleazar the priest, and before all the congregation; and give him a charge in their sight.
19και παραστησον αυτον ενωπιον Ελεαζαρ του ιερεως και ενωπιον πασης της συναγωγης και δος εις αυτον διαταγας ενωπιον αυτων·
20And thou shalt put some of thine honor upon him, that all the congregation of the children of Israel may be obedient.
20και θελεις επιθεσει επ' αυτον απο της δοξης σου, δια να υπακουωσιν εις αυτον πασα η συναγωγη των υιων Ισραηλ·
21And he shall stand before Eleazar the priest, who shall ask counsel for him after the judgment of Urim before the LORD: at his word shall they go out, and at his word they shall come in, both he, and all the children of Israel with him, even all the congregation.
21και θελει παρασταθη ενωπιον Ελεαζαρ του ιερεως, οστις θελει ερωτησει περι αυτου κατα την κρισιν του Ουριμ ενωπιον του Κυριου· κατα τον λογον αυτου θελουσιν εξερχεσθαι και κατα τον λογον αυτου θελουσιν εισερχεσθαι, αυτος και παντες οι υιοι Ισραηλ μετ' αυτου και πασα η συναγωγη.
22And Moses did as the LORD commanded him: and he took Joshua, and set him before Eleazar the priest, and before all the congregation:
22Και εκαμεν ο Μωυσης, καθως προσεταξεν εις αυτον ο Κυριος· και ελαβε τον Ιησουν και παρεστησεν αυτον ενωπιον Ελεαζαρ του ιερεως, και ενωπιον πασης της συναγωγης·
23And he laid his hands upon him, and gave him a charge, as the LORD commanded by the hand of Moses.
23και επεθηκε τας χειρας αυτου επ' αυτον και εδωκεν εις αυτον διαταγας, καθως προσεταξε Κυριος δια χειρος του Μωυσεως.
