¹And the LORD spake unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying,

¹[] Και ελαλησε Κυριος προς τον Μωυσην και προς τον Ααρων, λεγων,

²Take the sum of the sons of Kohath from among the sons of Levi, after their families, by the house of their fathers,

²Λαβε το κεφαλαιον των υιων Κααθ εκ μεσου των υιων Λευι, κατα τας συγγενειας αυτων, κατα τους οικους των πατερων αυτων,

³From thirty years old and upward even until fifty years old, all that enter into the host, to do the work in the tabernacle of the congregation.

³απο τριακοντα ετων και επανω εως πεντηκοντα ετων, παντων των εισερχομενων εις το ταγμα δια να καμνωσιν εργασιας εν τη σκηνη του μαρτυριου.

⁴This shall be the service of the sons of Kohath in the tabernacle of the congregation, about the most holy things:

⁴Αυτη θελει εισθαι η υπηρεσια των υιων Κααθ εν τη σκηνη του μαρτυριου· τα αγια των αγιων.

⁵And when the camp setteth forward, Aaron shall come, and his sons, and they shall take down the covering vail, and cover the ark of testimony with it:

⁵Και οταν σηκονηται το στρατοπεδον, θελουσιν ερχεσθαι ο Ααρων και οι υιοι αυτου και θελουσι καταβιβασει το καλυπτηριον καταπετασμα και θελουσι σκεπαζει δι' αυτου την κιβωτον του μαρτυριου·

⁶And shall put thereon the covering of badgers' skins, and shall spread over it a cloth wholly of blue, and shall put in the staves thereof.

⁶και θελουσι βαλει επ' αυτην καλυμμα εκ δερματων θωων και επανωθεν θελουσιν εφαπλωσει υφασμα ολον κυανουν και θελουσι διαπερασει τους μοχλους αυτης.

⁷And upon the table of showbread they shall spread a cloth of blue, and put thereon the dishes, and the spoons, and the bowls, and covers to cover withal: and the continual bread shall be thereon:

⁷Και επι της τραπεζης της προθεσεως θελουσιν εφαπλωσει υφασμα ολον κυανουν και θελουσι βαλει επ' αυτην τους δισκους, και τα θυμιαματοδοχα, και τα λεκανια, και τα σπονδεια, δια να σπενδωσι· και οι παντοτεινοι αρτοι θελουσιν εισθαι επ' αυτης·

⁸And they shall spread upon them a cloth of scarlet, and cover the same with a covering of badgers' skins, and shall put in the staves thereof.

⁸και θελουσιν εφαπλωσει επ' αυτα υφασμα κοκκινον και τουτο θελουσι σκεπασει δια καλυμματος εκ δερματων θωων και θελουσι διαπερασει τους μοχλους αυτης.

⁹And they shall take a cloth of blue, and cover the candlestick of the light, and his lamps, and his tongs, and his snuffdishes, and all the oil vessels thereof, wherewith they minister unto it:

⁹Και θελουσι λαβει υφασμα κυανουν, και θελουσι περισκεπασει την λυχνιαν του φωτος, και τους λυχνους αυτης, και τα λυχνοψαλιδα αυτης, και τα υποθεματα αυτης, και παντα τα ελαιοδοχα αγγεια αυτης, δια των οποιων εκτελουσι τας υπηρεσιας αυτης·

¹⁰And they shall put it and all the vessels thereof within a covering of badgers' skins, and shall put it upon a bar.

¹⁰και θελουσι θεσει αυτην μετα παντων των σκευων αυτης εντος καλυμματος εκ δερματων θωων και θελουσιν επιθεσει αυτην επι τους μοχλους.

¹¹And upon the golden altar they shall spread a cloth of blue, and cover it with a covering of badgers' skins, and shall put to the staves thereof:

¹¹Επι δε το θυσιαστηριον το χρυσουν θελουσιν εφαπλωσει υφασμα κυανουν και τουτο θελουσι σκεπασει δια καλυμματος εκ δερματων θωων και θελουσι διαπερασει τους μοχλους αυτου.

¹²And they shall take all the instruments of ministry, wherewith they minister in the sanctuary, and put them in a cloth of blue, and cover them with a covering of badgers' skins, and shall put them on a bar:

¹²και θελουσι λαβει παντα τα σκευη της υπηρεσιας, δια των οποιων υπηρετουσιν εις τα αγια, και βαλει εις υφασμα κυανουν και θελουσι σκεπασει αυτα δια καλυμματος εκ δερματων θωων και επιθεσει εις μοχλους.

¹³And they shall take away the ashes from the altar, and spread a purple cloth thereon:

¹³Και θελουσι καθαρισει το θυσιαστηριον απο της στακτης, και θελουσι περισκεπασει αυτο δια υφασματος πορφυρου·

¹⁴And they shall put upon it all the vessels thereof, wherewith they minister about it, even the censers, the fleshhooks, and the shovels, and the basins, all the vessels of the altar; and they shall spread upon it a covering of badgers' skins, and put to the staves of it.

¹⁴και θελουσι βαλει επ' αυτο παντα τα σκευη αυτου, δια των οποιων εκτελουσι τας υπηρεσιας αυτου, τα θυμιατηρια, τας κρεαγρας, και τα πτυαρια, και τας λεκανας· παντα τα σκευη του θυσιαστηριου, και θελουσιν εφαπλωσει επ' αυτο καλυμμα εκ δερματων θωων και διαπερασει τους μοχλους αυτου.

¹⁵And when Aaron and his sons have made an end of covering the sanctuary, and all the vessels of the sanctuary, as the camp is to set forward; after that, the sons of Kohath shall come to bear it: but they shall not touch any holy thing, lest they die. These things are the burden of the sons of Kohath in the tabernacle of the congregation.

¹⁵Και αφου τελειωσωσιν ο Ααρων και οι υιοι αυτου να περισκεπαζωσι τα αγια και παντα τα σκευη τα αγια, οταν μελλη να σηκωθη το στρατοπεδον, τοτε θελουσι πλησιασει οι υιοι του Κααθ δια να βαστασωσιν αυτα· και δεν θελουσιν εγγισει τα αγια, δια να μη αποθανωσι· ταυτα ειναι τα οσα θελουσι βασταζει οι υιοι του Κααθ εν τη σκηνη του μαρτυριου.

¹⁶And to the office of Eleazar the son of Aaron the priest pertaineth the oil for the light, and the sweet incense, and the daily meat offering, and the anointing oil, and the oversight of all the tabernacle, and of all that therein is, in the sanctuary, and in the vessels thereof.

¹⁶Και η επιστασια του Ελεαζαρ υιου του Ααρων του ιερεως θελει εισθαι το ελαιον του φωτος, και το ευωδες θυμιαμα, και η καθημερινη εξ αλφιτων προσφορα, και το ελαιον του χρισματος, η επιστασια πασης της σκηνης, και παντων των εν αυτη, του αγιαστηριου, και παντων των σκευων αυτου.

¹⁷And the LORD spake unto Moses and unto Aaron saying,

¹⁷Και ελαλησε Κυριος προς τον Μωυσην και προς τον Ααρων, λεγων,

¹⁸Cut ye not off the tribe of the families of the Kohathites from among the Levites:

¹⁸Μη εξολοθρευσητε την φυλην των συγγενειων των Κααθιτων εκ μεσου των Λευιτων·

¹⁹But thus do unto them, that they may live, and not die, when they approach unto the most holy things: Aaron and his sons shall go in, and appoint them every one to his service and to his burden:

¹⁹αλλα τουτο καμετε εις αυτους, δια να ζησωσι και μη αποθανωσι προσεγγιζοντες εις τα αγια των αγιων· ο Ααρων και οι υιοι αυτου ας εισερχωνται και ας διοριζωσιν αυτους εκαστον εις το εργον αυτου και εις το φορτιον αυτου·

²⁰But they shall not go in to see when the holy things are covered, lest they die.

²⁰ας μη εισερχωνται ομως να ιδωσιν, οταν περισκεπαζωνται τα αγια, δια να μη αποθανωσι.

²¹And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

²¹[] Και ελαλησε Κυριος προς τον Μωυσην, λεγων,

²²Take also the sum of the sons of Gershon, throughout the houses of their fathers, by their families;

²²Λαβε το κεφαλαιον και των υιων Γηρσων, κατα τους οικους των πατερων αυτων, κατα τας συγγενειας αυτων·

²³From thirty years old and upward until fifty years old shalt thou number them; all that enter in to perform the service, to do the work in the tabernacle of the congregation.

²³απο τριακοντα ετων και επανω εως πεντηκοντα ετων θελεις απαριθμησει αυτους, παντας τους εισερχομενους εις το ταγμα, δια να καμνωσιν εργασιας εν τη σκηνη του μαρτυριου.

²⁴This is the service of the families of the Gershonites, to serve, and for burdens:

²⁴Αυτη ειναι η υπηρεσια των συγγενειων των Γηρσωνιτων, να υπηρετωσι και να βασταζωσι·

²⁵And they shall bear the curtains of the tabernacle, and the tabernacle of the congregation, his covering, and the covering of the badgers' skins that is above upon it, and the hanging for the door of the tabernacle of the congregation,

²⁵θελουσι λοιπον βασταζει τα παραπετασματα της σκηνης και την σκηνην του μαρτυριου, το καλυμμα αυτης και το καλυμμα το εκ δερματων θωων το επανωθεν αυτης και το καταπετασμα της θυρας της σκηνης του μαρτυριου,

²⁶And the hangings of the court, and the hanging for the door of the gate of the court, which is by the tabernacle and by the altar round about, and their cords, and all the instruments of their service, and all that is made for them: so shall they serve.

²⁶και τα παραπετασματα της αυλης και το καταπετασμα της θυρας της πυλης της αυλης, τα οποια ειναι δια την σκηνην, και δια το θυσιαστηριον κυκλω, και τα σχοινια αυτων και παντα τα σκευη της υπηρεσιας αυτων και παντα τα χρησιμευοντα εις αυτα· ουτω θελουσιν υπηρετει.

²⁷At the appointment of Aaron and his sons shall be all the service of the sons of the Gershonites, in all their burdens, and in all their service: and ye shall appoint unto them in charge all their burdens.

²⁷Κατα προσταγην του Ααρων και των υιων αυτου θελουσι γινεσθαι πασαι αι υπηρεσιαι των υιων των Γηρσωνιτων, εις παντα τα φορτια αυτων και εις πασας τας υπηρεσιας αυτων· και σεις θελετε διοριζει εις αυτους παντα οσα οφειλουσι να βασταζωσιν.

²⁸This is the service of the families of the sons of Gershon in the tabernacle of the congregation: and their charge shall be under the hand of Ithamar the son of Aaron the priest.

²⁸Αυτη ειναι η υπηρεσια των συγγενειων των υιων των Γηρσωνιτων εν τη σκηνη του μαρτυριου· και η φυλακη αυτων θελει εισθαι υπο την επιστασιαν του Ιθαμαρ υιου του Ααρων του ιερεως.

²⁹As for the sons of Merari, thou shalt number them after their families, by the house of their fathers;

²⁹Θελεις απαριθμησει και τους υιους του Μεραρι κατα τας συγγενειας αυτων, κατα τους οικους των πατερων αυτων·

³⁰From thirty years old and upward even unto fifty years old shalt thou number them, every one that entereth into the service, to do the work of the tabernacle of the congregation.

³⁰απο τριακοντα ετων και επανω εως πεντηκοντα ετων θελεις απαριθμησει αυτους παντας τους εισερχομενους εις το ταγμα, δια να καμνωσιν εργασιας εν τη σκηνη του μαρτυριου.

³¹And this is the charge of their burden, according to all their service in the tabernacle of the congregation; the boards of the tabernacle, and the bars thereof, and the pillars thereof, and sockets thereof,

³¹Και ταυτα ειναι, τα οποια οφειλουσι να βασταζωσι καθ' ολην την υπηρεσιαν αυτων εν τη σκηνη του μαρτυριου· αι σανιδες της σκηνης και οι μοχλοι αυτης και οι στυλοι αυτης, και τα υποβασια αυτης,

³²And the pillars of the court round about, and their sockets, and their pins, and their cords, with all their instruments, and with all their service: and by name ye shall reckon the instruments of the charge of their burden.

³²και οι στυλοι της αυλης κυκλω και τα υποβασια αυτων και οι πασσαλοι αυτων και τα σχοινια αυτων, μετα παντων των σκευων αυτων και παντα τα προς υπηρεσιαν αυτων· και θελετε διορισει κατ ονομα τα σκευη τα οποια οφειλουσι να βασταζωσιν.

³³This is the service of the families of the sons of Merari, according to all their service, in the tabernacle of the congregation, under the hand of Ithamar the son of Aaron the priest.

³³Αυτη ειναι η υπηρεσια των συγγενειων των υιων Μεραρι, καθ' ολην την υπηρεσιαν αυτων εν τη σκηνη του μαρτυριου, υπο την επιστασιαν του Ιθαμαρ υιου του Ααρων του ιερεως.

³⁴And Moses and Aaron and the chief of the congregation numbered the sons of the Kohathites after their families, and after the house of their fathers,

³⁴[] Ο Μωυσης λοιπον και ο Ααρων και οι αρχοντες της συναγωγης απηριθμησαν τους υιους των Κααθιτων κατα τας συγγενειας αυτων και κατα τους οικους των πατερων αυτων,

³⁵From thirty years old and upward even unto fifty years old, every one that entereth into the service, for the work in the tabernacle of the congregation:

³⁵απο τριακοντα ετων και επανω εως πεντηκοντα ετων, παντας τους εισερχομενους εις το ταγμα, δια να καμνωσιν εργασιας εν τη σκηνη του μαρτυριου·

³⁶And those that were numbered of them by their families were two thousand seven hundred and fifty.

³⁶και οι απαριθμηθεντες αυτων κατα τας συγγενειας αυτων ησαν δυο χιλιαδες επτακοσιοι πεντηκοντα.

³⁷These were they that were numbered of the families of the Kohathites, all that might do service in the tabernacle of the congregation, which Moses and Aaron did number according to the commandment of the LORD by the hand of Moses.

³⁷Ουτοι ειναι οι απαριθμηθεντες των συγγενειων των Κααθιτων, παντες οι υπηρετουντες εν τη σκηνη του μαρτυριου, τους οποιους απηριθμησαν ο Μωυσης και ο Ααρων, καθως προσεταξε Κυριος δια χειρος του Μωυσεως.

³⁸And those that were numbered of the sons of Gershon, throughout their families, and by the house of their fathers,

³⁸Οι δε απαριθμηθεντες των υιων Γηρσων κατα τας συγγενειας αυτων και κατα τους οικους των πατερων αυτων,

³⁹From thirty years old and upward even unto fifty years old, every one that entereth into the service, for the work in the tabernacle of the congregation,

³⁹απο τριακοντα ετων και επανω εως πεντηκοντα ετων, παντες οι εισερχομενοι εις το ταγμα δια να καμνωσιν εργασιας εν τη σκηνη του μαρτυριου,

⁴⁰Even those that were numbered of them, throughout their families, by the house of their fathers, were two thousand and six hundred and thirty.

⁴⁰οι απαριθμηθεντες αυτων κατα τας συγγενειας αυτων, κατα τους οικους των πατερων αυτων, ησαν δυο χιλιαδες εξακοσιοι τριακοντα.

⁴¹These are they that were numbered of the families of the sons of Gershon, of all that might do service in the tabernacle of the congregation, whom Moses and Aaron did number according to the commandment of the LORD.

⁴¹Ουτοι ειναι οι απαριθμηθεντες των συγγενειων των υιων Γηρσων, παντες οι υπηρετουντες εν τη σκηνη του μαρτυριου, τους οποιους απηριθμησαν ο Μωυσης και ο Ααρων κατα την προσταγην του Κυριου.

⁴²And those that were numbered of the families of the sons of Merari, throughout their families, by the house of their fathers,

⁴²Οι δε απαριθμηθεντες των συγγενειων των υιων Μεραρι κατα τας συγγενειας αυτων, κατα τους οικους των πατερων αυτων,

⁴³From thirty years old and upward even unto fifty years old, every one that entereth into the service, for the work in the tabernacle of the congregation,

⁴³απο τριακοντα ετων και επανω εως πεντηκοντα ετων, παντες οι εισερχομενοι εις το ταγμα δια να καμνωσιν εργασιας εν τη σκηνη του μαρτυριου,

⁴⁴Even those that were numbered of them after their families, were three thousand and two hundred.

⁴⁴οι απαριθμηθεντες αυτων κατα τας συγγενειας αυτων ησαν τρεις χιλιαδες και διακοσιοι.

⁴⁵These be those that were numbered of the families of the sons of Merari, whom Moses and Aaron numbered according to the word of the LORD by the hand of Moses.

⁴⁵Ουτοι ειναι οι απαριθμηθεντες των συγγενειων των υιων Μεραρι, τους οποιους απηριθμησαν ο Μωυσης και ο Ααρων, καθως προσεταξε Κυριος δια χειρος του Μωυσεως.

⁴⁶All those that were numbered of the Levites, whom Moses and Aaron and the chief of Israel numbered, after their families, and after the house of their fathers,

⁴⁶Παντες οι απαριθμηθεντες των Λευιτων, τους οποιους απηριθμησαν ο Μωυσης και ο Ααρων και οι αρχοντες του Ισραηλ, κατα τας συγγενειας αυτων και κατα τους οικους των πατερων αυτων,

⁴⁷From thirty years old and upward even unto fifty years old, every one that came to do the service of the ministry, and the service of the burden in the tabernacle of the congregation.

⁴⁷απο τριακοντα ετων και επανω εως πεντηκοντα ετων, παντες οι εισερχομενοι δια να υπηρετωσιν υπηρεσιαν και να βασταζωσι το φορτιον εν τη σκηνη του μαρτυριου,

⁴⁸Even those that were numbered of them, were eight thousand and five hundred and fourscore,

⁴⁸οι απαριθμηθεντες αυτων ησαν οκτω χιλιαδες πεντακοσιοι ογδοηκοντα.

⁴⁹According to the commandment of the LORD they were numbered by the hand of Moses, every one according to his service, and according to his burden: thus were they numbered of him, as the LORD commanded Moses.

⁴⁹Απηριθμηθησαν καθως προσεταξεν ο Κυριος δια χειρος του Μωυσεως, εκαστος κατα την υπηρεσιαν αυτου και κατα το φορτιον αυτου. Ουτως απηριθμηθησαν υπ' αυτου, καθως προσεταξε Κυριος εις τον Μωυσην.
