1Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?
1[] Δια τι εφρυαξαν τα εθνη και οι λαοι εμελετησαν ματαια;
2The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying,
2Παρεσταθησαν οι βασιλεις της γης, και οι αρχοντες συνηχθησαν ομου, κατα του Κυριου, και κατα του χριστου αυτου, λεγοντες,
3Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.
3Ας διασπασωμεν τους δεσμους αυτων, και ας απορριψωμεν αφ' ημων τας αλυσεις αυτων.
4He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the LORD shall have them in derision.
4Ο καθημενος εν ουρανοις θελει γελασει· ο Κυριος θελει εκμυκτηρισει αυτους.
5Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure.
5Τοτε θελει λαλησει προς αυτους εν τη οργη αυτου, και εν τω θυμω αυτου θελει συνταραξει αυτους.
6Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion.
6Αλλ' εγω, θελει ειπει, εχρισα τον Βασιλεα μου επι Σιων, το ορος το αγιον μου.
7I will declare the decree: the LORD hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee.
7[] Εγω θελω αναγγειλει το προσταγμα· ο Κυριος ειπε προς εμε, Υιος μου εισαι συ· εγω σημερον σε εγεννησα·
8Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.
8Ζητησον παρ' εμου, και θελω σοι δωσει τα εθνη κληρονομιαν σου, και ιδιοκτησιαν σου τα περατα της γης·
9Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel.
9θελεις ποιμανει αυτους εν ραβδω σιδηρα· ως σκευος κεραμεως θελεις συντριψει αυτους.
10Be wise now therefore, O ye kings: be instructed, ye judges of the earth.
10[] Τωρα λοιπον, βασιλεις, συνετισθητε· διδαχθητε, κριται της γης.
11Serve the LORD with fear, and rejoice with trembling.
11Δουλευετε τον Κυριον εν φοβω και αγαλλεσθε εν τρομω.
12Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him.
12Φιλειτε τον Υιον, μηποτε οργισθη, και απολεσθητε εκ της οδου, οταν εξαφθη ταχεως ο θυμος αυτου. Μακαριοι παντες οι πεποιθοτες επ' αυτον.
