¹He that is wounded in the stones, or hath his privy member cut off, shall not enter into the congregation of the LORD.

¹"Orang yang telah dikebiri atau yang dipotong zakarnya tak boleh menjadi warga umat TUHAN.

²A bastard shall not enter into the congregation of the LORD; even to his tenth generation shall he not enter into the congregation of the LORD.

²Orang yang lahir di luar pernikahan dan semua keturunannya sampai yang kesepuluh, tak boleh menjadi warga umat TUHAN.

³An Ammonite or Moabite shall not enter into the congregation of the LORD; even to their tenth generation shall they not enter into the congregation of the LORD for ever:

³Orang Amon dan Moab serta keturunan mereka sampai yang kesepuluh tak boleh menjadi warga umat TUHAN,

⁴Because they met you not with bread and with water in the way, when ye came forth out of Egypt; and because they hired against thee Balaam the son of Beor of Pethor of Mesopotamia, to curse thee.

⁴karena mereka tak mau memberi kamu makanan dan air ketika kamu dalam perjalanan keluar dari Mesir. Bahkan mereka mengupah Bileam, anak Beor dari kota Petor di Mesopotamia, untuk mengutuk kamu.

⁵Nevertheless the LORD thy God would not hearken unto Balaam; but the LORD thy God turned the curse into a blessing unto thee, because the LORD thy God loved thee.

⁵Tetapi TUHAN Allahmu tak mau mendengarkan Bileam. Sebaliknya Ia mengubah kutuk itu menjadi berkat, karena Ia mengasihi kamu.

⁶Thou shalt not seek their peace nor their prosperity all thy days for ever.

⁶Selama kamu hidup dan sampai selama-lamanya, janganlah menolong bangsa-bangsa itu atau membuat mereka makmur.

⁷Thou shalt not abhor an Edomite; for he is thy brother: thou shalt not abhor an Egyptian; because thou wast a stranger in his land.

⁷Jangan memandang rendah orang Edom karena mereka itu saudaramu. Jangan juga memandang rendah orang Mesir, karena kamu pernah tinggal di negeri mereka.

⁸The children that are begotten of them shall enter into the congregation of the LORD in their third generation.

⁸Mulai dari angkatan ketiga dan selanjutnya keturunan mereka boleh menjadi warga umat TUHAN."

⁹When the host goeth forth against thine enemies, then keep thee from every wicked thing.

⁹"Pada waktu kamu sedang berperang, kamu harus menghindari segala sesuatu yang menjadikan kamu najis.

¹⁰If there be among you any man, that is not clean by reason of uncleanness that chanceth him by night, then shall he go abroad out of the camp, he shall not come within the camp:

¹⁰Kalau seorang menjadi najis karena mengeluarkan mani pada waktu tidur, ia harus meninggalkan perkemahan dan tinggal di luar.

¹¹But it shall be, when evening cometh on, he shall wash himself with water: and when the sun is down, he shall come into the camp again.

¹¹Menjelang sore ia harus mandi dan waktu matahari terbenam ia boleh kembali ke perkemahan.

¹²Thou shalt have a place also without the camp, whither thou shalt go forth abroad:

¹²Kamu harus menyediakan tempat di luar perkemahan untuk buang air.

¹³And thou shalt have a paddle upon thy weapon; and it shall be, when thou wilt ease thyself abroad, thou shalt dig therewith, and shalt turn back and cover that which cometh from thee:

¹³Kalau mau ke sana, bawalah selain perlengkapanmu juga sepotong kayu untuk menggali lubang tempat membuang hajat dan untuk menimbuninya.

¹⁴For the LORD thy God walketh in the midst of thy camp, to deliver thee, and to give up thine enemies before thee; therefore shall thy camp be holy: that he see no unclean thing in thee, and turn away from thee.

¹⁴TUHAN Allahmu menyertai kamu di dalam perkemahanmu untuk melindungi kamu dan memberi kamu kemenangan atas musuh-musuhmu. Maka jagalah supaya perkemahanmu tetap bersih. Jangan sampai terdapat sesuatu yang tidak senonoh di antara kamu, supaya TUHAN jangan meninggalkan kamu."

¹⁵Thou shalt not deliver unto his master the servant which is escaped from his master unto thee:

¹⁵"Apabila seorang budak melarikan diri dari tuannya lalu datang kepadamu minta perlindungan, janganlah menyuruh dia pulang.

¹⁶He shall dwell with thee, even among you, in that place which he shall choose in one of thy gates, where it liketh him best: thou shalt not oppress him.

¹⁶Ia boleh tinggal di salah satu kotamu menurut pilihannya, dan kamu tak boleh memperlakukan dia dengan keras.

¹⁷There shall be no whore of the daughters of Israel, nor a sodomite of the sons of Israel.

¹⁷Seorang Israel, baik laki-laki maupun perempuan, tak boleh menjadi pelacur di kuil-kuil pemujaan.

¹⁸Thou shalt not bring the hire of a whore, or the price of a dog, into the house of the LORD thy God for any vow: for even both these are abomination unto the LORD thy God.

¹⁸Juga uang yang diperoleh dari hasil pelacuran tak boleh dibawa ke Rumah TUHAN Allahmu untuk membayar kaul, sebab TUHAN Allahmu membenci pelacur di kuil-kuil pemujaan dan upah pelacuran.

¹⁹Thou shalt not lend upon usury to thy brother; usury of money, usury of victuals, usury of any thing that is lent upon usury:

¹⁹Kalau kamu meminjamkan uang kepada orang asing, kamu boleh minta bunga. Tetapi kalau kamu meminjamkan uang atau makanan atau barang lain kepada orang sebangsamu, pinjaman itu harus diberikan tanpa bunga. Taatilah perintah itu, maka TUHAN Allahmu memberkati segala sesuatu yang kamu lakukan di negeri yang kamu duduki.

²⁰Unto a stranger thou mayest lend upon usury; but unto thy brother thou shalt not lend upon usury: that the LORD thy God may bless thee in all that thou settest thine hand to in the land whither thou goest to possess it.

²⁰(23:19)

²¹When thou shalt vow a vow unto the LORD thy God, thou shalt not slack to pay it: for the LORD thy God will surely require it of thee; and it would be sin in thee.

²¹Kalau kamu menjanjikan sesuatu kepada TUHAN Allahmu, janganlah menunda-nunda untuk menepati janji itu, karena TUHAN Allahmu tetap menuntutnya, dan kamu berdosa jika tidak memenuhinya.

²²But if thou shalt forbear to vow, it shall be no sin in thee.

²²Kamu tidak berdosa kalau tidak membuat janji kepada TUHAN.

²³That which is gone out of thy lips thou shalt keep and perform; even a freewill offering, according as thou hast vowed unto the LORD thy God, which thou hast promised with thy mouth.

²³Tetapi kalau kamu dengan sukarela membuat janji kepada TUHAN Allahmu, kamu wajib menepatinya.

²⁴When thou comest into thy neighbor's vineyard, then thou mayest eat grapes thy fill at thine own pleasure; but thou shalt not put any in thy vessel.

²⁴Apabila kamu sedang berjalan melalui kebun anggur orang lain, kamu boleh makan buah anggur sebanyak yang kamu inginkan, tetapi tak boleh mengumpulkannya di dalam keranjang.

²⁵When thou comest into the standing corn of thy neighbor, then thou mayest pluck the ears with thine hand; but thou shalt not move a sickle unto thy neighbor's standing corn.

²⁵Kalau kamu sedang berjalan melalui ladang gandum orang lain, kamu boleh makan gandum yang kamu petik dengan tangan, tetapi tak boleh memotongnya dengan sabit."
