¹And it shall be, when thou art come in unto the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee for an inheritance, and possessest it, and dwellest therein;

¹"Apabila kamu sudah masuk ke negeri yang diberikan TUHAN Allahmu kepadamu dan sudah berdiam di situ,

²That thou shalt take of the first of all the fruit of the earth, which thou shalt bring of thy land that the LORD thy God giveth thee, and shalt put it in a basket, and shalt go unto the place which the LORD thy God shall choose to place his name there.

²maka hasil pertama dari segala yang kamu kumpulkan dari tanahmu harus kamu masukkan ke dalam sebuah bakul, dan kamu bawa ke tempat yang dipilih TUHAN Allahmu.

³And thou shalt go unto the priest that shall be in those days, and say unto him, I profess this day unto the LORD thy God, that I am come unto the country which the LORD sware unto our fathers for to give us.

³Pergilah kepada imam yang bertugas pada waktu itu dan katakanlah kepadanya, 'Saya menyatakan kepada TUHAN Allahmu bahwa saya sudah masuk ke negeri yang dijanjikan-Nya kepada nenek moyang kita untuk diberikan kepada kita.'

⁴And the priest shall take the basket out of thine hand, and set it down before the altar of the LORD thy God.

⁴Imam akan menerima bakul itu dari tanganmu dan meletakkannya di depan mezbah TUHAN Allahmu.

⁵And thou shalt speak and say before the LORD thy God, A Syrian ready to perish was my father, and he went down into Egypt, and sojourned there with a few, and became there a nation, great, mighty, and populous:

⁵Kemudian di hadapan TUHAN Allahmu, engkau harus mengucapkan kata-kata ini: 'Ya TUHAN, nenek moyang saya seorang Aram yang mengembara. Ia membawa keluarganya ke Mesir untuk tinggal di sana sebagai pengungsi. Ketika pergi ke sana jumlah mereka hanya sedikit, tetapi mereka menjadi bangsa yang besar dan kuat.

⁶And the Egyptians evil entreated us, and afflicted us, and laid upon us hard bondage:

⁶Orang Mesir memperlakukan kami dengan kejam dan memaksa kami bekerja sebagai budak.

⁷And when we cried unto the LORD God of our fathers, the LORD heard our voice, and looked on our affliction, and our labor, and our oppression:

⁷Lalu kami berseru minta tolong kepada-Mu, TUHAN, Allah nenek moyang kami. Engkau mendengar seruan kami dan melihat penderitaan, kesusahan serta kesengsaraan kami.

⁸And the LORD brought us forth out of Egypt with a mighty hand, and with an outstretched arm, and with great terribleness, and with signs, and with wonders:

⁸Dengan kuasa dan kekuatan yang besar Engkau membebaskan kami dari Mesir. Engkau melakukan mujizat-mujizat dan keajaiban-keajaiban serta menimbulkan kejadian-kejadian yang menggemparkan musuh.

⁹And he hath brought us into this place, and hath given us this land, even a land that floweth with milk and honey.

⁹Kemudian Engkau membawa kami ke sini dan memberikan tanah yang kaya dan subur ini kepada kami.

¹⁰And now, behold, I have brought the firstfruits of the land, which thou, O LORD, hast given me. And thou shalt set it before the LORD thy God, and worship before the LORD thy God:

¹⁰Sebab itu, ya TUHAN, saya persembahkan di sini hasil pertama dari tanah yang Kauberikan kepada saya.' Lalu letakkanlah bakul itu di hadapan TUHAN Allahmu, dan sembahlah Dia.

¹¹And thou shalt rejoice in every good thing which the LORD thy God hath given unto thee, and unto thine house, thou, and the Levite, and the stranger that is among you.

¹¹Bersyukurlah untuk segala rezeki yang telah diberikan TUHAN Allahmu kepadamu dan keluargamu. Ajaklah orang Lewi dan orang asing yang tinggal di antara kamu ikut dalam perayaan itu.

¹²When thou hast made an end of tithing all the tithes of thine increase the third year, which is the year of tithing, and hast given it unto the Levite, the stranger, the fatherless, and the widow, that they may eat within thy gates, and be filled;

¹²Tiap tahun yang ketiga kamu harus memberikan persembahan sepersepuluhan, yaitu sepersepuluh dari hasil tanahmu kepada imam Lewi, orang asing, anak yatim piatu dan janda, sehingga di dalam setiap kotamu mereka mendapat makanan yang mereka perlukan. Kalau sudah,

¹³Then thou shalt say before the LORD thy God, I have brought away the hallowed things out of mine house, and also have given them unto the Levite, and unto the stranger, to the fatherless, and to the widow, according to all thy commandments which thou hast commanded me: I have not transgressed thy commandments, neither have I forgotten them.

¹³berkatalah kepada TUHAN Allahmu, 'Dari sepersepuluh hasil tanah yang harus dipersembahkan kepada-Mu, TUHAN, tidak sedikit pun tertinggal di rumah saya; semuanya sudah saya berikan kepada orang Lewi, orang asing, anak yatim piatu dan janda, seperti yang diperintahkan TUHAN Allahku kepada saya. Dari perintah TUHAN tentang persembahan sepersepuluhan tak ada yang saya langgar.

¹⁴I have not eaten thereof in my mourning, neither have I taken away ought thereof for any unclean use, nor given ought thereof for the dead: but I have hearkened to the voice of the LORD my God, and have done according to all that thou hast commanded me.

¹⁴Dari persembahan itu tidak sedikit pun yang saya makan waktu saya sedang berkabung, atau saya bawa ke luar rumah waktu saya sedang najis, atau saya berikan sebagai sajian kepada orang mati. Saya telah taat kepada-Mu, ya TUHAN; segala yang Kauperintahkan sudah saya lakukan.

¹⁵Look down from thy holy habitation, from heaven, and bless thy people Israel, and the land which thou hast given us, as thou swarest unto our fathers, a land that floweth with milk and honey.

¹⁵Dari tempat-Mu yang suci di surga sudilah Engkau memandang dan memberkati umat-Mu Israel; berkatilah juga negeri kaya dan subur yang telah Kauberikan kepada kami sesuai dengan janji-Mu kepada nenek moyang kami.'"

¹⁶This day the LORD thy God hath commanded thee to do these statutes and judgments: thou shalt therefore keep and do them with all thine heart, and with all thy soul.

¹⁶"Hari ini TUHAN Allahmu memerintahkan kamu untuk melakukan segala perintah itu; lakukanlah semuanya dengan setia dan dengan seluruh jiwa ragamu.

¹⁷Thou hast avouched the LORD this day to be thy God, and to walk in his ways, and to keep his statutes, and his commandments, and his judgments, and to hearken unto his voice:

¹⁷Hari ini kamu mengakui TUHAN sebagai Allahmu. Kamu berjanji untuk taat kepada-Nya dan melakukan segala hukum serta perintah-Nya.

¹⁸And the LORD hath avouched thee this day to be his peculiar people, as he hath promised thee, and that thou shouldest keep all his commandments;

¹⁸Hari ini TUHAN menerima kamu sebagai umat-Nya sendiri, seperti yang dijanjikan-Nya kepadamu, dan Ia memerintahkan kamu untuk melakukan segala perintah-Nya.

¹⁹And to make thee high above all nations which he hath made, in praise, and in name, and in honor; and that thou mayest be an holy people unto the LORD thy God, as he hath spoken.

¹⁹TUHAN akan membuat kamu lebih besar dari semua bangsa lain yang sudah diciptakan-Nya, dan kamu akan dipuji dan dihormati. Kamu menjadi umat TUHAN Allahmu seperti yang dijanjikan-Nya."
