¹Now these are the kings of the land, which the children of Israel smote, and possessed their land on the other side Jordan toward the rising of the sun, from the river Arnon unto mount Hermon, and all the plain on the east:

¹Daerah sebelah timur Yordan, dari Lembah Sungai Arnon terus naik ke Lembah Yordan sampai sejauh Gunung Hermon di sebelah utara, sudah direbut dan diduduki oleh orang Israel. Ada dua orang raja yang mereka kalahkan.

²Sihon king of the Amorites, who dwelt in Heshbon, and ruled from Aroer, which is upon the bank of the river Arnon, and from the middle of the river, and from half Gilead, even unto the river Jabbok, which is the border of the children of Ammon;

²Yang seorang bernama Sihon, raja Amori yang berkedudukan di Hesybon. Daerah kekuasaannya meliputi separuh daerah Gilead: yaitu dari Aroer (di tepi Lembah Arnon) dan kota yang di tengah-tengah lembah itu sampai sejauh Sungai Yabok di perbatasan daerah bangsa Amon;

³And from the plain to the sea of Chinneroth on the east, and unto the sea of the plain, even the salt sea on the east, the way to Bethjeshimoth; and from the south, under Ashdothpisgah:

³juga meliputi daerah Lembah Yordan sebelah timur, dari Danau Galilea ke arah selatan sampai ke Bet-Yesimot (di sebelah timur Laut Mati), terus ke kaki Gunung Pisga.

⁴And the coast of Og king of Bashan, which was of the remnant of the giants, that dwelt at Ashtaroth and at Edrei,

⁴Raja lain yang dikalahkan oleh orang Israel ialah Raja Og dari negeri Basan, yang berkedudukan di Asytarot dan Edrei. Ia salah seorang yang tersisa dari bangsa Refaim.

⁵And reigned in mount Hermon, and in Salcah, and in all Bashan, unto the border of the Geshurites and the Maachathites, and half Gilead, the border of Sihon king of Heshbon.

⁵Wilayah kekuasaannya meliputi Gunung Hermon, Salkha, dan seluruh Basan sampai sejauh daerah Gesur dan Maakha; juga meliputi separuh daerah Gilead sampai sejauh daerah kekuasaan Raja Sihon di kota Hesybon.

⁶Them did Moses the servant of the LORD and the children of Israel smite: and Moses the servant of the LORD gave it for a possession unto the Reubenites, and the Gadites, and the half tribe of Manasseh.

⁶Itulah kedua orang raja yang dikalahkan oleh Musa bersama-sama bangsa Israel. Tanah raja-raja itu diberikan oleh Musa, hamba TUHAN itu, kepada suku Ruben, Gad dan separuh suku Manasye, untuk menjadi tanah milik mereka.

⁷And these are the kings of the country which Joshua and the children of Israel smote on this side Jordan on the west, from Baalgad in the valley of Lebanon even unto the mount Halak, that goeth up to Seir; which Joshua gave unto the tribes of Israel for a possession according to their divisions;

⁷Raja-raja yang dikalahkan oleh Yosua bersama-sama bangsa Israel ialah semua raja-raja di daerah sebelah barat Sungai Yordan, dari Baal-Gad di Lembah Libanon terus sampai ke Pegunungan Gundul di sebelah selatan dekat Edom. Daerah itu dibagi-bagikan Yosua kepada suku-suku bangsa Israel untuk menjadi tanah milik mereka.

⁸In the mountains, and in the valleys, and in the plains, and in the springs, and in the wilderness, and in the south country; the Hittites, the Amorites, and the Canaanites, the Perizzites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites:

⁸Wilayah itu meliputi daerah pegunungan, daerah kaki bukit di sebelah barat, Lembah Yordan dengan daerah kaki bukitnya, daerah lereng-lereng di sebelah timur, dan daerah padang gurun di sebelah selatan. Daerah-daerah itu adalah bekas daerah tempat tinggal bangsa Het, Amori, Kanaan, Feris, Hewi dan Yebus.

⁹The king of Jericho, one; the king of Ai, which is beside Bethel, one;

⁹Raja-raja yang dikalahkan, semuanya sebanyak tiga puluh satu orang; yaitu raja-raja dari kota-kota berikut ini: Yerikho, Ai (dekat Betel), Yerusalem, Hebron, Yarmut, Lakhis, Eglon, Gezer, Debir, Geder, Horma, Arad, Libna, Adulam, Makeda, Betel, Tapuah, Hefer, Afek, Lasaron, Madon, Hazor, Simron-Meron, Akhsaf, Taanakh, Megido, Kedes, Yokneam (di Karmel), Dor (di pesisir), Goyim (di Galilea) dan Tirza.
