¹Praise ye the LORD. Praise ye the LORD from the heavens: praise him in the heights.

¹Pujilah TUHAN! Pujilah TUHAN, hai seisi surga! Semua yang tinggal di tempat tinggi, pujilah Dia!

²Praise ye him, all his angels: praise ye him, all his hosts.

²Pujilah Dia, hai semua malaikat-Nya, pujilah Dia, hai seluruh tentara surga!

³Praise ye him, sun and moon: praise him, all ye stars of light.

³Pujilah Dia, hai matahari dan bulan, pujilah Dia, hai bintang-bintang yang gemerlapan!

⁴Praise him, ye heavens of heavens, and ye waters that be above the heavens.

⁴Pujilah Dia, hai langit yang tertinggi, pujilah Dia, hai air di atas langit!

⁵Let them praise the name of the LORD: for he commanded, and they were created.

⁵Baiklah mereka semua memuji nama TUHAN, sebab semuanya dijadikan atas perintah-Nya.

⁶He hath also stablished them for ever and ever: he hath made a decree which shall not pass.

⁶Ia menentukan tempatnya masing-masing, ketetapan-Nya berlaku untuk selama-lamanya.

⁷Praise the LORD from the earth, ye dragons, and all deeps:

⁷Pujilah TUHAN, hai seisi bumi, hai naga-naga laut dan seluruh samudra raya;

⁸Fire, and hail; snow, and vapours; stormy wind fulfilling his word:

⁸hai kilat dan hujan es, salju dan awan, angin kencang yang menurut perintah TUHAN!

⁹Mountains, and all hills; fruitful trees, and all cedars:

⁹Pujilah Dia, hai bukit-bukit dan gunung-gunung, pohon buah-buahan dan semua hutan;

¹⁰Beasts, and all cattle; creeping things, and flying fowl:

¹⁰semua ternak dan binatang liar, segala binatang melata dan burung!

¹¹Kings of the earth, and all people; princes, and all judges of the earth:

¹¹Pujilah Dia, hai raja-raja dan segala bangsa, para bangsawan dan semua penguasa;

¹²Both young men, and maidens; old men, and children:

¹²semua pemuda dan pemudi, orang tua dan orang muda.

¹³Let them praise the name of the LORD: for his name alone is excellent; his glory is above the earth and heaven.

¹³Baiklah mereka semua memuji nama TUHAN, sebab nama-Nya lebih agung dari segala nama; keagungan-Nya mengatasi langit dan bumi.

¹⁴He also exalteth the horn of his people, the praise of all his saints; even of the children of Israel, a people near unto him. Praise ye the LORD.

¹⁴Ia telah menguatkan bangsa-Nya, sehingga Ia dipuji-puji umat-Nya, Israel, umat kesayangan-Nya. Pujilah TUHAN!
