¹Judge me, O God, and plead my cause against an ungodly nation: O deliver me from the deceitful and unjust man.

¹神よ、わたしをさばき、神を恐れない民にむかって、わたしの訴えをあげつらい、たばかりをなすよこしまな人からわたしを助け出してください。

²For thou art the God of my strength: why dost thou cast me off? why go I mourning because of the oppression of the enemy?

²あなたはわたしの寄り頼む神です。なぜわたしを捨てられたのですか。なぜわたしは敵のしえたげによって悲しみ歩くのですか。

³O send out thy light and thy truth: let them lead me; let them bring me unto thy holy hill, and to thy tabernacles.

³あなたの光とまこととを送ってわたしを導き、あなたの聖なる山と、あなたの住まわれる所にわたしをいたらせてください。

⁴Then will I go unto the altar of God, unto God my exceeding joy: yea, upon the harp will I praise thee, O God my God.

⁴その時わたしは神の祭壇へ行き、わたしの大きな喜びである神へ行きます。神よ、わが神よ、わたしは琴をもってあなたをほめたたえます。わが魂よ、何ゆえうなだれるのか。何ゆえわたしのうちに思いみだれるのか。神を待ち望め。わたしはなおわが助け、わが神なる主をほめたたえるであろう。

⁵Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted within me? hope in God: for I shall yet praise him, who is the health of my countenance, and my God.

⁵わが魂よ、何ゆえうなだれるのか。何ゆえわたしのうちに思いみだれるのか。神を待ち望め。わたしはなおわが助け、わが神なる主をほめたたえるであろう。
