¹The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. Corrupt are they, and have done abominable iniquity: there is none that doeth good.

¹愚かな者は心のうちに「神はない」と言う。彼らは腐れはて、憎むべき不義をおこなった。善を行う者はない。

²God looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, that did seek God.

²神は天から人の子を見おろして、賢い者、神を尋ね求める者があるかないかを見られた。

³Every one of them is gone back: they are altogether become filthy; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.

³彼らは皆そむき、みなひとしく堕落した。善を行う者はない、ひとりもない。

⁴Have the workers of iniquity no knowledge? who eat up my people as they eat bread: they have not called upon God.

⁴悪を行う者は悟りがないのか。彼らは物食うようにわが民を食らい、また神を呼ぶことをしない。

⁵There were they in great fear, where no fear was: for God hath scattered the bones of him that encampeth against thee: thou hast put them to shame, because God hath despised them.

⁵彼らは恐るべきことのない時に大いに恐れた。神はよこしまな者の骨を散らされるからである。神が彼らを捨てられるので、彼らは恥をこうむるであろう。どうか、シオンからイスラエルの救が出るように。神がその民の繁栄を回復される時、ヤコブは喜び、イスラエルは楽しむであろう。

⁶Oh that the salvation of Israel were come out of Zion! When God bringeth back the captivity of his people, Jacob shall rejoice, and Israel shall be glad.

⁶どうか、シオンからイスラエルの救が出るように。神がその民の繁栄を回復される時、ヤコブは喜び、イスラエルは楽しむであろう。
