¹Hear my cry, O God; attend unto my prayer.

¹神よ、わたしの叫びを聞いてください。わたしの祈に耳を傾けてください。

²From the end of the earth will I cry unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed: lead me to the rock that is higher than I.

²わが心のくずおれるとき、わたしは地のはてからあなたに呼ばわります。わたしを導いてわたしの及びがたいほどの高い岩にのぼらせてください。

³For thou hast been a shelter for me, and a strong tower from the enemy.

³あなたはわたしの避け所、敵に対する堅固なやぐらです。

⁴I will abide in thy tabernacle for ever: I will trust in the covert of thy wings. Selah.

⁴わたしをとこしえにあなたの幕屋に住まわせ、あなたの翼の陰にのがれさせてください。〔セラ

⁵For thou, O God, hast heard my vows: thou hast given me the heritage of those that fear thy name.

⁵神よ、あなたはわたしのもろもろの誓いを聞き、み名を恐れる者に賜わる嗣業をわたしに与えられました。

⁶Thou wilt prolong the king's life: and his years as many generations.

⁶どうか王のいのちを延ばし、そのよわいをよろずよに至らせてください。

⁷He shall abide before God for ever: O prepare mercy and truth, which may preserve him.

⁷彼をとこしえに神の前に王たらしめ、いつくしみとまこととに命じて彼を守らせてください。そうすればわたしはとこしえにみ名をほめうたい、日ごとにわたしのもろもろの誓いを果すでしょう。

⁸So will I sing praise unto thy name for ever, that I may daily perform my vows.
