15

1At the end of every seven years thou shalt make a release.

2And this is the manner of the release: Every creditor that lendeth ought unto his neighbor shall release it; he shall not exact it of his neighbor, or of his brother; because it is called the LORD's release.

3Of a foreigner thou mayest exact it again: but that which is thine with thy brother thine hand shall release;
3Li jalan xtenamiteb teßxtoj lix cßaseb, abanan lê rech tenamitil têcuy xmâqueb. Incßaß teßxtoj lix cßaseb.
4Save when there shall be no poor among you; for the LORD shall greatly bless thee in the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee for an inheritance to possess it:
4Cui têbânu chi joßcan, incßaß tâcuânk nebaßil saß êyânk. Li Kâcuaß lê Dios texrosobtesi chi us saß li naßajej li tixqßue êre.
5Only if thou carefully hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe to do all these commandments which I command thee this day.
5Texrosobtesi cui têpâb chi anchal lê chßôl li cßaßru xye êre li Kâcuaß lê Dios ut têbânu li cßaßru naxye saß li chakßrab li yôquin chixyebal êre anakcuan.
6For the LORD thy God blesseth thee, as he promised thee: and thou shalt lend unto many nations, but thou shalt not borrow; and thou shalt reign over many nations, but they shall not reign over thee.
6Li Kâcuaß lê Dios texrosobtesi joß quixyechißi êre. Ut tâcuânk nabal lê tumin re têqßue chi toß reheb nabal li xnînkal ru tenamit. Abanan lâex mâ bar têpatzß êtumin chi toß. Lâex nimak lê cuanquil saß xbêneb nabal li tenamit. Abanan mâ ani tâcuânk xcuanquil saß êbên lâex.
7If there be among you a poor man of one of thy brethren within any of thy gates in thy land which the LORD thy God giveth thee, thou shalt not harden thine heart, nor shut thine hand from thy poor brother:
7Cui junak lê rech tenamitil nebaß saß junak reheb lê tenamit li tixqßue êre li Kâcuaß lê Dios, mêkßetkßeti êrib chixtenkßanquil. Têtenkßa ban chi incßaß minbilak êru.
8But thou shalt open thine hand wide unto him, and shalt surely lend him sufficient for his need, in that which he wanteth.
8Têtenkßa chi anchal êchßôl ut têtoßoni re li joß qßuial li târaj ru.
9Beware that there be not a thought in thy wicked heart, saying, The seventh year, the year of release, is at hand; and thine eye be evil against thy poor brother, and thou givest him nought; and he cry unto the LORD against thee, and it be sin unto thee.
9Micuan yibru naßleb saß lê chßôl ut mêye “Lâin incßaß tinqßue cßaßru re chi toß xban nak cuulac re li xcuuk li chihab nak incßaß teßxqßue rêkaj li nequeßxtoßoni.” Cui incßaß nequeqßue chi toß li cßaßru naraj, naru tixyâba xcßabaß li Dios ut li Dios tixqßue saß êbên li mâc xebânu.
10Thou shalt surely give him, and thine heart shall not be grieved when thou givest unto him: because that for this thing the LORD thy God shall bless thee in all thy works, and in all that thou puttest thine hand unto.
10Cheqßue ban chi anchal êchßôl ut chi nabal li cßaßru târaj. Ut li Kâcuaß texrosobtesi riqßuin chixjunil li cßaßru nequebânu.
11For the poor shall never cease out of the land: therefore I command thee, saying, Thou shalt open thine hand wide unto thy brother, to thy poor, and to thy needy, in thy land.
11Junelic tâcuânk nebaß saß lê tenamit. Joßcan nak lâin ninye êre nak têtenkßaheb lê ras êrîtzßin ut têtenkßaheb ajcuiß li nebaß ut li tenkßâc nequeßraj saß êtenamit.
12And if thy brother, an Hebrew man, or an Hebrew woman, be sold unto thee, and serve thee six years; then in the seventh year thou shalt let him go free from thee.
12Cui têlokß junak êmôs êrech aj Israel, usta cuînk usta ixk, cuakib chihab ajcuiß tâcßanjelak chêru. Saß xcuuk li chihab têrisi. Libre chic tâcanâk ut incßaß tento tixtoj li relic.
13And when thou sendest him out free from thee, thou shalt not let him go away empty:
13Ut nak tâêlk êriqßuin, mêtakla chi mâcßaß cuan re.
14Thou shalt furnish him liberally out of thy flock, and out of thy floor, and out of thy winepress: of that wherewith the LORD thy God hath blessed thee thou shalt give unto him.
14Têqßue ban lix quetômk li têrisi saß xyânk lê re. Ut têqßue chi nabal li ru lê racuîmk ut lê vino. Joß chanru nak quexrosobtesi li Kâcuaß, joßcan nak têqßue li cßaßru re.
15And thou shalt remember that thou wast a bondman in the land of Egypt, and the LORD thy God redeemed thee: therefore I command thee this thing to day.
15Chijulticokß êre chanru nak quexcuan chak lâex chokß rahobtesinbil môs aran Egipto ut li Kâcuaß lê Dios quicoloc chak êre. Joßcan nak lâin xinqßue êre li chakßrab aßin anakcuan.
16And it shall be, if he say unto thee, I will not go away from thee; because he loveth thee and thine house, because he is well with thee;
16Abanan, mâre lê môs tixye êre nak incßaß naraj êlc êriqßuin xban nak nequexra ut naxraheb ajcuiß lê ralal êcßajol, ut naxnau nak us cuânk êriqßuin.
17Then thou shalt take an awl, and thrust it through his ear unto the door, and he shall be thy servant for ever. And also unto thy maidservant thou shalt do likewise.
17Cui naxye êre chi joßcan, têxakab lê môs chiru li puerta ut têhop lix xic riqßuin jun li chßîchß kßes rußuj. Aßan retalil nak tâcanâk chokß êmôs chi junaj cua. Joßcan têbânu riqßuin lê môs, usta ixk, usta cuînk.
18It shall not seem hard unto thee, when thou sendest him away free from thee; for he hath been worth a double hired servant to thee, in serving thee six years: and the LORD thy God shall bless thee in all that thou doest.
18Mêcßoxla nak chßaßaj chokß êre xcanabanquil libre lê môs. Julticokß êre nak quicßanjelac chêru chiru cuakib chihab ut incßaß terto xtojbal joß eb li tojbil môs. Cui têbânu chi joßcan, li Kâcuaß lê Dios texrosobtesi ut us tex-êlk riqßuin chixjunil li têbânu.
19All the firstling males that come of thy herd and of thy flock thou shalt sanctify unto the LORD thy God: thou shalt do no work with the firstling of thy bullock, nor shear the firstling of thy sheep.
19Têkßaxtesi re li Kâcuaß lê Dios li xbên ral lê cuacax li têlom, ut li xbên ral lê carner li têlom. Incßaß têqßue chi cßanjelac li xbên ral lê bôyx ut mêbes rix li xbên ral lê carner.
20Thou shalt eat it before the LORD thy God year by year in the place which the LORD shall choose, thou and thy household.
20Rajlal chihab êrochben lê ralal êcßajol têtzaca xtibel li xul aßan chiru li Kâcuaß saß li naßajej li tixsicß ru re têlokßoni cuiß.
21And if there be any blemish therein, as if it be lame, or blind, or have any ill blemish, thou shalt not sacrifice it unto the LORD thy God.
21Abanan incßaß naru têqßue chokß mayej chiru li Kâcuaß junak xul cui cuan rêcß, malaj ut cui yêk rok, malaj ut mutzß li ru. Cui incßaß tzßakal re ru incßaß naru têmayeja chiru li Kâcuaß lê Dios.
22Thou shalt eat it within thy gates: the unclean and the clean person shall eat it alike, as the roebuck, and as the hart.
22Têtzaca li xul aßan saß eb lê tenamit. Usta muxbil êru usta incßaß muxbil êru, naru têtzaca joß nak nequetzacaheb li quej.Abanan, incßaß naru têtzaca xquiqßuel. Têhoy ban lix quiqßuel saß chßochß joß nak nequehoy li haß.
23Only thou shalt not eat the blood thereof; thou shalt pour it upon the ground as water.
