1And he said unto me, Son of man, stand upon thy feet, and I will speak unto thee.

2And the spirit entered into me when he spake unto me, and set me upon my feet, that I heard him that spake unto me.
2Ut nak quinrâtina li Kâcuaß, quichal cuiqßuin lix musikß ut quinixxakab ut lâin quicuabi nak quinrâtina.
3And he said unto me, Son of man, I send thee to the children of Israel, to a rebellious nation that hath rebelled against me: they and their fathers have transgressed against me, even unto this very day.
3Ut li Kâcuaß quixye cue: —At ralal cuînk, yôquin châtaklanquil riqßuineb li ralal xcßajol laj Israel. Eb li tenamit aßan kßaxal kßetkßeteb ut queßxkßet li cuâtin. Eb aßan joß eb ajcuiß lix xeßtônil yucuaßeb yôqueb chi mâcobc chicuu toj chalen anakcuan.
4For they are impudent children and stiffhearted. I do send thee unto them; and thou shalt say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD.
4Kßaxal joskßeb ut kßaxal cauheb xchßôl. Lâin yôquin châtaklanquil riqßuineb re nak tâye reheb: Joßcaßin xye li Kâcuaß Dios.
5And they, whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear, (for they are a rebellious house,) yet shall know that there hath been a prophet among them.
5Mâre chan nak teßrabi. Cui ut incßaß, mâcßaß xjalenquil, xban nak aßaneb jun tenamit kßaxal kßetkßeteb. Abanan teßxnau nak quicuan jun profeta saß xyânkeb re xchßolobanquil lix yâlal chiruheb.
6And thou, son of man, be not afraid of them, neither be afraid of their words, though briers and thorns be with thee, and thou dost dwell among scorpions: be not afraid of their words, nor be dismayed at their looks, though they be a rebellious house.
6Ut lâat, ralal cuînk, matxucuac chiruheb chi moco tatxucuak xban li cßaßru teßxye âcue. Kßaxal ra tânak cuiß li cßaßru teßxye âcue. Chanchan li qßuix ut chanchan nak cuancat saß xyânkeb laj xôcß nak cuânkat saß xyânkeb. Abanan matxucuac xban li cßaßru teßxye âcue chi moco tatxucuak chiruheb xban nak li tenamit aßan kßaxal kßetkßeteb.
7And thou shalt speak my words unto them, whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear: for they are most rebellious.
7Tâye li cuâtin reheb, usta teßrabi usta incßaß, xban nak li tenamit aßan aj kßetoleb âtin.
8But thou, son of man, hear what I say unto thee; Be not thou rebellious like that rebellious house: open thy mouth, and eat that I give thee.
8Abanan lâat, at ralal cuînk, abi li cßaßru yôquin chixyebal âcue. Mâkßetkßeti âcuib joß yôqueb li tenamit aßan. Te lâ cue ut tzaca li cßaßru tinqßue âcue, chan.
9And when I looked, behold, an hand was sent unto me; and, lo, a roll of a book was therein;
9Ut quicuil jun li ukßej yô chixqßuebal cue jun li botbil hu.Quixte li hu chicuu ut tzßîbanbil ru li hu xcaß pacßalil. Saß li hu aßan tzßîbanbil retalil chixjunil li yâbac ut li raylal li tâchâlk saß xbêneb laj Israel.
10And he spread it before me; and it was written within and without: and there was written therein lamentations, and mourning, and woe.
10Quixte li hu chicuu ut tzßîbanbil ru li hu xcaß pacßalil. Saß li hu aßan tzßîbanbil retalil chixjunil li yâbac ut li raylal li tâchâlk saß xbêneb laj Israel.
