23

1Woe be unto the pastors that destroy and scatter the sheep of my pasture! saith the LORD.
1Raylal tâchâlk saß xbêneb li nequeßcßamoc be saß xyânkeb lin tenamit xban nak xeßxcanab chi jeqßuîc ruheb lin tenamit ut xeßxcanab chi sachecß ruheb.
2Therefore thus saith the LORD God of Israel against the pastors that feed my people; Ye have scattered my flock, and driven them away, and have not visited them: behold, I will visit upon you the evil of your doings, saith the LORD.
2Aßan aßin li naxye li Kâcuaß lix Dioseb laj Israel reheb laj cßamol be li sicßbileb ru chirilbal lix tenamit: —Lâex incßaß xerileb chi us lin tenamit. Xejeqßui ban ruheb ut xecanabeb chi êlelic. Joßcan nak lâin texinqßue chixtojbal êmâc xban li mâusilal xebânu.
3And I will gather the remnant of my flock out of all countries whither I have driven them, and will bring them again to their folds; and they shall be fruitful and increase.
3Ut lâin tinchßutubeb cuißchic ruheb lin tenamit li joß qßuial xeßcoleß saß eb li naßajej li xinjeqßui cuiß ruheb. Tebincßam cuißchic saß lix naßajeb ut tâcuânk ralal xcßajoleb ut teßqßuiânk cuißchic.
4And I will set up shepherds over them which shall feed them: and they shall fear no more, nor be dismayed, neither shall they be lacking, saith the LORD.
4Ut lâin tinxakabeb cuißchic laj ilol reheb. Ut incßaß chic teßxucuak chi moco teßsachekß ruheb, chan.
5Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will raise unto David a righteous Branch, and a King shall reign and prosper, and shall execute judgment and justice in the earth.
5Quixye li Kâcuaß: —Tâcuulak xkßehil nak lâin tinqßue chi yoßlâc jun li Rey tîc xchßôl. Aßan tâyoßlâk saß xyânkeb li ralal xcßajol laj David. Aßan tâcuânk xnaßleb chi taklânc. Ut târakok âtin saß tîquilal saß ruchichßochß.
6In his days Judah shall be saved, and Israel shall dwell safely: and this is his name whereby he shall be called, THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS.
6Nak cuânk saß xcuanquil, eb laj Judá teßcuânk chi mâcßaß chßaßajquilal. Eb laj Israel teßcuânk chi cßojcßo xchßôleb. Ut li rey aßan tixcßabaßin “Li Kâcuaß aj qßuehol tîquilal”.
7Therefore, behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that they shall no more say, The LORD liveth, which brought up the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt;
7Li Kâcuaß quixye: —Tâcuulak xkßehil nak eb laj Israel teßxbânu li juramento saß incßabaß lâin li yoßyôquil Dios, abanan incßaß chic teßxpatzß li naßajej Egipto, li queßisîc cuiß.
8But, The LORD liveth, which brought up and which led the seed of the house of Israel out of the north country, and from all countries whither I had driven them; and they shall dwell in their own land.
8Teßxpatzß ban li naßajej li cuan saß li norte ut eb li naßajej li queßjeqßuîc cuiß ruheb nak teßxbânu li juramento saß incßabaß lâin. Ut eb laj Israel teßcuânk cuißchic saß lix naßajeb, chan li Dios.
9Mine heart within me is broken because of the prophets; all my bones shake; I am like a drunken man, and like a man whom wine hath overcome, because of the LORD, and because of the words of his holiness.
9Laj Jeremías quixye: —Xban li cßaßru nequeßxbânu li profetas, lâin nayotßeß inchßôl chiru li Kâcuaß. Ut xban lix santil âtin, ninsicsot. Chanchan tincalâk. Chanchan nak xcuucß nabal li vino.
10For the land is full of adulterers; for because of swearing the land mourneth; the pleasant places of the wilderness are dried up, and their course is evil, and their force is not right.
10Saß li naßajej aßin nabaleb li nequeßxmux ru xsumlajiqueb. Eb li tenamit yalyôqueb xkße chixbânunquil li mâusilal. Xban nak li cuanqueb saß xcuanquil nequeßxbânu li cßaßru nequeßraj xjuneseb, joßcan nak li Kâcuaß quixtzßektâna li chßochß. Chaki chic li chßochß ut chaki chic li pachßayaß.
11For both prophet and priest are profane; yea, in my house have I found their wickedness, saith the LORD.
11Eb li profeta ut eb laj tij incßaß us xnaßlebeb. Eb aßan mâcßaß nequeßraj re. Usta saß lin templo nequeßxbânu li mâusilal, chan li Kâcuaß.
12Wherefore their way shall be unto them as slippery ways in the darkness: they shall be driven on, and fall therein: for I will bring evil upon them, even the year of their visitation, saith the LORD.
12Tâcuulak xkßehil nak lâin tinqßue li raylal saß xbêneb. Tinqßueheb chixtojbal lix mâqueb. Chanchan nak tincanabeb saß kßojyîn saß jun be yolyo ru. Chanchan nak tiquisinbilakeb nak tebinsach ruheb.
13And I have seen folly in the prophets of Samaria; they prophesied in Baal, and caused my people Israel to err.
13Lâin ninnau cßaßru li mâc nequeßxbânu lix profeteb laj Samaria. Queßâtinac saß xcßabaß li yîbanbil dios Baal. Ut aßaneb li queßqßuehoc reheb lin tenamit chi mâcobc.
14I have seen also in the prophets of Jerusalem an horrible thing: they commit adultery, and walk in lies: they strengthen also the hands of evildoers, that none doth return from his wickedness; they are all of them unto me as Sodom, and the inhabitants thereof as Gomorrah.
14Joßcaneb ajcuiß li profetas li cuanqueb Jerusalén. Kßaxal cuißchic yibru nequeßxbânu. Nequeßxmux ru lix sumlajiqueb ut nequeßticßtißic. Eb aßan nequeßoquen chirixeb li incßaß useb xnaßleb. Ut incßaß nequeßxcanab xbânunquil li mâusilal. Chicuu lâin eb aßan juntakßêteb riqßuineb laj Sodoma ut eb laj Gomorra.
15Therefore thus saith the LORD of hosts concerning the prophets; Behold, I will feed them with wormwood, and make them drink the water of gall: for from the prophets of Jerusalem is profaneness gone forth into all the land.
15Aßan aßin li quixye li Kâcuaß li nimajcual Dios chirixeb li profeta: Xban li mâc queßxbânu li profetas aj Jerusalén, xnumta li mâc saß chixjunil li naßajej aßin. Xban li mâc queßxbânu, lâin tinqßue raylal saß xbêneb. Chanchan nak tinqßue li tzacaêmk cßa chixtzacaheb ut chanchan nak tinqßue li haß li banbil xsaß chiruqßueb, chan.
16Thus saith the LORD of hosts, Hearken not unto the words of the prophets that prophesy unto you: they make you vain: they speak a vision of their own heart, and not out of the mouth of the LORD.
16Li Kâcuaß li nimajcual Dios quixye reheb li cuanqueb Jerusalén: —Mêrabi li cßaßru nequeßxye eb li profeta aßin. Junes ticßtiß nequeßxye. Yal cßoxlanbil xbaneb aßan. Mâcuaß lâin quinyehoc re.
17They say still unto them that despise me, The LORD hath said, Ye shall have peace; and they say unto every one that walketh after the imagination of his own heart, No evil shall come upon you.
17Rajlal nequeßxye reheb li xicß nequeßiloc cue, “Li Kâcuaß xye nak texcuânk saß tuktûquil usilal”. Ut nequeßxye ajcuiß reheb li nequeßxqßue xchßôl chixbânunquil li cßaßru nequeßraj xjuneseb, “Bânuhomak li cßaßru nequeraj. Mâcßaß têcßul”, chanqueb.
18For who hath stood in the counsel of the LORD, and hath perceived and heard his word? who hath marked his word, and heard it?
18Abanan, ¿Ma cuan ta biß junak naxnau cßaßru cuan saß xchßôl li Kâcuaß? ¿Ma cuan ta biß junak quiril ut quirabi nak yô chi âtinac? ¿Ma queßraj ta biß rabinquil li râtin li Kâcuaß? ¿Ma queßxbânu ta biß li cßaßru quixye?
19Behold, a whirlwind of the LORD is gone forth in fury, even a grievous whirlwind: it shall fall grievously upon the head of the wicked.
19Lix joskßil li Kâcuaß chanchan li câk-sut-ikß. Nak li Kâcuaß târisi xjoskßil saß xbêneb li nequeßxbânu li mâusilal, chanchanak li câk-sut-ikß nak tâchâlk saß xbêneb.
20The anger of the LORD shall not return, until he have executed, and till he have performed the thoughts of his heart: in the latter days ye shall consider it perfectly.
20Lix joskßil li Kâcuaß incßaß tânumekß toj tixbânu li cßaßru quixcßoxla xbânunquil. Saß eb li cutan tâchâlk têtau ru lix yâlal chi tzßakal.
21I have not sent these prophets, yet they ran: I have not spoken to them, yet they prophesied.
21Li Kâcuaß quixye: —Usta mâcuaß lâin quinxakaban reheb, abanan eb aßan queßxqßue rib chokß profeta. Lâin incßaß queßcuâtina, abanan eb aßan queßxqßue rib chi âtinac saß incßabaß.
22But if they had stood in my counsel, and had caused my people to hear my words, then they should have turned them from their evil way, and from the evil of their doings.
22Cui ta queßxnau li cßaßru cuan saß inchßôl lâin, queßxye raj li cuâtin reheb lin tenamit. Ut eb aßan queßsukßi raj cuiqßuin ut queßxcanab raj xbânunquil li mâusilal.
23Am I a God at hand, saith the LORD, and not a God afar off?
23Lâin li Kâcuaß Dios. Cuanquin yalak bar chi nachß ut chi najt.
24Can any hide himself in secret places that I shall not see him? saith the LORD. Do not I fill heaven and earth? saith the LORD.
24¿Ma naru ta biß nequeßxmuk rib li cristian chicuu? ¿Ma cuan ta biß junak naßajej li incßaß nacuil lâin? Lâin cuanquin yalak bar, joß saß choxa joß saß ruchichßochß.
25I have heard what the prophets said, that prophesy lies in my name, saying, I have dreamed, I have dreamed.
25Lâin nacuabi li cßaßru nequeßxye li profetas aj balakß. Nequeßticßtißic saß incßabaß ut nequeßxye: “Joßcaßin xinmatqßue”, chanqueb.
26How long shall this be in the heart of the prophets that prophesy lies? yea, they are prophets of the deceit of their own heart;
26¿Joß najtil chic teßxye li ticßtiß saß incßabaß, li ticßtiß li yal nequeßxcßoxla xjuneseb?
27Which think to cause my people to forget my name by their dreams which they tell every man to his neighbour, as their fathers have forgotten my name for Baal.
27¿Ma nequeßxcßoxla ta biß li profeta aßan nak tineßxtzßektâna lin tenamit riqßuin li cßaßru nequeßxye chi ribileb rib joß queßxbânu lix xeßtônil yucuaß nak queßxlokßoni li yîbanbil dios Baal?
28The prophet that hath a dream, let him tell a dream; and he that hath my word, let him speak my word faithfully. What is the chaff to the wheat? saith the LORD.
28Li ani namatqßuec chixyehak cßaßru lix matcß. Ut li ani naxnau li cuâtin, chixyehak resil chi anchal xchßôl. ¿Ma kßaxal us ta biß li qßuim chiru li trigo?
29Is not my word like as a fire? saith the LORD; and like a hammer that breaketh the rock in pieces?
29¿Ma mâcuaß ta biß chanchan li xam li cuâtin? Li cuâtin chanchan li martillo li naxjori li pec li naxten.
30Therefore, behold, I am against the prophets, saith the LORD, that steal my words every one from his neighbour.
30Yô injoskßil saß xbêneb li profetas li nequeßâtinac chi ribileb rib ut nequeßxye nak lâin xinyehoc re li cßaßru nequeßxye.
31Behold, I am against the prophets, saith the LORD, that use their tongues, and say, He saith.
31Yô injoskßil saß xbêneb li nequeßâtinac chi nabal ut nequeßxye nak lâin xinyehoc re li cßaßru nequeßxye.
32Behold, I am against them that prophesy false dreams, saith the LORD, and do tell them, and cause my people to err by their lies, and by their lightness; yet I sent them not, nor commanded them: therefore they shall not profit this people at all, saith the LORD.
32Yô injoskßil saß xbêneb li nequeßâtinac joß profeta ut nequeßxye lix matqßueb li mâcßaß nequeßoc cuiß. Nequeßxqßue lin tenamit chi mâcobc riqßuin li ticßtiß nequeßxye. Mâcuaß lâin xinâtinac riqßuineb chi moco xinxakabeb chokß profeta. Incßaß nequeßxtenkßaheb lin tenamit, chan li Kâcuaß.
33And when this people, or the prophet, or a priest, shall ask thee, saying, What is the burden of the LORD? thou shalt then say unto them, What burden? I will even forsake you, saith the LORD.
33At Jeremías, cui eb lin tenamit teßpatzßok âcue, malaj ut junak profeta malaj ut aj tij, ut teßxye âcue, “¿Cßaßru xye li Kâcuaß anakcuan?” tâye reheb, “Li cßaßru xye li Kâcuaß, aßan nak lâex tzßektânanbilex chic.”
34And as for the prophet, and the priest, and the people, that shall say, The burden of the LORD, I will even punish that man and his house.
34Cui junak profeta malaj ut junak laj tij malaj ut eb li tenamit teßxye, “Joßcaßin xye li Kâcuaß” chaßakeb, lâin tinqßueheb chixtojbal xmâqueb, joß eb ajcuiß li ralal xcßajol.
35Thus shall ye say every one to his neighbour, and every one to his brother, What hath the LORD answered? and, What hath the LORD spoken?
35Li junjûnk tixpatzß reheb li ras ut rîtzßin ut tixpatzß reheb li ramîg cßaßru quixye li Kâcuaß. ¿Cßaßru catxsume cuiß li Kâcuaß? chaßakeb.
36And the burden of the LORD shall ye mention no more: for every man's word shall be his burden; for ye have perverted the words of the living God, of the LORD of hosts our God.
36Incßaß chic tâjulticokß reheb xyebal, “Aßin râtin li Kâcuaß” xban nak cui teßxbânu aßan, lâin tinsukßisi li cuâtin chokß raylal chokß reheb. Eb li tenamit queßxjal ru li cuâtin lâin lix Dioseb laj Israel. Nim incuanquil ut yoßyôquin.
37Thus shalt thou say to the prophet, What hath the LORD answered thee? and, What hath the LORD spoken?
37At Jeremías, lâat tâpatzß reheb li profeta cßaßru quinye reheb ut chanru quinsumeheb.
38But since ye say, The burden of the LORD; therefore thus saith the LORD; Because ye say this word, The burden of the LORD, and I have sent unto you, saying, Ye shall not say, The burden of the LORD;
38Cui nequeßxkßet li cuâtin ut nequeßxye nak aßan li râtin li Dios li yôqueb chixyebal, cui teßxye cuißchic “Aßin râtin li Kâcuaß” ut lâin ac xinye reheb nak incßaß teßxye chi joßcan,
39Therefore, behold, I, even I, will utterly forget you, and I will forsake you, and the city that I gave you and your fathers, and cast you out of my presence:
39lâat tâye reheb nak lâin tintzßektânaheb ut tintzßektâna ajcuiß li tenamit li xinqßue reheb aßan ut reheb ajcuiß lix xeßtônil yucuaß.Tincubsi xcuanquileb chi junaj cua ut tincßut xxutâneb chi junelic. Ut mâ jokße tâsachk saß xchßôleb, chan li Dios.
40And I will bring an everlasting reproach upon you, and a perpetual shame, which shall not be forgotten.
40Tincubsi xcuanquileb chi junaj cua ut tincßut xxutâneb chi junelic. Ut mâ jokße tâsachk saß xchßôleb, chan li Dios.
