Matthew

25

1Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom.
1Lix nimajcual cuanquilal li Dios, a'an chanchan li quic'ulman sa' jun li sumlâc. Li lajêb chi tuk' ix que'xc'am lix candil ut côeb sa' jun li sumlâc chixc'ulbal li bêlomej.
2And five of them were wise, and five were foolish.
2b cuanqueb xna'leb ut li ôb chic mâc'a' xna'lebeb.
3They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them:
3Li ôbeb li mâc'a'eb xna'leb inc'a' que'xcauresi rib chi us. Que'xc'am lix candil, abanan inc'a' que'xc'am xya'al lix candil.
4But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.
4Ut li cuanqueb xna'lebeb que'xcauresi rib chi us, que'xc'am lix candil ut que'xc'am ajcui' lix ya'al.
5While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept.
5Ut nak quibay chak li bêlomej, neque'xîkan chixjunileb toj retal quicube xcuaraheb.
6And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him.
6Ut sa' tuktu k'ojyîn, que'rabi nak yôqueb chixjapbal reheb li tenamit chixyebal: -Cue' chak li bêlomej. Ayukex, c'ulumak chak, chanqueb.
7Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps.
7Ut li lajêb chi tuk' ix que'aj ru ut que'oc xyîbanquil lix candil.
8And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out.
8Ut li ôb li mâc'a'eb xna'leb que'xye reheb li ôb chic li cuanqueb xna'leb: -Jec'omak bayak xya'al li kaxam xban nak chupc re li kacandil, chanqueb.
9But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves.
9Aban li cuanqueb xna'leb que'xye: -Inc'a' naru. Inc'a' tâtz'aklok li xya'al li ke cui takaq'ue êre lâex. Ayukex riq'uineb laj c'ay. Lok'omak chak êre, chanqueb reheb.
10And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut.
10Ut cuanqueb chak chixlok'bal lix ya'al lix candil nak col-êlk li bêlomej. Ut li ôb chic li cuanqueb xya'al lix candil que'oc rochben sa' li cab. Ut quitz'ape' li oquebâl.
11Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us.
11Ut nak que'suk'i chak li ôb chi tuk' ix chixlok'bal xya'al lix xameb, que'oc chibokoc sa' li oquebâl ut que'xye: -Kâcua', te li cab chiku, chanqueb.
12But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not.
12Ut li bêlomej quichak'oc ut quixye reheb: -Relic chi yâl tinye êre inc'a' ninnau êru.-
13Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.
13Jo'can nak lâin ninye êre: Yo'on cuânkex xban nak inc'a' nequenau li cutan chi moco li hônal jok'e tolinêlk lâin li C'ajolbej.
14For the kingdom of heaven is as a man travelling into a far country, who called his own servants, and delivered unto them his goods.
14Ut lix nimajcual cuanquilal li Dios, a'an chanchan jun li cuînk li ac xic re chi najt. Quixbokeb lix môs riq'uin ut quixk'axtesi lix tumin sa' ruk'eb lix môs.
15And unto one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one; to every man according to his several ability; and straightway took his journey.
15Quixq'ue ôb mil pês re li jun, cuib mil re li jun chic ut quixq'ue jun mil re li jun chic. Quixq'ue re li junjûnk a' yal chanru lix sêbal xch'ôl chi rilbal. Tojo'nak cô chi najt.
16Then he that had received the five talents went and traded with the same, and made them other five talents.
16Ut li môs li quic'uluc re li ôb mil pês, qui-oc chi yacoc chiru ut quirêchani ôb mil pês chic sa' xbên li quixc'ul.
17And likewise he that had received two, he also gained other two.
17Ut jo'can cui'chic quixbânu li quic'uluc re li cuib mil pês. Ut quirêchani cuib mil pês chic sa' xbên li quixc'ul.
18But he that had received one went and digged in the earth, and hid his lord's money.
18A'ut li môs li quic'uluc re li jun mil pês, cô ut quixbec jun li jul sa' ch'och'. Ut aran quixmuk li jun mil pês li quiq'uehe' re xban lix patrón.
19After a long time the lord of those servants cometh, and reckoneth with them.
19Ut najterak chic, quic'ulun lix patroneb laj c'anjel a'an. Quixbokeb lix môs chixk'axtesinquil xcuênteb.
20And so he that had received five talents came and brought other five talents, saying, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me five talents: behold, I have gained beside them five talents more.
20Ut quicuulac li môs li quic'uluc re li ôb mil pês. Ut quixc'am chak li ôb mil li quixc'ul ut quixc'am chak ajcui' li ôb mil chic li xbên li quirêchani, ut quixye: -Kâcua', ôb mil pês caq'ue cue. Cuaye' lâ tumin ut ôb mil chic xcuêchani chak sa' xbên li caq'ue cue, chan.
21His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.
21Ut lix patrón quixye re: -K'axal us xabânu. Lâat châbilat ut tz'akalat aj c'anjel. Sa' xbên li ca'ch'in xink'axtesi âcue, châbil xat-el. Anakcuan tink'axtesi chic nabal âcue. Chisahok' sa' lâ ch'ôl xban nak tattz'akônk ajcui' riq'uin li sahil ch'ôlejil li cuan cuiq'uin lâin, chan.
22He also that had received two talents came and said, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me two talents: behold, I have gained two other talents beside them.
22Ut li môs li quic'uluc re li cuib mil pês quicuulac ut quixye: -Kâcua', caq'ue cue cuib mil pês ut cuib mil pês chic xcuêchani chak sa' xbên, chan.
23His lord said unto him, Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.
23Ut lix patrón quixye re: -Us xabânu. Châbilat aj c'anjel. Riq'uin li ca'ch'in xinq'ue âcue, us xat-el. Anakcuan tink'axtesi âcue nabal chic. Chisahok' sa' lâ ch'ôl xban nak tattz'akônk ajcui' riq'uin li sahil ch'ôlejil li cuan cuiq'uin lâin, chan.
24Then he which had received the one talent came and said, Lord, I knew thee that thou art an hard man, reaping where thou hast not sown, and gathering where thou hast not strawed:
24Ut quicuulac ajcui' li jun chic li quic'uluc re li jun mil pês ut quixye re lix patrón: -Kâcua', ninnau nak josk'at lâat. Nacatk'oloc bar inc'a' nacat-au cui', ut nacatxococ bar cui' inc'a' nacatpajin iyaj.
25And I was afraid, and went and hid thy talent in the earth: lo, there thou hast that is thine.
25Jo'can nak quinxucuac ut côin ut coxinmuk sa' ch'och' li caq'ue cue. Cue' li jun mil pês li caq'ue cue, chan.
26His lord answered and said unto him, Thou wicked and slothful servant, thou knewest that I reap where I sowed not, and gather where I have not strawed:
26Ut li patrón quijosk'o' ut quixye re: -Inc'a' us lâ na'leb. Inc'a' nacacuaj trabajic. Xanau nak nink'oloc bar inc'a' nin-au cui'. Ut xanau nak ninxococ bar inc'a' ninpajin cui' iyaj.
27Thou oughtest therefore to have put my money to the exchangers, and then at my coming I should have received mine own with usury.
27Jo'can ut tento nak xaq'ue raj lin tumin reheb laj to' tumin. Ut sa' inc'ulunic, xinc'ul raj ral lin tumin rochben raj li xaq'ue chi to', chan.
28Take therefore the talent from him, and give it unto him which hath ten talents.
28Ut li patrón quixye reheb lix môs li cuanqueb aran: -Mak'omak chiru li jun mil pês ut q'uehomak re li ani aj iq'uin cuan li lajêb mil pês.
29For unto every one that hath shall be given, and he shall have abundance: but from him that hath not shall be taken away even that which he hath.
29Chixjunil li ani cuan nabal reheb, mas cui'chic tâq'uemânk re ut k'axal cui'chic nabal tâcuânk re. Ut li ani ca'ch'in ajcui' cuan re, tâmak'mânk chiru li jo' q'uial cuan re.
30And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
30Ut laj c'anjel a'in, mâc'a' na-oc cui'. Isihomak arin ut q'uehomak sa' k'ojyîn. Aran tâcuânk li yâbac ut li c'uxuxînc ruch e, chan.
31When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:
31Nak tinchâlk lâin li C'ajolbej riq'uin xnimal inlok'al cuochbenakeb chak chixjunileb li ángel, tojo'nak toxinc'ojlâk sa' lin c'ojaribâl retalil xnimal incuanquil chi rakoc âtin.
32And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats:
32Ut te'ch'utubâk chicuu chixjunil xtêpaleb li tenamit li cuanqueb sa' ruchich'och'. Tojo'nak tinsiq'ueb ru ut tinq'ueheb sa' cuib ch'ûtal jo' nak li pastor narisiheb lix carner sa' xyânkeb li chibât.
33And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.
33Ut tinq'ueheb lin carner sa' lin nim uk' ut eb li chibât tinq'ue sa' intz'e.
34Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:
34Ut lâin li Rey tinye reheb li cuanqueb sa' lin nim: -Osobtesinbilex xban lin Yucua'. Êchanihomak li nimajcual cuanquilal cauresinbil chok' êre chalen chak sa' xticlajic li ruchich'och'.
35For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in:
35Têrêchani xban nak quintz'oca chak ut quinêq'ue chi cua'ac. Quichakic cue ut quinêq'ue chi uc'ac. Quinsic' cuochochnal ut quinêc'ul êriq'uin.
36Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.
36Nak mâc'a' cuak', queq'ue cuak'. Nak quinyajer, quinêtenk'a. Nak quincuan sa' tz'alam, coxinêril chak.
37Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink?
37Ut eb li tîqueb xch'ôl te'xye cue: -Kâcua', ¿jok'e ta bi' catkil chi tattz'ocâk ut jok'e ta bi' catkaq'ue chi cua'ac? ¿Jok'e ta bi' catkil chi tâchakik âcue ut jok'e ta bi' catkaq'ue chi uc'ac? cha'keb cue.
38When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee?
38¿Jok'e ta bi' casic' âcuochochnal ut catkac'ul ta kiq'uin? ¿Jok'e ta bi' catkil chi mâc'a' âcuak' ut quikaq'ue ta âcuak'?
39Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?
39¿Jok'e ta bi' catkil chi yajat ut catkatenk'a ta? ¿Jok'e catcuan sa' tz'alam ut coxatkil ta chak? cha'keb.
40And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.
40Ut lâin tinchak'ok ut tinye reheb: -Relic chi yâl tinye êre, cui quebânu a'in re junak li neque'pâban cue, usta cubenak xcuanquil, cue ajcui' lâin quebânu chak.
41Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:
41Tojo'nak lâin li Rey tinye reheb li cuanqueb sa' lin tz'e: -Elenkex chicuu. Tz'ektânanbilex sa' li xam li mâ jok'e tâchupk c'ûbanbil chak chok' re laj tza ut reheb ajcui' lix ángel.
42For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink:
42Xban nak lâin quintz'oca chak ut inc'a' quinêq'ue chi cua'ac. Quichakic chak cue ut inc'a' quinêq'ue chi uc'ac.
43I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not.
43Quinsic' li cuochochnal ut inc'a' quinêc'ul êriq'uin. Mâc'a' cuak' ut inc'a' queq'ue cuak'. Quinyajer ut inc'a' quinêtenk'a. Quincuan chi prêxil ut inc'a' coxinêril chak, cha'kin reheb.
44Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee?
¿Jok'e catkil chi mâc'a' lâ cuak' malaj yajat, malaj cuancat sa' tz'alam ut inc'a' catkatenk'a? cha'keb.
45Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me.
45Ut lâin li Rey tinchak'ok ut tinye reheb: -Relic chi yâl tinye êre, xban nak inc'a' quetenk'aheb li neque'pâban cue li mâc'a'eb xcuanquil, inc'a' ajcui' quinêtenk'a lâin, cha'kin reheb.Ut eb a'an te'xic sa' li tojba mâc chi junelic. Abanan li tîqueb xch'ôl cuânkeb xyu'am chi junelic.
46And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.
46Ut eb a'an te'xic sa' li tojba mâc chi junelic. Abanan li tîqueb xch'ôl cuânkeb xyu'am chi junelic.
