¹And the LORD spake unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying,

²This is the ordinance of the law which the LORD hath commanded, saying, Speak unto the children of Israel, that they bring thee a red heifer without spot, wherein is no blemish, and upon which never came yoke:

²—Aßin jun li chakßrab li yôquin chixtenebanquil saß xbêneb laj Israel re teßxbânu. Têye reheb laj Israel chi joßcaßin. Cßamomak chak jun li bâc cak rix ut mâcßaß rêcß, li mâ jun sut qßuebil yugo chirix xcux re tâtrabajik.

³And ye shall give her unto Eleazar the priest, that he may bring her forth without the camp, and one shall slay her before his face:

³Li bâc tâcßamekß riqßuin laj Eleazar laj tij. Ut aßan tixcßam chirix lix naßaj lix muhebâleb ut aran tâcamsîk chiru laj Eleazar.

⁴And Eleazar the priest shall take of her blood with his finger, and sprinkle of her blood directly before the tabernacle of the congregation seven times:

⁴Ut laj Eleazar tixchap caßchßinak lix quiqßuel ut riqßuin li rußuj rukß tixrach li quicß cuukub sut saß xjayal li tabernáculo.

⁵And one shall burn the heifer in his sight; her skin, and her flesh, and her blood, with her dung, shall he burn:

⁵Tâcßatekß chiru laj tij chixjunil li cuacax, joß lix tzßûmal, lix tibel, lix quiqßuel ut lix cßamcßot.

⁶And the priest shall take cedar wood, and hyssop, and scarlet, and cast it into the midst of the burning of the heifer.

⁶Ut laj tij tixcut saß xbên li cuacax li yô chi cßatc caßchßin li cheß chacalteß, jun li rukß li pim hisopo ut caßchßin li caki tßicr lana.

⁷Then the priest shall wash his clothes, and he shall bathe his flesh in water, and afterward he shall come into the camp, and the priest shall be unclean until the even.

⁷Chirix aßan laj tij tixpuchß li rakß ut tâatînk. Ut tâoc cuißchic saß li naßajej li cuan cuiß lix muhebâleb. Abanan muxbilak ru nak toj tâecuûk.

⁸And he that burneth her shall wash his clothes in water, and bathe his flesh in water, and shall be unclean until the even.

⁸Joßcan ajcuiß ani tâcßatok re li cuacax, tento nak tixpuchß li rakß ut tâatînk. Ut aßan muxbilak ajcuiß ru toj tâecuûk.

⁹And a man that is clean shall gather up the ashes of the heifer, and lay them up without the camp in a clean place, and it shall be kept for the congregation of the children of Israel for a water of separation: it is a purification for sin.

⁹Ut junak li cuînk li incßaß muxbil ru tixxoc lix chahil li cuacax ut tixcanab saß junak li naßajej li incßaß muxbil ru chirix li naßajej li cuanqueb cuiß lix muhebâleb. Eb laj Israel teßxxoc li cha re nak teßxyîb li haß li tâcßanjelak re xsantobresinquileb.

¹⁰And he that gathereth the ashes of the heifer shall wash his clothes, and be unclean until the even: and it shall be unto the children of Israel, and unto the stranger that sojourneth among them, for a statute for ever.

¹⁰Tento nak tixpuchß li rakß li cuînk li tâxocok re lix chahil li cuacax. Ut muxbilak ru li cuînk aßan toj tâoc li kßojyîn. Aßin jun li chakßrab li têbânu chalen anakcuan ut chi junelic, lâex aj Israel, joß eb ajcuiß li jalan xtenamiteb li cuanqueb saß êyânk.

¹¹He that toucheth the dead body of any man shall be unclean seven days.

¹¹Li ani tixchßeß junak camenak muxbil ru tâcanâk chiru cuukub cutan.

¹²He shall purify himself with it on the third day, and on the seventh day he shall be clean: but if he purify not himself the third day, then the seventh day he shall not be clean.

¹²Saß li rox li cutan ut saß li xcuuk li cutan tento nak tixsantobresi rib riqßuin li haß re santobresînc. Abanan cui incßaß naxsantobresi rib saß li rox cutan ut saß li xcuuk li cutan, muxbilak ajcuiß ru tâcanâk.

¹³Whosoever toucheth the dead body of any man that is dead, and purifieth not himself, defileth the tabernacle of the LORD; and that soul shall be cut off from Israel: because the water of separation was not sprinkled upon him, he shall be unclean; his uncleanness is yet upon him.

¹³Yalak ani li tâchßeßok re junak camenak ut incßaß tixsantobresi rib, li jun aßan tixmux ru lix tabernáculo li Kâcuaß. Tento nak tâisîk saß xyânkeb laj Israel. Muxbil ru tâcanâk xban nak incßaß quirachrachîc li haß saß xbên re santobresîc.

¹⁴This is the law, when a man dieth in a tent: all that come into the tent, and all that is in the tent, shall be unclean seven days.

¹⁴Aßin li chakßrab tinqßue chirixeb li cuanqueb saß li muhebâl bar cuiß nacam junak: muxbilakeb ru li cuanqueb saß li muhebâl ut muxbilakeb ru li ani teßoc saß li muhebâl aßan. Muxbilak ruheb chiru cuukub cutan.

¹⁵And every open vessel, which hath no covering bound upon it, is unclean.

¹⁵Ut chixjunil li cuc, malaj ut li ucßal li mâcßaß xtzßapbal re ut li incßaß tzßaptzßo chi us muxbileb ru.

¹⁶And whosoever toucheth one that is slain with a sword in the open fields, or a dead body, or a bone of a man, or a grave, shall be unclean seven days.

¹⁶Ut muxbilak ajcuiß ru li ani tâchßeßok re junak camenak saß cßalebâl, usta quicamsîc chi chßîchß, malaj ut yal nacam chi joßcan. Ut muxbilak ru li ani tâchßeßok re xbakel li camenak malaj ut junak li muklebâl. Muxbil ru tâcanâk chiru cuukub cutan.

¹⁷And for an unclean person they shall take of the ashes of the burnt heifer of purification for sin, and running water shall be put thereto in a vessel:

¹⁷Joßcaßin nak tâsantobresîk li ani tixmux rib. Tâqßuehekß caßchßinak lix chahil li cuacax li cak rix li quicßateß re xtojbal rix li mâc saß junak ucßal rochben caßchßinak li haß li qui-isîc saß junak li yußam haß.

¹⁸And a clean person shall take hyssop, and dip it in the water, and sprinkle it upon the tent, and upon all the vessels, and upon the persons that were there, and upon him that touched a bone, or one slain, or one dead, or a grave:

¹⁸Chirix aßan junak li cuînk li incßaß muxbil ru tixchap jun li rukß cheß hisopo ut tixtzßa saß li haß. Ut riqßuin li rukß li hisopo tixrachrachi li haß chiru li muhebâl ut chiruheb chixjunil li cßaßak re ru cuan saß li muhebâl. Ut tixrachrachi ajcuiß saß xbêneb li cristian li cuanqueb aran. Tento nak târachrachîk li haß saß xbêneb li queßchßeßoc re xbakel li camenak, malaj ut li muklebâl, malaj ut junak li camenak li quicamsîc chi chßîchß, malaj ut quicam yal chi joßcan.

¹⁹And the clean person shall sprinkle upon the unclean on the third day, and on the seventh day: and on the seventh day he shall purify himself, and wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and shall be clean at even.

¹⁹Li cuînk li incßaß muxbil ru tixrachrachi li haß saß xbên li muxbil ru saß li rox cutan ut saß li xcuuk li cutan. Saß li xcuuk li cutan tâsantobresîk li muxbil ru. Tento nak tixpuchß li rakß ut tâatînk re nak santobresinbilak chic nak tâoc li kßojyîn.

²⁰But the man that shall be unclean, and shall not purify himself, that soul shall be cut off from among the congregation, because he hath defiled the sanctuary of the LORD: the water of separation hath not been sprinkled upon him; he is unclean.

²⁰Abanan cui incßaß tixsantobresi rib junak li muxbil ru, tento nak li jun aßan tâisîk saß xyânkeb laj Israel xban nak quixmux ru lix tabernáculo li Kâcuaß. Muxbil ru tâcanâk xban nak incßaß quirachrachîc li haß saß xbên re santobresîc.

²¹And it shall be a perpetual statute unto them, that he that sprinkleth the water of separation shall wash his clothes; and he that toucheth the water of separation shall be unclean until even.

²¹Aßin jun li chakßrab tento têbânu chalen anakcuan ut chi junelic. Ut li ani narachrachin li haß re santobresîc, tento nak tixpuchß li rakß. Ut li ani tâchßeßok re li haß re santobresîc muxbilak chic ru tâcanâk toj tâecuûk.Li cßaßak re ru tâchßeßekß xban junak cristian muxbil ru, muxbilak chic ru tâcanâk toj tâecuûk.

²²And whatsoever the unclean person toucheth shall be unclean; and the soul that toucheth it shall be unclean until even.
