14

1Every wise woman buildeth her house: but the foolish plucketh it down with her hands.

2He that walketh in his uprightness feareth the LORD: but he that is perverse in his ways despiseth him.
2Li ani tîc xyußam naxxucua ru li Kâcuaß. Ut eb li incßaß tîqueb xchßôl nequeßxtzßektâna li Kâcuaß.
3In the mouth of the foolish is a rod of pride: but the lips of the wise shall preserve them.
3Li ani mâcßaß xnaßleb naxbok raylal saß xbên xban nak naxnimobresi rib riqßuin li cßaßru naxye. Abanan li cuan xnaßleb naxcol rix lix yußam xban nak naxcßoxla chi us li cßaßru naxye.
4Where no oxen are, the crib is clean: but much increase is by the strength of the ox.
4Cui mâcßaßeb li bôyx re teßcßanjelak mâcßaßak ajcuiß li acuîmk xban nak riqßuin lix metzßêuheb li bôyx nacßanjelaman li chßochß ut nabal li acuîmk na-el.
5A faithful witness will not lie: but a false witness will utter lies.
5Li ani châbil naxye li yâl chirix li ras rîtzßin. Abanan li incßaß châbil incßaß naxye li yâl. Naxye ban li ticßtiß.
6A scorner seeketh wisdom, and findeth it not: but knowledge is easy unto him that understandeth.
6Li ani incßaß naxtau xyâlal naxsicß lix naßleb, abanan incßaß naxtau. Li ani sêb xchßôl moco chßaßaj ta chokß re xtaubal xnaßleb.
7Go from the presence of a foolish man, when thou perceivest not in him the lips of knowledge.
7Isihomak êrib riqßuineb li mâcßaßeb xnaßleb xban nak riqßuineb aßan incßaß têtau li châbil naßleb.
8The wisdom of the prudent is to understand his way: but the folly of fools is deceit.
8Li ani sêb xchßôl cuan xnaßleb chixqßuebal retal chanru lix yußam. Abanan li mâcßaßeb xnaßleb incßaß nequeßxnau xqßuebal retal chanru lix yußameb. Xjuneseb nequeßxbalakßi rib.
9Fools make a mock at sin: but among the righteous there is favour.
9Li mâcßaßeb xnaßleb mâcßaß nequeßraj re nak nequeßxbânu li mâusilal. Abanan eb li châbileb nasahoß saß xchßôleb chixbânunquil li us.
10The heart knoweth his own bitterness; and a stranger doth not intermeddle with his joy.
10Li junjûnk naxnau li rahil chßôlej li cuan saß xchßôl. Ut mâ ani tâtzßakônk riqßuin xsahil xchßôl li ani sa saß xchßôl.
11The house of the wicked shall be overthrown: but the tabernacle of the upright shall flourish.
11Eb li incßaß useb xnaßleb teßsachekß ru lix jun cablaleb. Abanan lix jun cablaleb li châbileb, us tâêlk.
12There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.
12Cuanqueb li nequeßxcßoxla nak us li nequeßxbânu xjuneseb, abanan li cßaßru nequeßxbânu, aßan ajcuiß li nacßamoc chak re li câmc saß xbêneb.
13Even in laughter the heart is sorrowful; and the end of that mirth is heaviness.
13Cuanqueb li nequeßseßec usta raheb saß xchßôleb. Ut cuan nak li sahil chßôlej nasukßi chokß rahil chßôlej chokß reheb.
14The backslider in heart shall be filled with his own ways: and a good man shall be satisfied from himself.
14Li mâcßaßeb xnaßleb cßojcßôqueb xchßôl riqßuin li incßaß us nequeßxbânu. Ut li châbileb saheb saß xchßôl riqßuin li us nequeßxbânu.
15The simple believeth every word: but the prudent man looketh well to his going.
15Li incßaß naxnau cßoxlac naxpâb chixjunil li nayeheß re. Abanan li naxnau cßoxlac naxqßue retal chi us li cßaßru naxbânu.
16A wise man feareth, and departeth from evil: but the fool rageth, and is confident.
16Li ani cuan xnaßleb naxucuac. Joßcan nak incßaß naxbânu li mâusilal. Abanan li mâcßaß xnaßleb nabal li mâusilal naxbânu ut incßaß naxucuac.
17He that is soon angry dealeth foolishly: and a man of wicked devices is hated.
17Li ani najoskßoß saß junpât incßaß naxcßoxla chi us li cßaßru naxbânu. Ut li ani incßaß us xnaßleb xicß tâilekß.
18The simple inherit folly: but the prudent are crowned with knowledge.
18Eb li mâcßaßeb xnaßleb junelic mâcßaßakeb xnaßleb. Ut li nequeßxnau cßoxlac teßxcßul xtzßakob lix naßlebeb.
19The evil bow before the good; and the wicked at the gates of the righteous.
19Eb li incßaß useb xnaßleb teßxcubsi ribeb chiruheb li châbileb xnaßleb ut teßxtzßâma usilal chiruheb.
20The poor is hated even of his own neighbour: but the rich hath many friends.
20Eb li nebaß tzßektânanbileb xbaneb li ramîg, usta ramîgueb. Abanan eb li biom nabal li ramîgueb.
21He that despiseth his neighbour sinneth: but he that hath mercy on the poor, happy is he.
21Li ani naxtzßektâna li ras rîtzßin namâcob. Us xak re li ani naril xtokßobâl ru li nebaß.
22Do they not err that devise evil? but mercy and truth shall be to them that devise good.
22Li ani junes li mâusilal naxcßoxla xbânunquil naxsach rib xjunes. Abanan eb li nequeßxbânu li us, teßrahekß ut teßuxtânâk ruheb.
23In all labour there is profit: but the talk of the lips tendeth only to penury.
23Li ani nacßanjelac naru nacuan cßaßru re. Abanan li ani junes âtinac naxbânu cuan saß nebaßil.
24The crown of the wise is their riches: but the foolishness of fools is folly.
24Lix lokßaleb li sêbeb xchßôl, aßan lix naßlebeb. Ut eb li mâcßaßeb xnaßleb, naßnôqueb ru xban lix tôntileb.
25A true witness delivereth souls: but a deceitful witness speaketh lies.
25Li ani châbil naxye li yâl chirixeb li ras rîtzßin ut naxcol rix lix yußameb. Abanan li ani nabalakßic incßaß naxye li yâl.
26In the fear of the LORD is strong confidence: and his children shall have a place of refuge.
26Li ani naxxucua ru li Kâcuaß Dios cau xchßôl ut eb li ralal xcßajol cuan cßaßru nequeßroybeni.
27The fear of the LORD is a fountain of life, to depart from the snares of death.
27Li ani naxxucua ru li Dios naxtau xyußam chi junelic ut nacoleß chiru lix cuanquil li câmc.
28In the multitude of people is the king's honour: but in the want of people is the destruction of the prince.
28Junak li rey li nataklan saß xbên nabal chi tenamit naqßueheß xlokßal. Abanan cui incßaß qßui li tenamit li nataklan cuiß moco nim ta xcuanquil.
29He that is slow to wrath is of great understanding: but he that is hasty of spirit exalteth folly.

30A sound heart is the life of the flesh: but envy the rottenness of the bones.
30Li ani mâcßaß naxcßoxla sa cuan lix yußam ut cuan xcacuilal. Abanan li ani nacakalin incßaß nacuan chi sa saß xchßôl. Ut naxqßue ajcuiß xyajel lix tibel.
31He that oppresseth the poor reproacheth his Maker: but he that honoureth him hath mercy on the poor.
31Li ani naxbânu raylal re li nebaß, xicß naril li Dios li quiyîban re. Abanan li ani natokßoban ru li nebaß, aßan naxqßue xlokßal li Dios.
32The wicked is driven away in his wickedness: but the righteous hath hope in his death.
32Li ani incßaß useb xnaßleb, aß ajcuiß lix mâusilaleb nasachoc reheb. Ut eb li tîc xchßôleb incßaß nequeßxxucua ru li câmc xban nak cuan li cßaßru nequeßroybeni.
33Wisdom resteth in the heart of him that hath understanding: but that which is in the midst of fools is made known.
33Li ani nequeßxnau cßoxlac cuan xnaßlebeb. Ut eb li incßaß nequeßxnau cßoxlac mâcßaß li châbil naßleb riqßuineb.
34Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people.
34Junak li tenamit li cuan saß tîquilal cuan xlokßal. Ut li tenamit li incßaß nacuan saß tîquilal xutânal na-el.Junak li rey nasahoß xchßôl riqßuin li môs li châbil xnaßleb. Abanan najoskßoß riqßuin li môs li yibru xnaßleb.
35The king's favour is toward a wise servant: but his wrath is against him that causeth shame.
