139

1O lord, thou hast searched me, and known me.
1At Kâcuaß, lâat xanau chanru innaßleb. Lâat xanau chanru lin cßaßux.
2Thou knowest my downsitting and mine uprising, thou understandest my thought afar off.
2Lâat nacacuil chixjunil li ninbânu. Usta najt cuanquin, lâat nacanau chixjunil li yôquin chixcßoxlanquil.
3Thou compassest my path and my lying down, and art acquainted with all my ways.
3Lâat nacanau jokße nincßanjelac ut jokße ninhilan. Nacaqßue retal chixjunil li cßaßru ninbânu.
4For there is not a word in my tongue, but, lo, O LORD, thou knowest it altogether.
4Toj mâjiß na-el chi xtzßûmal cue li cuâtin, ac xanau chixjunil li cßaßru tinye.
5Thou hast beset me behind and before, and laid thine hand upon me.
5Lâat junelic cuancat cuiqßuin. Cuancat chicuix ut cuancat chicuu ut cuan lâ cuukß saß inbên.
6Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is high, I cannot attain unto it.
6Cßajoß lâ naßleb ut kßaxal lokß xcßoxlanquil. Mâ jokße tintau ru chixjunil li nacacßoxla lâat.
7Whither shall I go from thy spirit? or whither shall I flee from thy presence?
7At Kâcuaß, ¿ma târûk ta biß tinxic chi najt chiru lâ Santil Musikß? ¿Ma târûk ta biß tinêlelik châcuu lâat?
8If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there.
8Cui tinxic saß choxa, aran cuancat lâat. Ut cui tinxic saß xnaßajeb li camenak aran ajcuiß cuancat chak lâat. Yalak bar tinxic, lâat cuânkat aran.
9If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea;
9Cui ta târûk tinye raj re li ikß nak tinixcßam toj jun pacßal li palau, aran ajcuiß cuancat lâat.
10Even there shall thy hand lead me, and thy right hand shall hold me.
10Riqßuin lâ nim ukß tinâchßilo ut tinâtenkßa.
11If I say, Surely the darkness shall cover me; even the night shall be light about me.
11Ut cui tinyal xmukbal cuib saß li kßojyîn, mâmin târûk. Tinâcuil ajcuiß xban nak mâcßaß kßojyîn châcuu.
12Yea, the darkness hideth not from thee; but the night shineth as the day: the darkness and the light are both alike to thee.
12Châcuu lâat mâcßaß kßojyîn. Chixjunil cutan saken châcuu. Juntakßêt li kßojyîn ut li cutan châcuu lâat.
13For thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast covered me in my mother's womb.
13Lâat xinâyoßobtesi. Xaqßue inyußam nak toj mâjiß ninyoßla saß ruchichßochß.
14I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.
14Tatinlokßoni riqßuin chixjunil li xabânu nak xinâyoßobtesi. Cßajoß xchakßal ru chixjunil li xabânu. Nasach inchßôl chirilbal.
15My substance was not hid from thee, when I was made in secret, and curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth.
15Lâat ac xanau nak cuanquin nak toj cuanquin riqßuin lin naß. Moco mukmûquin ta châcuu usta toj mâjiß ninyoßla saß ruchichßochß.
16Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect; and in thy book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them.
16Chalen nak toj mâjiß ninyoßla, ac chßolchßo châcuu chanru lin yußam. Ac tzßîbanbil retalil âban jokße tinyoßlâk ut jokße tincâmk.
17How precious also are thy thoughts unto me, O God! how great is the sum of them!
17At inDios, cßajoß nak nacatcßoxlac chicuix ut kßaxal lokß nak niquinâcßoxla.
18If I should count them, they are more in number than the sand: when I awake, I am still with thee.
18Incßaß naru rajlanquil jarub sut nacaqßue âcßaßux chicuix, joß li cocß ru li samaib incßaß naru rajlanquil. Nak na-aj cuu toj yôcat ajcuiß chi cßoxlac chicuix.
19Surely thou wilt slay the wicked, O God: depart from me therefore, ye bloody men.
19At inDios, chasacheb taxak ruheb li incßaß useb xnaßleb, ut cheßxcanabak ta inchßißchßißinquil eb laj camsinel.
20For they speak against thee wickedly, and thine enemies take thy name in vain.
20Eb li cuînk aßan nacateßxmajecua ut nequeßxpatzß lâ cßabaß chi mâcßaß rajbal.
21Do not I hate them, O LORD, that hate thee? and am not I grieved with those that rise up against thee?
21At nimajcual Dios, lâin xicß nequeßcuil li xicß nequeßiloc âcue. Cßajoß nak nachal injoskßil chi rilbaleb li nequeßxkßetkßeti ribeb châcuu.
22I hate them with perfect hatred: I count them mine enemies.

23Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts:
