¹Forasmuch then as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind: for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin;

¹ហេតុនេះ បើព្រះគ្រិស្ដបានរងទុក្ខលំបាកកាលព្រះអង្គមានឋានៈជាមនុស្ស បងប្អូនត្រូវប្រកាន់ចិត្ដគំនិតដូចព្រះអង្គដែរ ដ្បិតអ្នកណាស៊ូទ្រាំរងទុក្ខលំបាកខាងរូបកាយ អ្នកនោះលែងទាក់ទាមអ្វីនឹងបាប ទៀតហើយ

²That he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of God.

²ដើម្បីអោយបានរស់ ស្របតាមព្រះហឫទ័យរបស់ព្រះជាម្ចាស់ ក្នុងកំឡុងពេលនៃអាយុជីវិតដែលនៅសល់ក្នុងលោកនេះ គឺមិនរស់នៅតាមចំណង់តណ្ហារបស់មនុស្សទៀតទេ។

³For the time past of our life may suffice us to have wrought the will of the Gentiles, when we walked in lasciviousness, lusts, excess of wine, revellings, banquetings, and abominable idolatries:

³ពីដើម បងប្អូនរស់នៅតាមរបៀបដែលអស់អ្នកមិនស្គាល់ព្រះជាម្ចាស់ ចូលចិត្ដនោះយូរពេកហើយ គឺបានប្រព្រឹត្ដអំពើអបាយមុខ លោភលន់ ប្រមឹក ស៊ីផឹកជ្រុល និង ថ្វាយបង្គំព្រះក្លែងក្លាយនានា គួរអោយខ្ពើម។

⁴Wherein they think it strange that ye run not with them to the same excess of riot, speaking evil of you:

⁴ពួកគេងឿងឆ្ងល់ ដោយឃើញបងប្អូនពុំចូលរួមជាមួយគេ ក្នុងការប្រព្រឹត្ដអំពើថោកទាបហួសហេតុទាំងនោះទៀត ហើយគេក៏និយាយប្រមាថបងប្អូន។

⁵Who shall give account to him that is ready to judge the quick and the dead.

⁵អ្នកទាំងនោះនឹងត្រូវឆ្លើយរៀបរាប់ ពីអំពើដែលខ្លួនប្រព្រឹត្ដនៅចំពោះព្រះភ័ក្ដ្រព្រះអង្គដែលប្រុងប្រៀបនឹងវិនិច្ឆ័យទោស ទាំងមនុស្សរស់ ទាំងមនុស្សស្លាប់។

⁶For for this cause was the gospel preached also to them that are dead, that they might be judged according to men in the flesh, but live according to God in the spirit.

⁶ហេតុនេះ សូម្បីតែមនុស្សស្លាប់ ក៏ព្រះអង្គបាននាំដំណឹងល្អទៅអោយគេឮដែរ។ ដូច្នេះ ទោះបីពួកគេត្រូវទទួលការវិនិច្ឆ័យទោសតាមរបៀបមនុស្ស ក្នុងពេលគេរស់នៅក្នុងលោកីយ៍នេះក៏ដោយ ក៏គេអាចមានជីវិតរស់ស្របតាមព្រះជាម្ចាស់ដោយសារព្រះវិញ្ញាណដែរ។

⁷But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer.

⁷អ្វីៗទាំងអស់ជិតរលាយសូន្យហើយ ហេតុនេះ ត្រូវគិតអោយវែងឆ្ងាយ និង ភ្ញាក់ស្មារតីឡើង ដើម្បីអោយអធិស្ឋាន កើត។

⁸And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity shall cover the multitude of sins.

⁸ជាបឋម ត្រូវមានចិត្ដស្រឡាញ់គ្នាទៅវិញទៅមកជានិច្ច ដ្បិតសេចក្ដីស្រឡាញ់រមែងគ្របបាំងអំពើបាបដ៏ច្រើនលើសលប់។

⁹Use hospitality one to another without grudging.

⁹ត្រូវចេះទទួលគ្នាទៅវិញទៅមក ដោយរាក់ទាក់ឥតរអ៊ូរទាំឡើយ។

¹⁰As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.

¹⁰បងប្អូនម្នាក់ៗបានទទួលព្រះអំណោយទានផ្សេងៗពីគ្នាហើយ ដូច្នេះ ចូរយកព្រះអំណោយទានទាំងនេះទៅបំរើអ្នកឯទៀតៗ អោយសមនឹងនាទីរបស់បងប្អូន ជាអ្នកចាត់ចែងដ៏ល្អដែលចែកព្រះអំណោយទាន គ្រប់បែបយ៉ាងរបស់ព្រះជាម្ចាស់។

¹¹If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God; if any man minister, let him do it as of the ability which God giveth: that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

¹¹បើអ្នកណានិយាយ ត្រូវនិយាយអោយស្របតាមព្រះបន្ទូលរបស់ព្រះជាម្ចាស់។ បើអ្នកណាបំរើ ត្រូវបំរើតាមកម្លាំងដែលព្រះជាម្ចាស់ប្រទានអោយ ដើម្បីលើកតម្កើងសិរីរុងរឿងរបស់ព្រះជាម្ចាស់ ក្នុងគ្រប់កិច្ចការទាំងអស់ តាមរយៈព្រះយេស៊ូគ្រិស្ដ។ សូមលើកតម្កើងសិរីរុងរឿង និង ព្រះចេស្ដារបស់ព្រះអង្គអស់កល្បជាអង្វែងតរៀងទៅ! អាម៉ែន!

¹²Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you:

¹²បងប្អូនជាទីស្រឡាញ់អើយ! ចំពោះទុក្ខលំបាកដ៏ខ្លាំង ដែលកើតមានដើម្បីលត់ដំបងប្អូននោះ សូមកុំងឿងឆ្ងល់ ដោយគិតថាជាព្រឹត្ដិការណ៍អ្វីមួយដ៏ចំឡែកឡើយ។

¹³But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.

¹³ផ្ទុយទៅវិញ ចូរមានចិត្ដរីករាយឡើង ព្រោះបងប្អូនរងទុក្ខលំបាកផ្សេងៗរួមជាមួយព្រះគ្រិស្ដ ។ បងប្អូនមុខជាមានអំណរសប្បាយយ៉ាងខ្លាំង នៅពេលព្រះអង្គបង្ហាញសិរីរុងរឿងរបស់ព្រះអង្គ។

¹⁴If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you: on their part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified.

¹⁴ប្រសិនបើមានគេត្មះតិះដៀលបងប្អូន ព្រោះតែព្រះនាមរបស់ព្រះគ្រិស្ដ នោះបងប្អូនមានសុភមង្គល ហើយ ដ្បិតព្រះវិញ្ញាណប្រកបដោយសិរីរុងរឿង គឺព្រះវិញ្ញាណរបស់ព្រះជាម្ចាស់ស្ថិតនៅលើបងប្អូន។

¹⁵But let none of you suffer as a murderer, or as a thief, or as an evildoer, or as a busybody in other men's matters.

¹⁵ក្នុងចំណោមបងប្អូន សូមកុំអោយមាននរណាម្នាក់រងទុក្ខលំបាក ព្រោះបានសម្លាប់គេ លួចគេ ប្រព្រឹត្ដអំពើអាក្រក់ ឬ ឡូកឡំក្នុងរឿងរ៉ាវរបស់អ្នកដទៃឡើយ។

¹⁶Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf.

¹⁶ប៉ុន្ដែ បើបងប្អូនណារងទុក្ខលំបាក ក្នុងនាមជាគ្រិស្ដបរិស័ទ កុំអៀនខ្មាសអោយសោះ ផ្ទុយទៅវិញ បងប្អូននោះត្រូវតែលើកតម្កើងសិរីរុងរឿងព្រះជាម្ចាស់ព្រោះតែនាមនេះ។

¹⁷For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?

¹⁷ពេលកំណត់ ដែលព្រះជាម្ចាស់ចាប់ផ្តើមវិនិច្ឆ័យទោសមនុស្សលោកមកដល់ហើយ គឺទ្រង់វិនិច្ឆ័យទោសប្រជារាស្ដ្ររបស់ព្រះអង្គមុនគេ។ ប្រសិនបើព្រះអង្គចាប់ផ្ដើមវិនិច្ឆ័យទោសពីយើងទៅហើយ ចុះទំរាំបើអស់អ្នកដែលពុំ ព្រមជឿដំណឹងល្អរបស់ព្រះជាម្ចាស់វិញ តើនឹងធ្លាក់ទៅដល់កំរិតណា!។

¹⁸And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear?

¹⁸បើមនុស្សសុចរិត រួចជីវិតទាំងពិបាកយ៉ាងហ្នឹងទៅហើយ ចុះទំរាំបើមនុស្សទុច្ចរិត និង មនុស្សបាបវិញ តើនឹងទៅជាយ៉ាងណា!។

¹⁹Wherefore let them that suffer according to the will of God commit the keeping of their souls to him in well doing, as unto a faithful Creator.

¹⁹ហេតុនេះ អស់អ្នកដែលរងទុក្ខលំបាកស្របតាមព្រះហឫទ័យព្រះជាម្ចាស់ ត្រូវប្រព្រឹត្ដអំពើល្អ ហើយផ្ញើជីវិតលើព្រះអាទិករ ដែលមានព្រះហឫទ័យស្មោះត្រង់។
