¹But I determined this with myself, that I would not come again to you in heaviness.

¹ដូច្នេះ ខ្ញុំសំរេចថាខ្ញុំមិនវិលមករកបងប្អូនវិញ ទាំងព្រួយចិត្ដនោះឡើយ។

²For if I make you sorry, who is he then that maketh me glad, but the same which is made sorry by me?

²បើខ្ញុំធ្វើអោយបងប្អូនព្រួយចិត្ដទៅហើយ តើនរណានឹងធ្វើអោយខ្ញុំសប្បាយ ក្រៅពីអ្នកដែលខ្ញុំបានធ្វើអោយព្រួយចិត្ដនោះ?

³And I wrote this same unto you, lest, when I came, I should have sorrow from them of whom I ought to rejoice; having confidence in you all, that my joy is the joy of you all.

³សំបុត្រដែលខ្ញុំបានសរសេរមកជូនបងប្អូនមានគោលបំណងចៀសវាងកុំអោយខ្ញុំព្រួយចិត្ដ នៅពេលខ្ញុំមកដល់ គឺកុំអោយខ្ញុំកើតទុក្ខព្រួយ ពីអស់អ្នកដែលត្រូវធ្វើអោយខ្ញុំមានអំណរនោះឡើយ។ ខ្ញុំជឿជាក់ថាពេលខ្ញុំមានអំណរបងប្អូនទាំងអស់គ្នាក៏មានអំណររួមជាមួយខ្ញុំដែរ។

⁴For out of much affliction and anguish of heart I wrote unto you with many tears; not that ye should be grieved, but that ye might know the love which I have more abundantly unto you.

⁴ខ្ញុំសរសេរមកបងប្អូន ទាំងតឹងទ្រូង ទាំងពិបាកចិត្ដ ទាំងស្រក់ទឹកភ្នែក តែមិនមែនចង់ធ្វើអោយបងប្អូនព្រួយចិត្ដទេ គឺចង់សំដែងអោយបងប្អូនដឹងអំពីសេចក្ដីស្រឡាញ់ដ៏លើសលប់របស់ខ្ញុំចំពោះបងប្អូន។

⁵But if any have caused grief, he hath not grieved me, but in part: that I may not overcharge you all.

⁵ប្រសិនបើនរណាម្នាក់បង្កើតអោយមានទុក្ខព្រួយ មិនមែនធ្វើអោយខ្ញុំព្រួយចិត្ដទេ គឺគាត់ធ្វើអោយបងប្អូនទាំងអស់គ្នាព្រួយចិត្ដ ឬ យ៉ាងហោចណាស់ ក៏អោយបងប្អូនមួយចំនួនព្រួយចិត្ដ (ខ្ញុំថាដូច្នេះ មកពីមិនចង់បំផ្លើស)។

⁶Sufficient to such a man is this punishment, which was inflicted of many.

⁶បើបងប្អូនភាគច្រើនបានដាក់ទោសមនុស្សបែបនេះ ល្មមហើយ។

⁷So that contrariwise ye ought rather to forgive him, and comfort him, lest perhaps such a one should be swallowed up with overmuch sorrow.

⁷សូមបងប្អូនអត់ទោសអោយគាត់ និង លើកទឹកចិត្ដគាត់ផងទៅ ក្រែងលោគាត់ពិបាកចិត្ដខ្លាំងពេករហូតដល់ទៅអស់សង្ឃឹម។

⁸Wherefore I beseech you that ye would confirm your love toward him.

⁸ដូច្នេះខ្ញុំសូមទូន្មានបងប្អូនធ្វើយ៉ាងណា បង្ហាញអោយឃើញថាបងប្អូនស្រឡាញ់គាត់។

⁹For to this end also did I write, that I might know the proof of you, whether ye be obedient in all things.

⁹ខ្ញុំសរសេរមកដើម្បីលចិត្ដបងប្អូនមើល ចង់ដឹងថាតើបងប្អូនពិតជាស្ដាប់តាមសេចក្ដីទាំងអស់ដែលខ្ញុំបានបង្គាប់ ឬ យ៉ាងណា។

¹⁰To whom ye forgive any thing, I forgive also: for if I forgave any thing, to whom I forgave it, for your sakes forgave I it in the person of Christ;

¹⁰បើបងប្អូនលើកលែងទោសអោយអ្នកណា ខ្ញុំក៏លើកលែងទោសអោយអ្នកនោះដែរ។ ចំពោះខ្លួនខ្ញុំផ្ទាល់ (ប្រសិនបើមានហេតុដែលខ្ញុំត្រូវអត់ទោសអោយនរណាម្នាក់) ខ្ញុំលើកលែងទោសអោយគេ ព្រោះតែបងប្អូន ដោយខ្ញុំយល់ដល់ព្រះគ្រិស្ដ

¹¹Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

¹¹ដើម្បីកុំអោយយើងចាញ់បោកមារ សាតាំង ដ្បិតយើងស្គាល់គំរោងការរបស់វាស្រាប់ហើយ។

¹²Furthermore, when I came to Troas to preach Christ's gospel, and a door was opened unto me of the Lord,

¹²ពេលខ្ញុំបានទៅដល់ក្រុងត្រូអាស ដើម្បីផ្សព្វផ្សាយដំណឹងល្អ របស់ព្រះគ្រិស្ដ ទោះបីព្រះអម្ចាស់បានបើកឱកាស អោយខ្ញុំក៏ដោយ ក៏ចិត្ដខ្ញុំពុំបានស្ងប់ដែរព្រោះរកលោកទីតុសមិនឃើញ។

¹³I had no rest in my spirit, because I found not Titus my brother: but taking my leave of them, I went from thence into Macedonia.

¹³ហេតុនេះ ខ្ញុំក៏លាពួកបងប្អូននៅក្រុងត្រូអាសធ្វើដំណើរឆ្ពោះទៅស្រុកម៉ាសេដូន។

¹⁴Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place.

¹⁴សូមអរព្រះគុណព្រះជាម្ចាស់ ដែលប្រទានអោយយើងមានជ័យជំនះរួមជាមួយព្រះគ្រិស្ដជានិច្ច។ ព្រះអង្គប្រោសប្រទានអោយមនុស្សនៅគ្រប់ទីកន្លែងបានស្គាល់ព្រះអង្គតាមរយៈយើង ដែលប្រៀបបីដូចជាក្លិនក្រអូបសាយគ្រប់ទិសទី!។

¹⁵For we are unto God a sweet savour of Christ, in them that are saved, and in them that perish:

¹⁵ចំពោះព្រះជាម្ចាស់ គឺយើងនេះហើយជាក្លិនក្រអូបរបស់ព្រះគ្រិស្ដ ក្នុងចំណោមអស់អ្នកដែលបានទទួលការសង្គ្រោះ និង ក្នុងចំណោមអស់អ្នកដែលកំពុងតែវិនាសអន្ដរាយ។

¹⁶To the one we are the savour of death unto death; and to the other the savour of life unto life. And who is sufficient for these things?

¹⁶ចំពោះអ្នកវិនាស យើងជាក្លិននៃសេចក្ដីស្លាប់ដែលនាំអោយគេស្លាប់ ចំពោះអ្នកដែលបានទទួលការសង្គ្រោះយើងជាក្លិននៃជីវិត ដែលនាំអោយគេមានជីវិត។ តើនរណាមានសមត្ថភាព អាចនឹងបំពេញកិច្ចការនេះបាន?

¹⁷For we are not as many, which corrupt the word of God: but as of sincerity, but as of God, in the sight of God speak we in Christ.

¹⁷យើងមិនមែនជាអ្នកក្លែងបន្លំព្រះបន្ទូលរបស់ព្រះជាម្ចាស់ ដូចមនុស្សមួយចំនួនធំនោះឡើយ គឺយើងនិយាយដោយសុទ្ធចិត្ដ ក្នុងនាមព្រះជាម្ចាស់ នៅចំពោះព្រះភ័ក្ដ្រព្រះជាម្ចាស់ និង នៅក្នុងអង្គព្រះគ្រិស្ដ។
