¹Thou therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.

¹ដូច្នេះ កូនអើយ ចូរមានកម្លាំងឡើង ដោយពឹងផ្អែកលើព្រះគុណដែលយើងមានដោយរួមជាមួយព្រះគ្រិស្ដយេស៊ូ។

²And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also.

²សេចក្ដីទាំងអស់ដែលអ្នកបានឮពីខ្ញុំនៅមុខសាក្សីជាច្រើននាក់ ត្រូវប្រគល់អោយបងប្អូនណាដែលស្មោះត្រង់ និង មានសមត្ថភាពអាចបង្រៀនបន្ដទៅអ្នកផ្សេងទៀតចុះ។

³Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.

³ចូររួមរងទុក្ខលំបាក ក្នុងឋានៈជាទាហានដ៏ល្អរបស់ព្រះគ្រិស្ដយេស៊ូ។

⁴No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier.

⁴ពេលទាហានចេញទៅច្បំាង គេមិនគិតពីបញ្ហាក្នុងជីវិតសាមញ្ញនេះទេ គឺគេគិតតែធ្វើយ៉ាងណា អោយអ្នកដែលកេណ្ឌខ្លួនពេញចិត្ដ។

⁵And if a man also strive for masteries, yet is he not crowned, except he strive lawfully.

⁵រីឯកីឡាករវិញ គេអាចទទួលភួងជ័យបាន លុះត្រាតែគេប្រកួតត្រឹមត្រូវតាមក្បួន។

⁶The husbandman that laboureth must be first partaker of the fruits.

⁶កសិករដែលបានធ្វើការយ៉ាងនឿយហត់ ត្រូវតែទទួលភោគផលមុនគេ។

⁷Consider what I say; and the Lord give thee understanding in all things.

⁷ចូរពិចារណាអោយយល់សេចក្ដីដែលខ្ញុំនិយាយនេះ ដ្បិតព្រះអម្ចាស់នឹងប្រទានអោយអ្នក មានប្រាជ្ញា អាចយល់បានទាំងអស់។

⁸Remember that Jesus Christ of the seed of David was raised from the dead according to my gospel:

⁸ចូរនឹកដល់ព្រះយេស៊ូគ្រិស្ដ ដែលមានព្រះជន្មរស់ឡើងវិញ ព្រះអង្គជាប់ព្រះញាតិវង្សនឹងព្រះបាទដាវីឌស្របតាមដំណឹងល្អដែលខ្ញុំប្រកាស។

⁹Wherein I suffer trouble, as an evil doer, even unto bonds; but the word of God is not bound.

⁹ខ្ញុំរងទុក្ខលំបាកព្រោះតែដំណឹងល្អនេះ រហូតដល់ត្រូវគេចាប់ចង ដូចជាបានប្រព្រឹត្ដអំពើអាក្រក់។ រីឯព្រះបន្ទូលរបស់ព្រះជាម្ចាស់វិញ គេពុំអាចចាប់ចងបានឡើយ។

¹⁰Therefore I endure all things for the elect's sakes, that they may also obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory.

¹⁰ហេតុនេះហើយបានជាខ្ញុំសុខចិត្ដស៊ូទ្រាំគ្រប់យ៉ាង ដោយយល់ដល់អ្នកដែលព្រះជាម្ចាស់ បានជ្រើសរើស ដើម្បីអោយពួកគេទទួលការសង្គ្រោះ ដោយរួមក្នុងអង្គព្រះគ្រិស្ដយេស៊ូ ព្រមទាំងទទួល សិរីរុងរឿងដ៏នៅស្ថិតស្ថេរអស់កល្បជានិច្ចនោះដែរ។

¹¹It is a faithful saying: For if we be dead with him, we shall also live with him:

¹¹ពាក្យនេះគួរអោយជឿ គឺថាៈ ប្រសិនបើយើងរួមស្លាប់ជាមួយព្រះអង្គ យើងក៏នឹងមានជីវិតរស់ រួមជាមួយព្រះអង្គដែរ។

¹²If we suffer, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us:

¹²ប្រសិនបើយើងស៊ូទ្រាំ យើងនឹងបានគ្រងរាជ្យជាមួយព្រះអង្គ។ ប្រសិនបើយើងបដិសេធមិនទទួលស្គាល់ព្រះអង្គ ព្រះអង្គក៏នឹងបដិសេធមិនទទួលស្គាល់យើងវិញដែរ។

¹³If we believe not, yet he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself.

¹³ប្រសិនបើយើងមិនស្មោះត្រង់ ព្រះអង្គនៅតែស្មោះត្រង់ដដែល ដ្បិតព្រះអង្គពុំអាចបដិសេធព្រះអង្គផ្ទាល់បានឡើយ។

¹⁴Of these things put them in remembrance, charging them before the Lord that they strive not about words to no profit, but to the subverting of the hearers.

¹⁴អ្នកត្រូវរំលឹកដាស់តឿនបងប្អូន ទាំងបញ្ជាក់យ៉ាងម៉ឹងម៉ាត់ នៅចំពោះព្រះភ័ក្ដ្រព្រះជាម្ចាស់អោយគេចៀសវាងឈ្លោះប្រកែកគ្នា អំពីពាក្យពេចន៍ព្រោះគ្មានផលប្រយោជន៍អ្វីឡើយ គឺនាំតែកើតអន្ដរាយដល់អ្នកស្ដាប់ប៉ុណ្ណោះ។

¹⁵Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

¹⁵ចូរខំប្រឹងធ្វើយ៉ាងណា អោយបានគាប់ព្រះហឫទ័យព្រះជាម្ចាស់ និង ចូលជិតព្រះអង្គក្នុងឋានៈជាកម្មករដែលគ្មានអ្វីនាំអោយអៀនខ្មាស ព្រោះខ្លួនបានចែកផ្សាយព្រះបន្ទូលនៃសេចក្ដីពិត យ៉ាងត្រឹមត្រូវ។

¹⁶But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness.

¹⁶ត្រូវចៀសវាងពាក្យព្រោកប្រាជ្ញដែលគ្មានន័យ គ្មានខ្លឹមសារ ដ្បិតពួកអ្នកចូលចិត្ដពាក្យព្រោកប្រាជ្ញបែបនេះ រមែងតែងតែឃ្លាតចេញពីព្រះជាម្ចាស់កាន់តែឆ្ងាយទៅៗ។

¹⁷And their word will eat as doth a canker: of whom is Hymenaeus and Philetus;

¹⁷ពាក្យសំដីរបស់ពួកគេ ប្រៀបបីដូចជាដំបៅ ស៊ីរូងកាន់តែជ្រៅទៅៗ ក្នុងចំណោមអ្នកទាំងនោះមានហ៊ីមេណាស និង ភីលេត។

¹⁸Who concerning the truth have erred, saying that the resurrection is past already; and overthrow the faith of some.

¹⁸អ្នកទាំងពីរបានឃ្លាតឆ្ងាយពីសេចក្ដីពិត ដោយពោលថា មនុស្សស្លាប់បានរស់ឡើងវិញ រួចហើយ គេក៏បានបង្វែរបងប្អូនខ្លះអោយលះបង់ជំនឿ។

¹⁹Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.

¹⁹ក៏ប៉ុន្ដែ ទោះជាយ៉ាងណាក៏ដោយ គ្រឹះដ៏មាំដែលព្រះជាម្ចាស់បានចាក់នោះនៅតែស្ថិតស្ថេររឹងប៉ឹងដដែល ហើយនៅលើគ្រឹះនោះមានចារឹកពាក្យជាសញ្ញាសំគាល់ថាៈ «ព្រះអម្ចាស់ស្គាល់កូនចៅរបស់ព្រះអង្គ» ហើយ «អ្នកណាប្រកាសថាខ្លួនគោរពព្រះនាមព្រះអម្ចាស់ អ្នកនោះត្រូវតែងាកចេញអោយផុតពីអំពើទុច្ចរិត»។

²⁰But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour, and some to dishonour.

²⁰នៅក្នុងផ្ទះមួយដ៏ធំ មិនមែនមានតែគ្រឿងប្រដាប់ធ្វើពីមាស ឬ ពីប្រាក់ប៉ុណ្ណោះទេ គឺមានគ្រឿងប្រដាប់ធ្វើពីឈើ និង ធ្វើពីដីដែរ មួយផ្នែកសំរាប់ប្រើប្រាស់ក្នុងឱកាសពិសេស មួយផ្នែកទៀត សំរាប់ប្រើប្រាស់ជាធម្មតា។

²¹If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master's use, and prepared unto every good work.

²¹ដូច្នេះ ប្រសិនបើអ្នកណាម្នាក់ជំរះខ្លួនបានបរិសុទ្ធ ផុតពីអំពើអាក្រក់ទាំងនេះហើយ ព្រះជាម្ចាស់នឹងប្រើអ្នកនោះទុកដូចជាឧបករណ៍វិសេស វិសុទ្ធ មានប្រយោជន៍ដល់ម្ចាស់ និង ប្រើប្រាស់សំរាប់ធ្វើអំពើល្អគ្រប់យ៉ាង។

²²Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart.

²²ចូរគេចចេញអោយផុតពីតណ្ហានៃយុវវ័យ ហើយខំប្រឹងស្វែងរកសេចក្ដីសុចរិត ជំនឿ សេចក្ដីស្រឡាញ់ សេចក្ដីសុខសាន្ដ ជាមួយអស់អ្នកដែលគោរពព្រះអម្ចាស់ដោយចិត្ដបរិសុទ្ធ នោះវិញ។

²³But foolish and unlearned questions avoid, knowing that they do gender strifes.

²³ចូរចៀសវាងការជជែកវែកញែកដ៏ល្ងីល្ងើផ្ដេសផ្ដាស ត្រូវដឹងថា ការជជែកវែកញែកបែបនេះ បង្កអោយតែមានជម្លោះប៉ុណ្ណោះ

²⁴And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient,

²⁴រីឯអ្នកបំរើរបស់ព្រះអម្ចាស់ មិនត្រូវអោយមានការឈ្លោះប្រកែកគ្នាឡើយ ផ្ទុយទៅវិញ ត្រូវរួសរាយចំពោះមនុស្សទួទៅ ត្រូវចេះបង្រៀន និង អធ្យាស្រ័យដល់គេ

²⁵In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth;

²⁵ត្រូវមានចិត្ដស្លូតបូត ប្រដៅពួកអ្នកប្រឆាំង ក្រែងលោព្រះជាម្ចាស់នឹងប្រោសប្រទានអោយគេកែប្រែចិត្ដគំនិត ដើម្បីអោយគេបានស្គាល់សេចក្ដីពិតយ៉ាងច្បាស់

²⁶And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.

²⁶ព្រមទាំងភ្ញាក់ស្មារតីឡើងវិញ ហើយដោះខ្លួនរួចពីអន្ទាក់របស់មារ ដែលបានចាប់ចងគេ បង្ខំអោយធ្វើតាមបំណងរបស់វា។
