¹Then said the high priest, Are these things so?

¹លោកមហាបូជាចារ្យមានប្រសាសន៍សួរថា៖ «តើពិតជាដូច្នេះមែនឬ?»

²And he said, Men, brethren, and fathers, hearken; The God of glory appeared unto our father Abraham, when he was in Mesopotamia, before he dwelt in Charran,

²លោកស្ទេផានឆ្លើយឡើងថា៖ «សូមជំរាបអស់លោកជាបងប្អូន និង ជាឪពុក សូមជ្រាប! កាលលោកអប្រាហំា ជាបុព្វបុរស របស់យើង រស់នៅឯស្រុកមេសូប៉ូតាមា គឺមុនពេលលោកទៅនៅស្រុកខារ៉ាន ព្រះជាម្ចាស់ប្រកបដោយសិរីរុងរឿង បានមកបង្ហាញព្រះអង្គអោយលោកឃើញ

³And said unto him, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and come into the land which I shall shew thee.

³ហើយមានព្រះបន្ទូលថា៖"ចូរចាកចេញពីស្រុកកំណើតរបស់អ្នក ចាកចេញពីញាតិសន្ដានរបស់អ្នក រួចធ្វើដំណើរទៅកាន់ស្រុកមួយដែលយើងនឹងបង្ហាញអ្នក!"។

⁴Then came he out of the land of the Chaldaeans, and dwelt in Charran: and from thence, when his father was dead, he removed him into this land, wherein ye now dwell.

⁴លោកអប្រាហំាក៏ចាកចេញពីស្រុកខាល់ដេទៅរស់នៅក្នុងស្រុកខារ៉ាន។ ក្រោយពេលឪពុករបស់លោកទទួលមរណភាពផុតទៅ ព្រះជាម្ចាស់បាននាំលោកចេញពីស្រុកនោះ មកនៅស្រុកដែលអស់លោករស់នៅសព្វថ្ងៃ។

⁵And he gave him none inheritance in it, no, not so much as to set his foot on: yet he promised that he would give it to him for a possession, and to his seed after him, when as yet he had no child.

⁵នៅស្រុកនេះ ព្រះជាម្ចាស់ពុំបានប្រទានដីធ្លីអោយលោកឡើយ គឺសូម្បីតែដីល្មមនឹងដាក់បាតជើង ក៏ព្រះអង្គមិនប្រទានអោយដែរ។ ប៉ុន្ដែ ព្រះអង្គបានសន្យាថា នឹងប្រគល់ស្រុកនេះទាំងមូលមកអោយលោក និង អោយពូជពង្សរបស់លោកទៅជំនាន់ក្រោយៗផង។ ពេលនោះ លោកអប្រាហំាគ្មានកូនទេ។

⁶And God spake on this wise, That his seed should sojourn in a strange land; and that they should bring them into bondage, and entreat them evil four hundred years.

⁶ព្រះជាម្ចាស់មានព្រះបន្ទូលថាៈ "ពូជពង្សរបស់អ្នកនឹងអាស្រ័យនៅលើទឹកដីបរទេស។ អ្នកស្រុកនោះនឹងយកពូជពង្សរបស់អ្នកធ្វើជាខ្ញុំបំរើ ព្រមទាំងធ្វើទុក្ខទោសគេ អស់រយៈពេលបួនរយឆ្នាំ"។

⁷And the nation to whom they shall be in bondage will I judge, said God: and after that shall they come forth, and serve me in this place.

⁷ព្រះជាម្ចាស់មានព្រះបន្ទូលទៀតថា "ប៉ុន្ដែ យើងនឹងដាក់ទោសជាតិសាសន៍ដែលយកពូជពង្សរបស់អ្នកធ្វើជាខ្ញុំបំរើ។ ក្រោយមកពូជពង្សរបស់អ្នកនឹងចាកចេញពីស្រុកនោះ មកគោរពថ្វាយបង្គំយើងនៅកន្លែងនេះ"។

⁸And he gave him the covenant of circumcision: and so Abraham begat Isaac, and circumcised him the eighth day; and Isaac begat Jacob; and Jacob begat the twelve patriarchs.

⁸បន្ទាប់មក ព្រះជាម្ចាស់បានប្រោសប្រទានសម្ពន្ធមេត្រី អោយលោកអប្រាហំា ដោយយកពិធីកាត់ ស្បែក ធ្វើជាសញ្ញា។ ហេតុនេះហើយបានជាលោកអ៊ីសាកកើតបានប្រាំបីថ្ងៃ លោកអប្រាហំា ជាឪពុក បានធ្វើពិធីកាត់ស្បែកអោយ។ លោកអ៊ីសាកក៏បានធ្វើពិធីកាត់ស្បែកអោយលោកយ៉ាកុប ហើយលោកយ៉ាកុបក៏បានធ្វើពិធីកាត់ស្បែកអោយបុព្វបុរស ទាំងដប់ពីររូបដែរ។

⁹And the patriarchs, moved with envy, sold Joseph into Egypt: but God was with him,

⁹ពួកបុព្វបុរស មានចិត្ដ ច្រណែន ឈ្នានីស នឹង លោកយ៉ូសែប ក៏លក់លោកអោយគេនាំយកទៅធ្វើជាខ្ញុំបំរើនៅស្រុកអេស៊ីប។

¹⁰And delivered him out of all his afflictions, and gave him favour and wisdom in the sight of Pharaoh king of Egypt; and he made him governor over Egypt and all his house.

¹⁰ប៉ុន្ដែ ព្រះជាម្ចាស់គង់ជាមួយលោក ព្រះអង្គបានរំដោះលោកអោយរួចផុតពីទុក្ខវេទនាទាំងប៉ុន្មាន។ ព្រះអង្គប្រទានអោយលោកមានប្រាជ្ញាវាងវៃ និង គាប់ព្រះហឫទ័យព្រះចៅផារ៉ោន ជាស្ដេចស្រុកអេស៊ីប។ ព្រះចៅផារ៉ោនបានតែងតាំងលោកអោយគ្រប់គ្រងស្រុកអេស៊ីប និង ត្រួតត្រាព្រះរាជវាំងទាំងមូលផង។

¹¹Now there came a dearth over all the land of Egypt and Chanaan, and great affliction: and our fathers found no sustenance.

¹¹ពេលនោះ មានកើតទុរ្ភិក្សពេញទាំងស្រុកអេស៊ីប និង ស្រុកកាណាន បណ្ដាលអោយមានទុក្ខវេទនាជាខ្លាំង បុព្វបុរសរបស់យើងរកអ្វីបរិភោគពុំបានឡើយ។

¹²But when Jacob heard that there was corn in Egypt, he sent out our fathers first.

¹²ពេលលោកយ៉ាកុបឮដំណឹងថា នៅស្រុកអេស៊ីបមានស្រូវលោកក៏ចាត់ពួកបុព្វបុរសរបស់យើង អោយទៅស្រុកនោះជាលើកទីមួយ។

¹³And at the second time Joseph was made known to his brethren; and Joseph's kindred was made known unto Pharaoh.

¹³នៅលើកទីពីរ លោកយ៉ូសែបបានប្រាប់អោយបងប្អូនរបស់លោក ស្គាល់លោក ហើយព្រះចៅផារ៉ោនក៏បានជ្រាបអំពីដើមកំណើតរបស់លោកយ៉ូសែបដែរ។

¹⁴Then sent Joseph, and called his father Jacob to him, and all his kindred, threescore and fifteen souls.

¹⁴បន្ទាប់មក លោកយ៉ូសែបបានចាត់គេអោយទៅអញ្ជើញលោកយ៉ាកុបជាឪពុក និង ញាតិសន្ដានទាំងអស់ ដែលមានគ្នាចិតសិបប្រាំនាក់នោះមក។

¹⁵So Jacob went down into Egypt, and died, he, and our fathers,

¹⁵លោកយ៉ាកុបក៏ចុះទៅស្រុកអេស៊ីប ហើយលោកទទួលមរណភាពទៅ ពួកបុព្វបុរសក៏ទទួលមរណភាពនៅស្រុកនោះដែរ។

¹⁶And were carried over into Sychem, and laid in the sepulchre that Abraham bought for a sum of money of the sons of Emmor the father of Sychem.

¹⁶គេបានដឹកសពលោកយ៉ាកុប និង សពពួកបុព្វបុរសមកបញ្ចុះនៅភូមិស៊ីគែមក្នុងផ្នូរដែលលោកអប្រាហំាបានទិញពីកូនរបស់លោកហេម័រ នៅភូមិស៊ីគែមនោះ។

¹⁷But when the time of the promise drew nigh, which God had sworn to Abraham, the people grew and multiplied in Egypt,

¹⁷លុះជិតដល់ពេលព្រះជាម្ចាស់ត្រូវបំពេញតាមព្រះបន្ទូលដែលព្រះអង្គសន្យាជាមួយលោកអប្រាហំាជនជាតិរបស់យើងបានកើនចំនួនកាន់តែច្រើនឡើងៗនៅស្រុកអេស៊ីប។

¹⁸Till another king arose, which knew not Joseph.

¹⁸បន្ទាប់មក មានស្ដេចថ្មី ឡើងគ្រងរាជ្យនៅស្រុកអេស៊ីប តែទ្រង់មិនស្គាល់លោកយ៉ូសែបទេ។

¹⁹The same dealt subtilly with our kindred, and evil entreated our fathers, so that they cast out their young children, to the end they might not live.

¹⁹ស្ដេចថ្មីនោះបានប្រើល្បិចអាក្រក់មកលើពូជសាសន៍យើង គឺទ្រង់បានធ្វើបាបបុព្វបុរសរបស់យើងរហូតដល់បង្ខំពួកគាត់អោយយកទារកតូចៗរបស់ខ្លួនទៅបំបរបង់ចោល ដើម្បីកុំអោយមានជីវិតរស់តទៅមុខទៀត។

²⁰In which time Moses was born, and was exceeding fair, and nourished up in his father's house three months:

²⁰លោកម៉ូសេបានកើតនៅជំនាន់នោះហើយលោកជាទារកមួយដ៏ស្អាត ជាទីគាប់ព្រះហឫទ័យព្រះជាម្ចាស់។ ឪពុកម្ដាយបានចិញ្ចឹមលោកនៅក្នុងផ្ទះអស់រយៈពេលបីខែ។

²¹And when he was cast out, Pharaoh's daughter took him up, and nourished him for her own son.

²¹កាលគេបំបរបង់លោកចោល បុត្រីរបស់ស្ដេចផារ៉ោនបានរើសលោកយកមកចិញ្ចឹមបីបាច់ថែរក្សា ធ្វើជាកូន។

²²And Moses was learned in all the wisdom of the Egyptians, and was mighty in words and in deeds.

²²លោកម៉ូសេបានទទួលការអប់រំ តាមចំណេះវិជ្ជាទាំងប៉ុន្មានរបស់ជនជាតិអេស៊ីប លោកមានសំនួនវោហារពូកែ ហើយប៉ិនប្រសប់ធ្វើកិច្ចការផ្សេងៗផង។

²³And when he was full forty years old, it came into his heart to visit his brethren the children of Israel.

²³លុះដល់លោកមានអាយុគំរប់សែសិបឆ្នាំ លោកក៏បានសំរេចចិត្ដទៅសួរសុខទុក្ខជនជាតិអ៊ីស្រាអែល ជាបងប្អូនរួមជាតិរបស់លោក។

²⁴And seeing one of them suffer wrong, he defended him, and avenged him that was oppressed, and smote the Egyptian:

²⁴លោកបានឃើញជនរួមជាតិរបស់លោកម្នាក់ត្រូវគេធ្វើបាប លោកក៏ចេញមុខការពារ ហើយសងសឹកជំនួសអ្នកដែលត្រូវគេធ្វើបាប ដោយវាយសម្លាប់ជនជាតិអេស៊ីបនោះទៅ។

²⁵For he supposed his brethren would have understood how that God by his hand would deliver them: but they understood not.

²⁵លោកនឹកស្មានថា បងប្អូនរួមជាតិរបស់លោកមុខជាយល់ថា ព្រះជាម្ចាស់នឹងសង្គ្រោះពួកគេតាមរយៈលោកប៉ុន្ដែ ពួកគេពុំបានយល់ដូច្នោះឡើយ។

²⁶And the next day he shewed himself unto them as they strove, and would have set them at one again, saying, Sirs, ye are brethren; why do ye wrong one to another?

²⁶នៅថ្ងៃបន្ទាប់លោកម៉ូសេបានប្រទះឃើញជនជាតិអ៊ីស្រាអែលខ្លះកំពុងវាយគ្នា លោកក៏មានប្រសាសន៍សំរុះសំរួលគេថាៈ "អ្នករាល់គ្នាជាបងប្អូននឹងគ្នា ហេតុដូចម្ដេចបានជាធ្វើបាបគ្នាឯងដូច្នេះ?"។

²⁷But he that did his neighbour wrong thrust him away, saying, Who made thee a ruler and a judge over us?

²⁷ម្នាក់ដែលធ្វើបាបបងប្អូនបានច្រានលោកម៉ូសេចេញទាំងពោលថាៈ "នរណាបានតាំងអ្នកអោយធ្វើជាមេដឹកនាំ និង ជាចៅក្រមពីលើយើង?

²⁸Wilt thou kill me, as thou diddest the Egyptian yesterday?

²⁸តើអ្នកចង់សម្លាប់ខ្ញុំដូចអ្នកបានសម្លាប់អេស៊ីបម្នាក់ពីម្សិលមិញនោះដែរឬ?"។

²⁹Then fled Moses at this saying, and was a stranger in the land of Madian, where he begat two sons.

²⁹កាលលោកម៉ូសេឮពាក្យនេះ លោកក៏ភៀសខ្លួនទៅនៅស្រុកម៉ាឌាន។ នៅស្រុកនោះ លោកបានកូនប្រុសពីរនាក់។

³⁰And when forty years were expired, there appeared to him in the wilderness of mount Sina an angel of the Lord in a flame of fire in a bush.

³⁰សែសិបឆ្នាំកន្លងមកទៀត មានទេវតា មួយរូបបានបង្ហាញខ្លួនអោយលោកឃើញ នៅវាលរហោស្ថានភ្នំស៊ីណៃ ក្នុងអណ្ដាតភ្លើងដែលកំពុងឆេះនៅគុម្ពោតមួយ។

³¹When Moses saw it, he wondered at the sight: and as he drew near to behold it, the voice of the LORD came unto him,

³¹លោកម៉ូសេងឿងឆ្ងល់ ចំពោះហេតុដ៏អស្ចារ្យដែលលោកឃើញនោះណាស់។ ពេលលោកចូលទៅជិត ដើម្បីពិនិត្យមើល លោកបានឮព្រះសូរសៀងរបស់ព្រះអម្ចាស់ថាៈ

³²Saying, I am the God of thy fathers, the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob. Then Moses trembled, and durst not behold.

³²"យើងជាព្រះនៃបុព្វបុរសរបស់អ្នកគឺជាព្រះរបស់អប្រាហំា ព្រះរបស់អ៊ីសាក និង ព្រះរបស់យ៉ាកុប"។ លោកម៉ូសេភ័យញ័រជាខ្លាំង ពុំហ៊ានសំឡឹងមើលទេ។

³³Then said the Lord to him, Put off thy shoes from thy feet: for the place where thou standest is holy ground.

³³ព្រះអម្ចាស់មានព្រះបន្ទូលមកលោកថាៈ "ចូរដោះស្បែកជើងចេញ ដ្បិតកន្លែងដែលអ្នក ឈរនេះជាកន្លែងដ៏វិសុទ្ធ ។

³⁴I have seen, I have seen the affliction of my people which is in Egypt, and I have heard their groaning, and am come down to deliver them. And now come, I will send thee into Egypt.

³⁴យើងបានឃើញប្រជារាស្ដ្ររបស់យើងរងទុក្ខលំបាកនៅស្រុកអេស៊ីប យើងក៏បានឮសំរែកសោកសៅរបស់គេដែរ យើងចុះមកនេះ ដើម្បីរំដោះពួកគេ។ ចូរមក! យើងនឹងចាត់ អ្នកអោយទៅស្រុកអេស៊ីបឥឡូវនេះ"។

³⁵This Moses whom they refused, saying, Who made thee a ruler and a judge? the same did God send to be a ruler and a deliverer by the hand of the angel which appeared to him in the bush.

³⁵ជនជាតិអ៊ីស្រាអែល បានបដិសេធមិនទទួលស្គាល់លោកម៉ូសេនេះទេ ដោយពោលថា"នរណាបានតាំងអ្នកអោយធ្វើជាមេដឹកនាំ និង ជាចៅក្រមលើយើង?"។ ក៏ប៉ុន្ដែ ព្រះជាម្ចាស់បានចាត់លោកអោយទៅ ក្នុងឋានៈជាមេដឹកនាំ និង ជាអ្នករំដោះ ដោយមានជំនួយពីទេវតាដែលបានបង្ហាញខ្លួនអោយលោកឃើញក្នុងគុម្ពោត។

³⁶He brought them out, after that he had shewed wonders and signs in the land of Egypt, and in the Red sea, and in the wilderness forty years.

³⁶គឺលោកម៉ូសេនេះហើយ ដែលបានដឹកនាំជនជាតិអ៊ីស្រាអែលចេញមក ទាំងសំដែងឫទ្ធិបាដិហារិយ៍ និង ទីសំគាល់ដ៏អស្ចារ្យ នៅស្រុកអេស៊ីប នៅសមុទ្រក្រហម និង នៅវាលរហោស្ថាន អស់រយៈពេលសែសិបឆ្នាំផង។

³⁷This is that Moses, which said unto the children of Israel, A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall ye hear.

³⁷លោកម៉ូសេនេះហើយ ដែលមានប្រសាសន៍ទៅកាន់ជនជាតិអ៊ីស្រាអែលថាៈ "ព្រះជាម្ចាស់នឹងធ្វើអោយមានព្យាការីម្នាក់ដូចខ្ញុំ ងើបឡើងពីចំណោមបងប្អូនរបស់អ្នករាល់គ្នា"។

³⁸This is he, that was in the church in the wilderness with the angel which spake to him in the mount Sina, and with our fathers: who received the lively oracles to give unto us:

³⁸កាលជនជាតិអ៊ីស្រាអែលនៅជួបជុំគ្នាក្នុងវាលរហោស្ថាន គឺលោកម៉ូសេនេះហើយ ដែលនៅជាមួយទេវតាផង នៅជាមួយបុព្វបុរសផង។ ទេវតាបានថ្លែងព្រះបន្ទូលមកលោក នៅលើភ្នំស៊ីណៃ ហើយលោកបានទទួលព្រះបន្ទូលដែលផ្ដល់ជីវិត យកមកប្រគល់អោយយើងទាំងអស់គ្នា។

³⁹To whom our fathers would not obey, but thrust him from them, and in their hearts turned back again into Egypt,

³⁹បុព្វបុរសរបស់យើងមិនព្រមស្ដាប់បង្គាប់លោកទេ គឺគេបែរជានាំគ្នាជំទាស់នឹងលោក ហើយមានចិត្ដចង់វិលត្រឡប់ទៅស្រុកអេស៊ីបវិញ

⁴⁰Saying unto Aaron, Make us gods to go before us: for as for this Moses, which brought us out of the land of Egypt, we wot not what is become of him.

⁴⁰ដោយពោលទៅកាន់លោកអើរ៉ុនថាៈ"សូមលោកឆ្លាក់រូបចម្លាក់ផ្សេងៗធ្វើជាព្រះដឹកនាំយើងដ្បិតលោកម៉ូសេ ដែលបាននាំយើងចេញពីស្រុកអេស៊ីបមកនោះ យើងមិនដឹងលោកទៅជា យ៉ាងណាហើយទេ!"។

⁴¹And they made a calf in those days, and offered sacrifice unto the idol, and rejoiced in the works of their own hands.

⁴¹នៅគ្រានោះ គេក៏បានឆ្លាក់រូបកូនគោមួយ ហើយយកយញ្ញបូជាមកថ្វាយរូប ចម្លាក់នោះរួចនាំគ្នាសប្បាយរីករាយចំពោះវត្ថុដែលជាស្នាដៃរបស់ខ្លួន។

⁴²Then God turned, and gave them up to worship the host of heaven; as it is written in the book of the prophets, O ye house of Israel, have ye offered to me slain beasts and sacrifices by the space of forty years in the wilderness?

⁴²ពេលនោះ ព្រះជាម្ចាស់ឈប់រវីរវល់នឹងគេទ្រង់បណ្ដោយគេអោយគោរពថ្វាយបង្គំផ្កាយទាំងឡាយនៅលើមេឃ ស្របនឹងសេចក្ដីដែលមានចែងទុកក្នុងគម្ពីរព្យាការីថាៈ "ប្រជារាស្ដ្រអ៊ីស្រាអែលអើយ! ក្នុងអំឡុងពេលសែសិបឆ្នាំនៅវាលរហោស្ថាន តើអ្នករាល់គ្នាដែលបានយកសត្វ ឬ យញ្ញបូជាអ្វីមកអោយយើងឬទេ?។

⁴³Yea, ye took up the tabernacle of Moloch, and the star of your god Remphan, figures which ye made to worship them: and I will carry you away beyond Babylon.

⁴³អ្នករាល់គ្នាបានសែងខ្ទមរបស់ព្រះម៉ូឡុក និង សែងរូបផ្កាយតំណាងព្រះរេមផាន់ របស់អ្នករាល់គ្នា។ រូបសំណាកអស់ទាំងនេះអ្នករាល់គ្នាបានឆ្លាក់ ដើម្បីយកមកថ្វាយបង្គំ!។ ដូច្នេះយើងនឹងកៀរអ្នករាល់គ្នាយកទៅឆ្ងាយ ហួសស្រុកបាប៊ីឡូនទៅទៀត"។

⁴⁴Our fathers had the tabernacle of witness in the wilderness, as he had appointed, speaking unto Moses, that he should make it according to the fashion that he had seen.

⁴⁴នៅវាលរហោស្ថាន បុព្វបុរសរបស់យើងមានព្រះពន្លា របស់ព្រះជាម្ចាស់សង់ឡើង ស្របតាមព្រះបន្ទូលដែលព្រះជាម្ចាស់បានបង្គាប់មកលោកម៉ូសេ គឺតាមគំរូដែលលោកបានឃើញ។

⁴⁵Which also our fathers that came after brought in with Jesus into the possession of the Gentiles, whom God drave out before the face of our fathers, unto the days of David;

⁴⁵បុព្វបុរសរបស់យើងបានទទួលព្រះពន្លាតៗគ្នា ហើយសែងចូលទៅក្នុងទឹកដីដែលរឹបយកពីជាតិសាសន៍នានា ក្រោមការដឹកនាំរបស់លោកយ៉ូស្វេគឺជាជាតិសាសន៍ដែលព្រះជាម្ចាស់បានដេញចេញពីមុខពួកគេ។ ព្រះពន្លានេះនៅគង់វង្សរហូតដល់ជំនាន់ព្រះបាទដាវីឌ។

⁴⁶Who found favour before God, and desired to find a tabernacle for the God of Jacob.

⁴⁶ព្រះជាម្ចាស់គាប់ព្រះហឫទ័យនឹងព្រះបាទដាវីឌ ព្រះបាទដាវីឌក៏បានទូលសូមអនុញ្ញាតពីព្រះអង្គ រកព្រះដំណាក់មួយថ្វាយព្រះរបស់លោកយ៉ាកុប

⁴⁷But Solomon built him an house.

⁴⁷តែព្រះបាទសាឡូម៉ូនឯណោះវិញទេ ដែលបានសង់ព្រះដំណាក់នោះ។

⁴⁸Howbeit the most High dwelleth not in temples made with hands; as saith the prophet,

⁴⁸ព្រះដ៏ខ្ពង់ខ្ពស់បំផុតមិនគង់នៅក្នុងដំណាក់ដែលសង់ឡើងដោយដៃមនុស្សឡើយ ដូចព្យាការី បានថ្លែងទុកមកស្រាប់ថាៈ

⁴⁹Heaven is my throne, and earth is my footstool: what house will ye build me? saith the Lord: or what is the place of my rest?

⁴⁹"ផ្ទៃមេឃជាបល្ល័ង្ករបស់យើង ហើយផែនដីក៏ជាកំណល់ទ្រជើងយើងដែរ"។ ព្រះអម្ចាស់មានព្រះបន្ទូលថាៈ "តើអ្នករាល់គ្នានឹងសង់ដំណាក់បែបណា អោយយើងបាន? តើកន្លែងដែលយើងនឹងសំរាកនោះនៅឯណា?

⁵⁰Hath not my hand made all these things?

⁵⁰គឺយើងទេតើដែលបានបង្កើត អ្វីៗទាំងនោះមក!"។

⁵¹Ye stiffnecked and uncircumcised in heart and ears, ye do always resist the Holy Ghost: as your fathers did, so do ye.

⁵¹អស់លោកចិត្ដរឹងរូសអើយ! អស់លោកមានចិត្ដមានត្រចៀកដូចសាសន៍ដទៃ ចេះតែជំទាស់ប្រឆាំងនឹងព្រះវិញ្ញាណដ៏វិសុទ្ធជានិច្ច គឺមិនខុសពីបុព្វបុរសរបស់អស់លោកទេ!

⁵²Which of the prophets have not your fathers persecuted? and they have slain them which shewed before of the coming of the Just One; of whom ye have been now the betrayers and murderers:

⁵²គ្មានព្យាការីណាម្នាក់ ដែលបុព្វបុរសរបស់អស់លោកមិនបានបៀតបៀននោះឡើយ។ បុព្វបុរសរបស់អស់លោកបានសម្លាប់អស់អ្នកដែលប្រកាសទុកជាមុនថា ព្រះដ៏សុចរិតនឹងយាងមក។ ឥឡូវនេះ អស់លោកបានចាប់ព្រះអង្គនោះបញ្ជូនទៅអោយគេ ហើយអស់លោកធ្វើគុតព្រះអង្គថែមទៀតផង។

⁵³Who have received the law by the disposition of angels, and have not kept it.

⁵³អស់លោកបានទទួលក្រឹត្យវិន័យ តាមរយៈទេវតាតែអស់លោកពុំបានប្រព្រឹត្ដតាមសោះ!»។

⁵⁴When they heard these things, they were cut to the heart, and they gnashed on him with their teeth.

⁵⁴កាលសមាជិកក្រុមប្រឹក្សាជាន់ខ្ពស់ឮដូច្នោះ គេក្រេវក្រោធជាខ្លាំងគេសង្កៀតធ្មេញដាក់លោកស្ទេផាន។

⁵⁵But he, being full of the Holy Ghost, looked up stedfastly into heaven, and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing on the right hand of God,

⁵⁵រីឯលោកស្ទេផានវិញ លោកបានពោរពេញដោយព្រះវិញ្ញាណដ៏វិសុទ្ធ លោកសំឡឹងមើលទៅលើមេឃ ឃើញសិរីរុងរឿងរបស់ព្រះជាម្ចាស់ និង ឃើញព្រះយេស៊ូឈរនៅខាងស្ដាំព្រះអង្គ។

⁵⁶And said, Behold, I see the heavens opened, and the Son of man standing on the right hand of God.

⁵⁶លោកមានប្រសាសន៍ថា៖ «មើលហ្ន៎!ខ្ញុំឃើញផ្ទៃមេឃបើកចំហ និង ឃើញបុត្រមនុស្ស ឈរនៅខាងស្ដាំព្រះជាម្ចាស់»។

⁵⁷Then they cried out with a loud voice, and stopped their ears, and ran upon him with one accord,

⁵⁷ពួកគេស្រែកឡើងយ៉ាងខ្លាំងទាំងយកដៃខ្ទប់ត្រចៀក ហើយនាំគ្នាស្ទុះទៅសង្គ្រុបពីលើលោក។

⁵⁸And cast him out of the city, and stoned him: and the witnesses laid down their clothes at a young man's feet, whose name was Saul.

⁵⁸គេបណ្ដេញលោកចេញពីទីក្រុង រួចយកដុំថ្មគប់សម្លាប់លោក។ ពួកអ្នកដែលជាសាក្សី បានយកសម្លៀកបំពាក់របស់ខ្លួនទៅទុក នៅក្បែរជើងយុវជនម្នាក់ឈ្មោះ សូល។

⁵⁹And they stoned Stephen, calling upon God, and saying, Lord Jesus, receive my spirit.

⁵⁹នៅពេលគេគប់ដុំថ្មសម្លាប់នោះលោកស្ទេផានទូលអង្វរថា៖ «ព្រះអម្ចាស់យេស៊ូអើយសូមទទួលវិញ្ញាណរបស់ទូលបង្គំផង!»។

⁶⁰And he kneeled down, and cried with a loud voice, Lord, lay not this sin to their charge. And when he had said this, he fell asleep.

⁶⁰បន្ទាប់មកលោកលុតជង្គង់ចុះ ហើយបន្លឺសំឡេងខ្លាំងៗថា៖ «ព្រះអម្ចាស់អើយ! សូមកុំប្រកាន់ទោសគេ ព្រោះតែអំពើបាបនេះធ្វើអ្វី»។ កាលបានទូលដូច្នោះហើយ លោកក៏ផុតដង្ហើមទៅ។
