¹James, a servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ, to the twelve tribes which are scattered abroad, greeting.

¹ខ្ញុំ យ៉ាកុប ជាអ្នកបំរើព្រះជាម្ចាស់ និង ជាអ្នកបំរើព្រះអម្ចាស់យេស៊ូគ្រិស្ដ សូមជំរាបមកកុលសម្ព័ន្ធ ទាំងដប់ពីរ ដែលបែកខ្ញែកគ្នាក្នុងពិភពលោកទាំងមូល សូមជ្រាប។ ការល្បងជំនឿ និង ការល្បួង

²My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations;

²បងប្អូនអើយ ទុក្ខលំបាកគ្រប់យ៉ាង ដែលបងប្អូនត្រូវឆ្លងកាត់នោះ សូមចាត់ទុកថាជាការដែលធ្វើអោយបងប្អូនមានអំណរដ៏បរិបូណ៌វិញ

³Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.

³ដោយដឹងថា ការល្បងល មើលជំនឿរបស់បងប្អូន នឹងនាំអោយបងប្អូនចេះស៊ូទ្រាំ។

⁴But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.

⁴ក៏ប៉ុន្ដែ ត្រូវអោយការស៊ូទ្រាំនេះ បង្កើតចេញជាផលផ្លែដ៏ល្អគ្រប់លក្ខណៈ ដើម្បីអោយបងប្អូនបានគ្រប់លក្ខណៈ មានគុណសម្បត្ដិល្អសព្វគ្រប់ ឥតខ្វះត្រង់ណាឡើយ។

⁵If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.

⁵ក្នុងចំណោមបងប្អូន ប្រសិនបើមាននរណាម្នាក់ខ្វះប្រាជ្ញា អ្នកនោះត្រូវតែទូលសូមពីព្រះជាម្ចាស់។ ព្រះអង្គនឹងប្រទានអោយជាមិនខាន ដ្បិតទ្រង់ប្រទានអោយមនុស្សទាំងអស់ ដោយព្រះហឫទ័យទូលាយ ឥតបន្ទោសឡើយ

⁶But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.

⁶ក៏ប៉ុន្ដែ អ្នកនោះត្រូវទូលសូម ដោយចិត្ដជឿ ឥតសង្ស័យអ្វីសោះ ដ្បិតអ្នកដែលមានចិត្ដសង្ស័យ ប្រៀបបាននឹងរលកសមុទ្រត្រូវបក់បោកចុះឡើងទៅតាមខ្យល់។

⁷For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord.

⁷មនុស្សប្រភេទនេះ មិនត្រូវនឹកស្មានថានឹងបានទទួលអ្វីពីព្រះអម្ចាស់ឡើយ

⁸A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.

⁸ព្រោះគេជាមនុស្សមានចិត្ដពីរ មិនដែលនឹងនក្នុងកិច្ចការទាំងប៉ុន្មានដែលខ្លួនប្រព្រឹត្ដទេ។

⁹Let the brother of low degree rejoice in that he is exalted:

⁹សូមអោយបងប្អូនដែលក្រីក្របានខ្ពស់មុខឡើង ដោយព្រះជាម្ចាស់លើកតម្កើងគេហើយ។

¹⁰But the rich, in that he is made low: because as the flower of the grass he shall pass away.

¹⁰រីឯបងប្អូនដែលជាអ្នកមានវិញ ក៏ត្រូវខ្ពស់មុខឡើងដែរ ដោយព្រះជាម្ចាស់បន្ទាបគេចុះ ដ្បិតអ្នកមាននឹងត្រូវរុះរោយទៅដូចផ្កា។

¹¹For the sun is no sooner risen with a burning heat, but it withereth the grass, and the flower thereof falleth, and the grace of the fashion of it perisheth: so also shall the rich man fade away in his ways.

¹¹លុះដល់ថ្ងៃរះពេញកំដៅហើយ ដើមក៏ស្វិតក្រៀម ផ្កាក៏រុះរោយ ហើយលំអរបស់វាក៏រលាយបាត់ទៅ។ អ្នកមានក៏នឹងត្រូវរុះរោយបាត់ ទៅជាមួយកិច្ចការដែលខ្លួនប្រព្រឹត្ដដែរ។

¹²Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.

¹²អ្នកណាស៊ូទ្រាំនឹងទុក្ខលំបាក អ្នកនោះពិតជាមានសុភមង្គល ដ្បិតក្រោយដែលព្រះជាម្ចាស់បានល្បងលគេមើលរួចហើយគេនឹងទទួលជីវិតទុកជារង្វាន់ ដែលព្រះអង្គបានសន្យានឹងប្រទានអោយអស់អ្នកដែលស្រឡាញ់ព្រះអង្គ។

¹³Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man:

¹³ពេលនរណាម្នាក់ជួបនឹងការល្បួង មិនត្រូវពោលថា «ព្រះជាម្ចាស់ល្បួងខ្ញុំ»ឡើយ ដ្បិតគ្មានអ្វីអាចល្បួងព្រះជាម្ចាស់អោយធ្វើអំពើអាក្រក់បានឡើយ ហើយព្រះអង្គផ្ទាល់ក៏មិនល្បួងនរណាដែរ។

¹⁴But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed.

¹⁴ម្នាក់ៗជួបនឹងការល្បួង មកតែពីចិត្ដលោភលន់របស់ខ្លួនឯងផ្ទាល់ទាក់ទាញ និង លួងលោមបញ្ឆោតប៉ុណ្ណោះ។

¹⁵Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.

¹⁵ចិត្ដលោភលន់រមែងតែងតែបង្កើតអំពើបាប លុះដល់អំពើបាបចំរើនដល់កំរិតហើយក៏បណ្ដាលអោយស្លាប់។

¹⁶Do not err, my beloved brethren.

¹⁶បងប្អូនជាទីស្រឡាញ់អើយ សូមកុំយល់ច្រឡំឡើយ។

¹⁷Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.

¹⁷គ្រប់អំណោយដ៏ល្អវិសេស និង អ្វីៗទាំងប៉ុន្មានដ៏គ្រប់លក្ខណៈដែលយើងបានទទួល សុទ្ធតែមកពីស្ថានលើទាំងអស់ គឺមកពីព្រះបិតាដែលបង្កើតពន្លឺ។ ព្រះអង្គមិនចេះប្រែក្រឡាស់ទេ ហើយនៅក្នុងព្រះអង្គ សូម្បីតែស្រមោលនៃការប្រែប្រួលក៏គ្មានផង។

¹⁸Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures.

¹⁸ព្រះអង្គសព្វព្រះហឫទ័យបង្កើតយើងមក ដោយសារព្រះបន្ទូលនៃសេចក្ដីពិត ដើម្បីអោយយើងបានទៅជាផលដំបូងម៉្យាង នៃអ្វីៗទាំងអស់ដែលព្រះអង្គបង្កើតមក។

¹⁹Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath:

¹⁹បងប្អូនជាទីស្រឡាញ់អើយ បងប្អូនសុទ្ធតែជាអ្នកចេះដឹងហើយ ក៏ប៉ុន្ដែ ម្នាក់ៗត្រូវប្រុងប្រៀបស្ដាប់តែកុំប្រញាប់និយាយ កុំប្រញាប់ខឹង

²⁰For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God.

²⁰ដ្បិតអ្នកមានកំហឹង ពុំអាចធ្វើអ្វីស្របតាមសេចក្ដីសុចរិត របស់ព្រះជាម្ចាស់បានឡើយ។

²¹Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls.

²¹ហេតុនេះ បងប្អូនត្រូវលះបង់ចិត្ដសៅហ្មងគ្រប់យ៉ាង និង ចិត្ដកំរោលឃោរឃៅទាំងប៉ុន្មាននោះចោលទៅហើយកាន់ចិត្ដស្លូតបូត ទទួលព្រះបន្ទូលដែលព្រះជាម្ចាស់បានបណ្ដុះក្នុងបងប្អូន ព្រោះព្រះបន្ទូលនេះអាចនឹងសង្គ្រោះព្រលឹងរបស់បងប្អូន។

²²But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.

²²ចូរប្រតិបត្ដិតាមព្រះបន្ទូល កុំគ្រាន់តែស្ដាប់ទាំងបញ្ឆោតចិត្ដខ្លួនឯងប៉ុណ្ណោះឡើយ។

²³For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass:

²³អ្នកណាស្ដាប់ព្រះបន្ទូលហើយ មិនប្រតិបត្ដិតាម អ្នកនោះប្រៀបបាននឹងមនុស្សម្នាក់ឆ្លុះកញ្ចក់មើលមុខខ្លួន

²⁴For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was.

²⁴លុះពិនិត្យមើលរួចហើយ ក៏ចេញទៅស្រាប់តែភ្លេចមិនដឹងថាមុខខ្លួនឯងដូចម្ដេចផង។

²⁵But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.

²⁵រីឯអ្នកដែលយកចិត្ដទុកដាក់ពិនិត្យមើលក្រឹត្យវិន័យដ៏គ្រប់លក្ខណៈ ជាក្រឹត្យវិន័យដែលផ្ដល់សេរីភាព ហើយព្យាយាមប្រតិបត្ដិតាមយ៉ាងដិតដល់ គឺមិនគ្រាន់តែស្ដាប់ រួចភ្លេចអស់ទៅអ្នកនោះនឹងមានសុភមង្គល ក្នុងកិច្ចការដែលខ្លួនធ្វើជាមិនខាន។

²⁶If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man's religion is vain.

²⁶ប្រសិនបើនរណាម្នាក់ នឹកស្មានថា ខ្លួន ជាអ្នកកាន់សាសនា តែមិនចេះទប់អណ្ដាតខ្លួន អ្នកនោះបញ្ឆោតខ្លួនឯងហើយ ហើយសាសនាដែលខ្លួនកាន់នោះ ក៏គ្មានប្រយោជន៍អ្វីដែរ។

²⁷Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.

²⁷រីឯសាសនាដ៏បរិសុទ្ធ ឥតខ្ចោះនៅចំពោះព្រះភ័ក្ដ្រព្រះបិតាជាម្ចាស់វិញ គឺស្ថិតនៅលើការទៅ សួរសុខទុក្ខក្មេងកំព្រា និង ស្ដ្រីមេម៉ាយដែលមានទុក្ខលំបាក ព្រមទាំងស្ថិតនៅលើការរក្សាខ្លួនអោយផុតពីអំពើសៅហ្មងរបស់លោកីយ៍នេះ។
