¹After these things Jesus went over the sea of Galilee, which is the sea of Tiberias.

²And a great multitude followed him, because they saw his miracles which he did on them that were diseased.

²មានបណ្ដាជនច្រើនកុះករមកតាមព្រះអង្គ ព្រោះគេបានឃើញទីសំគាល់ដែលព្រះអង្គបានធ្វើ ដោយប្រោសអ្នកជំងឺអោយជា។

³And Jesus went up into a mountain, and there he sat with his disciples.

³ព្រះយេស៊ូយាងឡើងទៅលើភ្នំ ហើយគង់នៅទីនោះជាមួយពួកសិស្ស ។

⁴And the passover, a feast of the Jews, was nigh.

⁴ពេលនោះ បុណ្យចម្លង ជាបុណ្យរបស់ជនជាតិយូដា កាន់តែខិតជិតណាស់ហើយ។

⁵When Jesus then lifted up his eyes, and saw a great company come unto him, he saith unto Philip, Whence shall we buy bread, that these may eat?

⁵ព្រះយេស៊ូទតឃើញបណ្ដាជនមកតាមព្រះអង្គច្រើនកុះករយ៉ាងនេះ ទ្រង់មានព្រះបន្ទូលទៅលោកភីលីពថា៖«តើយើងទៅរកទិញអាហារឯណាមកចែកអោយអ្នកទាំងនេះបរិភោគបាន?»។

⁶And this he said to prove him: for he himself knew what he would do.

⁶ព្រះអង្គមានព្រះបន្ទូលដូច្នេះ ដើម្បីល្បងមើលចិត្ដលោកភីលីព តាមពិត ព្រះអង្គជ្រាបអំពីកិច្ចការដែលព្រះអង្គបម្រុងនឹងធ្វើស្រេចទៅហើយ។

⁷Philip answered him, Two hundred pennyworth of bread is not sufficient for them, that every one of them may take a little.

⁷លោកភីលីពទូលថា៖ «ទោះបីយើងយកប្រាក់ពីររយដួង ទៅទិញនំបុ័ងក៏មិនគ្រាន់ដែរ សូម្បីតែម្នាក់មួយដុំតូចៗក៏មិនបានផង»។

⁸One of his disciples, Andrew, Simon Peter's brother, saith unto him,

⁸មានសិស្សម្នាក់ឈ្មោះអនទ្រេ ជាប្អូនរបស់លោកស៊ីម៉ូនពេត្រុសទូលព្រះអង្គថា៖

⁹There is a lad here, which hath five barley loaves, and two small fishes: but what are they among so many?

⁹«នៅទីនេះ ក្មេងប្រុសម្នាក់មាននំបុ័ងប្រាំដុំ និង ត្រីតូចៗពីរកន្ទុយ។ ប៉ុន្ដែ បើមានតែប៉ុណ្ណឹងធ្វើម្ដេចនឹងអោយគ្រាន់សំរាប់មនុស្សដ៏ច្រើនយ៉ាងនេះ?»។

¹⁰And Jesus said, Make the men sit down. Now there was much grass in the place. So the men sat down, in number about five thousand.

¹⁰ព្រះយេស៊ូមានព្រះបន្ទូលថា៖«សុំអោយគេអង្គុយចុះ»។ នៅទីនោះមានស្មៅច្រើន បណ្ដាជនក៏នាំគ្នាអង្គុយមានមនុស្សប្រុសទាំងអស់ប្រមាណប្រាំពាន់នាក់។

¹¹And Jesus took the loaves; and when he had given thanks, he distributed to the disciples, and the disciples to them that were set down; and likewise of the fishes as much as they would.

¹¹ព្រះយេស៊ូយកនំបុ័ងមកកាន់ អរព្រះគុណព្រះជាម្ចាស់រួចប្រទានអោយអ្នកអង្គុយនៅទីនោះ។ រីឯត្រីវិញព្រះអង្គក៏ធ្វើដូច្នោះដែរ ទ្រង់ប្រទានអោយគេ តាមតែម្នាក់ៗចង់បាន។

¹²When they were filled, he said unto his disciples, Gather up the fragments that remain, that nothing be lost.

¹²លុះគេបានបរិភោគឆ្អែតហើយព្រះយេស៊ូមានព្រះបន្ទូលទៅពួកសិស្សថា៖ «ចូរប្រមូលនំបុ័ងដែលនៅសល់ កុំអោយមានបាត់មួយដុំសោះឡើយ»។

¹³Therefore they gathered them together, and filled twelve baskets with the fragments of the five barley loaves, which remained over and above unto them that had eaten.

¹³ពួកសិស្សនាំគ្នារើសសំណល់នំបុ័ងទាំងប្រាំដុំ ដែលបណ្ដាជនបរិភោគសល់ ប្រមូលដាក់បានពេញដប់ពីរល្អី?។

¹⁴Then those men, when they had seen the miracle that Jesus did, said, This is of a truth that prophet that should come into the world.

¹⁴កាលមនុស្សម្នាឃើញទីសំគាល់ដែលព្រះយេស៊ូបានធ្វើនោះ ក៏ពោលថា៖ «លោកនេះពិតជាព្យាការី ដែលត្រូវមកក្នុងពិភពលោកមែន»។

¹⁵When Jesus therefore perceived that they would come and take him by force, to make him a king, he departed again into a mountain himself alone.

¹⁵ព្រះយេស៊ូជ្រាបថាគេបំរុងនឹងចាប់ព្រះអង្គយកទៅតែងតំាងជាស្ដេចដូច្នេះ ព្រះអង្គក៏យាងចាកចេញពីគេឡើងទៅលើភ្នំសាជាថ្មី តែមួយព្រះអង្គឯង។

¹⁶And when even was now come, his disciples went down unto the sea,

¹⁶លុះដល់ល្ងាច ពួកសិស្ស នាំគ្នាចុះទៅមាត់សមុទ្រ។

¹⁷And entered into a ship, and went over the sea toward Capernaum. And it was now dark, and Jesus was not come to them.

¹⁷គេជិះទូកឆ្លងទៅក្រុងកាពើណិម នៅត្រើយម្ខាង។ ពេលនោះ ងងឹតហើយ តែព្រះយេស៊ូពុំទាន់យាងមករកគេនៅឡើយទេ

¹⁸And the sea arose by reason of a great wind that blew.

¹⁸ខ្យល់បក់បោកមកយ៉ាងខ្លាំងបណ្ដាលអោយទឹកសមុទ្រមានរលកធំៗ។

¹⁹So when they had rowed about five and twenty or thirty furlongs, they see Jesus walking on the sea, and drawing nigh unto the ship: and they were afraid.

¹⁹កាលគេចែវទូកបានចម្ងាយប្រមាណជាប្រាំ ឬ ប្រាំមួយគីឡូម៉ែត្រ ស្រាប់តែគេឃើញព្រះយេស៊ូយាងលើសមុទ្រ ចូលមកជិតទូកគេភ័យខ្លាចជាខ្លាំង។

²⁰But he saith unto them, It is I; be not afraid.

²⁰ប៉ុន្ដែ ព្រះយេស៊ូមានព្រះបន្ទូលទៅគេថា៖ «ខ្ញុំទេតើ កុំខ្លាចអី»។

²¹Then they willingly received him into the ship: and immediately the ship was at the land whither they went.

²¹ពួកសិស្សចង់យាងព្រះអង្គចូលមកក្នុងទូក រំពេចនោះ ទូកក៏ទៅដល់ត្រើយ ចំកន្លែងដែលគេបំរុងនឹងទៅ។

²²The day following, when the people which stood on the other side of the sea saw that there was none other boat there, save that one whereinto his disciples were entered, and that Jesus went not with his disciples into the boat, but that his disciples were gone away alone;

²²ថ្ងៃបន្ទាប់មកទៀត បណ្ដាជនដែលនៅត្រើយខាងនាយសមុទ្រ សង្កេតឃើញថា នៅកន្លែងនោះមានទូកតែមួយគត់ ហើយថាព្រះយេស៊ូពុំបានយាងចុះទូកជាមួយពួកសិស្ស ទេ គឺមានតែពួកសិស្សប៉ុណ្ណោះដែលបានជិះទូកចេញទៅ។

²³(Howbeit there came other boats from Tiberias nigh unto the place where they did eat bread, after that the Lord had given thanks:)

²³ប៉ុន្ដែ មានទូកឯទៀតៗមកពីភូមិទីបេរាសចតនៅជិតកន្លែងដែលគេបានបរិភោគនំបុ័ង ក្រោយពីព្រះអម្ចាស់បានអរព្រះគុណ។

²⁴When the people therefore saw that Jesus was not there, neither his disciples, they also took shipping, and came to Capernaum, seeking for Jesus.

²⁴កាលបណ្ដាជនពុំឃើញព្រះយេស៊ូ និង ពួកសិស្សនៅទីនោះទៀតគេក៏នាំគ្នាចុះទូកទាំងនោះឆ្លងទៅក្រុងកាពើណិមតាមរកព្រះអង្គ។

²⁵And when they had found him on the other side of the sea, they said unto him, Rabbi, when camest thou hither?

²⁵បណ្ដាជនបានជួបព្រះអង្គនៅត្រើយម្ខាង គេទូលសួរព្រះអង្គថា៖ «លោកគ្រូ! តើលោកមកដល់ពីអង្កាល់?»។

²⁶Jesus answered them and said, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Ye seek me, not because ye saw the miracles, but because ye did eat of the loaves, and were filled.

²⁶ព្រះយេស៊ូមានព្រះបន្ទូលទៅគេថា៖ «ខ្ញុំសុំប្រាប់អោយអ្នករាល់គ្នាដឹងច្បាស់ថា អ្នករាល់គ្នាតាមរកខ្ញុំ មិនមែនមកពីអ្នករាល់គ្នាបានឃើញទីសំគាល់ទេ គឺមកពីអ្នករាល់គ្នាបានបរិភោគអាហារឆ្អែតតែប៉ុណ្ណោះ។

²⁷Labour not for the meat which perisheth, but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for him hath God the Father sealed.

²⁷កុំធ្វើកិច្ចការ ដើម្បីអោយគ្រាន់តែបានអាហារ ដែលតែងរលួយខូចនោះឡើយ គឺអោយបានអាហារដែលនៅស្ថិតស្ថេរ និង ផ្ដល់ជីវិតអស់កល្បជានិច្ចវិញ ជាអាហារដែលបុត្រមនុស្សនឹងប្រទានអោយអ្នករាល់គ្នា ដ្បិតបុត្រមនុស្សនេះហើយ ដែលព្រះជាម្ចាស់ជាព្រះបិតាបានដៅសញ្ញាសំគាល់»។

²⁸Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God?

²⁸គេនាំគ្នាទូលសួរព្រះអង្គថា៖ «តើអោយយើងខ្ញុំប្រព្រឹត្ដដូចម្ដេចដើម្បីនឹងធ្វើកិច្ចការរបស់ព្រះជាម្ចាស់?»។

²⁹Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.

²⁹ព្រះយេស៊ូមានព្រះបន្ទូលថា៖«កិច្ចការរបស់ព្រះជាម្ចាស់គឺអោយអ្នករាល់គ្នាជឿលើអ្នក ដែលព្រះអង្គបានចាត់អោយមក»។

³⁰They said therefore unto him, What sign shewest thou then, that we may see, and believe thee? what dost thou work?

³⁰គេទូលសួរព្រះអង្គទៀតថា៖ «តើលោកធ្វើការអ្វីជាទីសំគាល់អោយយើងខ្ញុំឃើញ និង ជឿលោក?តើលោកធ្វើកិច្ចការអ្វីខ្លះ?។

³¹Our fathers did eat manna in the desert; as it is written, He gave them bread from heaven to eat.

³¹បុព្វបុរសរបស់យើងបានបរិភោគនំម៉ាណា នៅវាលរហោស្ថាន ដូចមានសេចក្ដីចែងទុកក្នុងគម្ពីរថា "ព្រះអង្គបានប្រទានអោយគេបរិភោគនំបុ័ង ដែលធ្លាក់ពីស្ថានបរមសុខ មក"»។

³²Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Moses gave you not that bread from heaven; but my Father giveth you the true bread from heaven.

³²ព្រះយេស៊ូមានព្រះបន្ទូលទៅគេថា៖ «ខ្ញុំសុំប្រាប់អោយអ្នករាល់គ្នាដឹងច្បាស់ថា មិនមែនលោកម៉ូសេទេ ដែលបានផ្ដល់អាហារ ពីស្ថានបរមសុខមកនោះ គឺព្រះបិតារបស់ខ្ញុំទេតើ ដែលប្រទានអាហារដ៏ពិតប្រាកដពីស្ថានបរមសុខ មកអោយអ្នករាល់គ្នា

³³For the bread of God is he which cometh down from heaven, and giveth life unto the world.

³³ដ្បិតអាហារដែលព្រះជាម្ចាស់ប្រទានអោយនោះ គឺអ្នកដែលចុះពីស្ថានបរមសុខមក ហើយផ្ដល់ជីវិតអោយមនុស្សលោក»។

³⁴Then said they unto him, Lord, evermore give us this bread.

³⁴គេនាំគ្នាទូលព្រះអង្គថា៖ «លោកម្ចាស់អើយ! សូមលោកប្រទានអាហារនោះអោយយើងខ្ញុំ រហូតតទៅ»។

³⁵And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.

³⁵ព្រះយេស៊ូមានព្រះបន្ទូលថា៖ «ខ្ញុំនេះហើយជាអាហារយដែលផ្ដល់ជីវិត។ អ្នកណាមករកខ្ញុំ លែងឃ្លានទៀតហើយ អ្នកណាជឿលើខ្ញុំ ក៏លែងស្រេកទៀតដែរ។

³⁶But I said unto you, That ye also have seen me, and believe not.

³⁶ប៉ុន្ដែ ខ្ញុំបាននិយាយប្រាប់អ្នករាល់គ្នារួចហើយថា "អ្នករាល់គ្នាបានឃើញខ្ញុំ តែអ្នករាល់គ្នាមិនជឿទេ"។

³⁷All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.

³⁷អស់អ្នកដែលព្រះបិតាប្រទានមកខ្ញុំតែងតែមករកខ្ញុំ ហើយខ្ញុំមិនបោះបង់ចោលអ្នកដែលមករកខ្ញុំជាដាច់ខាត

³⁸For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me.

³⁸ដ្បិតខ្ញុំចុះពីស្ថានបរមសុខមក ដើម្បីធ្វើតាមព្រះហឫទ័យរបស់ព្រះអង្គដែលបានចាត់ខ្ញុំអោយមក គឺពុំមែនធ្វើតាមបំណងចិត្ដរបស់ខ្ញុំទេ។

³⁹And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day.

³⁹រីឯព្រះអង្គដែលបានចាត់ខ្ញុំអោយមកនោះ ទ្រង់មិនសព្វព្រះហឫទ័យអោយនរណាម្នាក់ ក្នុងបណ្ដាអស់អ្នកដែលព្រះអង្គប្រទានមកខ្ញុំត្រូវវិនាសអន្ដរាយឡើយ តែព្រះអង្គសព្វព្រះហឫទ័យអោយខ្ញុំប្រោសគេ អោយមានជីវិតរស់ឡើងវិញ នៅថ្ងៃចុងក្រោយបំផុត។

⁴⁰And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.

⁴⁰ព្រះបិតារបស់ខ្ញុំសព្វព្រះហឫទ័យអោយអស់អ្នកដែលបានឃើញព្រះបុត្រា ហើយជឿលើព្រះអង្គមានជីវិតអស់កល្បជានិច្ច។ ខ្ញុំនឹងប្រោសអ្នកនោះអោយមានជីវិតរស់ឡើងវិញ នៅថ្ងៃចុងក្រោយបំផុតផង»។

⁴¹The Jews then murmured at him, because he said, I am the bread which came down from heaven.

⁴¹ជនជាតិយូដារអ៊ូរទាំពីព្រះយេស៊ូ ព្រោះព្រះអង្គមានព្រះបន្ទូលថា "ខ្ញុំជាអាហារដែលចុះមកពីស្ថានបរមសុខ "។

⁴²And they said, Is not this Jesus, the son of Joseph, whose father and mother we know? how is it then that he saith, I came down from heaven?

⁴²គេពោលថា៖ «អ្នកនេះឈ្មោះយេស៊ូជាកូនរបស់លោកយ៉ូសែបទេតើ! យើងស្គាល់ទាំងឪពុកទាំងម្ដាយ ម្ដេចក៏គាត់ពោលថាគាត់ចុះមកពីស្ថានបរមសុខដូច្នេះ?»។

⁴³Jesus therefore answered and said unto them, Murmur not among yourselves.

⁴³ព្រះយេស៊ូមានព្រះបន្ទូលទៅគេថា៖ «ឈប់នាំគ្នារអ៊ូរទំាទៅ!។

⁴⁴No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.

⁴⁴ប្រសិនបើព្រះបិតាដែលចាត់ខ្ញុំអោយមកមិនទាក់ទាញចិត្ដគេទេ គ្មាននរណាម្នាក់អាចមករកខ្ញុំបានឡើយ។ រីឯខ្ញុំខ្ញុំនឹងប្រោសអ្នកនោះអោយមានជីវិតរស់ឡើងវិញ នៅថ្ងៃចុងក្រោយបំផុត។

⁴⁵It is written in the prophets, And they shall be all taught of God. Every man therefore that hath heard, and hath learned of the Father, cometh unto me.

⁴⁵ក្នុងគម្ពីរព្យាការី មានចែងទុកមកថា"ព្រះជាម្ចាស់នឹងប្រៀនប្រដៅមនុស្សទាំងអស់"។ អស់អ្នកដែលបានស្ដាប់ព្រះបិតា ហើយទទួលយកការប្រៀនប្រដៅរបស់ព្រះអង្គ មុខជាមករកខ្ញុំពុំខាន។

⁴⁶Not that any man hath seen the Father, save he which is of God, he hath seen the Father.

⁴⁶សេចក្ដីនេះពុំមែនមានន័យថា មាននរណាម្នាក់បានឃើញព្រះបិតាឡើយ លើកលែងតែអ្នកមកពីព្រះជាម្ចាស់ប៉ុណ្ណោះគឺអ្នកនោះហើយដែលបានឃើញព្រះអង្គ។

⁴⁷Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.

⁴⁷ខ្ញុំសុំប្រាប់អោយអ្នករាល់គ្នាដឹងច្បាស់ថា អ្នកណាជឿ អ្នកនោះមានជីវិតអស់កល្បជានិច្ច។

⁴⁸I am that bread of life.

⁴⁸ខ្ញុំនេះហើយជាអាហារដែលផ្ដល់ជីវិត។

⁴⁹Your fathers did eat manna in the wilderness, and are dead.

⁴⁹បុព្វបុរសរបស់អ្នករាល់គ្នាបានបរិភោគនំម៉ាណា នៅវាលរហោស្ថាន ហើយទទួលមរណភាពអស់ទៅ។

⁵⁰This is the bread which cometh down from heaven, that a man may eat thereof, and not die.

⁵⁰រីឯអាហារដែលចុះមកពីស្ថានបរមសុខ មានប្រសិទ្ធភាពបែបនេះ គឺអ្នកណាបរិភោគអ្នកនោះមិនស្លាប់ឡើយ។

⁵¹I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.

⁵¹ខ្ញុំនេះហើយជាអាហារដែលមានជីវិត ចុះមកពីស្ថានបរមសុខ។ អ្នកណាបរិភោគអាហារនេះ នឹងរស់នៅអស់កល្បជានិច្ច។ អាហារដែលខ្ញុំនឹងអោយនោះ គឺខ្លួនខ្ញុំ ផ្ទាល់ដែលត្រូវបូជាសំរាប់អោយមនុស្សលោកមានជីវិត»។

⁵²The Jews therefore strove among themselves, saying, How can this man give us his flesh to eat?

⁵²ជនជាតិយូដាទាស់ទែងគ្នាយ៉ាងខ្លាំង ហើយគេនិយាយថា៖ «តើអ្នកនេះអាចអោយខ្លួនគាត់ផ្ទាល់ មកយើងបរិភោគដូចម្ដេចកើត?»។

⁵³Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you.

⁵³ព្រះយេស៊ូមានព្រះបន្ទូលទៅគេថា៖ «ខ្ញុំសុំប្រាប់អោយអ្នករាល់គ្នាដឹងច្បាស់ថា ប្រសិនបើអ្នករាល់គ្នាមិនពិសាសាច់ និង លោហិតរបស់បុត្រមនុស្ស ទេ អ្នករាល់គ្នាគ្មានជីវិតក្នុងខ្លួនឡើយ។

⁵⁴Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.

⁵⁴អ្នកណាពិសាសាច់ និង លោហិតរបស់ខ្ញុំ អ្នកនោះមានជីវិតអស់កល្បជានិច្ច ហើយខ្ញុំក៏នឹងប្រោសគេអោយមានជីវិតរស់ឡើងវិញ នៅថ្ងៃចុងក្រោយបំផុតផង។

⁵⁵For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed.

⁵⁵សាច់របស់ខ្ញុំជាអាហារដ៏ពិតប្រាកដ លោហិតរបស់ខ្ញុំក៏ជាភេសជ្ជៈដ៏ពិតប្រាកដដែរ។

⁵⁶He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him.

⁵⁶អ្នកណាពិសាសាច់ និង លោហិតរបស់ខ្ញុំ អ្នកនោះស្ថិតនៅក្នុងខ្ញុំ ហើយខ្ញុំក៏ស្ថិតនៅក្នុងអ្នកនោះដែរ។

⁵⁷As the living Father hath sent me, and I live by the Father: so he that eateth me, even he shall live by me.

⁵⁷ព្រះបិតាដែលបានចាត់ខ្ញុំអោយមក ទ្រង់មានព្រះជន្មរស់ ហើយខ្ញុំមានជីវិតដោយសារព្រះអង្គយ៉ាងណាអ្នកបរិភោគខ្ញុំ ក៏នឹងមានជីវិតរស់ ដោយសារខ្ញុំយ៉ាងនោះដែរ។

⁵⁸This is that bread which came down from heaven: not as your fathers did eat manna, and are dead: he that eateth of this bread shall live for ever.

⁵⁸អាហារដែលបានចុះពីស្ថានបរមសុខមកមានប្រសិទ្ធភាពខុសពីអាហារដែលបុព្វបុរស របស់អ្នករាល់គ្នាបានបរិភោគ ដ្បិតលោកទទួលមរណភាពអស់ទៅហើយ។ រីឯអ្នកដែលបរិភោគអាហារនេះនឹងរស់នៅអស់កល្បជានិច្ច»។

⁵⁹These things said he in the synagogue, as he taught in Capernaum.

⁵⁹ព្រះយេស៊ូមានព្រះបន្ទូលទាំងនេះ នៅពេលព្រះអង្គបង្រៀនគេក្នុងសាលាប្រជុំ នៅក្រុងកាពើណិម។

⁶⁰Many therefore of his disciples, when they had heard this, said, This is an hard saying; who can hear it?

⁶⁰ក្រោយពីបានស្ដាប់ព្រះបន្ទូលរបស់ព្រះអង្គហើយ ក្នុងចំណោមសិស្ស មានគ្នាច្រើនពោលថា៖ «ពាក្យទាំងនេះទាស់ត្រចៀកណាស់ តើនរណាអាចទ្រាំស្ដាប់បាន?»។

⁶¹When Jesus knew in himself that his disciples murmured at it, he said unto them, Doth this offend you?

⁶¹ព្រះយេស៊ូឈ្វេងយល់ថា ពួកសិស្សរអ៊ូរទាំពីពាក្យទាំងនេះ ព្រះអង្គមានព្រះបន្ទូលទៅគេថា៖ «តើពាក្យទាំងនេះនាំអោយអ្នករាល់គ្នារវាតចិត្ដ បាត់ជំនឿឬ?

⁶²What and if ye shall see the Son of man ascend up where he was before?

⁶²ចុះបើអ្នករាល់គ្នាឃើញបុត្រមនុស្ស ឡើងទៅស្ថានដែលលោកនៅពីមុនវិញ តើចិត្ដអ្នករាល់គ្នានឹងទៅជាយ៉ាងណា?។

⁶³It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.

⁶³មានតែព្រះវិញ្ញាណទេដែលផ្ដល់ជីវិត និស្ស័យលោកីយ៍គ្មានប្រយោជន៍អ្វីឡើយ។ រីឯពាក្យទាំងប៉ុន្មានដែលខ្ញុំបាននិយាយប្រាប់អ្នករាល់គ្នា សុទ្ធតែចេញមកពីព្រះវិញ្ញាណដែលផ្ដល់ជីវិត។

⁶⁴But there are some of you that believe not. For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were that believed not, and who should betray him.

⁶⁴ប៉ុន្ដែក្នុងចំណោមអ្នករាល់គ្នា អ្នកខ្លះគ្មានជំនឿទេ»។ តាំងពីដើមដំបូងមក ព្រះយេស៊ូស្គាល់អស់អ្នកដែលគ្មានជំនឿ ព្រមទាំងស្គាល់អ្នកដែលនឹងក្បត់ព្រះអង្គ រួចស្រេចទៅហើយ។

⁶⁵And he said, Therefore said I unto you, that no man can come unto me, except it were given unto him of my Father.

⁶⁵ព្រះអង្គមានព្រះបន្ទូលទៀតថា៖ «ហេតុនេះបានជាខ្ញុំប្រាប់អ្នករាល់គ្នារួចមកហើយថា ប្រសិនបើព្រះបិតាមិនប្រោសប្រទានទេ នោះគ្មាននរណាអាចមករកខ្ញុំបានឡើយ»។

⁶⁶From that time many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with him.

⁶⁶ចាប់ពីពេលនោះមក ក្នុងចំណោមសិស្ស មានគ្នាច្រើនដកខ្លួនថយ ឈប់តាមព្រះអង្គទៀត។

⁶⁷Then said Jesus unto the twelve, Will ye also go away?

⁶⁷ព្រះយេស៊ូក៏មានព្រះបន្ទូលសួរសិស្សទាំងដប់ពីររូបថា៖ «ចុះអ្នករាល់គ្នាវិញ តើអ្នករាល់គ្នាចង់ចេញទៅដែរឬ?»។

⁶⁸Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life.

⁶⁸លោកស៊ីម៉ូនពេត្រុសទូលព្រះអង្គថា៖ «បពិត្រព្រះអម្ចាស់ តើអោយយើងខ្ញុំទៅរកនរណាវិញ? ព្រះបន្ទូលរបស់ព្រះអង្គផ្ដល់ជីវិតអស់កល្បជានិច្ច។

⁶⁹And we believe and are sure that thou art that Christ, the Son of the living God.

⁶⁹យើងខ្ញុំជឿហើយដឹងថា ព្រះអង្គពិតជាព្រះដ៏វិសុទ្ធដែលព្រះជាម្ចាស់ចាត់អោយមក »។

⁷⁰Jesus answered them, Have not I chosen you twelve, and one of you is a devil?

⁷⁰ព្រះយេស៊ូមានព្រះបន្ទូលទៅគេថា៖ «គឺខ្ញុំផ្ទាល់ដែលបានជ្រើសរើសអ្នកទាំងដប់ពីរមក ក៏ប៉ុន្ដែ ក្នុងចំណោមអ្នករាល់គ្នាមានម្នាក់ជាមារ»។

⁷¹He spake of Judas Iscariot the son of Simon: for he it was that should betray him, being one of the twelve.

⁷¹ព្រះអង្គមានព្រះបន្ទូលសំដៅទៅលើយូដាស ជាកូនលោកស៊ីម៉ូនអ៊ីស្ការីយ៉ុត។ យូដាសនេះហើយដែលនឹងក្បត់ព្រះអង្គ ទោះបីគាត់ជាសិស្សមួយរូប ក្នុងចំណោមសិស្សទាំងដប់ពីរក៏ដោយ។
