¹After two days was the feast of the passover, and of unleavened bread: and the chief priests and the scribes sought how they might take him by craft, and put him to death.

¹នៅពីរថ្ងៃមុនបុណ្យចម្លង និង បុណ្យនំបុ័ងឥតមេ ក្រុមនាយកបូជាចារ្យ និង ពួកអាចារ្យ នាំគ្នារកមធ្យោបាយ ដើម្បីចាប់ព្រះយេស៊ូដោយកលល្បិចយកទៅធ្វើគុត។

²But they said, Not on the feast day, lest there be an uproar of the people.

²ប៉ុន្ដែ គេនិយាយគ្នាថា៖«កុំចាប់ក្នុងពេលបុណ្យនេះឡើយ ក្រែងកើតចលាចលក្នុងចំណោមប្រជាជន»។

³And being in Bethany in the house of Simon the leper, as he sat at meat, there came a woman having an alabaster box of ointment of spikenard very precious; and she brake the box, and poured it on his head.

³ព្រះយេស៊ូគង់នៅភូមិបេថានី ក្នុងផ្ទះបុរសម្នាក់ឈ្មោះស៊ីម៉ូនជាមនុស្សឃ្លង់។ ពេលព្រះអង្គកំពុងសោយព្រះស្ងោយ មានស្ដ្រីម្នាក់ចូលមក ទាំងកាន់ដបថ្មកែវផង។ នៅក្នុងដបនោះ មានប្រេងទេព្វិរូសុទ្ធដ៏មានតម្លៃលើសលប់។ នាងបំបែកដបថ្មកែវ ហើយចាក់ប្រេងក្រអូបលើព្រះសិរសារបស់ព្រះយេស៊ូ។

⁴And there were some that had indignation within themselves, and said, Why was this waste of the ointment made?

⁴មានអ្នកខ្លះនៅទីនោះ ទាស់ចិត្ដយ៉ាងខ្លាំង គេនិយាយគ្នាថា៖ «ម្ដេចក៏ខ្ជះខ្ជាយប្រេងក្រអូបដូច្នេះ!

⁵For it might have been sold for more than three hundred pence, and have been given to the poor. And they murmured against her.

⁵បើយកប្រេងនេះទៅលក់ មុខជាបានប្រាក់ជាងបីរយដួង ហើយចែកទានដល់ជនក្រីក្រវិញ»។ អ្នកទាំងនោះខឹងនឹងនាងណាស់។

⁶And Jesus said, Let her alone; why trouble ye her? she hath wrought a good work on me.

⁶ព្រះយេស៊ូមានព្រះបន្ទូលថា៖ «ទុកអោយនាងធ្វើតាមចិត្ដនាងទៅ! ហេតុអ្វីបានជារករឿងនាង! នាងបានធ្វើអំពើដ៏ល្អចំពោះខ្ញុំ។

⁷For ye have the poor with you always, and whensoever ye will ye may do them good: but me ye have not always.

⁷អ្នករាល់គ្នាមានអ្នកក្រីក្រនៅជាមួយរហូត អ្នករាល់គ្នាអាចធ្វើទានដល់គេ តាមតែចិត្ដអ្នករាល់គ្នាចង់ រីឯខ្ញុំវិញ ខ្ញុំមិននៅជាមួយអ្នករាល់គ្នារហូតទេ។

⁸She hath done what she could: she is come aforehand to anoint my body to the burying.

⁸ស្ដ្រីនេះបានធ្វើតាមសមត្ថភាពរបស់នាង គឺនាងលាបប្រេងក្រអូបលើរូបកាយខ្ញុំ ទុកជាមុនសំរាប់យកទៅបញ្ចុះក្នុងផ្នូរ។

⁹Verily I say unto you, Wheresoever this gospel shall be preached throughout the whole world, this also that she hath done shall be spoken of for a memorial of her.

⁹ខ្ញុំសុំប្រាប់អោយអ្នករាល់គ្នាដឹងច្បាស់ថា នៅគ្រប់ទីកន្លែងក្នុងពិភពលោកទាំងមូលកាលណាគេប្រកាសដំណឹងល្អ គេក៏នឹងតំណាលអំពីកិច្ចការដែលនាងបានធ្វើនេះដែរ ដើម្បីរំលឹកអំពីនាង។

¹⁰And Judas Iscariot, one of the twelve, went unto the chief priests, to betray him unto them.

¹⁰យូដាសអ៊ីស្ការីយ៉ុត ជាសិស្ស ម្នាក់ក្នុងក្រុមដប់ពីររូបបានទៅជួបពួកនាយកបូជាចារ្យ ដើម្បីគិតគូរនាំគេទៅចាប់ព្រះយេស៊ូ។

¹¹And when they heard it, they were glad, and promised to give him money. And he sought how he might conveniently betray him.

¹¹កាលអ្នកទាំងនោះស្ដាប់ពាក្យយូដាសនិយាយ គេសប្បាយចិត្ដណាស់ ហើយសន្យាថានឹងអោយប្រាក់គាត់។ យូដាសក៏រកឱកាសល្អដើម្បីនាំគេទៅចាប់ព្រះអង្គ។

¹²And the first day of unleavened bread, when they killed the passover, his disciples said unto him, Where wilt thou that we go and prepare that thou mayest eat the passover?

¹²នៅថ្ងៃដំបូងនៃពិធីបុណ្យនំបុ័ងឥតមេ ជាថ្ងៃដែលគេត្រូវសម្លាប់កូនចៀមធ្វើយញ្ញបូជា សំរាប់បុណ្យចម្លង ពួកសិស្ស ទូលសួរព្រះយេស៊ូថា៖ «តើព្រះគ្រូចង់អោយយើងខ្ញុំរៀបចំពិធីជប់លៀងជូនក្នុងឱកាសបុណ្យចម្លង នៅកន្លែងណា?»។

¹³And he sendeth forth two of his disciples, and saith unto them, Go ye into the city, and there shall meet you a man bearing a pitcher of water: follow him.

¹³ព្រះអង្គចាត់សិស្ស ពីររូបអោយទៅ ដោយមានព្រះបន្ទូលថា៖ «ចូរអ្នកទៅទីក្រុង អ្នកនឹងជួបបុរសម្នាក់លីក្អមទឹក។ ចូរដើរតាមគាត់ទៅ

¹⁴And wheresoever he shall go in, say ye to the goodman of the house, The Master saith, Where is the guestchamber, where I shall eat the passover with my disciples?

¹⁴គាត់ចូលផ្ទះណា អ្នកត្រូវនិយាយទៅម្ចាស់ផ្ទះនោះថា លោកគ្រូមានប្រសាសន៍ថា "បន្ទប់ដែលខ្ញុំនឹងត្រូវជប់លៀងជាមួយពួកសិស្ស ក្នុងពេលបុណ្យចម្លង នៅឯណា?"។

¹⁵And he will shew you a large upper room furnished and prepared: there make ready for us.

¹⁵ម្ចាស់ផ្ទះនឹងបង្ហាញបន្ទប់មួយយ៉ាងធំនៅជាន់ខាង លើ ដែលមានប្រដាប់ប្រដាសព្វគ្រប់រៀបចំជាស្រេច ចូររៀបចំម្ហូបអាហារសំរាប់យើង នៅក្នុងបន្ទប់នោះចុះ»។

¹⁶And his disciples went forth, and came into the city, and found as he had said unto them: and they made ready the passover.

¹⁶សិស្ស ទាំងពីរក៏ចេញទៅ លុះដល់ទីក្រុង គេបានឃើញដូចព្រះយេស៊ូមានព្រះបន្ទូលប្រាប់មែន គេក៏រៀបចំម្ហូបអាហារសំរាប់បុណ្យចម្លង។

¹⁷And in the evening he cometh with the twelve.

¹⁷លុះដល់ល្ងាច ព្រះអង្គយាងមកដល់ជាមួយសិស្សទាំងដប់ពីររូប។

¹⁸And as they sat and did eat, Jesus said, Verily I say unto you, One of you which eateth with me shall betray me.

¹⁸នៅពេលព្រះយេស៊ូរួមតុ សោយព្រះស្ងោយជាមួយពួកសិស្ស ព្រះអង្គមានព្រះបន្ទូលថា៖ «ខ្ញុំសុំប្រាប់អ្នករាល់គ្នាអោយបានដឹងច្បាស់ថា ក្នុងចំណោមអ្នករាល់គ្នាដែលបរិភោគជាមួយខ្ញុំ មានម្នាក់នឹងនាំគេមកចាប់ខ្ញុំ»។

¹⁹And they began to be sorrowful, and to say unto him one by one, Is it I? and another said, Is it I?

¹⁹ពួកសិស្សព្រួយចិត្ដក្រៃលែង គេទូលសួរព្រះអង្គបន្ដបន្ទាប់គ្នាថា៖ «តើទូលបង្គំឬ?»។

²⁰And he answered and said unto them, It is one of the twelve, that dippeth with me in the dish.

²⁰ព្រះអង្គមានព្រះបន្ទូលទៅគេថា៖ «គឺម្នាក់ក្នុងចំណោមអ្នកទាំងដប់ពីរ ដែលកំពុងជ្រលក់នំបុ័ងក្នុងចានជាមួយខ្ញុំនេះហើយ។

²¹The Son of man indeed goeth, as it is written of him: but woe to that man by whom the Son of man is betrayed! good were it for that man if he had never been born.

²¹បុត្រមនុស្ស ត្រូវតែស្លាប់ ដូចមានចែងទុកក្នុងគម្ពីរអំពីលោកស្រាប់ហើយ។ ប៉ុន្ដែ អ្នកដែលនាំគេមកចាប់បុត្រមនុស្ស នឹងត្រូវវេទនាជាមិនខាន។ ចំពោះអ្នកនោះ បើមិនបានកើតមកទេទើបប្រសើរជាង»។

²²And as they did eat, Jesus took bread, and blessed, and brake it, and gave to them, and said, Take, eat: this is my body.

²²នៅពេលកំពុងបរិភោគ ព្រះយេស៊ូយកនំបុ័ងមកកាន់ ព្រះអង្គសរសើរតម្កើងព្រះជាម្ចាស់ ហើយកាច់ប្រទានអោយគេ ទាំងមានព្រះបន្ទូលថា៖ «សុំពិសាចុះនេះជារូបកាយរបស់ខ្ញុំ»។

²³And he took the cup, and when he had given thanks, he gave it to them: and they all drank of it.

²³បន្ទាប់មក ព្រះអង្គយកពែងមកកាន់ អរព្រះគុណព្រះជាម្ចាស់ រួចប្រទានអោយពួកសិស្ស ពួកសិស្សក៏បរិភោគទាំងអស់គ្នា។

²⁴And he said unto them, This is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many.

²⁴ព្រះអង្គមានព្រះបន្ទូលទៅគេថា៖ «នេះជាលោហិតរបស់ខ្ញុំគឺលោហិតនៃសម្ពន្ធមេត្រី ដែលត្រូវបង្ហូរសំរាប់មនុស្សទាំងអស់។

²⁵Verily I say unto you, I will drink no more of the fruit of the vine, until that day that I drink it new in the kingdom of God.

²⁵ខ្ញុំសុំប្រាប់អោយអ្នករាល់គ្នាដឹងច្បាស់ថា ខ្ញុំនឹងមិនពិសាស្រាទំពំាងបាយជូរទៀតឡើយ រហូតដល់ថ្ងៃដែលខ្ញុំនឹងពិសាស្រាទំពំាងបាយជូរថ្មី នៅក្នុងព្រះរាជ្យព្រះជាម្ចាស់»។

²⁶And when they had sung an hymn, they went out into the mount of Olives.

²⁶ក្រោយពីបានច្រៀងទំនុកតម្កើង រួចហើយព្រះយេស៊ូយាងឆ្ពោះទៅភ្នំដើមអូលីវជាមួយពួកសិស្ស។

²⁷And Jesus saith unto them, All ye shall be offended because of me this night: for it is written, I will smite the shepherd, and the sheep shall be scattered.

²⁷ព្រះយេស៊ូមានព្រះបន្ទូលទៅពួកសិស្ស ថា៖«អ្នកទាំងអស់គ្នានឹងបោះបង់ខ្ញុំចោល ដ្បិតមានចែងទុកមកថា "យើងនឹងវាយសម្លាប់គង្វាល ហើយចៀមនឹងត្រូវខ្ចាត់ខ្ចាយ"។

²⁸But after that I am risen, I will go before you into Galilee.

²⁸ក៏ប៉ុន្ដែ ក្រោយពេលខ្ញុំមានជីវិតរស់ឡើងវិញ ខ្ញុំនឹងទៅស្រុកកាលីឡេ មុនអ្នករាល់គ្នា»។

²⁹But Peter said unto him, Although all shall be offended, yet will not I.

²⁹លោកពេត្រុសទូលព្រះអង្គថា៖ «ទោះបីអ្នកឯទៀតៗបោះបង់ព្រះអង្គចោលក៏ដោយ ក៏ទូលបង្គំមិនបោះបង់ចោលព្រះអង្គជាដាច់ខាត»។

³⁰And Jesus saith unto him, Verily I say unto thee, That this day, even in this night, before the cock crow twice, thou shalt deny me thrice.

³⁰ព្រះយេស៊ូមានព្រះបន្ទូលទៅគាត់ថា៖ «ខ្ញុំសុំប្រាប់អោយអ្នកដឹងច្បាស់ថានៅយប់នេះឯង មុនមាន់រងាវពីរដង អ្នកនឹងបដិសេធបីដងថា មិនស្គាល់ខ្ញុំ»។

³¹But he spake the more vehemently, If I should die with thee, I will not deny thee in any wise. Likewise also said they all.

³¹ប៉ុន្ដែលោកពេត្រុសប្រកែករឹតតែខ្លាំងឡើងថា៖ «ទោះបីទូលបង្គំត្រូវស្លាប់ជាមួយព្រះអង្គក៏ដោយ ក៏ទូលបង្គំមិនបដិសេធថាមិនស្គាល់ព្រះអង្គជាដាច់ខាត»។ សិស្សឯទៀតៗក៏ទូលព្រះអង្គដូចលោកពេត្រុសដែរ។

³²And they came to a place which was named Gethsemane: and he saith to his disciples, Sit ye here, while I shall pray.

³²ព្រះអង្គយាងទៅដល់កន្លែងមួយ ឈ្មោះកេតសេម៉ានី ជាមួយពួកសិស្ស ។ ព្រះអង្គមានព្រះបន្ទូលថា៖ «ចូរអ្នករាល់គ្នាអង្គុយនៅទីនេះហើយ ចាំខ្ញុំអធិស្ឋាន សិន»។

³³And he taketh with him Peter and James and John, and began to be sore amazed, and to be very heavy;

³³ព្រះអង្គនាំលោកពេត្រុសលោកយ៉ាកុប និង លោកយ៉ូហាន ទៅជាមួយ។ ពេលនោះ ព្រះអង្គចាប់ផ្ដើមភ័យតក់ស្លុត ព្រមទាំងចុកចាប់អន្ទះសាពន់ប្រមាណ។

³⁴And saith unto them, My soul is exceeding sorrowful unto death: tarry ye here, and watch.

³⁴ព្រះអង្គមានព្រះបន្ទូលទៅកាន់អ្នកទាំងបីថា៖ «ខ្ញុំព្រួយចិត្ដយ៉ាងខ្លាំងស្ទើរតែស្លាប់ អ្នករាល់គ្នានៅទីនេះសិនហើយ ចូរប្រុងស្មារតី»។

³⁵And he went forward a little, and fell on the ground, and prayed that, if it were possible, the hour might pass from him.

³⁵ព្រះអង្គយាងទៅមុខបន្ដិច ក្រាបចុះដល់ដីទូលអង្វរសូមអោយទុក្ខលំបាកនេះ ចេញឆ្ងាយពីព្រះអង្គទៅ បើសិនជាអាចកន្លងផុតទៅបាន។

³⁶And he said, Abba, Father, all things are possible unto thee; take away this cup from me: nevertheless not what I will, but what thou wilt.

³⁶ព្រះអង្គទូលថា៖ «អ័ប្បា ឱព្រះបិតាអើយ! ព្រះអង្គអាចសំរេចគ្រប់កិច្ចការទាំងអស់បាន សូមដកយកពែងនៃទុក្ខលំបាកនេះ ចេញអោយឆ្ងាយពីទូលបង្គំទៅ ប៉ុន្ដែ សូមកុំតាមបំណងចិត្ដទូលបង្គំឡើយ គឺសូមអោយបានសំរេចតាមព្រះហឫទ័យព្រះអង្គវិញ»។

³⁷And he cometh, and findeth them sleeping, and saith unto Peter, Simon, sleepest thou? couldest not thou watch one hour?

³⁷ព្រះអង្គយាងទៅរកពួកសិស្ស ឃើញគេកំពុងតែដេកលក់ ព្រះអង្គមានព្រះបន្ទូលទៅលោកពេត្រុសថា៖«ស៊ីម៉ូនអើយ ម្ដេចក៏អ្នកដេកលក់ដូច្នេះ? អ្នកនៅស៊ូទ្រំាប្រុងស្មារតី សូម្បីតែមួយម៉ោងក៏មិនបានដែរឬ?

³⁸Watch ye and pray, lest ye enter into temptation. The spirit truly is ready, but the flesh is weak.

³⁸ចូរប្រុងស្មារតី ហើយអធិស្ឋាន កុំអោយចាញ់ការល្បួង វិញ្ញាណរបស់មនុស្សប្រុងប្រៀបជាស្រេចមែន ប៉ុន្ដែ គេនៅទន់ខ្សោយ ព្រោះនិស្ស័យលោកីយ៍»។

³⁹And again he went away, and prayed, and spake the same words.

³⁹ព្រះអង្គយាងចេញទៅឆ្ងាយពីគេសាជាថ្មី ហើយទូលអង្វរ ដោយប្រើពាក្យដដែល។

⁴⁰And when he returned, he found them asleep again, (for their eyes were heavy,) neither wist they what to answer him.

⁴⁰ព្រះអង្គវិលត្រឡប់មករកពួកសិស្សម្ដងទៀត ឃើញគេដេកលក់ដ្បិតគេងងុយពេក បើកភ្នែកមិនរួច មិនដឹងទូលព្រះអង្គដូចម្ដេច។

⁴¹And he cometh the third time, and saith unto them, Sleep on now, and take your rest: it is enough, the hour is come; behold, the Son of man is betrayed into the hands of sinners.

⁴¹ព្រះយេស៊ូវិលមករកគេជាលើក ទីបីមានព្រះបន្ទូលទៅគេថា៖ «អ្នករាល់គ្នានៅតែដេកលក់អ្នករាល់គ្នាសំរាកដល់អង្កាល់ទៀត?ប៉ុណ្ណឹងល្មមហើយ!ឥឡូវនេះ ពេលកំណត់មកដល់ហើយ បុត្រមនុស្សត្រូវគេបញ្ជូនទៅក្នុងកណ្ដាប់ដៃរបស់មនុស្សបាប។

⁴²Rise up, let us go; lo, he that betrayeth me is at hand.

⁴²ចូរក្រោកឡើង យើងនាំគ្នាទៅ ដ្បិតអ្នកដែលនាំគេមកចាប់ខ្ញុំ មកជិតដល់ហើយ!»។

⁴³And immediately, while he yet spake, cometh Judas, one of the twelve, and with him a great multitude with swords and staves, from the chief priests and the scribes and the elders.

⁴³ព្រះអង្គកំពុងតែមានព្រះបន្ទូលនៅឡើយ ស្រាប់តែយូដាសជាសិស្សម្នាក់ ក្នុងចំណោមសិស្សទាំងដប់ពីររូបមកដល់ដោយមានបណ្ដាជនមួយក្រុម កាន់ដាវ កាន់ដំបងមកជាមួយផង។ ពួកនាយកបូជាចារ្យ ពួកអាចារ្យ និង ពួកព្រឹទ្ធាចារ្យ បានចាត់អ្នកទាំងនោះអោយមក។

⁴⁴And he that betrayed him had given them a token, saying, Whomsoever I shall kiss, that same is he; take him, and lead him away safely.

⁴⁴យូដាសដែលនាំគេមកចាប់ព្រះយេស៊ូ បានសន្មតជាមួយអ្នកទាំងនោះនូវសញ្ញាមួយថា៖ «ខ្ញុំថើបអ្នកណា គឺអ្នកនោះហើយ សុំចាប់គាត់នាំយកទៅដោយប្រយ័ត្នប្រយែងអោយមែនទែន»។

⁴⁵And as soon as he was come, he goeth straightway to him, and saith, Master, master; and kissed him.

⁴⁵កាលមកដល់ភ្លាម យូដាសដើរតំរង់មករកព្រះយេស៊ូ ពោលថា៖ «លោកគ្រូ!» រួចគាត់ថើបព្រះអង្គ

⁴⁶And they laid their hands on him, and took him.

⁴⁶ពួកគេនាំគ្នាចាប់ព្រះយេស៊ូ។

⁴⁷And one of them that stood by drew a sword, and smote a servant of the high priest, and cut off his ear.

⁴⁷មានម្នាក់ដែលនៅទីនោះ ហូតដាវកាប់អ្នកបំរើរបស់មហាបូជាចារ្យដាច់ស្លឹកត្រចៀកម្ខាង។

⁴⁸And Jesus answered and said unto them, Are ye come out, as against a thief, with swords and with staves to take me?

⁴⁸ព្រះយេស៊ូមានព្រះបន្ទូលទៅគេថា៖ «ខ្ញុំជាចោរព្រៃឬ បានជាអស់លោក កាន់ដាវ កាន់ដំបង មកចាប់ខ្ញុំដូច្នេះ?។

⁴⁹I was daily with you in the temple teaching, and ye took me not: but the scriptures must be fulfilled.

⁴⁹ជារៀងរាល់ថ្ងៃ ខ្ញុំនៅក្នុងព្រះវិហារ ជាមួយអស់លោកទាំងបង្រៀនផង តែអស់លោកពុំបានចាប់ខ្ញុំទេ។ ការណ៍ទាំងនេះកើតឡើងដើម្បីអោយបានស្របតាមសេចក្ដីដែលមានចែងទុកក្នុងគម្ពីរ»។

⁵⁰And they all forsook him, and fled.

⁵⁰ពេលនោះ ពួកសិស្សបោះបង់ព្រះយេស៊ូចោល ហើយរត់បាត់អស់ទៅ។

⁵¹And there followed him a certain young man, having a linen cloth cast about his naked body; and the young men laid hold on him:

⁵¹មានកំឡោះម្នាក់ដែលបានទៅតាមព្រះអង្គ មានតែសំពត់មួយផ្ទំាងបិទបាំងកាយប៉ុណ្ណោះ គេបានចាប់គាត់ដែរ

⁵²And he left the linen cloth, and fled from them naked.

⁵²តែគាត់ចោលសំពត់រត់ទៅខ្លួនទទេ។

⁵³And they led Jesus away to the high priest: and with him were assembled all the chief priests and the elders and the scribes.

⁵³គេបណ្ដើរព្រះយេស៊ូនាំយកទៅដល់ដំណាក់របស់លោកមហាបូជាចារ្យ ។ ពួកនាយកបូជាចារ្យ ពួកព្រឹទ្ធាចារ្យ និង ពួកអាចារ្យ មកជួបជុំទាំងអស់គ្នានៅទីនោះ។

⁵⁴And Peter followed him afar off, even into the palace of the high priest: and he sat with the servants, and warmed himself at the fire.

⁵⁴លោកពេត្រុសដើរតាមព្រះអង្គពីចម្ងាយ រហូតដល់ខាងក្នុងទីធ្លាដំណាក់មហាបូជាចារ្យ ហើយអង្គុយអំាងភ្លើងជាមួយកងរក្សាព្រះវិហារ ។

⁵⁵And the chief priests and all the council sought for witness against Jesus to put him to death; and found none.

⁵⁵ពួកនាយកបូជាចារ្យ និង ក្រុមប្រឹក្សាជាន់ខ្ពស់ ទាំងមូលនាំគ្នារកពាក្យចោទប្រកាន់ព្រះយេស៊ូ ដើម្បីកាត់ទោសប្រហារជីវិតព្រះអង្គ តែរកមិនបានសោះ។

⁵⁶For many bare false witness against him, but their witness agreed not together.

⁵⁶មនុស្សជាច្រើនបានប្រឌិតរឿងក្លែងក្លាយចោទប្រកាន់ព្រះអង្គ ប៉ុន្ដែ ពាក្យចោទទាំងនោះមិនស្របគ្នាឡើយ។

⁵⁷And there arose certain, and bare false witness against him, saying,

⁵⁷មានអ្នកខ្លះក្រោកឈរឡើង ពោលរឿងក្លែងក្លាយ ចោទប្រកាន់ព្រះអង្គថា៖

⁵⁸We heard him say, I will destroy this temple that is made with hands, and within three days I will build another made without hands.

⁵⁸«យើងបានឮអ្នកនេះពោលថា "ខ្ញុំនឹងរុះព្រះវិហារដែលសង់ឡើងដោយដៃមនុស្សចោល ហើយក្នុងរវាងបីថ្ងៃ ខ្ញុំនឹងសង់ព្រះវិហារមួយផ្សេងទៀត ដែលមិនមែនសង់ដោយដៃមនុស្សទេ"»។

⁵⁹But neither so did their witness agree together.

⁵⁹ប៉ុន្ដែ ទោះបីក្នុងរឿងនេះក៏ដោយ ក៏ពាក្យរបស់គេនៅតែពុំស្របគ្នាដដែល។

⁶⁰And the high priest stood up in the midst, and asked Jesus, saying, Answerest thou nothing? what is it which these witness against thee?

⁶⁰ពេលនោះ លោកមហាបូជាចារ្យក្រោកឈរឡើងនៅមុខក្រុមប្រឹក្សាជាន់ខ្ពស់ សួរព្រះយេស៊ូថា៖ «ម្ដេចក៏អ្នកមិនឆ្លើយនឹងពាក្យចោទប្រកាន់របស់លោកទាំងនេះ?»

⁶¹But he held his peace, and answered nothing. Again the high priest asked him, and said unto him, Art thou the Christ, the Son of the Blessed?

⁶¹ព្រះយេស៊ូនៅស្ងៀម ពុំឆ្លើយតបទាល់តែសោះ។ លោកមហាបូជាចារ្យសួរព្រះអង្គម្ដងទៀតថា៖ «តើអ្នកពិតជាព្រះគ្រិស្ដ ជាព្រះបុត្រារបស់ព្រះដែលយើងសរសើរតម្កើងមែនឬ?»។

⁶²And Jesus said, I am: and ye shall see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven.

⁶²ព្រះយេស៊ូមានព្រះបន្ទូលឆ្លើយថា៖ «មែន គឺខ្ញុំហ្នឹងហើយ។ អស់លោកនឹងឃើញបុត្រមនុស្ស គង់នៅខាងស្ដាំព្រះដ៏មានឫទ្ធានុភាព ហើយនឹងយាងមកជាមួយពពក នៅលើមេឃ»។

⁶³Then the high priest rent his clothes, and saith, What need we any further witnesses?

⁶³លោកមហាបូជាចារ្យឮដូច្នេះ ក៏ហែកអាវរបស់លោក ហើយមានប្រសាសន៍ថា៖ «យើងមិនបាច់រកសាក្សីឯណាទៀតទេ

⁶⁴Ye have heard the blasphemy: what think ye? And they all condemned him to be guilty of death.

⁶⁴អស់លោកឮជននេះពោលពាក្យប្រមាថព្រះជាម្ចាស់ស្រាប់ហើយ តើអស់លោកគិតដូចម្ដេច?»។ គេបានសំរេចចិត្ដទាំងអស់គ្នា កាត់ទោសប្រហារជីវិតព្រះយេស៊ូ។

⁶⁵And some began to spit on him, and to cover his face, and to buffet him, and to say unto him, Prophesy: and the servants did strike him with the palms of their hands.

⁶⁵អ្នកខ្លះនាំគ្នាស្ដោះទឹកមាត់ដាក់ព្រះអង្គ គេគ្របព្រះភ័ក្ដ្រព្រះអង្គ វាយតប់ព្រះអង្គ ហើយសួរថា៖«ទាយមើល៍!»។ កងរក្សាព្រះវិហារយកព្រះយេស៊ូមកទះកំផ្លៀង។

⁶⁶And as Peter was beneath in the palace, there cometh one of the maids of the high priest:

⁶⁶ពេលលោកពេត្រុសនៅក្នុងទីធ្លា មានស្ដ្រីបំរើម្នាក់របស់លោកមហាបូជាចារ្យ មកដល់។

⁶⁷And when she saw Peter warming himself, she looked upon him, and said, And thou also wast with Jesus of Nazareth.

⁶⁷នាងឃើញលោកពេត្រុសកំពុងអំាងភ្លើង ក៏សំឡឹងមើលមុខគាត់អោយបានច្បាស់ រួចពោលថា៖ «អ្នកឯងក៏ជាបក្សពួករបស់យេស៊ូ ជាអ្នកភូមិណាសារ៉ែតដែរ!»។

⁶⁸But he denied, saying, I know not, neither understand I what thou sayest. And he went out into the porch; and the cock crew.

⁶⁸ប៉ុន្ដែលោកប្រកែកឡើងថា៖ «ខ្ញុំមិនដឹងទេ ខ្ញុំមិនយល់ថានាងចង់និយាយអំពីរឿងអ្វីឡើយ»។ លោកពេត្រុសក៏ចេញពីទីនោះ ឆ្ពោះទៅខ្លោងទ្វារខាងក្រៅ ពេលនោះមាន់រងាវឡើង។

⁶⁹And a maid saw him again, and began to say to them that stood by, This is one of them.

⁶⁹ស្ដ្រីបំរើឃើញលោកពេត្រុស ក៏ប្រាប់អស់អ្នកដែលនៅទីនោះម្ដងទៀតថា៖ «អ្នកនេះជាបក្សពួកគេដែរ»។

⁷⁰And he denied it again. And a little after, they that stood by said again to Peter, Surely thou art one of them: for thou art a Galilaean, and thy speech agreeth thereto.

⁷⁰លោកពេត្រុសប្រកែកសាជាថ្មី។ បន្ដិចក្រោយមក អស់អ្នកដែលនៅទីនោះនិយាយទៅលោកពេត្រុសទៀតថា៖ «អ្នកឯងប្រាកដជាបក្សពួកអ្នកទាំងនោះមែន ព្រោះអ្នកឯងជាអ្នកស្រុកកាលីឡេដូចគ្នា»។

⁷¹But he began to curse and to swear, saying, I know not this man of whom ye speak.

⁷¹លោកពេត្រុសក៏និយាយឡើងថា៖ «បើខ្ញុំកុហក សូមអោយព្រះជាម្ចាស់ដាក់ ទោសខ្ញុំចុះខ្ញុំសុំស្បថថា ខ្ញុំមិនដែលស្គាល់អ្នកនោះទាល់តែសោះ»។

⁷²And the second time the cock crew. And Peter called to mind the word that Jesus said unto him, Before the cock crow twice, thou shalt deny me thrice. And when he thought thereon, he wept.

⁷²ភ្លាមនោះ មាន់រងាវឡើង ជាលើកទីពីរ លោកពេត្រុសក៏នឹកឃើញព្រះបន្ទូលរបស់ព្រះយេស៊ូ ដែលថា "មុនមាន់រងាវពីរដង អ្នកនឹងបដិសេធបីដងថាមិនស្គាល់ខ្ញុំ" គាត់ក៏ទ្រហោយំ។
