1The book of the generation of Jesus Christ, the son of David, the son of Abraham.

2Abraham begat Isaac; and Isaac begat Jacob; and Jacob begat Judas and his brethren;
2លោកអប្រាហាំបង្កើតលោកអ៊ីសាក លោកអ៊ីសាកបង្កើតលោកយ៉ាកុប លោកយ៉ាកុបបង្កើតលោកយូដា និង បងប្អូនរបស់គាត់
3And Judas begat Phares and Zara of Thamar; and Phares begat Esrom; and Esrom begat Aram;

4And Aram begat Aminadab; and Aminadab begat Naasson; and Naasson begat Salmon;

5And Salmon begat Booz of Rachab; and Booz begat Obed of Ruth; and Obed begat Jesse;
5លោកសាលម៉ូន និង នាងរ៉ាហាបបង្កើតលោកបូអូស លោកបូអូស និង នាងរស់បង្កើតលោកអូបេដ លោកអូបេដបង្កើតលោកអ៊ីសាយ
6And Jesse begat David the king; and David the king begat Solomon of her that had been the wife of Urias;
6លោកអ៊ីសាយបង្កើតស្ដេចដាវីឌ។ ស្ដេចដាវីឌ និង ភរិយារបស់អ៊ូរីបង្កើតស្ដេចសាឡូម៉ូន
7And Solomon begat Roboam; and Roboam begat Abia; and Abia begat Asa;
7ស្ដេចសាឡូម៉ូនបង្កើតស្ដេចរេហូបោម ស្ដេចរេហូបោមបង្កើតស្ដេចអប៊ីយ៉ា ស្ដេចអប៊ីយ៉ាបង្កើតស្ដេចអេសា
8And Asa begat Josaphat; and Josaphat begat Joram; and Joram begat Ozias;
8ស្ដេចអេសាបង្កើតស្ដេចយ៉ូសាផាត ស្ដេចយ៉ូសាផាតបង្កើតស្ដេចយ៉ូរ៉ាម ស្ដេចយ៉ូរ៉ាមបង្កើតស្ដេចអូសៀស
9And Ozias begat Joatham; and Joatham begat Achaz; and Achaz begat Ezekias;
9ស្ដេចអូសៀសបង្កើតស្ដេចយ៉ូថាម ស្ដេចយ៉ូថាមបង្កើតស្ដេចអេហាស ស្ដេចអេហាសបង្កើតស្ដេចអេសេគាស
10And Ezekias begat Manasses; and Manasses begat Amon; and Amon begat Josias;
10ស្ដេចអេសេគាសបង្កើតស្ដេចម៉ាណាសេ ស្ដេចម៉ាណាសេបង្កើតស្ដេចអាំម៉ូន ស្ដេចអាំម៉ូនបង្កើតស្ដេចយ៉ូសៀស
11And Josias begat Jechonias and his brethren, about the time they were carried away to Babylon:
11ស្ដេចយ៉ូសៀសបង្កើតស្ដេចយេកូនាស និង អនុជរបស់ព្រះអង្គ ក្នុងគ្រាដែលគេកៀរជនជាតិអ៊ីស្រាអែល យកទៅធ្វើជាឈ្លើយនៅស្រុកបាប៊ីឡូន។
12And after they were brought to Babylon, Jechonias begat Salathiel; and Salathiel begat Zorobabel;
12ក្រោយគ្រាដែលគេកៀរជនជាតិអ៊ីស្រាអែលយកទៅធ្វើជាឈ្លើយនៅស្រុកបាប៊ីឡូន ស្ដេចយេកូនាសបង្កើតលោកសាលធាល លោកសាលធាលបង្កើតលោកសូរ៉ូបាបិល
13And Zorobabel begat Abiud; and Abiud begat Eliakim; and Eliakim begat Azor;
13លោកសូរ៉ូបាបិលបង្កើតលោកអប៊ីយូដ លោកអប៊ីយូដបង្កើតលោកអេលាគីម លោកអេលាគីមបង្កើតលោកអេសូរ
14And Azor begat Sadoc; and Sadoc begat Achim; and Achim begat Eliud;
14លោកអេសូរបង្កើតលោកសាដុក លោកសាដុកបង្កើតលោកអេគីម លោកអេគីមបង្កើតលោកអេលីយូដ
15And Eliud begat Eleazar; and Eleazar begat Matthan; and Matthan begat Jacob;
15លោកអេលីយូដបង្កើតលោកអេឡាសារ លោកអេឡាសារបង្កើតលោកម៉ាថាន លោកម៉ាថាន បង្កើតលោកយ៉ាកុប
16And Jacob begat Joseph the husband of Mary, of whom was born Jesus, who is called Christ.
16លោកយ៉ាកុបបង្កើតលោកយ៉ូសែប ជាស្វាមីរបស់នាងម៉ារី ដែលបង្កើតព្រះយេស៊ូហៅថាព្រះគ្រិស្ដ ។
17So all the generations from Abraham to David are fourteen generations; and from David until the carrying away into Babylon are fourteen generations; and from the carrying away into Babylon unto Christ are fourteen generations.
17ដូច្នេះ ចាប់ពីលោកអប្រាហាំមកទល់ស្ដេចដាវីឌ មានដប់បួនតំណ ចាប់ពីស្ដេចដាវីឌមកទល់នឹងគ្រាដែលគេកៀរជនជាតិអ៊ីស្រាអែល យកទៅធ្វើជាឈ្លើយនៅស្រុកបាប៊ីឡូន មានដប់បួនតំណ ហើយចាប់ពីគ្រាដែលគេកៀរជនជាតិអ៊ីស្រាអែលយកទៅធ្វើជាឈ្លើយនៅស្រុកបាប៊ីឡូន មកទល់ព្រះគ្រិស្ដ ក៏មានដប់បួនតំណដែរ។
18Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost.
18នេះជាដំណើររឿង អំពីកំណើតរបស់ព្រះយេស៊ូគ្រិស្ដ។ នាងម៉ារី មាតារបស់ព្រះអង្គត្រូវជាគូដណ្ដឹងរបស់លោកយ៉ូសែប។ មុនពេលអ្នកទាំងពីររួមរស់ជាមួយគ្នា នាងម៉ារីមានផ្ទៃពោះ ដោយសារព្រះវិញ្ញាណដ៏វិសុទ្ធរួចទៅហើយ។
19Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not willing to make her a publick example, was minded to put her away privily.
19លោកយ៉ូសែប ស្វាមីរបស់នាងជាមនុស្សសុចរិត លោកមិនចង់បំបាក់មុខនាងឡើយ គឺលោកសំរេចចិត្ដថានឹងផ្ដាច់ពាក្យដោយស្ងាត់ៗវិញ។
20But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the LORD appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost.
20ពេលលោកកំពុងគិតដូច្នេះ ស្រាប់តែមានទេវតា របស់ព្រះអម្ចាស់ មកប្រាប់លោក ក្នុងសុបិននិមិត្ដថា៖ «លោកយ៉ូសែបជាព្រះរាជវង្សរបស់ព្រះបាទដាវីឌ អើយ សូមកុំខ្លាចនឹងទទួលនាងម៉ារីមកធ្វើជាភរិយាឡើយ! បុត្រដែលនៅក្នុងផ្ទៃនាង កើតមកពីព្រះវិញ្ញាណដ៏វិសុទ្ធ ។
21And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.
21នាងនឹងសំរាលបានបុត្រមួយហើយលោកត្រូវថ្វាយព្រះនាមថា "យេស៊ូ" ដ្បិតបុត្រនោះនឹងសង្គ្រោះប្រជារាស្ដ្រព្រះអង្គអោយរួចពីបាបរបស់គេ»។
22Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying,
22ហេតុការណ៍នេះកើតឡើង ស្របនឹងសេចក្ដីដែលព្រះអម្ចាស់មានព្រះបន្ទូល តាមរយៈព្យាការី ថា៖
23Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.
23«មើល! ស្ដ្រីព្រហ្មចារីនឹងមានផ្ទៃពោះនាងនឹងសំរាលបានបុត្រមួយដែលគេនឹងថ្វាយ ព្រះនាមថា "អេម៉ាញូអែល"» ប្រែថា «ព្រះជាម្ចាស់គង់ជាមួយយើង»។
24Then Joseph being raised from sleep did as the angel of the Lord had bidden him, and took unto him his wife:
24លុះលោកយ៉ូសែបភ្ញាក់ឡើង លោកក៏ធ្វើតាមបង្គាប់ទេវតា របស់ព្រះអម្ចាស់ គឺលោកទទួលនាងម៉ារីមកធ្វើជាភរិយា
25And knew her not till she had brought forth her firstborn son: and he called his name JESUS.
25ប៉ុន្ដែលោកពុំបានរួមបវេណីជាមួយនាង រហូតដល់នាងសំរាលបានបុត្រដែលលោកថ្វាយព្រះនាមថា "យេស៊ូ"។
