¹And it came to pass, when Jesus had finished all these sayings, he said unto his disciples,

¹កាលព្រះយេស៊ូមានព្រះបន្ទូលទាំងនេះ ចប់សព្វគ្រប់ហើយ ព្រះអង្គមានព្រះបន្ទូលទៅកាន់ពួកសិស្សថា៖

²Ye know that after two days is the feast of the passover, and the Son of man is betrayed to be crucified.

²«អ្នករាល់គ្នាដឹងហើយថា ពីរថ្ងៃទៀត ដល់បុណ្យចម្លង គេនឹងចាប់បុត្រមនុស្ស បញ្ជូនទៅឆ្កាង»។

³Then assembled together the chief priests, and the scribes, and the elders of the people, unto the palace of the high priest, who was called Caiaphas,

³ពេលនោះ ពួកនាយកបូជាចារ្យ និង ពួកព្រឹទ្ធាចារ្យ របស់ប្រជាជន ជួបជុំគ្នានៅក្នុងដំណាក់របស់លោកមហាបូជាចារ្យ ឈ្មោះកៃផាស

⁴And consulted that they might take Jesus by subtilty, and kill him.

⁴ហើយបានសំរេចចិត្ដជាមួយគ្នា រកកលល្បិចចាប់ ព្រះយេស៊ូយកទៅធ្វើគុត។

⁵But they said, Not on the feast day, lest there be an uproar among the people.

⁵ប៉ុន្ដែ គេនិយាយគ្នាថា៖ «កុំចាប់ក្នុងពេលបុណ្យឡើយ ក្រែងកើតចលាចលក្នុងចំណោមប្រជាជន»។

⁶Now when Jesus was in Bethany, in the house of Simon the leper,

⁶ព្រះយេស៊ូគង់នៅភូមិបេថានី ក្នុងផ្ទះបុរសម្នាក់ឈ្មោះស៊ីម៉ូន ជាមនុស្សឃ្លង់។

⁷There came unto him a woman having an alabaster box of very precious ointment, and poured it on his head, as he sat at meat.

⁷មានស្ដ្រីម្នាក់ចូលមករកព្រះអង្គ ទាំងកាន់ដបថ្មកែវផង។ នៅក្នុងដបនោះមានប្រេងក្រអូបដ៏មានតម្លៃលើសលប់។ ពេលព្រះយេស៊ូកំពុងសោយព្រះស្ងោយ នាងយកប្រេងក្រអូបនោះចាក់លើព្រះសិរសាព្រះអង្គ។

⁸But when his disciples saw it, they had indignation, saying, To what purpose is this waste?

⁸ពួកសិស្ស ឃើញដូច្នេះទាស់ចិត្ដជាខ្លាំង ហើយពោលថា៖ «ម្ដេចក៏ខ្ជះខ្ជាយអ៊ីចឹង!

⁹For this ointment might have been sold for much, and given to the poor.

⁹បើយកប្រេងក្រអូបនេះ ទៅលក់មុខជាបានប្រាក់ច្រើន សំរាប់ចែកទានដល់ជនក្រីក្រវិញ!»។

¹⁰When Jesus understood it, he said unto them, Why trouble ye the woman? for she hath wrought a good work upon me.

¹⁰ព្រះយេស៊ូជ្រាបគំនិតរបស់គេ ទ្រង់មានព្រះបន្ទូលថា៖ «ហេតុអ្វីបានជារករឿងនាងដូច្នេះ! នាងបានធ្វើអំពើដ៏ល្អចំពោះខ្ញុំ។

¹¹For ye have the poor always with you; but me ye have not always.

¹¹អ្នករាល់គ្នាមានជនក្រីក្រនៅជាមួយរហូត រីឯខ្ញុំវិញ ខ្ញុំមិននៅជាមួយអ្នករាល់គ្នារហូតទេ។

¹²For in that she hath poured this ointment on my body, she did it for my burial.

¹²នាងបានចាក់ប្រេងលាបរូបកាយខ្ញុំដូច្នេះ ដើម្បីធ្វើពិធីបញ្ចុះសពខ្ញុំទុកជាមុន។

¹³Verily I say unto you, Wheresoever this gospel shall be preached in the whole world, there shall also this, that this woman hath done, be told for a memorial of her.

¹³ខ្ញុំសុំប្រាប់អោយអ្នករាល់គ្នាដឹងច្បាស់ថា គ្រប់ទីកន្លែងក្នុងពិភពលោកទាំងមូល កាលណាគេប្រកាសដំណឹងល្អ នេះ គេក៏នឹងតំណាលអំពីកិច្ចការដែលនាងបានធ្វើនេះដែរ ដើម្បីរំលឹកអំពីនាង»។

¹⁴Then one of the twelve, called Judas Iscariot, went unto the chief priests,

¹⁴ពេលនោះ សិស្ស ម្នាក់ក្នុងក្រុមសិស្សទាំងដប់ពីរឈ្មោះ យូដាសអ៊ីស្ការីយ៉ុត បានទៅជួបក្រុមនាយកបូជាចារ្យ

¹⁵And said unto them, What will ye give me, and I will deliver him unto you? And they covenanted with him for thirty pieces of silver.

¹⁵ជំរាបថា៖ «បើខ្ញុំប្រគល់លោកយេស៊ូជូនអស់លោក តើអស់លោកអោយអ្វីខ្ញុំ?»។ ពួកនាយកបូជាចារ្យក៏រាប់ប្រាក់អោយគាត់សាមសិបស្លឹង។

¹⁶And from that time he sought opportunity to betray him.

¹⁶ចាប់ពីពេលនោះមក យូដាសរកឱកាសល្អ ដើម្បីនាំគេទៅចាប់ព្រះយេស៊ូ។

¹⁷Now the first day of the feast of unleavened bread the disciples came to Jesus, saying unto him, Where wilt thou that we prepare for thee to eat the passover?

¹⁷នៅថ្ងៃដំបូង នៃពិធីបុណ្យនំបុ័ងឥតមេ សិស្ស នាំគ្នាមកគាល់ព្រះយេស៊ូ ទូលថា៖ «តើព្រះគ្រូចង់អោយយើងខ្ញុំរៀបចំជប់លៀង ជូន ក្នុងឱកាសបុណ្យចម្លង នៅកន្លែងណា?»។

¹⁸And he said, Go into the city to such a man, and say unto him, The Master saith, My time is at hand; I will keep the passover at thy house with my disciples.

¹⁸ព្រះអង្គមានព្រះបន្ទូលថា៖ «ចូរនាំគ្នាទៅផ្ទះបុរសម្នាក់នៅទីក្រុង ប្រាប់គាត់ថាៈ "លោកគ្រូមានប្រសាសន៍ថា ពេលកំណត់ របស់ខ្ញុំជិតមកដល់ហើយ ខ្ញុំនឹងធ្វើពិធីបុណ្យចម្លងជាមួយសិស្សខ្ញុំនៅក្នុងផ្ទះអ្នក"»។

¹⁹And the disciples did as Jesus had appointed them; and they made ready the passover.

¹⁹សិស្សនាំគ្នាធ្វើតាម ដូចព្រះយេស៊ូបង្គាប់ ហើយរៀបចំម្ហូបអាហារ សំរាប់បុណ្យចម្លង។

²⁰Now when the even was come, he sat down with the twelve.

²⁰លុះដល់ល្ងាច ព្រះអង្គរួមតុជាមួយសិស្សទាំងដប់ពីររូប។

²¹And as they did eat, he said, Verily I say unto you, that one of you shall betray me.

²¹នៅពេលបរិភោគ ព្រះអង្គមានព្រះបន្ទូលថា៖ «ខ្ញុំសុំប្រាប់អោយអ្នករាល់គ្នាដឹងច្បាស់ថា ក្នុងចំណោមអ្នករាល់គ្នា មានម្នាក់នឹងនាំគេមកចាប់ខ្ញុំ»។

²²And they were exceeding sorrowful, and began every one of them to say unto him, Lord, is it I?

²²ពួកសិស្សព្រួយចិត្ដក្រៃលែង ម្នាក់ៗទូលសួរព្រះអង្គថា៖ «បពិត្រព្រះអម្ចាស់! តើទូលបង្គំឬ?»។

²³And he answered and said, He that dippeth his hand with me in the dish, the same shall betray me.

²³ព្រះអង្គមានព្រះបន្ទូលទៅគេវិញថា៖ «អ្នកណាជ្រលក់នំបុ័ងក្នុងចានជាមួយខ្ញុំ គឺអ្នកនោះហើយដែលនាំគេមកចាប់ខ្ញុំ។

²⁴The Son of man goeth as it is written of him: but woe unto that man by whom the Son of man is betrayed! it had been good for that man if he had not been born.

²⁴បុត្រមនុស្ស ត្រូវតែស្លាប់ ដូចមានចែងទុកក្នុងគម្ពីរអំពីលោកស្រាប់។ ប៉ុន្ដែ អ្នកដែលនាំគេមកចាប់បុត្រមនុស្ស នឹងត្រូវវេទនាជាមិនខាន។ ចំពោះអ្នកនោះ បើមិនបានកើតមកទេ ទើបប្រសើរជាង!»។

²⁵Then Judas, which betrayed him, answered and said, Master, is it I? He said unto him, Thou hast said.

²⁵យូដាសជាអ្នកក្បត់ព្រះអង្គ ទូលសួរថា៖ «ព្រះគ្រូ!តើខ្ញុំឬ?»។ ព្រះអង្គមានព្រះបន្ទូលទៅគាត់ថា៖ «អ្នកនិយាយដូច្នេះ ត្រូវហើយ!»។

²⁶And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and blessed it, and brake it, and gave it to the disciples, and said, Take, eat; this is my body.

²⁶នៅពេលកំពុងបរិភោគ ព្រះយេស៊ូយកនំបុ័ងមកកាន់ ព្រះអង្គសរសើរតម្កើងព្រះជាម្ចាស់ ហើយកាច់ប្រទានអោយពួកសិស្ស ដោយមានព្រះបន្ទូលថា៖ «នេះជារូបកាយខ្ញុំ សុំយកពិសាចុះ»។

²⁷And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it;

²⁷បន្ទាប់មកព្រះអង្គយកពែងមកកាន់ អរព្រះគុណព្រះជាម្ចាស់ រួចប្រទានអោយពួកសិស្ស ទាំងមានព្រះបន្ទូលថា៖ «សុំយកពិសាទាំងអស់គ្នាចុះ

²⁸For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.

²⁸នេះជាលោហិតរបស់ខ្ញុំគឺលោហិតនៃសម្ពន្ធមេត្រី ដែលត្រូវបង្ហូរ ដើម្បីលើកលែងទោសមនុស្សទាំងអស់អោយរួចពីបាប។

²⁹But I say unto you, I will not drink henceforth of this fruit of the vine, until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father's kingdom.

²⁹ខ្ញុំសុំប្រាប់អ្នករាល់គ្នាថា អំណើះតទៅ ខ្ញុំនឹងមិនពិសាស្រាទំពាំងបាយជូរទៀតឡើយ រហូតដល់ថ្ងៃដែលខ្ញុំនឹងពិសាស្រាទំពាំងបាយជូរថ្មី ជាមួយអ្នករាល់គ្នានៅក្នុងព្រះរាជ្យ នៃព្រះបិតាខ្ញុំ»។

³⁰And when they had sung an hymn, they went out into the mount of Olives.

³⁰ក្រោយពីបានច្រៀងទំនុកតម្កើង រួចហើយ ព្រះយេស៊ូយាងឆ្ពោះទៅភ្នំដើមអូលីវ ជាមួយពួកសិស្ស។

³¹Then saith Jesus unto them, All ye shall be offended because of me this night: for it is written, I will smite the shepherd, and the sheep of the flock shall be scattered abroad.

³¹ពេលនោះ ព្រះយេស៊ូមានព្រះបន្ទូលថា៖ «យប់នេះ អ្នកទាំងអស់គ្នានឹងបោះបង់ខ្ញុំចោល ដ្បិតមានចែងទុកមកថាៈ"យើងនឹងវាយសម្លាប់អ្នកគង្វាល ហើយចៀមនៅក្នុងហ្វូងនឹងត្រូវខ្ចាត់ខ្ចាយ"។

³²But after I am risen again, I will go before you into Galilee.

³²ប៉ុន្ដែ ក្រោយពេលខ្ញុំមានជីវិតរស់ឡើងវិញ ខ្ញុំនឹងទៅស្រុកកាលីឡេ មុនអ្នករាល់គ្នា»។

³³Peter answered and said unto him, Though all men shall be offended because of thee, yet will I never be offended.

³³លោកពេត្រុសទូលព្រះអង្គថា៖ «ទោះបីអ្នកឯទៀតបោះបង់ចោលព្រះអង្គទាំងអស់គ្នា ក៏ដោយ ក៏ទូលបង្គំមិនសុខចិត្ដបោះបង់ចោលព្រះអង្គជាដាច់ខាត!»។

³⁴Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, That this night, before the cock crow, thou shalt deny me thrice.

³⁴ព្រះយេស៊ូមានព្រះបន្ទូលទៅគាត់ថា៖ «ខ្ញុំសុំប្រាប់អោយអ្នកដឹងច្បាស់ថា នៅយប់នេះឯង មុនមាន់រងាវ អ្នកនឹងបដិសេធបីដងថាមិនស្គាល់ខ្ញុំ»។

³⁵Peter said unto him, Though I should die with thee, yet will I not deny thee. Likewise also said all the disciples.

³⁵លោកពេត្រុសទូលព្រះអង្គថា៖ «ទោះបីទូលបង្គំត្រូវស្លាប់ជាមួយព្រះអង្គក៏ដោយ ក៏ទូលបង្គំមិនបដិសេធថា មិនស្គាល់ព្រះអង្គ ជាដាច់ខាត»។ សិស្សឯទៀតៗ ក៏ទូលព្រះអង្គដូចលោកពេត្រុសដែរ។

³⁶Then cometh Jesus with them unto a place called Gethsemane, and saith unto the disciples, Sit ye here, while I go and pray yonder.

³⁶ពេលនោះ ព្រះយេស៊ូយាងទៅជាមួយពួកសិស្ស ដល់កន្លែងមួយ ឈ្មោះកេតសេម៉ានី ព្រះអង្គមានព្រះបន្ទូលទៅគេថា៖«អ្នករាល់គ្នាអង្គុយនៅទីនេះសិន ចាំខ្ញុំទៅអធិស្ឋាន នៅត្រង់កន្លែងនោះ»។

³⁷And he took with him Peter and the two sons of Zebedee, and began to be sorrowful and very heavy.

³⁷ព្រះអង្គនាំលោកពេត្រុស និង កូនរបស់លោកសេបេដេទាំងពីរនាក់ទៅជាមួយ។ ពេលនោះ ព្រះអង្គចាប់ផ្ដើមព្រួយព្រះហឫទ័យ ហើយចុកចាប់អន្ទះសាពន់ប្រមាណ

³⁸Then saith he unto them, My soul is exceeding sorrowful, even unto death: tarry ye here, and watch with me.

³⁸ទ្រង់មានព្រះបន្ទូលទៅកាន់អ្នកទាំងបីថា៖ «ខ្ញុំព្រួយចិត្ដយ៉ាងខ្លាំងស្ទើរតែស្លាប់ អ្នករាល់គ្នានៅទីនេះសិនហើយ ចូរប្រុងស្មារតី ជាមួយខ្ញុំ»។

³⁹And he went a little farther, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt.

³⁹ព្រះអង្គយាងទៅមុខបន្ដិច ក្រាបព្រះភ័ក្ដ្រដល់ដី ទូលអង្វរថា៖ «ឱព្រះបិតាអើយ! ប្រសិនបើបាន សូមអោយពែងនៃទុក្ខលំបាកនេះ ចេញឆ្ងាយពីទូលបង្គំទៅ ប៉ុន្ដែ សូមកុំធ្វើតាមបំណងទូលបង្គំឡើយ គឺសូមអោយបានសំរេចតាមព្រះហឫទ័យរបស់ព្រះអង្គវិញ»។

⁴⁰And he cometh unto the disciples, and findeth them asleep, and saith unto Peter, What, could ye not watch with me one hour?

⁴⁰ព្រះអង្គយាងមករកពួកសិស្ស ឃើញគេកំពុងតែដេកលក់ ព្រះអង្គមានព្រះបន្ទូលទៅលោកពេត្រុសថា៖ «អ្នករាល់គ្នាមិនស៊ូទ្រាំប្រុងស្មារតីជាមួយខ្ញុំ សូម្បីតែមួយម៉ោងក៏មិនបានដែរឬ!»។

⁴¹Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.

⁴¹ចូរប្រុងស្មារតី ហើយអធិស្ឋាន កុំអោយចាញ់ការល្បួងឡើយ។ វិញ្ញាណរបស់មនុស្សប្រុងប្រៀបជាស្រេចមែន តែគេនៅទន់ខ្សោយ ពោ្រះនិស្ស័យលោកីយ៍»។

⁴²He went away again the second time, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if this cup may not pass away from me, except I drink it, thy will be done.

⁴²ព្រះអង្គយាងចេញទៅម្ដងទៀត ជាលើកទីពីរហើយទូលអង្វរថា៖ «ឱព្រះបិតាអើយ ប្រសិនបើទូលបង្គំត្រូវតែទទួលពែងនៃទុក្ខលំបាកនេះចៀសពុំបានទេនោះ សូមអោយបានសំរេចតាមព្រះហឫទ័យរបស់ព្រះអង្គចុះ!»។

⁴³And he came and found them asleep again: for their eyes were heavy.

⁴³ព្រះយេស៊ូ វិល ត្រឡប់ ទៅ រក ពួក សិស្ស ម្ដងទៀតឃើញគេដេកលក់ ដ្បិតគេងងុយពេក បើកភ្នែកពុំរួចសោះ។

⁴⁴And he left them, and went away again, and prayed the third time, saying the same words.

⁴⁴ព្រះអង្គក៏យាងចាកចេញ ពីគេទៅអធិស្ឋាន ជាលើកទីបី ហើយទូលអង្វរដោយពាក្យដដែល។

⁴⁵Then cometh he to his disciples, and saith unto them, Sleep on now, and take your rest: behold, the hour is at hand, and the Son of man is betrayed into the hands of sinners.

⁴⁵បន្ទាប់មក ព្រះអង្គវិលមករកសិស្សវិញមានព្រះបន្ទូលទៅគេថា៖ «អ្នករាល់គ្នានៅតែដេកលក់អ្នករាល់គ្នាសំរាកដល់អង្កាល់ទៀត? ឥឡូវនេះ ជិតដល់ពេលកំណត់ដែលបុត្រមនុស្សត្រូវគេបញ្ជូនទៅក្នុងកណ្ដាប់ដៃរបស់មនុស្សបាបហើយ។

⁴⁶Rise, let us be going: behold, he is at hand that doth betray me.

⁴⁶ចូរក្រោកឡើង! យើងនាំគ្នាទៅ ដ្បិតអ្នកដែលនាំគេមកចាប់ខ្ញុំមកជិតដល់ហើយ!»។

⁴⁷And while he yet spake, lo, Judas, one of the twelve, came, and with him a great multitude with swords and staves, from the chief priests and elders of the people.

⁴⁷ព្រះអង្គកំពុងតែមានព្រះបន្ទូលនៅឡើយ ស្រាប់តែយូដាស ជាសិស្ស ម្នាក់ ក្នុងចំណោមសិស្សទាំងដប់ពីរ មកដល់ ទាំងមានបណ្ដាជនជាច្រើនកាន់ដាវ កាន់ដំបងមកជាមួយផង។ ពួកនាយកបូជាចារ្យ និង ពួកព្រឹទ្ធាចារ្យ របស់ប្រជាជនបានចាត់អ្នកទាំងនោះអោយមក។

⁴⁸Now he that betrayed him gave them a sign, saying, Whomsoever I shall kiss, that same is he: hold him fast.

⁴⁸យូដាសដែលនាំគេមកចាប់ព្រះយេស៊ូ បានសន្មតជាមួយគេនូវសញ្ញាមួយថា៖ «ខ្ញុំថើបអ្នកណាគឺអ្នកនោះហើយ សុំចាប់គាត់ទៅ!»។

⁴⁹And forthwith he came to Jesus, and said, Hail, master; and kissed him.

⁴⁹កាលយូដាសមកដល់ភ្លាម គាត់ដើរតំរង់មករកព្រះយេស៊ូ ទូលថា៖ «ជម្រាបសួរព្រះគ្រូ!» រួចថើបព្រះអង្គ។

⁵⁰And Jesus said unto him, Friend, wherefore art thou come? Then came they, and laid hands on Jesus and took him.

⁵⁰ព្រះយេស៊ូមានព្រះបន្ទូលទៅគាត់ថា៖ «សំឡាញ់អើយ អ្នកមកនេះចង់ធ្វើអ្វី ធ្វើទៅចុះ!»។ ពេលនោះ បណ្ដាជនក៏នាំគ្នាចូល មកចាប់ព្រះអង្គ។

⁵¹And, behold, one of them which were with Jesus stretched out his hand, and drew his sword, and struck a servant of the high priest's, and smote off his ear.

⁵¹មានម្នាក់ ក្នុងចំណោមពួកអ្នកដែលនៅជាមួយព្រះយេស៊ូ បានហូតដាវកាប់អ្នកបំរើរបស់លោកមហាបូជាចារ្យ ដាច់ស្លឹកត្រចៀក។

⁵²Then said Jesus unto him, Put up again thy sword into his place: for all they that take the sword shall perish with the sword.

⁵²ព្រះយេស៊ូមានព្រះបន្ទូលទៅអ្នកនោះថា៖ «ស៊កដាវអ្នកទៅក្នុងស្រោមវិញទៅ ដ្បិតអស់អ្នកដែលប្រើដាវនឹងត្រូវស្លាប់ដោយមុខដាវជាមិនខាន។

⁵³Thinkest thou that I cannot now pray to my Father, and he shall presently give me more than twelve legions of angels?

⁵³អ្នកស្មានថា ខ្ញុំមិនអាចអង្វរករព្រះបិតាខ្ញុំអោយចាត់ទេវតាជាងដប់ពីរកងពល មកជួយខ្ញុំបានភ្លាមៗទេឬ?

⁵⁴But how then shall the scriptures be fulfilled, that thus it must be?

⁵⁴តែបើធ្វើដូច្នោះ ធ្វើម្ដេចនឹងបានស្របតាមសេចក្ដីដែលមានចែង ទុកក្នុងគម្ពីរអំពីហេតុការណ៍ដែលត្រូវតែកើតឡើងយ៉ាងនេះ!»។

⁵⁵In that same hour said Jesus to the multitudes, Are ye come out as against a thief with swords and staves for to take me? I sat daily with you teaching in the temple, and ye laid no hold on me.

⁵⁵ពេលនោះ ព្រះយេស៊ូមានព្រះបន្ទូលទៅកាន់មហាជនថា៖ «ខ្ញុំជាចោរព្រៃឬ បានជាអស់លោកកាន់ដាវកាន់ដំបងមកចាប់ខ្ញុំដូច្នេះ? ខ្ញុំតែងអង្គុយបង្រៀននៅក្នុងព្រះវិហារ ជារៀងរាល់ថ្ងៃ តែអស់លោកពុំបានចាប់ខ្ញុំទេ»។

⁵⁶But all this was done, that the scriptures of the prophets might be fulfilled. Then all the disciples forsook him, and fled.

⁵⁶ហេតុការណ៍ទាំងនេះកើតឡើង ដើម្បីអោយបានស្របតាមសេចក្ដីដែលមានចែងទុក ក្នុងគម្ពីរព្យាការី ។ ពេលនោះ ពួកសិស្សនាំគ្នាបោះបង់ចោលព្រះអង្គ ហើយរត់បាត់អស់ទៅ។

⁵⁷And they that had laid hold on Jesus led him away to Caiaphas the high priest, where the scribes and the elders were assembled.

⁵⁷លុះចាប់ព្រះយេស៊ូបានហើយ គេបណ្ដើរព្រះអង្គទៅដល់ដំណាក់របស់លោកកៃផាស ជាមហាបូជាចារ្យ ។ ពួកអាចារ្យ និង ពួកព្រឹទ្ធាចារ្យ ជួបជុំគ្នានៅទីនោះ។

⁵⁸But Peter followed him afar off unto the high priest's palace, and went in, and sat with the servants, to see the end.

⁵⁸លោកពេត្រុសដើរតាមព្រះអង្គពីចម្ងាយ គាត់តាមរហូតដល់ទីធ្លាខាងក្នុងដំណាក់របស់មហាបូជាចារ្យ ហើយអង្គុយជាមួយកងរក្សាព្រះវិហារ ចង់ដឹងថាហេតុការណ៍នឹងទៅជាយ៉ាងណា។

⁵⁹Now the chief priests, and elders, and all the council, sought false witness against Jesus, to put him to death;

⁵⁹ពួកនាយកបូជាចារ្យ និង ក្រុមប្រឹក្សាជាន់ខ្ពស់ ទាំងមូល នាំគ្នារកពាក្យចោទប្រកាន់ មួលបង្កាច់ព្រះយេស៊ូ ដើម្បីកាត់ទោសប្រហារជីវិតព្រះអង្គ

⁶⁰But found none: yea, though many false witnesses came, yet found they none. At the last came two false witnesses,

⁶⁰ទោះបីមានមនុស្សជាច្រើនធ្វើសាក្សីក្លែងក្លាយក៏ដោយ ក៏គេរកមិនបានដែរ។ នៅទីបំផុត មានបុរសពីរនាក់នាំគ្នាចូលមក

⁶¹And said, This fellow said, I am able to destroy the temple of God, and to build it in three days.

⁶¹ពោលថា៖ «អ្នកនេះបានអះអាងថា "ខ្ញុំអាចរុះព្រះវិហាររបស់ព្រះជាម្ចាស់ចោល ហើយសង់ឡើងវិញបានក្នុងរវាងបីថ្ងៃ "»។

⁶²And the high priest arose, and said unto him, Answerest thou nothing? what is it which these witness against thee?

⁶²ពេលនោះ លោកមហាបូជាចារ្យក្រោកឈរឡើង សួរព្រះអង្គថា៖ «ម្ដេចក៏អ្នកមិនឆ្លើយនឹងពាក្យចោទប្រកាន់របស់អ្នកទាំងនេះ?»។

⁶³But Jesus held his peace, And the high priest answered and said unto him, I adjure thee by the living God, that thou tell us whether thou be the Christ, the Son of God.

⁶³ព្រះយេស៊ូនៅស្ងៀម។ លោកមហាបូជាចារ្យសួរព្រះអង្គទៀតថា៖ «ចូរស្បថដោយយកព្រះដ៏មានព្រះជន្មគង់នៅ ធ្វើជាប្រធាន តើអ្នកពិតជាព្រះគ្រិស្ដ ជាព្រះបុត្រារបស់ព្រះជាម្ចាស់មែនឬ?»។

⁶⁴Jesus saith unto him, Thou hast said: nevertheless I say unto you, Hereafter shall ye see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven.

⁶⁴ព្រះយេស៊ូមានព្រះបន្ទូលទៅលោកថា៖ «ត្រូវដូចលោកមានប្រសាសន៍មែន ប៉ុន្ដែ ខ្ញុំសុំបញ្ជាក់ប្រាប់អស់លោកថា អំណើះតទៅ អស់លោកនឹងឃើញ បុត្រមនុស្ស គង់នៅខាងស្ដំាព្រះដ៏មានឫទ្ធានុភាព ហើយនឹងយាងមកលើពពក ក្នុងផ្ទៃមេឃ»។

⁶⁵Then the high priest rent his clothes, saying, He hath spoken blasphemy; what further need have we of witnesses? behold, now ye have heard his blasphemy.

⁶⁵ពេលនោះ លោកមហាបូជាចារ្យហែកអាវរបស់លោកហើយមានប្រសាសន៍ថា៖ «ជននេះបានពោលពាក្យប្រមាថព្រះជាម្ចាស់ហើយ! យើងមិនបាច់រកសាក្សីឯណាទៀតទេ អស់លោកឮអ្នកនេះពោលពាក្យប្រមាថព្រះជាម្ចាស់អំបាញមិញស្រាប់!

⁶⁶What think ye? They answered and said, He is guilty of death.

⁶⁶តើអស់លោកមានយល់យ៉ាងណា?»។ ពួកគេឆ្លើយឡើងថា៖ «អ្នកនេះត្រូវមានទោស ដល់ជីវិត!»។

⁶⁷Then did they spit in his face, and buffeted him; and others smote him with the palms of their hands,

⁶⁷គេក៏នាំគ្នាស្ដោះទឹកមាត់ដាក់ព្រះភ័ក្ដ្រព្រះអង្គ គេវាយតប់ព្រះអង្គ ហើយអ្នកខ្លះទះកំផ្លៀងព្រះអង្គ

⁶⁸Saying, Prophesy unto us, thou Christ, Who is he that smote thee?

⁶⁸ទាំងពោលថា៖ «ទាយមើល៍ ព្រះគ្រិស្ដអើយ អ្នកណាវាយឯង!»។

⁶⁹Now Peter sat without in the palace: and a damsel came unto him, saying, Thou also wast with Jesus of Galilee.

⁶⁹ពេលនោះ លោកពេត្រុសអង្គុយនៅខាងក្រៅក្នុងទីធ្លា។ មានស្ដ្រីបំរើរបស់មហាបូជាចារ្យ ម្នាក់ចូលមកជិតគាត់ ពោលថា៖ «អ្នកឯងជាបក្សពួករបស់យេស៊ូ ជាអ្នកស្រុកកាលីឡេដែរ!»។

⁷⁰But he denied before them all, saying, I know not what thou sayest.

⁷⁰ប៉ុន្ដែ គាត់ប្រកែកថា៖ «ខ្ញុំមិនដឹងថា នាងចង់និយាយអំពីរឿងអ្វីឡើយ!»។

⁷¹And when he was gone out into the porch, another maid saw him, and said unto them that were there, This fellow was also with Jesus of Nazareth.

⁷¹ពេលលោកពេត្រុសដើរចេញពីទីនោះ ឆ្ពោះទៅរកខ្លោងទ្វារ មានស្ដ្រីបំរើម្នាក់ទៀត ឃើញគាត់ ហើយពោលថា៖ «អ្នកនេះជាបក្សពួករបស់យេស៊ូ ជាអ្នកភូមិណាសារ៉ែតដែរ!»។

⁷²And again he denied with an oath, I do not know the man.

⁷²លោកពេត្រុសក៏ប្រកែកសាជាថ្មី ទាំងស្បថថា ៖ «ខ្ញុំមិនស្គាល់អ្នកនោះទេ!»។

⁷³And after a while came unto him they that stood by, and said to Peter, Surely thou also art one of them; for thy speech bewrayeth thee.

⁷³បន្ដិចក្រោយមក អស់អ្នកដែលនៅទីនោះ នាំគ្នាចូលទៅជិតលោកពេត្រុស ហើយពោលថា៖ «អ្នកឯងពិតជាបក្សពួករបស់អ្នកទាំងនោះ ព្រោះសំដីអ្នកឯងបញ្ជាក់ច្បាស់ថា អ្នកឯងមកពីស្រុកកាលីឡេមែន!»។

⁷⁴Then began he to curse and to swear, saying, I know not the man. And immediately the cock crew.

⁷⁴លោកពេត្រុសក៏ពោលឡើងថា៖ «បើខ្ញុំកុហក សូមព្រះជាម្ចាស់ដាក់ទោសខ្ញុំចុះ!។ ខ្ញុំសុំស្បថថា ខ្ញុំមិនដែលស្គាល់អ្នកនោះទាល់តែសោះ!»។ រំពេចនោះ ស្រាប់តែមាន់រងាវឡើង

⁷⁵And Peter remembered the word of Jesus, which said unto him, Before the cock crow, thou shalt deny me thrice. And he went out, and wept bitterly.

⁷⁵លោកពេត្រុសក៏នឹកឃើញព្រះបន្ទូលរបស់ព្រះយេស៊ូ ដែលថា ៖ «មុនមាន់រងាវអ្នកនឹងបដិសេធបីដងថា មិនស្គាល់ខ្ញុំ»។ លោកពេត្រុសចាកចេញពីទីនោះ ហើយយំសោកយ៉ាងខ្លោចផ្សា។
