¹And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to him for to shew him the buildings of the temple.

¹Jēzus atstāja svētnīcu un aizgāja. Tad Viņa mācekļi pienāca, lai rādītu Viņam svētnīcas celtnes.

²And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.

²Bet Viņš atbildēja un sacīja tiem: Vai jūs redzat to visu? Patiesi es jums saku: šeit nepaliks akmens uz akmens, kas netiktu nopostīts.

³And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?

³Bet kad Viņš sēdēja Olīvkalnā, mācekļi vieni pienāca pie Viņa un sacīja: Saki mums, kad tas viss notiks, un kāda būs Tavas atnākšanas un pasaules gala zīme?

⁴And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.

⁴Jēzus atbildēja un sacīja viņiem: Uzmanieties, lai neviens jūs nepieviltu!

⁵For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.

⁵Jo daudzi nāks manā vārdā un sacīs: Es esmu Kristus; un tie pievils daudzus.

⁶And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.

⁶Jūs dzirdēsiet par kariem un karu baumām. Pielūkojiet un nebaidieties, jo tam visam jānotiek, bet tas vēl nav gals.

⁷For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.

⁷Jo tauta celsies pret tautu un valsts pret valsti, un būs mēris, bads un vietvietām zemestrīces.

⁸All these are the beginning of sorrows.

⁸Bet tas viss tikai ciešanu sākums.

⁹Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake.

⁹Tad jūs nodos mokās un jūs nonāvēs; un jūs būsiet visu tautu nīsti mana vārda dēļ.

¹⁰And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.

¹⁰Un tad daudzi ieļaunosies, un viens otru nodos, un viens otru ienīdīs.

¹¹And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.

¹¹Un radīsies daudzi viltus pravieši, un pievils daudzus.

¹²And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.

¹²Un tāpēc mīlestība daudzos atdzisīs, jo netaisnība būs pārpilnībā.

¹³But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

¹³Bet, kas pastāvēs līdz galam, tas būs pestīts.

¹⁴And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

¹⁴Un šīs valstības evaņģēlijs tiks sludināts visā pasaulē, visām tautām par liecību; un tad nāks gals.

¹⁵When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)

¹⁵Un, kad jūs redzēsiet izpostīšanas negantību esam svētajā vietā, kā to pravietis Daniēls sacījis, - kas to lasa, lai saprot! -

¹⁶Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains:

¹⁶Tad tie, kas Jūdejā, lai bēg kalnos!

¹⁷Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house:

¹⁷Un kas uz jumta, lai nekāpj zemē iznest kaut ko no savas mājas!

¹⁸Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes.

¹⁸Un kas ir tīrumā, lai neatgriežas paņemt savus virssvārkus!

¹⁹And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days!

¹⁹Bet bēdas grūtniecēm un zīdītājām tanīs dienās.

²⁰But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day:

²⁰Bet lūdziet Dievu, lai jūsu bēgšana nenotiek ziemā vai sabatā!

²¹For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.

²¹Jo tad būs lielas bēdas, kādas nav bijušas no pasaules sākuma līdz pat šim un arī vairs nebūs.

²²And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.

²²Un ja šīs dienas nesaīsinātu, tad neviena miesa neizglābtos; bet izredzēto dēļ šīs dienas saīsinās.

²³Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not.

²³Ja tad kāds jums sacītu: Lūk, še vai tur ir Kristus, neticiet!

²⁴For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

²⁴Jo celsies viltus Kristi un viltus pravieši un darīs lielas zīmes un brīnumus, lai maldinātu, ja tas iespējams, arī izredzētos.

²⁵Behold, I have told you before.

²⁵Lūk, es jums saku to jau iepriekš.

²⁶Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not.

²⁶Ja tad jums sacīs: Lūk, Viņš ir tuksnesī, neizejiet! Lūk, Viņš ir kambaros, tad neticiet!

²⁷For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

²⁷Jo kā zibens rodas austrumos un atspīd līdz rietumiem, tā būs arī ar Cilvēka Dēla atnākšanu.

²⁸For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together.

²⁸Jo kur ir miesa, tur salasās arī ērgļi.

²⁹Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:

²⁹Bet tūdaļ pēc šo bēdu dienām saule aptumšosies, un mēness nedos savu spīdumu, un zvaigznes kritīs no debesīm, un debesu stiprumi sakustēsies.

³⁰And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

³⁰Un tad Cilvēka Dēla zīme parādīsies debesīs; un tad visas zemes ciltis vaimanās; un viņas redzēs Cilvēka Dēlu nākam debesu padebešos lielā spēkā un godībā.

³¹And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

³¹Un Viņš sūtīs savus eņģeļus ar bazūnēm un stipru skaņu; un tie savāks Viņa izredzētos no četriem vējiem, no vienas debesu malas līdz otrai.

³²Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh:

³²Bet mācieties līdzību no vīģes koka: kad zari jau paliek maigi un lapas plaukst, ziniet, ka vasara tuvu!

³³So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.

³³Tā arī jūs: kad visu to redzēsiet, ziniet: Viņš ir tuvu durvīs!

³⁴Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.

³⁴Patiesi es jums saku: šī cilts neizzudīs, kamēr tas viss notiks.

³⁵Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.

³⁵Debess un zeme zudīs, bet mani vārdi nezudīs.

³⁶But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.

³⁶Bet to dienu un stundu neviens nezina, pat ne debesu eņģeļi, kā vienīgi Tēvs.

³⁷But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

³⁷Jo kā bija Noasa dienās, tā būs arī Cilvēka Dēla atnākšanā.

³⁸For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,

³⁸Jo kā tanī laikā pirms ūdens plūdiem viņi ēda un dzēra, precējās un devās laulībā līdz tai dienai, kad Noass iegāja šķirstā,

³⁹And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

³⁹Un viņi nesaprata, iekams plūdi nāca un aizrāva visus; tā būs arī Cilvēka Dēla atnākšanā.

⁴⁰Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

⁴⁰Tad divi būs tīrumā: vienu paņems, otru atstās.

⁴¹Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

⁴¹Divas mals dzirnavās: vienu paņems, otru atstās.

⁴²Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.

⁴²Tāpēc esiet modri, jo jūs nezināt, kurā stundā jūsu Kungs atnāks.

⁴³But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up.

⁴³Bet tas jums jāzina: ja nama tēvs zinātu, kurā stundā zaglis nāks, tad viņš paliktu nomodā un neļautu ielauzties savā mājā.

⁴⁴Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.

⁴⁴Tāpēc esiet arī jūs sagatavoti, jo jūs nezināt, kurā stundā Cilvēka Dēls atnāks.

⁴⁵Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season?

⁴⁵Kā tev šķiet, kurš ir uzticīgais un gudrais kalps, ko kungs iecēla pār savu saimi, lai viņiem dotu barību īstā laikā?

⁴⁶Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.

⁴⁶Svētīgs tas kalps, kuru kungs pārnācis atradīs tā darām.

⁴⁷Verily I say unto you, That he shall make him ruler over all his goods.

⁴⁷Patiesi es jums saku: Viņš to iecels pār visiem saviem īpašumiem.

⁴⁸But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming;

⁴⁸Bet ja ļaunais kalps sacīs savā sirdī: mans kungs kavējas nākt,

⁴⁹And shall begin to smite his fellowservants, and to eat and drink with the drunken;

⁴⁹Un iesāks sist savus līdzdarbiniekus, un ēdīs, un dzers ar plītniekiem,

⁵⁰The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of,

⁵⁰Tad šī kalpa kungs nāks tādā dienā, kad viņš to negaida, un stundā, kuru nezina.

⁵¹And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

⁵¹Un viņš to satrieks un dos tam kopalgu ar liekuļiem: tur būs raudāšana un zobu griešana.
