1So these three men ceased to answer Job, because he was righteous in his own eyes.

2Then was kindled the wrath of Elihu the son of Barachel the Buzite, of the kindred of Ram: against Job was his wrath kindled, because he justified himself rather than God.
2Ary nirehitra kosa ny fahatezeran'i Eliho, zanak'i Barakela, Bozita, avy amin'ny fokon'i Rama; eny, tamin'i Joba no nirehetan'ny fahatezerany, satria nanao ny tenany ho marina noho Andriamanitra izy.
3Also against his three friends was his wrath kindled, because they had found no answer, and yet had condemned Job.
3Ary tamin'ny sakaizany telo lahy koa no nirehetan'ny fahatezerany, satria tsy nahita teny havaliny izy ireo, kanefa nanameloka an'i Joba.[Na: teny havaliny an'i Joba hanamelohany azy]
4Now Elihu had waited till Job had spoken, because they were elder than he.

5When Elihu saw that there was no answer in the mouth of these three men, then his wrath was kindled.

6And Elihu the son of Barachel the Buzite answered and said, I am young, and ye are very old; wherefore I was afraid, and durst not shew you mine opinion.
6ka dia niteny Eliho, zanak'i Barakela, Bozita, ka nanao hoe: Mbola tanora aho, fa ianareo kosa efa fotsy volo, koa dia niaoriandriana aho aloha, fa tsy sahy nanambara aminareo izay fantatro.
7I said, Days should speak, and multitude of years should teach wisdom.
7Hoy izaho: Aoka ny fahanterana no hiteny, ary aoka ny hamaroan'ny taona no hampianatra fahendrena.
8But there is a spirit in man: and the inspiration of the Almighty giveth them understanding.
8Kanefa ny fanahy izay ao anatin'ny zanak'olombelona sy ny fofonoin'ny Tsitoha no mahahendry azy.[Na: Dia]
9Great men are not always wise: neither do the aged understand judgment.
9Tsy dia ny fahalehibiazana no mahahendry, ary tsy dia ny fahanterana no ahalalana ny rariny;
10Therefore I said, Hearken to me; I also will shew mine opinion.
10Ary noho izany dia hoy izaho: Aoka samy hihaino ahy; Izaho koa mba hanambara izay fantatro.
11Behold, I waited for your words; I gave ear to your reasons, whilst ye searched out what to say.
11Indro, niandry ny teninareo aho, ary nandinika ny teny nalahatrareo, mandra-pihevitrareo izay holazaina;
12Yea, I attended unto you, and, behold, there was none of you that convinced Job, or that answered his words:
12Eny, nihaino dia nihaino anareo aho, fa he! tsy nisy naharesy lahatra an'i Joba ianareo, na nahavaly ny teniny akory;
13Lest ye should say, We have found out wisdom: God thrusteth him down, not man.
13Fandrao ianareo hanao hoe: Hitanay ny fotony: Andriamanitra no maharesy azy, fa tsy olona.[Heb. fahendrena]
14Now he hath not directed his words against me: neither will I answer him with your speeches.
14Tsy nandaha-teny hamely ahy anefa izy; Ary tsy araka ny teninareo no havaliko azy.
15They were amazed, they answered no more: they left off speaking.
15Very hevitra terỳ izy ireo, ka tsy namaly intsony; Efa nanalavitra azy ny teny.
16When I had waited, (for they spake not, but stood still, and answered no more;)
16Hangina va aho, raha tsy miteny izy ireo, fa mijanona foana izy ka tsy mamaly intsony?
17I said, I will answer also my part, I also will shew mine opinion.
17Anjarako kosa izao, koa dia hamaly aho; Eny, izaho hanambara izay fantatro;
18For I am full of matter, the spirit within me constraineth me.
18Fa feno teny ny foko; Manery ahy ny fanahy ato anatiko.
19Behold, my belly is as wine which hath no vent; it is ready to burst like new bottles.
19Endrey! ny ato anatiko dia efa tahaka ny divay izay tsy misy hiainana, efa ho triatra tahaka ny siny hoditra vaovao izy.
20I will speak, that I may be refreshed: I will open my lips and answer.
20Hiteny aho mba hisy hiainako tsara; Hiloa-bava aho ka hamaly.
21Let me not, I pray you, accept any man's person, neither let me give flattering titles unto man.
21Aoka tsy hizaha tavan'olona akory aho, ary aoka tsy handrobo olona.Fa tsy mba mahay mandrobo aho; Raha izany, dia halain'ny Mpanao ahy faingana aho.
22For I know not to give flattering titles; in so doing my maker would soon take me away.
