1Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I would not have you ignorant.
1സഹോദരന്മാരേ, ആത്മികവരങ്ങളെക്കുറിച്ചു നിങ്ങള്ക്കു അറിവില്ലാതിരിക്കരുതു എന്നു ഞാന് ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നു.
2Ye know that ye were Gentiles, carried away unto these dumb idols, even as ye were led.
2നിങ്ങള് ജാതികള് ആയിരുന്നപ്പോള് നിങ്ങളെ നടത്തിയതുപോലെ ഊമവിഗ്രഹങ്ങളുടെ അടുക്കല് പോക പതിവായിരുന്നു എന്നു നിങ്ങള് അറിയുന്നുവല്ലോ.
3Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed: and that no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost.
3ആകയാല് ദൈവാത്മാവില് സംസാരിക്കുന്നവന് ആരും യേശു ശപിക്കപ്പെട്ടവന് എന്നു പറകയില്ല; പരിശുദ്ധാത്മാവില് അല്ലാതെ യേശു കര്ത്താവു എന്നു പറവാന് ആര്ക്കും കഴികയുമില്ല എന്നു ഞാന് നിങ്ങളെ ഗ്രഹിപ്പിക്കുന്നു.
4Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit.
4എന്നാല് കൃപാവരങ്ങളില് വ്യത്യാസം ഉണ്ടു; ആത്മാവു ഒന്നത്രേ.
5And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord.
5ശുശ്രൂഷകളില് വ്യത്യാസം ഉണ്ടു; കര്ത്താവു ഒരുവന് .
6And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all.
6വീര്യ്യപ്രവൃത്തികളില് വ്യത്യാസം ഉണ്ടു; എങ്കിലും എല്ലാവരിലും എല്ലാം പ്രവര്ത്തിക്കുന്ന ദൈവം ഒരുവന് തന്നേ.
7But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal.
7എന്നാല് ഔരോരുത്തന്നു ആത്മാവിന്റെ പ്രകാശനം പൊതുപ്രയോജനത്തിന്നായി നല്കപ്പെടുന്നു.
8For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit;
8ഒരുത്തന്നു ആത്മാവിനാല് ജ്ഞാനത്തിന്റെ വചനവും മറ്റൊരുത്തന്നു അതേ ആത്മാവിനാല് പരിജ്ഞാനത്തിന്റെ വചനവും നല്കപ്പെടുന്നു;
9To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit;
9വേറൊരുത്തന്നു അതേ ആത്മാവിനാല് വിശ്വാസം, മറ്റൊരുവന്നു അതേ ആത്മാവിനാല് രോഗശാന്തികളുടെ വരം;
10To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues:
10മറ്റൊരുവന്നു വീര്യ്യപ്രവൃത്തികള്; മറ്റൊരുവന്നു പ്രവചനം; മറ്റൊരുവന്നു ആത്മാക്കളുടെ വിവേചനം; വേറൊരുവന്നു പലവിധ ഭാഷകള്; മറ്റൊരുവന്നു ഭാഷകളുടെ വ്യാഖ്യാനം.
11But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will.
11എന്നാല് ഇതു എല്ലാം പ്രവര്ത്തിക്കുന്നതു താന് ഇച്ഛിക്കുംപോലെ അവനവന്നു അതതു വരം പകുത്തുകൊടുക്കുന്ന ഒരേ ആത്മാവു തന്നേ.
12For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ.
12ശരീരം ഒന്നും, അതിന്നു അവയവം പലതും ശരീരത്തിന്റെ അവയവം പലതായിരിക്കെ എല്ലാം ഒരു ശരീരവും ആയിരിക്കുന്നതുപോലെ ആകുന്നു ക്രിസ്തുവും.
13For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.
13യെഹൂദന്മാരോ യവനന്മാരോ ദാസന്മാരോ സ്വതന്ത്രരോ നാം എല്ലാവരും ഏകശരീരമാകുമാറു ഒരേ ആത്മാവില് സ്നാനം ഏറ്റും എല്ലാവരും ഒരേ ആത്മാവിനെ പാനംചെയ്തുമിരിക്കുന്നു.
14For the body is not one member, but many.
14ശരീരം ഒരു അവയവമല്ല പലതത്രേ.
15If the foot shall say, Because I am not the hand, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body?
15ഞാന് കൈ അല്ലായ്കകൊണ്ടു ശരീരത്തിലുള്ളതല്ല എന്നു കാല് പറയുന്നു എങ്കില് അതിനാല് അതു ശരീരത്തിലുള്ളതല്ല എന്നു വരികയില്ല.
16And if the ear shall say, Because I am not the eye, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body?
16ഞാന് കണ്ണു അല്ലായ്കകൊണ്ടു ശരീരത്തിലുള്ളതല്ല എന്നു ചെവി പറയുന്നു എങ്കില് അതിനാല് അതു ശരീരത്തിലുള്ളതല്ല എന്നും വരികയില്ല.
17If the whole body were an eye, where were the hearing? If the whole were hearing, where were the smelling?
17ശരീരം മുഴുവന് കണ്ണായാല് ശ്രവണം എവിടെ? മുഴുവന് ശ്രവണം ആയാല് ഘ്രാണം എവിടെ?
18But now hath God set the members every one of them in the body, as it hath pleased him.
18ദൈവമോ തന്റെ ഇഷ്ടപ്രകാരം അവയവങ്ങളെ ശരീരത്തില് വെവ്വേറായി വെച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.
19And if they were all one member, where were the body?
19സകലവും ഒരു അവയവം എങ്കില് ശരീരം എവിടെ?
20But now are they many members, yet but one body.
20എന്നാല് അവയവങ്ങള് പലതെങ്കിലും ശരീരം ഒന്നു തന്നേ.
21And the eye cannot say unto the hand, I have no need of thee: nor again the head to the feet, I have no need of you.
21കണ്ണിന്നു കയ്യോടുനിന്നെക്കൊണ്ടു എനിക്കു ആവശ്യമില്ല എന്നും, തലെക്കു കാലുകളോടുനിങ്ങളെക്കൊണ്ടു എനിക്കു ആവശ്യമില്ല എന്നുംപറഞ്ഞുകൂടാ.
22Nay, much more those members of the body, which seem to be more feeble, are necessary:
22ശരീരത്തില് ബലം കുറഞ്ഞവ എന്നു തോന്നുന്ന അവയവങ്ങള് തന്നേ ആവശ്യമുള്ളവയാകുന്നു.
23And those members of the body, which we think to be less honourable, upon these we bestow more abundant honour; and our uncomely parts have more abundant comeliness.
23ശരീരത്തില് മാനം കുറഞ്ഞവ എന്നു തോന്നുന്നവേക്കു നാം അധികം മാനം അണിയിക്കുന്നു; നമ്മില് അഴകു കുറഞ്ഞവേക്കു അധികം അഴകു വരുത്തുന്നു;
24For our comely parts have no need: but God hath tempered the body together, having given more abundant honour to that part which lacked.
24നമ്മില് അഴകുള്ള അവയവങ്ങള്ക്കു അതു ആവശ്യമില്ലല്ലോ.
25That there should be no schism in the body; but that the members should have the same care one for another.
25ശരീരത്തില് ഭിന്നത വരാതെ അവയവങ്ങള് അന്യോന്യം ഒരുപോലെ കരുതേണ്ടതിന്നായി ദൈവം കുറവുള്ളതിന്നു അധികം മാനം കൊടുത്തുകൊണ്ടു ശരീരത്തെ കൂട്ടിച്ചേര്ത്തിരിക്കുന്നു.
26And whether one member suffer, all the members suffer with it; or one member be honoured, all the members rejoice with it.
26അതിനാല് ഒരുഅവയവം കഷ്ടം അനുഭവിക്കുന്നു എങ്കില് അവയവങ്ങള് ഒക്കെയും കൂടെ കഷ്ടം അനുഭവിക്കുന്നു; ഒരു അവയവത്തിന്നു മാനം വന്നാല് അവയവങ്ങള് ഒക്കെയുംകൂടെ സന്തോഷിക്കുന്നു.
27Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular.
27എന്നാല് നിങ്ങള് ക്രിസ്തുവിന്റെ ശരീരവും ഔരോരുത്തന് വെവ്വേറായി അവയവങ്ങളും ആകുന്നു.
28And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of tongues.
28ദൈവം സഭയില് ഒന്നാമതു അപ്പൊസ്തലന്മാര്, രണ്ടാമതു പ്രവാചകന്മാര് മൂന്നാമതു ഉപദേഷ്ടാക്കന്മാര് ഇങ്ങനെ ഔരോരുത്തരെ നിയമിക്കയും പിന്നെ വീര്യ്യപ്രവൃത്തികള്, രോഗശാന്തികളുടെ വരം, സഹായം ചെയ്വാനുള്ള വരം, പരിപാലനവരം, വിവിധഭാഷാവരം എന്നിവ നലകുകയും ചെയ്തു.
29Are all apostles? are all prophets? are all teachers? are all workers of miracles?
29എല്ലാവരും അപ്പൊസ്തലന്മാരോ? എല്ലാവരും പ്രവാചകന്മാരോ? എല്ലാവരും ഉപദേഷ്ടാക്കന്മാരോ? എല്ലാവരും വീര്യ്യപ്രവൃത്തികള് ചെയ്യുന്നവരോ?
30Have all the gifts of healing? do all speak with tongues? do all interpret?
30എല്ലാവര്ക്കും രോഗശാന്തിക്കുള്ള വരംഉണ്ടോ? എല്ലാവരും അന്യഭാഷകളില് സംസാരിക്കുന്നുവോ?
31But covet earnestly the best gifts: and yet shew I unto you a more excellent way.
31എല്ലാവരും വ്യാഖ്യാനിക്കുന്നുവോ? ശ്രേഷ്ഠവരങ്ങളെ വാഞ്ഛിപ്പിന് ; ഇനി അതിശ്രേഷ്ഠമായോരു മാര്ഗ്ഗം ഞാന് നിങ്ങള്ക്കു കാണിച്ചുതരാം.
