1And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, even as unto babes in Christ.
1എന്നാല് സഹോദരന്മാരേ, നിങ്ങളോടു എനിക്കു ആത്മികന്മാരോടു എന്നപോലെ അല്ല, ജഡികന്മാരോടു എന്നപോലെ, ക്രിസ്തുവില് ശിശുക്കളായവരോടു എന്നപോലെ അത്രേ സംസാരിപ്പാന് കഴിഞ്ഞുള്ളു.
2I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto ye were not able to bear it, neither yet now are ye able.
2ഭക്ഷണമല്ല, പാല് അത്രേ ഞാന് നിങ്ങള്ക്കു തന്നതു; ഭക്ഷിപ്പാന് നിങ്ങള്ക്കു കഴിവില്ലായിരുന്നു; ഇപ്പോഴും കഴിവായിട്ടില്ല; ഇന്നും നിങ്ങള് ജഡികന്മാരല്ലോ.
3For ye are yet carnal: for whereas there is among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not carnal, and walk as men?
3നിങ്ങളുടെ ഇടയില് ഈര്ഷ്യയും പിണക്കവും ഇരിക്കെ, നിങ്ങള് ജഡികന്മാരും ശേഷം മനുഷ്യരെപ്പോലെ നടക്കുന്നവരുമല്ലയോ?
4For while one saith, I am of Paul; and another, I am of Apollos; are ye not carnal?
4ഒരുത്തന് ഞാന് പൌലൊസിന്റെ പക്ഷക്കാരന് എന്നും മറ്റൊരുത്തന് ഞാന് അപ്പൊല്ലോസിന്റെ പക്ഷക്കാരന് എന്നും പറയുമ്പോള് നിങ്ങള് സാധാരണമനുഷ്യരല്ലയോ?
5Who then is Paul, and who is Apollos, but ministers by whom ye believed, even as the Lord gave to every man?
5അപ്പൊല്ലോസ് ആര്? പൌലൊസ് ആര്? തങ്ങള്ക്കു കര്ത്താവു നല്കിയതുപോലെ നിങ്ങള് വിശ്വസിപ്പാന് കാരണമായിത്തീര്ന്ന ശുശ്രൂഷക്കാരത്രേ.
6I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase.
6ഞാന് നട്ടു, അപ്പൊല്ലോസ് നനെച്ചു, ദൈവമത്രേ വളരുമാറാക്കിയതു.
7So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase.
7ആകയാല് വളരുമാറാക്കുന്ന ദൈവമല്ലാതെ നടുന്നവനും നനെക്കുന്നവനും ഏതുമില്ല.
8Now he that planteth and he that watereth are one: and every man shall receive his own reward according to his own labour.
8നടുന്നവനും നനെക്കുന്നവനും ഒരുപോലെ; ഔരോരുത്തന്നു താന്താന്റെ അദ്ധ്വാനത്തിന്നു ഒത്തവണ്ണം കൂലി കിട്ടും.
9For we are labourers together with God: ye are God's husbandry, ye are God's building.
9ഞങ്ങള് ദൈവത്തിന്റെ കൂട്ടുവേലക്കാര്; നിങ്ങള് ദൈവത്തിന്റെ കൃഷി, ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ഗൃഹനിര്മ്മാണം.
10According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon.
10എനിക്കു ലഭിച്ച ദൈവകൃപെക്കു ഒത്തവണ്ണം ഞാന് ജ്ഞാനമുള്ളോരു പ്രധാനശില്പിയായി അടിസ്ഥാനം ഇട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു; മറ്റൊരുത്തന് മീതെ പണിയുന്നു; താന് എങ്ങനെ പണിയുന്നു എന്നു ഔരോരുത്തനും നോക്കിക്കൊള്ളട്ടെ.
11For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.
11യേശുക്രിസ്തു എന്ന ഇട്ടിരിക്കുന്ന അടിസ്ഥാനമല്ലാതെ മറ്റൊന്നു ഇടുവാന് ആര്ക്കും കഴികയില്ല.
12Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble;
12ആ അടിസ്ഥാനത്തിന്മേല് ആരെങ്കിലും പൊന്നു, വെള്ളി, വിലയേറിയ കല്ലു, മരം, പുല്ലു, വൈക്കോല് എന്നിവ പണിയുന്നു എങ്കില് അവനവന്റെ പ്രവൃത്തി വെളിപ്പെട്ടുവരും;
13Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is.
13ആ ദിവസം അതിനെ തെളിവാക്കും; അതു തീയോടെ വെളിപ്പെട്ടുവരും; ഔരോരുത്തന്റെ പ്രവൃത്തി ഇന്നവിധം എന്നു തീ തന്നേ ശോധന ചെയ്യും.
14If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward.
14ഒരുത്തന് പണിത പ്രവൃത്തി നിലനിലക്കും എങ്കില് അവന്നു പ്രതിഫലം കിട്ടും.
15If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.
15ഒരുത്തന്റെ പ്രവൃത്തി വെന്തുപോയെങ്കില് അവന്നു ചേതം വരും; താനോ രക്ഷിക്കപ്പെടും; എന്നാല് തീയില്കൂടി എന്നപോലെ അത്രേ.
16Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?
16നിങ്ങള് ദൈവത്തിന്റെ മന്ദിരം എന്നും ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ആത്മാവു നിങ്ങളില് വസിക്കുന്നു എന്നും അറിയുന്നില്ലയോ?
17If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.
17ദൈവത്തിന്റെ മന്ദിരം നശിപ്പിക്കുന്നവനെ ദൈവം നശിപ്പിക്കും; ദൈവത്തിന്റെ മന്ദിരം വിശുദ്ധമല്ലോ; നിങ്ങളും അങ്ങനെ തന്നേ.
18Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you seemeth to be wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he may be wise.
18ആരും തന്നെത്താന് വഞ്ചിക്കരുതു; താന് ഈ ലോകത്തില് ജ്ഞാനി എന്നു നിങ്ങളില് ആര്ക്കെങ്കിലും തോന്നിയാല് അവന് ജ്ഞാനിയാകേണ്ടതിന്നു ഭോഷനായിത്തീരട്ടെ.
19For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He taketh the wise in their own craftiness.
19ഈ ലോകത്തിന്റെ ജ്ഞാനം ദൈവസന്നിധിയില് ഭോഷത്വമത്രേ. “അവന് ജ്ഞാനികളെ അവരുടെ കൌശലത്തില് പിടിക്കുന്നു” എന്നും
20And again, The Lord knoweth the thoughts of the wise, that they are vain.
20“കര്ത്താവു ജ്ഞാനികളുടെ വിചാരം വ്യര്ത്ഥം എന്നറിയുന്നു” എന്നും എഴുതിയിരിക്കുന്നുവല്ലോ.
21Therefore let no man glory in men. For all things are your's;
21ആകയാല് ആരും മനുഷ്യരില് പ്രശംസിക്കരുതു; സകലവും നിങ്ങള്ക്കുള്ളതല്ലോ.
22Whether Paul, or Apollos, or Cephas, or the world, or life, or death, or things present, or things to come; all are your's;
22പൌലൊസോ, അപ്പൊല്ലൊസോ, കേഫാവോ, ലോകമോ, ജീവനോ, മരണമോ, ഇപ്പോഴുള്ളതോ, വരുവാനുള്ളതോ സകലവും നിങ്ങള്ക്കുള്ളതു.
23And ye are Christ's; and Christ is God's.
23നിങ്ങളോ ക്രിസ്തുവിന്നുള്ളവര്; ക്രിസ്തു ദൈവത്തിന്നുള്ളവന് .
