1Manasseh was twelve years old when he began to reign, and reigned fifty and five years in Jerusalem. And his mother's name was Hephzibah.
1മനശ്ശെ വാഴ്ചതുടങ്ങിയപ്പോള് അവന്നു പന്ത്രണ്ടു വയസ്സായിരുന്നു; അവന് അമ്പത്തഞ്ചു സംവത്സരം യെരൂശലേമില് വാണു അവന്റെ അമ്മെക്കു ഹെഫ്സീബ എന്നു പേര്.
2And he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD, after the abominations of the heathen, whom the LORD cast out before the children of Israel.
2എന്നാല് യഹോവ യിസ്രായേല്മക്കളുടെ മുമ്പില്നിന്നു നീക്കിക്കളഞ്ഞ ജാതികളുടെ മ്ളേച്ഛതകള്ക്കൊത്തവണ്ണം അവന് യഹോവേക്കു അനിഷ്ടമായുള്ളതു ചെയ്തു.
3For he built up again the high places which Hezekiah his father had destroyed; and he reared up altars for Baal, and made a grove, as did Ahab king of Israel; and worshipped all the host of heaven, and served them.
3തന്റെ അപ്പനായ ഹിസ്കീയാവു നശിപ്പിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞിരുന്ന പൂജാഗിരികളെ അവന് വീണ്ടും പണിതു; ബാലിന്നു ബലിപീഠങ്ങള് ഉണ്ടാക്കി; യിസ്രായേല്രാജാവായ ആഹാബ് ചെയ്തതു പോലെ ഒരു അശേരാപ്രതിഷ്ഠ പ്രതിഷ്ഠിച്ചു ആകാശത്തിലെ സര്വ്വസൈന്യത്തെയും നമസ്കരിച്ചു സേവിച്ചു.
4And he built altars in the house of the LORD, of which the LORD said, In Jerusalem will I put my name.
4യെരൂശലേമില് ഞാന് എന്റെ നാം സ്ഥാപിക്കുമെന്നു യഹോവ കല്പിച്ചിരുന്ന യഹോവയുടെ ആലയത്തിലും അവന് ബലിപീഠങ്ങള് പണിതു.
5And he built altars for all the host of heaven in the two courts of the house of the LORD.
5യഹോവയുടെ ആലയത്തിന്റെ രണ്ടു പ്രാകാരങ്ങളിലും അവന് ആകാശത്തിലെ സര്വ്വസൈന്യത്തിന്നും ബലിപീഠങ്ങള് പണിതു;
6And he made his son pass through the fire, and observed times, and used enchantments, and dealt with familiar spirits and wizards: he wrought much wickedness in the sight of the LORD, to provoke him to anger.
6അവന് തന്റെ മകനെ അഗ്നി പ്രവേശം ചെയ്യിക്കയും മുഹൂര്ത്തം നോക്കുകയും ആഭിചാരം പ്രയോഗിക്കയും വെളിച്ചപ്പാടന്മാരെയും ലക്ഷണം പറയുന്നവരെയും നിയമിക്കയും ചെയ്തു. യഹോവയെ കോപിപ്പിപ്പാന് തക്കവണ്ണം അവന്നു അനിഷ്ടമായുള്ളതു പലതും ചെയ്തു.
7And he set a graven image of the grove that he had made in the house, of which the LORD said to David, and to Solomon his son, In this house, and in Jerusalem, which I have chosen out of all tribes of Israel, will I put my name for ever:
7ഈ ആലയത്തിലും യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ സകലഗോത്രങ്ങളില് നിന്നും ഞാന് തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്തിരിക്കുന്ന യെരൂശലേമിലും ഞാന് എന്റെ നാമം എന്നേക്കും സ്ഥാപിക്കും എന്നു യഹോവ ദാവീദിനോടും അവന്റെ മകനായ ശലോമോനോടും അരുളിച്ചെയ്ത ആലയത്തില് താന് ഉണ്ടാക്കിയ അശേരാപ്രതിഷ്ഠ അവന് പ്രതിഷ്ഠിച്ചു.
8Neither will I make the feet of Israel move any more out of the land which I gave their fathers; only if they will observe to do according to all that I have commanded them, and according to all the law that my servant Moses commanded them.
8ഞാന് അവരോടു കല്പിച്ചതൊക്കെയും എന്റെ ദാസനായ മോശെ അവരോടു കല്പിച്ച സകല ന്യായപ്രമാണവും അനുസരിച്ചു നടക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു അവര് ശ്രദ്ധിക്കമാത്രം ചെയ്താല് ഇനി യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ കാല്, അവരുടെ പിതാക്കന്മാര്ക്കും ഞാന് കൊടുത്ത ദേശം വിട്ടലയുവാന് ഇടവരുത്തുകയില്ല എന്നു യഹോവ കല്പിച്ചിരുന്നു.
9But they hearkened not: and Manasseh seduced them to do more evil than did the nations whom the LORD destroyed before the children of Israel.
9എന്നാല് അവര് കേട്ടനുസരിച്ചില്ല; യഹോവ യിസ്രായേല്മക്കളുടെ മുമ്പില്നിന്നു നശിപ്പിച്ച ജാതികളെക്കാളും അധികം ദോഷം ചെയ്വാന് മനശ്ശെ അവരെ തെറ്റിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞു.
10And the LORD spake by his servants the prophets, saying,
10ആകയാല് യഹോവ, പ്രവാചകന്മാരായ തന്റെ ദാസന്മാര് മുഖാന്തരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതെന്തെന്നാല്
11Because Manasseh king of Judah hath done these abominations, and hath done wickedly above all that the Amorites did, which were before him, and hath made Judah also to sin with his idols:
11യെഹൂദാരാജാവായ മനശ്ശെ തനിക്കു മുമ്പെ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്ന അമോര്യ്യര് ചെയ്ത സകലത്തെക്കാളും അധികം ദോഷമായി ഈ മ്ളേച്ഛതകള് പ്രവര്ത്തിച്ചിരിക്കയാലും തന്റെ വിഗ്രഹങ്ങളെക്കൊണ്ടു യെഹൂദയെയും പാപം ചെയ്യിക്കയാലും
12Therefore thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Behold, I am bringing such evil upon Jerusalem and Judah, that whosoever heareth of it, both his ears shall tingle.
12യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നുകേള്ക്കുന്ന ഏവന്റെയും ചെവി രണ്ടും മുഴങ്ങത്തക്കവണ്ണമുള്ള അനര്ത്ഥം ഞാന് യെരൂശലേമിന്നും യെഹൂദെക്കും വരുത്തും.
13And I will stretch over Jerusalem the line of Samaria, and the plummet of the house of Ahab: and I will wipe Jerusalem as a man wipeth a dish, wiping it, and turning it upside down.
13ഞാന് യെരൂശലേമിന്മേല് ശമര്യ്യയുടെ അളവുനൂലും ആഹാബ് ഗൃഹത്തിന്റെ തൂക്കുകട്ടയും പിടിക്കും; ഒരുത്തന് ഒരു തളിക തുടെക്കയും തുടെച്ചശേഷം അതു കവിഴ്ത്തിവെക്കയും ചെയ്യുന്നതുപോലെ ഞാന് യെരൂശലേമിനെ തുടെച്ചുകളയും.
14And I will forsake the remnant of mine inheritance, and deliver them into the hand of their enemies; and they shall become a prey and a spoil to all their enemies;
14എന്റെ അവകാശത്തിന്റെ ശേഷിപ്പു ഞാന് ത്യജിച്ചു അവരെ അവരുടെ ശത്രുക്കളുടെ കയ്യില് ഏല്പിക്കും; അവര് തങ്ങളുടെ സകലശത്രുക്കള്ക്കും കവര്ച്ചയും കൊള്ളയും ആയ്തീരും.
15Because they have done that which was evil in my sight, and have provoked me to anger, since the day their fathers came forth out of Egypt, even unto this day.
15അവരുടെ പിതാക്കന്മാര് മിസ്രയീമില്നിന്നു പുറപ്പെട്ട നാള്മുതല് ഇന്നുവരെ അവര് എനിക്കു അനിഷ്ടമായുള്ളതു ചെയ്തു എന്നെ കോപിപ്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നതുകൊണ്ടു തന്നേ.
16Moreover Manasseh shed innocent blood very much, till he had filled Jerusalem from one end to another; beside his sin wherewith he made Judah to sin, in doing that which was evil in the sight of the LORD.
16അത്രയുമല്ല, യഹോവേക്കു അനിഷ്ടമായുള്ളതു ചെയ്യേണ്ടതിന്നു മനശ്ശെ യെഹൂദയെക്കൊണ്ടു ചെയ്യിച്ച പാപം കൂടാതെ അവന് യെരൂശലേമില് ഒരറ്റംമുതല് മറ്റേഅറ്റംവരെ നിറെപ്പാന് തക്കവണ്ണം കുറ്റമില്ലാത്ത രക്തവും ഏറ്റവും വളരെ ചിന്നിച്ചു.
17Now the rest of the acts of Manasseh, and all that he did, and his sin that he sinned, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah?
17മനശ്ശെയുടെ മറ്റുള്ള വൃത്താന്തങ്ങളും അവന് ചെയ്തതൊക്കെയും അവന്റെ പാപവും യെഹൂദാരാജാക്കന്മാരുടെ വൃത്താന്തപുസ്തകത്തില് എഴുതിയിരിക്കുന്നുവല്ലോ.
18And Manasseh slept with his fathers, and was buried in the garden of his own house, in the garden of Uzza: and Amon his son reigned in his stead.
18മനശ്ശെ തന്റെ പിതാക്കന്മാരെപ്പോലെ നിദ്രപ്രാപിച്ചു; അരമനയുടെ തോട്ടത്തില്, ഉസ്സയുടെ തോട്ടത്തില് തന്നേ, അവനെ അടക്കംചെയ്തു; അവന്റെ മകനായ ആമോന് അവന്നുപകരം രാജാവായി.
19Amon was twenty and two years old when he began to reign, and he reigned two years in Jerusalem. And his mother's name was Meshullemeth, the daughter of Haruz of Jotbah.
19ആമോന് വാഴ്ചതുടങ്ങിയപ്പോള് അവന്നു ഇരുപത്തിരണ്ടു വയസ്സായിരുന്നു; അവന് രണ്ടു സംവത്സരം യെരൂശലേമില് വാണു. അവന്റെ അമ്മെക്കു മെശൂല്ലേമെത്ത് എന്നു പേര്; അവള് യൊത്ബക്കാരനായ ഹാരൂസിന്റെ മകള് ആയിരുന്നു.
20And he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD, as his father Manasseh did.
20അവന് തന്റെ അപ്പനായ മനശ്ശെ ചെയ്തതുപോലെ യഹോവേക്കു അനിഷ്ടമായുള്ളതു ചെയ്തു;
21And he walked in all the way that his father walked in, and served the idols that his father served, and worshipped them:
21തന്റെ അപ്പന് നടന്ന വഴിയിലൊക്കെയും നടന്നു; തന്റെ അപ്പന് സേവിച്ച വിഗ്രഹങ്ങളെയും സേവിച്ചു നമസ്കരിച്ചു.
22And he forsook the LORD God of his fathers, and walked not in the way of the LORD.
22അങ്ങനെ അവന് തന്റെ പിതാക്കന്മാരുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയെ ഉപേക്ഷിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞു; യഹോവയുടെ വഴിയില് നടന്നതുമില്ല.
23And the servants of Amon conspired against him, and slew the king in his own house.
23എന്നാല് ആമോന്റെ ഭൃത്യന്മാര് അവന്റെ നേരെ കൂട്ടുകെട്ടുണ്ടാക്കി രാജാവിനെ അരമനയില്വെച്ചു കൊന്നുകളഞ്ഞു;
24And the people of the land slew all them that had conspired against king Amon; and the people of the land made Josiah his son king in his stead.
24എന്നാല് ദേശത്തെ ജനം ആമോന് രാജാവിന്റെ നേരെ കൂട്ടുകെട്ടുണ്ടാക്കിയവരെ ഒക്കെയും കൊന്നു; ദേശത്തെ ജനം അവന്റെ മകനായ യോശീയാവെ അവന്നുപകരം രാജാവാക്കി.
25Now the rest of the acts of Amon which he did, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah?
25ആമോന് ചെയ്ത മറ്റുള്ള വൃത്താന്തങ്ങള് യെഹൂദാരാജാക്കന്മാരുടെ വൃത്താന്തപുസ്തകത്തില് എഴുതിയിരിക്കുന്നുവല്ലോ.
26And he was buried in his sepulchre in the garden of Uzza: and Josiah his son reigned in his stead.
26ഉസ്സയുടെ തോട്ടത്തിലെ അവന്റെ കല്ലറയില് അവനെ അടക്കംചെയ്തു. അവന്റെ മകനായ യോശീയാവു അവന്നുപകരം രാജാവായി.
