1God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,
1ദൈവം പണ്ടു ഭാഗം ഭാഗമായിട്ടും വിവിധമായിട്ടും പ്രവാചകന്മാര്മുഖാന്തരം പിതാക്കന്മാരോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തിട്ടു
2Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;
2ഈ അന്ത്യകാലത്തു പുത്രന് മുഖാന്തരം നമ്മോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു. അവനെ താന് സകലത്തിന്നും അവകാശിയാക്കി വെച്ചു; അവന് മുഖാന്തരം ലോകത്തെയും ഉണ്ടാക്കി.
3Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high:
3അവന് അവന്റെ തേജസ്സിന്റെ പ്രഭയും തത്വത്തിന്റെ മുദ്രയും സകലത്തേയും തന്റെ ശക്തിയുള്ള വചനത്താല് വഹിക്കുന്നവനും ആകകൊണ്ടു പാപങ്ങള്ക്കു പരിഹാരം ഉണ്ടാക്കിയശേഷം ഉയരത്തില് മഹിമയുടെ വലത്തുഭാഗത്തു ഇരിക്കയും
4Being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.
4അവന് ദൈവദൂതന്മാരെക്കാള് വിശിഷ്ടമായ നാമത്തിന്നു അവകാശിയായതിന്നു ഒത്തവണ്ണം അവരെക്കാള് ശ്രേഷ്ഠനായിത്തീരുകയും ചെയ്തു.
5For unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son?
5“നീ എന്റെ പുത്രന് ; ഞാന് ഇന്നു നിന്നെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു” എന്നും “ഞാന് അവന്നു പിതാവും അവന് എനിക്കു പുത്രനും ആയിരിക്കും” എന്നും ദൂതന്മാരില് ആരോടെങ്കിലും വല്ലപ്പോഴും അരുളിച്ചെയ്തിട്ടുണ്ടോ?
6And again, when he bringeth in the firstbegotten into the world, he saith, And let all the angels of God worship him.
6ആദ്യജാതനെ പിന്നെയും ഭൂതലത്തിലേക്കു പ്രവേശിപ്പിക്കുമ്പോള്“ദൈവത്തിന്റെ സകലദൂതന്മാരും അവനെ നമസ്കരിക്കേണം” എന്നു താന് അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു.
7And of the angels he saith, Who maketh his angels spirits, and his ministers a flame of fire.
7“അവന് കാറ്റുകളെ തന്റെ ദൂതന്മാരും അഗ്നിജ്വാലയെ തന്റെ ശുശ്രൂഷകന്മാരും ആക്കുന്നു” എന്നു ദൂതന്മാരെക്കുറിച്ചു പറയുന്നു.
8But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom.
8പുത്രനോടോ“ദൈവമേ, നിന്റെ സിംഹാസനം എന്നും എന്നേക്കുമുള്ളതു; നിന്റെ രാജത്വത്തിന്റെ ചെങ്കോല് നേരുള്ള ചെങ്കോല്.
9Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.
9നീ നീതിയെ ഇഷ്ടപ്പെടുകയും ദുഷ്ടതയെ ദ്വേഷിക്കയും ചെയ്തിരിക്കയാല് ദൈവമേ, നിന്റെ ദൈവം നിന്റെ കൂട്ടുകാരില് പരമായി നിന്നെ ആനന്ദതൈലംകൊണ്ടു അഭിഷേകം ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു” എന്നും
10And, Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of thine hands:
10“കര്ത്താവേ, നീ പൂര്വ്വകാലത്തു ഭൂമിക്കു അടിസ്ഥാനം ഇട്ടു, ആകാശവും നിന്റെ കൈകളുടെ പ്രവൃത്തി ആകുന്നു.
11They shall perish; but thou remainest; and they all shall wax old as doth a garment;
11അവ നശിക്കും; നീയോ നിലനിലക്കും; അവ എല്ലാം വസ്ത്രംപോലെ പഴകിപ്പോകും;
12And as a vesture shalt thou fold them up, and they shall be changed: but thou art the same, and thy years shall not fail.
12ഉടുപ്പുപോലെ നീ അവയെ ചുരുട്ടും; വസ്ത്രംപോലെ അവ മാറിപ്പോകും; നീയോ അനന്യന് ; നിന്റെ സംവത്സരങ്ങള് അവസാനിക്കയുമില്ല” എന്നും പറയുന്നു.
13But to which of the angels said he at any time, Sit on my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool?
13“ഞാന് നിന്റെ ശത്രുക്കളെ നിനക്കു പാദപീഠമാക്കുവോളം നീ എന്റെ വലത്തുഭാഗത്തിരിക്ക” എന്നു ദൂതന്മാരില് ആരോടെങ്കിലും വല്ലപ്പോഴും അരുളിച്ചെയ്തിട്ടുണ്ടോ?
14Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?
14അവര് ഒക്കെയും രക്ഷപ്രാപിപ്പാനുള്ളവരുടെ ശുശ്രൂഷെക്കു അയക്കപ്പെടുന്ന സേവകാത്മാക്കളല്ലയോ?
