1I AM the man that hath seen affliction by the rod of his wrath.
1ഞാന് അവന്റെ കോപത്തിന്റെ വടികൊണ്ടു കഷ്ടം കണ്ട പുരുഷനാകുന്നു.
2He hath led me, and brought me into darkness, but not into light.
2അവന് എന്നെ വെളിച്ചത്തിലല്ല, ഇരുട്ടിലത്രേ നടത്തിക്കൊണ്ടു പോന്നിരിക്കുന്നതു.
3Surely against me is he turned; he turneth his hand against me all the day.
3അതേ, അവന് ഇടവിടാതെ പിന്നെയും പിന്നെയും തന്റെ കൈ എന്റെ നേരെ തിരിക്കുന്നു.
4My flesh and my skin hath he made old; he hath broken my bones.
4എന്റെ മാംസത്തെയും ത്വക്കിനെയും അവന് ജീര്ണ്ണമാക്കി, എന്റെ അസ്ഥികളെ തകര്ത്തിരിക്കുന്നു.
5He hath builded against me, and compassed me with gall and travail.
5അവന് എന്റെ നേരെ പിണിതു, നഞ്ചും പ്രയാസവും എന്നെ ചുറ്റുമാറാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു.
6He hath set me in dark places, as they that be dead of old.
6ശാശ്വതമൃതന്മാരെപ്പോലെ അവന് എന്നെ ഇരുട്ടില് പാര്പ്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.
7He hath hedged me about, that I cannot get out: he hath made my chain heavy.
7പുറത്തു പോകുവാന് കഴിയാതവണ്ണം അവന് എന്നെ വേലികെട്ടിയടച്ചു എന്റെ ചങ്ങലയെ ഭാരമാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു.
8Also when I cry and shout, he shutteth out my prayer.
8ഞാന് ക്കുകി നിലവിളിച്ചാലും അവന് എന്റെ പ്രാര്ത്ഥന തടുത്തുകളയുന്നു.
9He hath inclosed my ways with hewn stone, he hath made my paths crooked.
9വെട്ടുകല്ലുകൊണ്ടു അവന് എന്റെ വഴി അടെച്ചു, എന്റെ പാതകളെ വികടമാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു.
10He was unto me as a bear lying in wait, and as a lion in secret places.
10അവന് എനിക്കു പതിയിരിക്കുന്ന കരടിയെപ്പോലെയും മറഞ്ഞുനിലക്കുന്ന സിംഹത്തെപ്പോലെയും ആകുന്നു.
11He hath turned aside my ways, and pulled me in pieces: he hath made me desolate.
11അവന് എന്റെ വഴികളെ തെറ്റിച്ചു എന്നെ കടിച്ചുകീറി ശൂന്യമാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു.
12He hath bent his bow, and set me as a mark for the arrow.
12അവന് വില്ലു കുലെച്ചു എന്നെ അമ്പിന്നു ലാക്കാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു.
13He hath caused the arrows of his quiver to enter into my reins.
13അവന് തന്റെ പൂണിയിലെ അമ്പുകളെ എന്റെ അന്തരംഗങ്ങളില് തറെപ്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.
14I was a derision to all my people; and their song all the day.
14ഞാന് എന്റെ സര്വ്വജനത്തിന്നും പരിഹാസവും ഇടവിടാതെ അവരുടെ പാട്ടും ആയിത്തീര്ന്നിരിക്കുന്നു.
15He hath filled me with bitterness, he hath made me drunken with wormwood.
15അവന് എന്നെ കൈപ്പുകൊണ്ടു നിറെച്ചു, കാഞ്ഞിരംകൊണ്ടു മത്തുപിടിപ്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു;
16He hath also broken my teeth with gravel stones, he hath covered me with ashes.
16അവന് കല്ലുകൊണ്ടു എന്റെ പല്ലു തകര്ത്തു, എന്നെ വെണ്ണീരില് ഇട്ടുരുട്ടിയിരിക്കുന്നു.
17And thou hast removed my soul far off from peace: I forgat prosperity.
17നീ എന്റെ പ്രാണനെ സമാധാനത്തില്നിന്നു നീക്കി; ഞാന് സുഖം മറന്നിരിക്കുന്നു.
18And I said, My strength and my hope is perished from the LORD:
18എന്റെ മഹത്വവും യഹോവയിങ്കലുള്ള എന്റെ പ്രത്യാശയും പൊയ്പോയല്ലോ എന്നു ഞാന് പറഞ്ഞു.
19Remembering mine affliction and my misery, the wormwood and the gall.
19നീ എന്റെ കഷ്ടതയും അരിഷ്ടതയും കാഞ്ഞിരവും കൈപ്പും ഔര്ക്കേണമേ.
20My soul hath them still in remembrance, and is humbled in me.
20എന്റെ പ്രാണന് എന്റെ ഉള്ളില് എപ്പോഴും അവയെ ഔര്ത്തു ഉരുകിയിരിക്കുന്നു.
21This I recall to my mind, therefore have I hope.
21ഇതു ഞാന് ഔര്ക്കും; അതുകൊണ്ടു ഞാന് പ്രത്യാശിക്കും.
22It is of the LORD's mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not.
22നാം മുടിഞ്ഞുപോകാതിരിക്കുന്നതു യഹോവയുടെ ദയ ആകുന്നു; അവന്റെ കരുണ തീര്ന്നു പോയിട്ടില്ലല്ലോ;
23They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.
23അതു രാവിലെതോറും പുതിയതും നിന്റെ വിശ്വസ്ഥത വലിയതും ആകുന്നു.
24The LORD is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will I hope in him.
24യഹോവ എന്റെ ഔഹരി എന്നു എന്റെ ഉള്ളം പറയുന്നു; അതുകൊണ്ടു ഞാന് അവനില് പ്രത്യാശവെക്കുന്നു.
25The LORD is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeketh him.
25തന്നെ കാത്തിരിക്കുന്നവര്ക്കും തന്നെ അന്വേഷിക്കുന്നവന്നും യഹോവ നല്ലവന് .
26It is good that a man should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the LORD.
26യഹോവയുടെ രക്ഷെക്കായി മിണ്ടാതെ കാത്തിരിക്കുന്നതു നല്ലതു.
27It is good for a man that he bear the yoke of his youth.
27ബാല്യത്തില് നുകം ചുമക്കുന്നതു ഒരു പുരുഷന്നു നല്ലതു.
28He sitteth alone and keepeth silence, because he hath borne it upon him.
28അവന് അതു അവന്റെ മേല് വെച്ചിരിക്ക കൊണ്ടു അവന് തനിച്ചു മൌനം ആയിരിക്കട്ടെ.
29He putteth his mouth in the dust; if so be there may be hope.
29അവന് തന്റെ മുഖത്തെ പൊടിയോളം താഴ്ത്തട്ടെ; പക്ഷെ പ്രത്യാശ ശേഷിക്കും.
30He giveth his cheek to him that smiteth him: he is filled full with reproach.
30തന്നെ അടിക്കുന്നവന്നു അവന് കവിള് കാണിക്കട്ടെ; അവന് വേണ്ടുവോളം നിന്ദ അനുഭവിക്കട്ടെ.
31For the LORD will not cast off for ever:
31കര്ത്താവു എന്നേക്കും തള്ളിക്കളകയില്ലല്ലോ.
32But though he cause grief, yet will he have compassion according to the multitude of his mercies.
32അവന് ദുഃഖിപ്പിച്ചാലും തന്റെ മഹാദയെക്കു ഒത്തവണ്ണം അവന്നു കരുണതോന്നും.
33For he doth not afflict willingly nor grieve the children of men.
33മനസ്സോടെയല്ലല്ലോ അവന് മനുഷ്യപുത്രന്മാരെ ദുഃഖിപ്പിച്ചു വ്യസനിപ്പിക്കുന്നതു.
34To crush under his feet all the prisoners of the earth.
34ഭൂമിയിലെ സകലബദ്ധന്മാരെയും കാല്കീഴിട്ടു മെതിക്കുന്നതും.
35To turn aside the right of a man before the face of the most High,
35അത്യുന്നതന്റെ സന്നിധിയില് മനുഷ്യന്റെ ന്യായം മറിച്ചുകളയുന്നതും.
36To subvert a man in his cause, the LORD approveth not.
36മനുഷ്യനെ വ്യവഹാരത്തില് തെറ്റിച്ചുകളയുന്നതും കര്ത്താവു കാണുകയില്ലയോ?
37Who is he that saith, and it cometh to pass, when the Lord commandeth it not?
37കര്ത്താവു കല്പിക്കാതെ ആര് പറഞ്ഞിട്ടാകുന്നു വല്ലതും സംഭവിക്കുന്നതു?
38Out of the mouth of the most High proceedeth not evil and good?
38അത്യുന്നതന്റെ വായില്നിന്നു നന്മയും തിന്മയും പുറപ്പെടുന്നില്ലയോ?
39Wherefore doth a living man complain, a man for the punishment of his sins?
39മനുഷ്യന് ജീവനുള്ളന്നു നെടുവീര്പ്പിടുന്നതെന്തു? ഔരോരുത്തന് താന്താന്റെ പാപങ്ങളെക്കുറിച്ചു നെടുവീര്പ്പിടട്ടെ.
40Let us search and try our ways, and turn again to the LORD.
40നാം നമ്മുടെ നടുപ്പു ആരാഞ്ഞു ശോധനചെയ്തു യഹോവയുടെ അടുക്കലേക്കു തിരിയുക.
41Let us lift up our heart with our hands unto God in the heavens.
41നാം കൈകളെയും ഹൃദയത്തെയും സ്വര്ഗ്ഗസ്ഥനായ ദൈവത്തിങ്കലേക്കു ഉയര്ത്തുക.
42We have transgressed and have rebelled: thou hast not pardoned.
42ഞങ്ങള് അതിക്രമം ചെയ്തു മത്സരിച്ചു; നീ ക്ഷമിച്ചതുമില്ല.
43Thou hast covered with anger, and persecuted us: thou hast slain, thou hast not pitied.
43നീ കോപം പുതെച്ചു ഞങ്ങളെ പിന്തുടര്ന്നു, കരുണകൂടാതെ കൊന്നുകളഞ്ഞു.
44Thou hast covered thyself with a cloud, that our prayer should not pass through.
44ഞങ്ങളുടെ പ്രാര്ത്ഥന കടക്കാതവണ്ണം നീ മേഘംകൊണ്ടു നിന്നെത്തന്നേ മറെച്ചു.
45Thou hast made us as the offscouring and refuse in the midst of the people.
45നീ ഞങ്ങളെ ജാതികളുടെ ഇടയില് ചവറും എച്ചിലും ആക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു.
46All our enemies have opened their mouths against us.
46ഞങ്ങളുടെ ശത്രുക്കളൊക്കെയും ഞങ്ങളുടെ നേരെ വായ്പിളര്ന്നിരിക്കുന്നു.
47Fear and a snare is come upon us, desolation and destruction.
47പേടിയും കണിയും ശൂന്യവും നാശവും ഞങ്ങള്ക്കു ഭവിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.
48Mine eye runneth down with rivers of water for the destruction of the daughter of my people.
48എന്റെ ജനത്തിന് പുത്രിയുടെ നാശംനിമിത്തം നീര്ത്തോടുകള് എന്റെ കണ്ണില്നിന്നൊഴുകുന്നു.
49Mine eye trickleth down, and ceaseth not, without any intermission.
49യഹോവ സ്വര്ഗ്ഗത്തില്നിന്നു നോക്കി കടാക്ഷിക്കുവോളം
50Till the LORD look down, and behold from heaven.
50എന്റെ കണ്ണു ഇടവിടാതെ പൊഴിക്കുന്നു; ഇളെക്കുന്നതുമില്ല.
51Mine eye affecteth mine heart because of all the daughters of my city.
51എന്റെ നഗരത്തിലെ സകലസ്ത്രീജനത്തെയും കുറിച്ചു എന്റെ കണ്ണു എന്റെ പ്രാണനെ വ്യസനിപ്പിക്കുന്നു.
52Mine enemies chased me sore, like a bird, without cause.
52കാരണംകൂടാതെ എന്റെ ശത്രുക്കളായവര് എന്നെ ഒരു പക്ഷിയെപ്പോലെ വേട്ടയാടിയിരിക്കുന്നു;
53They have cut off my life in the dungeon, and cast a stone upon me.
53അവര് എന്റെ ജീവനെ കുണ്ടറയില് ഇട്ടു നശിപ്പിച്ചു, എന്റെ മേല് കല്ലു എറിഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു.
54Waters flowed over mine head; then I said, I am cut off.
54വെള്ളം എന്റെ തലെക്കുമീതെ കവിഞ്ഞൊഴുകി; ഞാന് നശിച്ചുപോയി എന്നു ഞാന് പറഞ്ഞു.
55I called upon thy name, O LORD, out of the low dungeon.
55യഹോവേ, ഞാന് ആഴമുള്ള കുണ്ടറയില്നിന്നു നിന്റെ നാമത്തെ വിളിച്ചപേക്ഷിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.
56Thou hast heard my voice: hide not thine ear at my breathing, at my cry.
56എന്റെ നെടുവീര്പ്പിന്നും എന്റെ നിലവിളിക്കും ചെവി പൊത്തിക്കളയരുതേ എന്നുള്ള എന്റെ പ്രാര്ത്ഥന നീ കേട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു.
57Thou drewest near in the day that I called upon thee: thou saidst, Fear not.
57ഞാന് നിന്നെ വിളിച്ചപേക്ഷിച്ച നാളില് നീ അടുത്തുവന്നുഭയപ്പെടേണ്ടാ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
58O LORD, thou hast pleaded the causes of my soul; thou hast redeemed my life.
58കര്ത്താവേ, നീ എന്റെ വ്യവഹാരം നടത്തി, എന്റെ ജീവനെ വീണ്ടെടുത്തിരിക്കുന്നു.
59O LORD, thou hast seen my wrong: judge thou my cause.
59യഹോവേ, ഞാന് അനുഭവിച്ച അന്യായം നീ കണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നു; എന്റെ വ്യവഹാരം തീര്ത്തുതരേണമേ.
60Thou hast seen all their vengeance and all their imaginations against me.
60അവര് ചെയ്ത സകലപ്രതികാരവും എനിക്കു വിരോധമായുള്ള അവരുടെ സകലനിരൂപണങ്ങളും നീ കണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നു.
61Thou hast heard their reproach, O LORD, and all their imaginations against me;
61യഹോവേ, അവരുടെ നിന്ദയും എനിക്കു വിരോധമായുള്ള അവരുടെ സകലനിരൂപണങ്ങളും
62The lips of those that rose up against me, and their device against me all the day.
62എന്റെ എതിരികളുടെ വാക്കുകളും ഇടവിടാതെ എനിക്കു വിരോധമായുള്ള നിനവും നീ കേട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു.
63Behold their sitting down, and their rising up; I am their musick.
63അവരുടെ ഇരിപ്പും എഴുന്നേല്പും നോക്കേണമേ; ഞാന് അവരുടെ പാട്ടായിരിക്കുന്നു.
64Render unto them a recompence, O LORD, according to the work of their hands.
64യഹോവേ, അവരുടെ പ്രവൃത്തിക്കു തക്കവണ്ണം അവര്ക്കും പകരം ചെയ്യേണമേ;
65Give them sorrow of heart, thy curse unto them.
65നീ അവര്ക്കും ഹൃദയകാഠിന്യം വരുത്തും; നിന്റെ ശാപം അവര്ക്കും വരട്ടെ.
66Persecute and destroy them in anger from under the heavens of the LORD.
66നീ അവരെ കോപത്തോടെ പിന്തുടര്ന്നു, യഹോവയുടെ ആകാശത്തിന് കീഴില്നിന്നു നശിപ്പിച്ചുകളയും.
