1The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.
1യഹോവ എന്റെ ഇടയനാകുന്നു; എനിക്കു മുട്ടുണ്ടാകയില്ല.
2He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.
2പച്ചയായ പുല്പുറങ്ങളില്‍ അവന്‍ എന്നെ കിടത്തുന്നു; സ്വസ്ഥതയുള്ള വെള്ളത്തിന്നരികത്തേക്കു എന്നെ നടത്തുന്നു.
3He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
3എന്റെ പ്രാണനെ അവന്‍ തണുപ്പിക്കുന്നു; തിരുനാമംനിമിത്തം എന്നെ നീതിപാതകളില്‍ നടത്തുന്നു.
4Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
4കൂരിരുള്‍താഴ്വരയില്‍ കൂടി നടന്നാലും ഞാന്‍ ഒരു അനര്‍ത്ഥവും ഭയപ്പെടുകയില്ല; നീ എന്നോടുകൂടെ ഇരിക്കുന്നുവല്ലോ; നിന്റെ വടിയും കോലും എന്നെ ആശ്വസിപ്പിക്കുന്നു.
5Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
5എന്റെ ശത്രുക്കള്‍ കാണ്‍കെ നീ എനിക്കു വിരുന്നൊരുക്കുന്നു; എന്റെ തലയെ എണ്ണകൊണ്ടു അഭിഷേകംചെയ്യുന്നു; എന്റെ പാനപാത്രവും നിറഞ്ഞു കവിയുന്നു.
6Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.
6നന്മയും കരുണയും എന്റെ ആയുഷ്കാലമൊക്കെയും എന്നെ പിന്തുടരും; ഞാന്‍ യഹോവയുടെ ആലയത്തില്‍ ദീര്‍ഘകാലം വസിക്കും.
