1Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered.
1ലംഘനം ക്ഷമിച്ചും പാപം മറെച്ചും കിട്ടിയവന്‍ ഭാഗ്യവാന്‍ .
2Blessed is the man unto whom the LORD imputeth not iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no guile.
2യഹോവ അകൃത്യം കണക്കിടാതെയും ആത്മാവില്‍ കപടം ഇല്ലാതെയും ഇരിക്കുന്ന മനുഷ്യന്‍ ഭാഗ്യവാന്‍ .
3When I kept silence, my bones waxed old through my roaring all the day long.
3ഞാന്‍ മിണ്ടാതെയിരുന്നപ്പോള്‍ നിത്യമായ ഞരക്കത്താല്‍ എന്റെ അസ്ഥികള്‍ ക്ഷയിച്ചുപോയി;
4For day and night thy hand was heavy upon me: my moisture is turned into the drought of summer. Selah.
4രാവും പകലും നിന്റെ കൈ എന്റെമേല്‍ ഭാരമായിരുന്നു; എന്റെ മജ്ജ വേനല്‍ക്കാലത്തിലെ ഉഷ്ണത്താല്‍ എന്നപോലെ വറ്റിപ്പോയി. സേലാ.
5I acknowledge my sin unto thee, and mine iniquity have I not hid. I said, I will confess my transgressions unto the LORD; and thou forgavest the iniquity of my sin. Selah.
5ഞാന്‍ എന്റെ പാപം നിന്നോടറിയിച്ചു; എന്റെ അകൃത്യം മറെച്ചതുമില്ല എന്റെ ലംഘനങ്ങളെ യഹോവയോടു ഏറ്റു പറയും എന്നു ഞാന്‍ പറഞ്ഞു; അപ്പോള്‍ നീ എന്റെ പാപത്തിന്റെ കുറ്റം ക്ഷമിച്ചുതന്നു. സേലാ.
6For this shall every one that is godly pray unto thee in a time when thou mayest be found: surely in the floods of great waters they shall not come nigh unto him.
6ഇതുനിമിത്തം ഔരോ ഭക്തനും കണ്ടെത്താകുന്ന കാലത്തു നിന്നോടു പ്രാര്‍ത്ഥിക്കും; പെരുവെള്ളം കവിഞ്ഞുവരുമ്പോള്‍ അതു അവന്റെ അടുക്കലോളം എത്തുകയില്ല.
7Thou art my hiding place; thou shalt preserve me from trouble; thou shalt compass me about with songs of deliverance. Selah.
7നീ എനിക്കു മറവിടമാകുന്നു; നീ എന്നെ കഷ്ടത്തില്‍നിന്നു സൂക്ഷിക്കും; രക്ഷയുടെ ഉല്ലാസഘോഷം കൊണ്ടു നീ എന്നെ ചുറ്റിക്കൊള്ളും. സേലാ.
8I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.
8ഞാന്‍ നിന്നെ ഉപദേശിച്ചു, നടക്കേണ്ടുന്ന വഴി നിനക്കു കാണിച്ചുതരും; ഞാന്‍ നിന്റെമേല്‍ ദൃഷ്ടിവെച്ചു നിനക്കു ആലോചന പറഞ്ഞുതരും.
9Be ye not as the horse, or as the mule, which have no understanding: whose mouth must be held in with bit and bridle, lest they come near unto thee.
9നിങ്ങള്‍ ബുദ്ധിയില്ലാത്ത കുതിരയെയും കോവര്‍കഴുതയെയുംപോലെ ആകരുതു; അവയുടെ ചമയങ്ങളായ കടിഞ്ഞാണും മുഖപ്പട്ടയും കൊണ്ടു അവയെ അടക്കിവരുന്നു; അല്ലെങ്കില്‍ അവ നിനക്കു സ്വാധീനമാകയില്ല.
10Many sorrows shall be to the wicked: but he that trusteth in the LORD, mercy shall compass him about.
10ദുഷ്ടന്നു വളരെ വേദനകള്‍ ഉണ്ടു; യഹോവയില്‍ ആശ്രയിക്കുന്നവനെയോ ദയ ചുറ്റിക്കൊള്ളും.
11Be glad in the LORD, and rejoice, ye righteous: and shout for joy, all ye that are upright in heart.
11നീതിമാന്മാരേ, യഹോവയില്‍ സന്തോഷിച്ചാനന്ദിപ്പിന്‍ ; ഹൃദയപരമാര്‍ത്ഥികള്‍ എല്ലാവരുമായുള്ളോരേ, ഘോഷിച്ചുല്ലസിപ്പിന്‍ .
