1Judge me, O God, and plead my cause against an ungodly nation: O deliver me from the deceitful and unjust man.
1ദൈവമേ, എനിക്കു ന്യായം പാലിച്ചു തരേണമേ; ഭക്തികെട്ട ജാതിയോടു എന്റെ വ്യവഹാരം നടത്തേണമേ; വഞ്ചനയും അനീതിയുമുള്ള മനുഷ്യങ്കല്‍നിന്നു എന്നെ വിടുവിക്കേണമേ.
2For thou art the God of my strength: why dost thou cast me off? why go I mourning because of the oppression of the enemy?
2നീ എന്റെ ശരണമായ ദൈവമല്ലോ; നീ എന്നെ തള്ളിക്കളഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നതെന്തു? ശത്രുവിന്റെ ഉപദ്രവംഹേതുവായി ഞാന്‍ ദുഃഖിച്ചു നടക്കേണ്ടിവന്നതുമെന്തു?
3O send out thy light and thy truth: let them lead me; let them bring me unto thy holy hill, and to thy tabernacles.
3നിന്റെ പ്രകാശവും സത്യവും അയച്ചുതരേണമേ; അവ എന്നെ നടത്തുമാറാകട്ടെ; നിന്റെ വിശുദ്ധപര്‍വ്വതത്തിലേക്കും തിരുനിവാസത്തിലേക്കും അവ എന്നെ എത്തിക്കുമാറാകട്ടെ.
4Then will I go unto the altar of God, unto God my exceeding joy: yea, upon the harp will I praise thee, O God my God.
4ഞാന്‍ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ പീഠത്തിങ്കലേക്കു, എന്റെ പരമാനന്ദമായ ദൈവത്തിങ്കലേക്കു ചെല്ലും; ദൈവമേ, എന്റെ ദൈവമേ, കിന്നരംകെണ്ടു ഞാന്‍ നിന്നെ സ്തുതിക്കും.
5Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted within me? hope in God: for I shall yet praise him, who is the health of my countenance, and my God.
5എന്റെ ആത്മാവേ, നീ വിഷാദിച്ചു ഉള്ളില്‍ ഞരങ്ങുന്നതു എന്തു? ദൈവത്തില്‍ പ്രത്യാശ വെക്കുക; അവന്‍ എന്റെ മുഖപ്രകാശകരക്ഷയും എന്റെ ദൈവവുമാകുന്നു എന്നിങ്ങനെ ഞാന്‍ ഇനിയും അവനെ സ്തുതിക്കും.
