1God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
1ദൈവം നമ്മുടെ സങ്കേതവും ബലവും ആകുന്നു; കഷ്ടങ്ങളില്‍ അവന്‍ ഏറ്റവും അടുത്ത തുണയായിരിക്കുന്നു.
2Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea;
2അതുകൊണ്ടു ഭൂമി മാറിപ്പോയാലും പര്‍വ്വതങ്ങള്‍ കുലുങ്ങി സമുദ്രമദ്ധ്യേ വീണാലും,
3Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah.
3അതിലെ വെള്ളം ഇരെച്ചു കലങ്ങിയാലും അതിന്റെ കോപംകൊണ്ടു പര്‍വ്വതങ്ങള്‍ കുലുങ്ങിയാലും നാം ഭയപ്പെടുകയില്ല.
4There is a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacles of the most High.
4ഒരു നദി ഉണ്ടു; അതിന്റെ തോടുകള്‍ ദൈവനഗരത്തെ, അത്യുന്നതന്റെ വിശുദ്ധനിവാസത്തെ തന്നേ, സന്തോഷിപ്പിക്കുന്നു.
5God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God shall help her, and that right early.
5ദൈവം അതിന്റെ മദ്ധ്യേ ഉണ്ടു; അതു കുലുങ്ങിപ്പോകയില്ല; ദൈവം അതികാലത്തു തന്നേ അതിനെ സഹായിക്കും.
6The heathen raged, the kingdoms were moved: he uttered his voice, the earth melted.
6ജാതികള്‍ ക്രുദ്ധിച്ചു; രാജ്യങ്ങള്‍ കുലുങ്ങി; അവന്‍ തന്റെ ശബ്ദം കേള്‍പ്പിച്ചു; ഭൂമി ഉരുകിപ്പോയി.
7The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah.
7സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവ നമ്മോടുകൂടെ ഉണ്ടു; യാക്കോബിന്റെ ദൈവം നമ്മുടെ ദുര്‍ഗ്ഗം ആകുന്നു. സേലാ.
8Come, behold the works of the LORD, what desolations he hath made in the earth.
8വരുവിന്‍ യഹോവയുടെ പ്രവൃത്തികളെ നോക്കുവിന്‍ ; അവന്‍ ഭൂമിയില്‍ എത്ര ശൂന്യത വരുത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നു!
9He maketh wars to cease unto the end of the earth; he breaketh the bow, and cutteth the spear in sunder; he burneth the chariot in the fire.
9അവന്‍ ഭൂമിയുടെ അറ്റംവരെയും യുദ്ധങ്ങളെ നിര്‍ത്തല്‍ചെയ്യുന്നു; അവന്‍ വില്ലൊടിച്ചു കുന്തം മുറിച്ചു രഥങ്ങളെ തീയില്‍ ഇട്ടു ചുട്ടുകളയുന്നു.
10Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.
10മിണ്ടാതിരുന്നു, ഞാന്‍ ദൈവമെന്നു അറിഞ്ഞു കൊള്‍വിന്‍ ; ഞാന്‍ ജാതികളുടെ ഇടയില്‍ ഉന്നതന്‍ ആകും; ഞാന്‍ ഭൂമിയില്‍ ഉന്നതന്‍ ആകും.
