¹Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised in the city of our God, in the mountain of his holiness.

²Beautiful for situation, the joy of the whole earth, is mount Zion, on the sides of the north, the city of the great King.

³God is known in her palaces for a refuge.

³അതിന്റെ അരമനകളില്‍ ദൈവം ഒരു ദുര്‍ഗ്ഗമായി വെളിപ്പെട്ടുവന്നിരിക്കുന്നു.

⁴For, lo, the kings were assembled, they passed by together.

⁴ഇതാ, രാജാക്കന്മാര്‍ കൂട്ടം കൂടി; അവര്‍ ഒന്നിച്ചു കടന്നുപോയി.

⁵They saw it, and so they marvelled; they were troubled, and hasted away.

⁵അവര്‍ അതു കണ്ടു അമ്പരന്നു, അവര്‍ പരിഭ്രമിച്ചു ഔടിപ്പോയി.

⁶Fear took hold upon them there, and pain, as of a woman in travail.

⁷Thou breakest the ships of Tarshish with an east wind.

⁸As we have heard, so have we seen in the city of the LORD of hosts, in the city of our God: God will establish it for ever. Selah.

⁹We have thought of thy lovingkindness, O God, in the midst of thy temple.

⁹ദൈവമേ, നിന്റെ മന്ദിരത്തിന്റെ മദ്ധ്യേ ഞങ്ങള്‍ നിന്റെ ദയയെക്കുറിച്ചു ചിന്തിക്കുന്നു.

¹⁰According to thy name, O God, so is thy praise unto the ends of the earth: thy right hand is full of righteousness.

¹⁰ദൈവമേ, നിന്റെ നാമംപോലെ തന്നേ നിന്റെ സ്തുതിയും ഭൂമിയുടെ അറ്റങ്ങളോളം എത്തുന്നു; നിന്റെ വലങ്കയ്യില്‍ നീതി നിറഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു.

¹¹Let mount Zion rejoice, let the daughters of Judah be glad, because of thy judgments.

¹¹നിന്റെ ന്യായവിധികള്‍നിമിത്തം സീയോന്‍ പര്‍വ്വതം സന്തോഷിക്കയും യെഹൂദാപുത്രിമാര്‍ ആനന്ദിക്കയും ചെയ്യുന്നു.

¹²Walk about Zion, and go round about her: tell the towers thereof.

¹²സീയോനെ ചുറ്റിനടന്നു പ്രദക്ഷിണം ചെയ്‍വിന്‍ ; അതിന്റെ ഗോപുരങ്ങളെ എണ്ണുവിന്‍ .

¹³Mark ye well her bulwarks, consider her palaces; that ye may tell it to the generation following.

¹³വരുവാനുള്ള തലമുറയോടു അറിയിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു അതിന്റെ കൊത്തളങ്ങളെ സൂക്ഷിച്ചു അരമനകളെ നടന്നു നോക്കുവിന്‍ .

¹⁴For this God is our God for ever and ever: he will be our guide even unto death.

¹⁴ഈ ദൈവം എന്നും എന്നേക്കും നമ്മുടെ ദൈവമാകുന്നു; അവന്‍ നമ്മെ ജീവപര്യന്തം വഴിനടത്തും.
