1And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.
1ഞാന് പുതിയ ആകാശവും പുതിയ ഭൂമിയും കണ്ടു; ഒന്നാമത്തെ ആകാശവും ഒന്നാമത്തെ ഭൂമിയും ഒഴിഞ്ഞുപോയി; സമുദ്രവും ഇനി ഇല്ല.
2And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
2പുതിയ യെരൂശലേം എന്ന വിശുദ്ധനഗരം ഭര്ത്താവിന്നായി അലങ്കരിച്ചിട്ടുള്ള മണവാട്ടിയെപ്പോലെ ഒരുങ്ങി സ്വര്ഗ്ഗത്തില്നിന്നു, ദൈവസന്നിധിയില്നിന്നു തന്നേ, ഇറങ്ങുന്നതും ഞാന് കണ്ടു.
3And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.
3സിംഹാസനത്തില്നിന്നു ഒരു മഹാശബ്ദം പറയുന്നതായി ഞാന് കേട്ടതുഇതാ, മനുഷ്യരോടു കൂടെ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ കൂടാരം; അവന് അവരോടുകൂടെ വസിക്കും; അവര് അവന്റെ ജനമായിരിക്കും; ദൈവം താന് അവരുടെ ദൈവമായി അവരോടുകൂടെ ഇരിക്കും.
4And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
4അവന് അവരുടെ കണ്ണില് നിന്നു കണ്ണുനീര് എല്ലാം തുടെച്ചുകളയും.
5And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.
5ഇനി മരണം ഉണ്ടാകയില്ല; ദുഃഖവും മുറവിളിയും കഷ്ടതയും ഇനി ഉണ്ടാകയില്ല; ഒന്നാമത്തേതു കഴിഞ്ഞുപോയി; സിംഹാസനത്തില് ഇരിക്കുന്നവന് ഇതാ, ഞാന് സകലവും പുതുതാക്കുന്നു എന്നു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു. എഴുതുക, ഈ വചനം വിശ്വാസയോഗ്യവും സത്യവും ആകുന്നു എന്നും അവന് കല്പിച്ചു.
6And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.
6പിന്നെയും അവന് എന്നോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതുസംഭവിച്ചുതീര്ന്നു; ഞാന് അല്ഫയും ഔമേഗയും ആദിയും അന്തവും ആകുന്നു; ദാഹിക്കുന്നവന്നു ഞാന് ജിവനീരുറവില് നിന്നു സൌജന്യമായി കൊടുക്കും.
7He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.
7ജയിക്കുന്നവന്നു ഇതു അവകാശമായി ലഭിക്കും; ഞാന് അവന്നു ദൈവവും അവന് എനിക്കു മകനുമായിരിക്കും.
8But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.
8എന്നാല് ഭീരുക്കള്, അവിശ്വാസികള് അറെക്കപ്പെട്ടവര് കുലപാതകന്മാര്, ദുര്ന്നടപ്പുകാര്, ക്ഷുദ്രക്കാര്, ബിംബാരാധികള് എന്നിവര്ക്കും ഭോഷകുപറയുന്ന ഏവര്ക്കും ഉള്ള ഔഹരി തീയും ഗന്ധകവും കത്തുന്ന പൊയ്കയിലത്രേഅതു രണ്ടാമത്തെ മരണം.
9And there came unto me one of the seven angels which had the seven vials full of the seven last plagues, and talked with me, saying, Come hither, I will shew thee the bride, the Lamb's wife.
9അന്ത്യബാധ ഏഴും നിറഞ്ഞ ഏഴു കലശം ഉണ്ടായിരുന്ന ഏഴു ദൂതന്മാരില് ഒരുത്തന് വന്നു എന്നോടുവരിക, കുഞ്ഞാടിന്റെ കാന്തയായ മണവാട്ടിയെ കാണിച്ചുതരാം എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
10And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and shewed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God,
10അവന് എന്നെ ആത്മവിവശതയില് ഉയര്ന്നോരു വന്മലയില് കൊണ്ടുപോയി, യെരൂശലേമെന്ന വിശുദ്ധനഗരം സ്വര്ഗ്ഗത്തില്നിന്നു, ദൈവസന്നിധിയില്നിന്നു തന്നേ, ദൈവതേജസ്സുള്ളതായി ഇറങ്ങുന്നതു കാണിച്ചുതന്നു.
11Having the glory of God: and her light was like unto a stone most precious, even like a jasper stone, clear as crystal;
11അതിന്റെ ജ്യോതിസ്സു ഏറ്റവും വിലയേറിയ രത്നത്തിന്നു തുല്യമായി സ്ഫടികസ്വച്ഛതയുള്ള സൂര്യകാന്തം പോലെ ആയിരുന്നു.
12And had a wall great and high, and had twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and names written thereon, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel:
12അതിന്നു പൊക്കമുള്ള വന്മതിലും പന്ത്രണ്ടു ഗോപുരവും ഗോപുരങ്ങളില് പന്ത്രണ്ടു ദൂതന്മാരും ഉണ്ടു; യിസ്രായേല്മക്കളുടെ പന്ത്രണ്ടു ഗോത്രങ്ങളുടെയും പേര് കൊത്തീട്ടും ഉണ്ടു.
13On the east three gates; on the north three gates; on the south three gates; and on the west three gates.
13കിഴക്കു മൂന്നു ഗോപുരം, വടക്കുമൂന്നു ഗോപുരം, തെക്കു മൂന്നു ഗോപുരം, പടിഞ്ഞാറു മൂന്നു ഗോപുരം.
14And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and in them the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.
14നഗരത്തിന്റെ മതിലിന്നു പന്ത്രണ്ടു അടിസ്ഥാനവും അതില് കുഞ്ഞാടിന്റെ പന്ത്രണ്ടു അപ്പൊസ്തലന്മാരുടെ പന്ത്രണ്ടു പേരും ഉണ്ടു.
15And he that talked with me had a golden reed to measure the city, and the gates thereof, and the wall thereof.
15എന്നോടു സംസാരിച്ചവന്നു നഗരത്തെയും അതിന്റെ ഗോപുരങ്ങളെയും മതിലിനെയും അളക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു പൊന്നുകൊണ്ടുള്ള ഒരു അളവുകോല് ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.
16And the city lieth foursquare, and the length is as large as the breadth: and he measured the city with the reed, twelve thousand furlongs. The length and the breadth and the height of it are equal.
16നഗരം സമചതുരമായി കിടക്കുന്നു; അതിന്റെ വീതിയും നീളവും സമം. അളവുകോല്കൊണ്ടു അവന് നഗരത്തെ അളന്നു, ആയിരത്തിരുനൂറു നാഴിക കണ്ടു; അതിന്റെ നീളവും വീതിയും ഉയരവും സമം തന്നേ.
17And he measured the wall thereof, an hundred and forty and four cubits, according to the measure of a man, that is, of the angel.
17അതിന്റെ മതില് അളന്നു; മനുഷ്യന്റെ അളവിന്നു എന്നുവെച്ചാല് ദൂതന്റെ അളവിന്നു തന്നേ, നൂറ്റിനാല്പത്തിനാലു മുഴം ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.
18And the building of the wall of it was of jasper: and the city was pure gold, like unto clear glass.
18മതിലിന്റെ പണി സൂര്യകാന്തവും നഗരം സ്വച്ഛസ്ഫടികത്തിന്നൊത്ത തങ്കവും ആയിരുന്നു.
19And the foundations of the wall of the city were garnished with all manner of precious stones. The first foundation was jasper; the second, sapphire; the third, a chalcedony; the fourth, an emerald;
19നഗരമതിലിന്റെ അടിസ്ഥാനങ്ങള് സകല രത്നവുംകൊണ്ടു അലങ്കരിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; ഒന്നാം അടിസ്ഥാനം സൂര്യകാന്തം രണ്ടാമത്തേതു നീലരത്നം, മൂന്നാമത്തേതു മാണിക്യം, നാലാമത്തേതു മരതകം,
20The fifth, sardonyx; the sixth, sardius; the seventh, chrysolyte; the eighth, beryl; the ninth, a topaz; the tenth, a chrysoprasus; the eleventh, a jacinth; the twelfth, an amethyst.
20അഞ്ചാമത്തേതു നഖവര്ണ്ണി, ആറാമത്തേതു ചുവപ്പുകല്ലു, ഏഴാമത്തേതു പീതരത്നം, എട്ടാമത്തേതു ഗോമേദകം, ഒമ്പതാമത്തേതു പുഷ്യരാഗം, പത്താമത്തേതു വൈഡൂര്യം, പതിനൊന്നാമത്തേതു പത്മരാഗം, പന്ത്രണ്ടാമത്തേതു സുഗന്ധീ രത്നം.
21And the twelve gates were twelve pearls: every several gate was of one pearl: and the street of the city was pure gold, as it were transparent glass.
21പന്ത്രണ്ടു ഗോപുരവും പന്ത്രണ്ടു മുത്തു; ഔരോ ഗോപുരം ഔരോ മുത്തുകൊണ്ടുള്ളതും നഗരത്തിന്റെ വീഥി സ്വച്ഛസ്ഫടികത്തിന്നു തുല്യമായ തങ്കവും ആയിരുന്നു.
22And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it.
22മന്ദിരം അതില് കണ്ടില്ല; സര്വ്വശക്തിയുള്ള ദൈവമായ കര്ത്താവും കുഞ്ഞാടും അതിന്റെ മന്ദിരം ആകുന്നു.
23And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof.
23നഗരത്തില് പ്രകാശിപ്പാന് സൂര്യനും ചന്ദ്രനും ആവശ്യമില്ല; ദൈവതേജസ്സു അതിനെ പ്രകാശിപ്പിച്ചു; കുഞ്ഞാടു അതിന്റെ വിളകൂ ആകുന്നു.
24And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it.
24ജാതികള് അതിന്റെ വെളിച്ചത്തില് നടക്കും; ഭൂമിയുടെ രാജാക്കന്മാര് തങ്ങളുടെ മഹത്വം അതിലേക്കു കൊണ്ടുവരും.
25And the gates of it shall not be shut at all by day: for there shall be no night there.
25അതിന്റെ ഗോപുരങ്ങള് പകല്ക്കാലത്തു അടെക്കുകയില്ല; രാത്രി അവിടെ ഇല്ലല്ലോ.
26And they shall bring the glory and honour of the nations into it.
26ജാതികളുടെ മഹത്വവും ബഹുമാനവും അതിലേക്കു കൊണ്ടുവരും.
27And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life.
27കുഞ്ഞാടിന്റെ ജീവ പുസ്തകത്തില്എഴുതിയിരിക്കുന്നവരല്ലാതെ അശുദ്ധമായതു യാതൊന്നും മ്ളേച്ഛതയും ഭോഷകും പ്രവര്ത്തിക്കുന്നവന് ആരും അതില് കടക്കയില്ല.
