¹And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the LORD thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth:

¹“आज, मी दिलेल्या सर्व आज्ञा तुम्ही काळजीपूर्वक पाळल्यात तर तुमचा देव परमेश्वर तुम्हाला पृथ्वीवरील सर्व राष्ट्रांपेक्षा उच्चस्थानी नेईल.

²And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God.

²तुमचा देव परमेश्वर ह्याचे ऐकलेत तर तुम्हांला हे आशीर्वाद मिळतील:

³Blessed shalt thou be in the city, and blessed shalt thou be in the field.

³“तुम्हाला तुमच्या नगरात आणि शेतात परमेश्वराचे आशीर्वाद मिळतील.

⁴Blessed shall be the fruit of thy body, and the fruit of thy ground, and the fruit of thy cattle, the increase of thy kine, and the flocks of thy sheep.

⁴परमेश्वराच्या आशीर्वादाने तुम्हाला भरपूर मुलेबाळे होतील. त्याच्या आशीर्वादाने तुमची भूमी सफल होईल. तुमच्या पाळीव प्राण्यांना परमेश्वराच्या आशीर्वादाने भरपूर पिल्ले होतील व ह्या वासरा-करडांवर परमेश्वराचे आशीर्वाद राहतील.

⁵Blessed shall be thy basket and thy store.

⁵तुमच्या धान्याच्या टोपल्या आणि पिठाच्या पराती परमेश्वराच्या आशीर्वादाने सदोदित भरलेल्या राहतील.

⁶Blessed shalt thou be when thou comest in, and blessed shalt thou be when thou goest out.

⁶तुम्ही आत याल आणि बाहेर जाल तेव्हा तुम्हाला सदासर्वकाळ परमेश्वराचा आशीर्वाद मिळेल.

⁷The LORD shall cause thine enemies that rise up against thee to be smitten before thy face: they shall come out against thee one way, and flee before thee seven ways.

⁷“तुमच्यावर चाल करुन येणाऱ्या शत्रूला पराभूत करण्यास तुम्हाला परमेश्वराचे साहाय्य होईल. एका वाटेने आलेला शत्रू सात वाटांनी सैरावैरा पळत सुटेल.

⁸The LORD shall command the blessing upon thee in thy storehouses, and in all that thou settest thine hand unto; and he shall bless thee in the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.

⁸“परमेश्वराच्या कृपेने तुमची कोठारे भरलेली राहतील. तुम्ही हाती घेतलेल्या कार्यात त्याचे आशीर्वाद मिळतील. तुमचा देव परमेश्वर तुम्हाला जो देश देत आहे त्यात तुमची भरभराट होईल.

⁹The LORD shall establish thee an holy people unto himself, as he hath sworn unto thee, if thou shalt keep the commandments of the LORD thy God, and walk in his ways.

⁹परमेश्वराने सांगितल्याप्रमाणे आचरण ठेवलेत आणि त्याच्या आज्ञा पाळल्यात तर आपल्या वचनाला जागून तो तुम्हाला आपली पवित्र प्रजा करुन घेईल.

¹⁰And all people of the earth shall see that thou art called by the name of the LORD; and they shall be afraid of thee.

¹⁰परमेश्वराच्या नावाने तुम्ही ओळखले जाता हे पाहिल्यावर इतर राष्ट्रातील लोकांना तुमचा धाक वाटेल.

¹¹And the LORD shall make thee plenteous in goods, in the fruit of thy body, and in the fruit of thy cattle, and in the fruit of thy ground, in the land which the LORD sware unto thy fathers to give thee.

¹¹“परमेश्वराने द्यायचे कबूल केलेल्या या देशात तुम्हाला भरपूर संतती होईल. गाईचे खिल्लार वाढेल. पीक चांगले येईल.

¹²The LORD shall open unto thee his good treasure, the heaven to give the rain unto thy land in his season, and to bless all the work of thine hand: and thou shalt lend unto many nations, and thou shalt not borrow.

¹²आपले आशीर्वादाचे भांडार तो तुमच्यासाठी खुले करील. योग्यवेळी तुमच्या भूमीवर पाऊस पडेल. तुमच्या सर्व कामात त्याचे आशीर्वाद मिळतील. तुम्ही इतर राष्ट्रांना कर्ज द्याल पण तुम्हाला कर्ज काढावे लागणार नाही.

¹³And the LORD shall make thee the head, and not the tail; and thou shalt be above only, and thou shalt not be beneath; if that thou hearken unto the commandments of the LORD thy God, which I command thee this day, to observe and to do them:

¹³आज मी सांगितलेल्या तुमचा देव परमेश्वर ह्याच्या आज्ञांप्रमाणे वागलात तर तुम्ही नेते व्हाल, अनुयायी होणार नाही, उच्चस्थानी जाल, तळाला जाणार नाही. तेव्हा काळजीपूर्वक या नियमांचे पालन करा.

¹⁴And thou shalt not go aside from any of the words which I command thee this day, to the right hand, or to the left, to go after other gods to serve them.

¹⁴या शिकवणीपासून परावृत होऊ नका. डावी उजवी कडे वळू नका. इतर दैवतांची उपासना करु नका.

¹⁵But it shall come to pass, if thou wilt not hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe to do all his commandments and his statutes which I command thee this day; that all these curses shall come upon thee, and overtake thee:

¹⁵“पण तुमचा देव परमेश्वर ह्याचे ऐकले नाहीत, त्याच्या ज्या आज्ञा आणि विधी मी आज सांगत आहे त्यांचे पालन केले नाहीत तर पुढील सर्व वाईट गोष्टी तुमच्याबाबतीत घडतील.

¹⁶Cursed shalt thou be in the city, and cursed shalt thou be in the field.

¹⁶“नगरात आणि शेतात तुम्ही शापित व्हाल.

¹⁷Cursed shall be thy basket and thy store.

¹⁷तुमच्या धान्याच्या टोपल्या आणि पिठाच्या पराती शापित होतील आणि त्या रिकाम्या राहतील.

¹⁸Cursed shall be the fruit of thy body, and the fruit of thy land, the increase of thy kine, and the flocks of thy sheep.

¹⁸परमेश्वराच्या शापाने तुम्हाला फार संतती होणार नाही, जमिनीत पीक चांगले येणार नाही, गुराढोरांचे खिल्लार फार वाढणार नाही. वासरे - करडे शापित होतील.

¹⁹Cursed shalt thou be when thou comest in, and cursed shalt thou be when thou goest out.

¹⁹बाहेर जाताना आणि आत येताना परमेश्वर तुम्हाला शाप देईल.

²⁰The LORD shall send upon thee cursing, vexation, and rebuke, in all that thou settest thine hand unto for to do, until thou be destroyed, and until thou perish quickly; because of the wickedness of thy doings, whereby thou hast forsaken me.

²⁰“तुम्ही दुष्कृत्ये करुन परमेश्वरापासून परावृत झालात तर तुमच्यावर संकटे कोसळतील. हाती घेतलेल्या प्रत्येक कामात अडचणी येतील व तुम्ही हताश व्हाल. तुमचा विनाविलंब समूळ नाश होईपर्यंत हे चालेल. परमेश्वराच्या मार्गापासून विचलित होऊन तुम्ही भलतीकडे गेल्यामुळे असे होईल.

²¹The LORD shall make the pestilence cleave unto thee, until he have consumed thee from off the land, whither thou goest to possess it.

²¹जो प्रदेश काबीज करायला तुम्ही जात आहात तेथून तुम्ही पूर्णपणे नष्ट होईपर्यंत परमेश्वर तुम्हाला भयंकर रोगराईने ग्रस्त करील.

²²The LORD shall smite thee with a consumption, and with a fever, and with an inflammation, and with an extreme burning, and with the sword, and with blasting, and with mildew; and they shall pursue thee until thou perish.

²²परमेश्वर तुम्हाला रोग, ताप, सूज यांनी शिक्षा करील. उष्णता भयंकर वाढेल आणि अवर्षण पडेल. पिके होरपळून आणि कीड पडून करपून जातील. तुमचा नाश होईपर्यंत ही संकटे तुमच्या पाठीस लागतील.

²³And thy heaven that is over thy head shall be brass, and the earth that is under thee shall be iron.

²³आकाशात ढग दिसणार नाही. आकाश लखलखीत पितळेसारखे तप्त आणि पायाखालची जमीन लोखंडासारखी घट्ट होईल.

²⁴The LORD shall make the rain of thy land powder and dust: from heaven shall it come down upon thee, until thou be destroyed.

²⁴परमेश्वर पाऊस पाडणार नाही. आकाशातून फक्त धूळ आणि वाळू यांचा वर्षाव होईल. तुमचा नाश होईपर्यंत हे चालेल.

²⁵The LORD shall cause thee to be smitten before thine enemies: thou shalt go out one way against them, and flee seven ways before them: and shalt be removed into all the kingdoms of the earth.

²⁵“शत्रू तुम्हांला पराभूत करतील. शत्रूवर तुम्ही एका दिशेने चढाई कराल आणि सात दिशांनी पळ काढाल. तुमच्यावरील संकटे पाहून पृथ्वीवरील इतर लोक भयभीत होतील.

²⁶And thy carcass shall be meat unto all fowls of the air, and unto the beasts of the earth, and no man shall fray them away.

²⁶तुमच्या प्रेतांवर जंगली श्र्वापदे आणि पक्षी ताव मारतील आणि त्यांना हुसकावून लावायला कोणी असणार नाही.

²⁷The LORD will smite thee with the botch of Egypt, and with the emerods, and with the scab, and with the itch, whereof thou canst not be healed.

²⁷“परमेश्वराने पूर्वी मिसरच्या लोकांना गळवांनी पीडित केले तसेच तो यावेळी तुम्हाला करील. गळवे, वाहणारी खरुज, सतत कंड सुटणारा नायटा अशा गोष्टींनी तो तुम्हांला शासन करील.

²⁸The LORD shall smite thee with madness, and blindness, and astonishment of heart:

²⁸वेड, अंधत्व, भांबावलेपण यांनी तुम्ही ग्रस्त व्हाल.

²⁹And thou shalt grope at noonday, as the blind gropeth in darkness, and thou shalt not prosper in thy ways: and thou shalt be only oppressed and spoiled evermore, and no man shall save thee.

²⁹भर दिवसा आंधळ्यासारखे चाचपडत चालाल. प्रत्येक कामात अपयशाचे धनी व्हाल. लोक तुम्हाला एकसारखे नागवतील, दुखावतील. आणि तुम्हाला कोणी त्राता राहणार नाही.

³⁰Thou shalt betroth a wife, and another man shall lie with her: thou shalt build an house, and thou shalt not dwell therein: thou shalt plant a vineyard, and shalt not gather the grapes thereof.

³⁰“तुमचे जिच्याशी लग्न ठरले आहे, तिचा उपभोग दुसरा कोणी घेईल. तुम्ही घर बांधाल पण त्यात राहणार नाही. द्राक्षमळा लावाल पण त्याचे फळ तुम्हाला मिळणार नाही.

³¹Thine ox shall be slain before thine eyes, and thou shalt not eat thereof: thine ass shall be violently taken away from before thy face, and shall not be restored to thee: thy sheep shall be given unto thine enemies, and thou shalt have none to rescue them.

³¹लोक तुमच्यादेखत तुमच्या गायी कापतील पण त्याचे मांस तुम्हाला खायला मिळणार नाही. तुमची गाढवे लोक पळवून नेतील आणि परत करणार नाही. तुमच्या शेळ्या मेंढ्या शत्रूच्या हाती जातील आणि तुम्हाला कोणी सोडवणारा नाही.

³²Thy sons and thy daughters shall be given unto another people, and thine eyes shall look, and fail with longing for them all the day long; and there shall be no might in thine hand.

³²“तुमच्या मुला-मुलींचे इतर लोक अपहरण करतील. दिवसामागून दिवस तुम्ही त्यांचा शोध घ्याल. वाट पाहता पाहता तुमचे डोळे शिणतील. पण ती सापडणार नाहीत. आणि देव तुमच्या मदतीला येणार नाही.

³³The fruit of thy land, and all thy labors, shall a nation which thou knowest not eat up; and thou shalt be only oppressed and crushed alway:

³³“तुमच्या जमिनीचे उत्पन्न आणि तुमच्या साऱ्या श्रमाचे फळ एखादे अपरिचित राष्ट्र बळकावेल. लोक तुमची उपेक्षा करतील.

³⁴So that thou shalt be mad for the sight of thine eyes which thou shalt see.

³⁴जे दृष्टीस पडेल त्याने तुम्ही चक्रावून जाल.

³⁵The LORD shall smite thee in the knees, and in the legs, with a sore botch that cannot be healed, from the sole of thy foot unto the top of thy head.

³⁵तुमच्या गुडघ्यांवर, पायांवर, पावलांपासून डोक्यापर्यंत सर्व शरीरावर ठसठसणारी बरी न होणारी गळवे उठतील. अशा रीतीने परमेश्वर तुम्हाला शासन करील.

³⁶The LORD shall bring thee, and thy king which thou shalt set over thee, unto a nation which neither thou nor thy fathers have known; and there shalt thou serve other gods, wood and stone.

³⁶“तुम्ही तुमच्या पूर्वजांनी कधी न पाहिलेल्या अशा देशात तुमची व तुमच्या राजाची रवानगी परमेश्वर करील. तुम्ही तेथे काष्ठ पाषाणाच्या अन्य देवतांची पूजाअर्चा कराल.

³⁷And thou shalt become an astonishment, a proverb, and a byword, among all nations whither the LORD shall lead thee.

³⁷तुमच्यावर येणारी संकटे पाहून तेथील लोक विस्मयचकित होतील. त्यांच्या चेष्टेचा आणि निंदेचा तुम्ही विषय व्हाल.

³⁸Thou shalt carry much seed out into the field, and shalt gather but little in; for the locust shall consume it.

³⁸“तुमच्या शेतात भरपूर पीक येईल पण त्यातले तुमच्या पदरात थोडेच पडेल. कारण बरेचसे टोळधाड फस्त करील.

³⁹Thou shalt plant vineyards, and dress them, but shalt neither drink of the wine, nor gather the grapes; for the worms shall eat them.

³⁹तुम्ही द्राक्षमळा लावून त्यात खूप मेहनत कराल. पण द्राक्षं किंवा द्राक्षारस तुम्हाला मिळणार नाही. कारण कीड ते खाऊन टाकील.

⁴⁰Thou shalt have olive trees throughout all thy coasts, but thou shalt not anoint thyself with the oil; for thine olive shall cast his fruit.

⁴⁰तुमच्या जमिनीत जैतून वृक्ष जिकडे तिकडे येतील पण त्यांचे तेल मात्र तुम्हाला मिळणार नाही. कारण फळ जमिनीवर गळून, तेथेच सडून जातील.

⁴¹Thou shalt beget sons and daughters, but thou shalt not enjoy them; for they shall go into captivity.

⁴¹तुम्हाला मुलं-बाळं होतील पण ती तुम्हाला लाभणार नाहीत. त्यांचे अपहरण होईल.

⁴²All thy trees and fruit of thy land shall the locust consume.

⁴²टोळधाडीने तुमच्या झाडांचे, शेतातील उभ्या पिकाचे नुकसान होईल.

⁴³The stranger that is within thee shall get up above thee very high; and thou shalt come down very low.

⁴³तुमच्या गावात राहाणाऱ्या परकीयांची उन्नती होईल आणि तुमची अधोगती होईल.

⁴⁴He shall lend to thee, and thou shalt not lend to him: he shall be the head, and thou shalt be the tail.

⁴⁴ते तुम्हाला कर्ज देतील, तुमच्याजवळ त्यांना उसने द्यायला काही असणार नाही. सर्व शरीरावर मस्तकाचे नियंत्रण असते त्याप्रमाणे ते तुमच्यावर नियंत्रण ठेवतील. तुम्ही जणू तूच्छ बनून राहाल.

⁴⁵Moreover all these curses shall come upon thee, and shall pursue thee, and overtake thee, till thou be destroyed; because thou hearkenedst not unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to keep his commandments and his statutes which he commanded thee:

⁴⁵“तुमचा देव परमेश्वर ह्याने जे सांगितले ते तुम्ही ऐकले नाही, त्याच्या आज्ञा आणि नियम यांचे पालन केले नाही तर हे सर्वशाप तुमचा नायनाट होईपर्यंत तुमचा पिच्छा पुरवतील.

⁴⁶And they shall be upon thee for a sign and for a wonder, and upon thy seed for ever.

⁴⁶तुम्हाला व तुमच्या वंशजांना हे परमेश्वराचे शाप कायमचे भोवतील. ते पाहून इतर लोक आश्चर्यचकित होतील.

⁴⁷Because thou servedst not the LORD thy God with joyfulness, and with gladness of heart, for the abundance of all things;

⁴⁷“सर्व तऱ्हेची समृद्धी असताना तुम्ही आनंदाने व उत्साहित मनाने तुमचा देव परमेश्वर ह्याची सेवा केली नाही म्हणून

⁴⁸Therefore shalt thou serve thine enemies which the LORD shall send against thee, in hunger, and in thirst, and in nakedness, and in want of all things: and he shall put a yoke of iron upon thy neck, until he have destroyed thee.

⁴⁸परमेश्वराने पाठविलेल्या शत्रूसमोर तुम्हाला नतमस्तक व्हावे लागेल. तुम्ही तहान भूकेने गांजलेले दीन, सर्व तऱ्हेने वंचित असे व्हाल. परमेश्वर तुमच्या मानेवर जोखंड ठेवील. ते तुम्हाला बाजूला करता येणार नाही. तुमच्या अंतापर्यंत ते तुम्हांला वागवावे लागेल.

⁴⁹The LORD shall bring a nation against thee from far, from the end of the earth, as swift as the eagle flieth; a nation whose tongue thou shalt not understand;

⁴⁹“दूरच्या राष्ट्रातील शत्रूला परमेश्वर तुमच्यावर पाठवील. त्यांची भाषा तुम्हाला समजणार नाही. गरुडांसारखे ते झेपावत येतील.

⁵⁰A nation of fierce countenance, which shall not regard the person of the old, nor show favor to the young:

⁵⁰ते क्रूर असतील. वृद्धांचा ते मान राखणार नाहीत. लहानांना दया दाखवणार नाहीत.

⁵¹And he shall eat the fruit of thy cattle, and the fruit of thy land, until thou be destroyed: which also shall not leave thee either corn, wine, or oil, or the increase of thy kine, or flocks of thy sheep, until he have destroyed thee.

⁵¹तुमची जनावरे आणि तुम्ही काढलेले पीक ते नेतील. तुम्ही नष्ट होईपर्यंत ते तुमची लूट करतील. धान्य, द्राक्षारस, तेल, गुरेढोरे, शेळ्यामेंढ्या काही म्हणता काही तुम्हाला उरणार नाही.

⁵²And he shall besiege thee in all thy gates, until thy high and fenced walls come down, wherein thou trustedst, throughout all thy land: and he shall besiege thee in all thy gates throughout all thy land, which the LORD thy God hath given thee.

⁵²“ते राष्ट्र तुमच्या नगरांना वेढा घालून हल्ला करील. आपल्या नगराभोवती असणारी उंच आणि भक्कम तटबंदी आपले रक्षण करील असे तुम्हाला वाटेल. पण ती तटबंदी कोसळून पडेल. तुमचा देव परमेश्वर तुम्हांला देणार असलेल्या प्रदेशातील तुमच्या सर्व नगरांना शत्रू वेढा घालेल.

⁵³And thou shalt eat the fruit of thine own body, the flesh of thy sons and of thy daughters, which the LORD thy God hath given thee, in the siege, and in the straitness, wherewith thine enemies shall distress thee:

⁵³“तुम्हाला फार यातना भोगाव्या लागतील. शत्रू वेढा घालून तुमची रसद तोडेल. त्यामुळे तुमची उपासमार होईल. तुम्ही भुकेने व्याकुळ होऊन, तुमचा देव परमेश्वर ह्याने तुमच्या पोटी घातलेल्या मुलाबाळांनाच तुम्ही खाल.

⁵⁴So that the man that is tender among you, and very delicate, his eye shall be evil toward his brother, and toward the wife of his bosom, and toward the remnant of his children which he shall leave:

⁵⁴“तुमच्यामधील अत्यंत संवेदनशील आणि हळव्या मनाचा माणूससुध्दा क्रूर बनेल, मग इतरांची काय कथा! क्रौर्याने त्याची नजर इतरांकडे वळेल. आपली प्रिय पत्नी, अजून जिवंत असलेली मुले ही त्यातून सुटणार नाहीत.

⁵⁵So that he will not give to any of them of the flesh of his children whom he shall eat: because he hath nothing left him in the siege, and in the straitness, wherewith thine enemies shall distress thee in all thy gates.

⁵⁵खायला काहीच शिल्लक उरणार नाही तेव्हा तो आपल्या मुलांचाच घास करेल. आणि त्या मांसात तो कोणालाही-अगदी आपल्या घरातल्यांनाही-वाटेकरी होऊ देणार नाही. शत्रूच्या वेढ्यामुळे आणि छळामुळे असे विपरीत घडेल.

⁵⁶The tender and delicate woman among you, which would not adventure to set the sole of her foot upon the ground for delicateness and tenderness, her eye shall be evil toward the husband of her bosom, and toward her son, and toward her daughter,

⁵⁶“तुमच्यामधील अतिशय कोमल ह्दयाची आणि नाजूक बाईसुद्धा क्रूर बनेल. नाजुकपणाची कमाल म्हणजे आजतागायत तिने चालायला जमिनीवर पावलेही टेकवली नसतील. पण आता आपला प्राणप्रिय पती, आपली लाडकी मुले यांच्याबद्दलही ती निष्ठुर होईल.

⁵⁷And toward her young one that cometh out from between her feet, and toward her children which she shall bear: for she shall eat them for want of all things secretly in the siege and straitness, wherewith thine enemy shall distress thee in thy gates.

⁵⁷पण लपूनछपून मुलाला जन्म देऊन ते नवजात बालक व प्रसूतिसमयी बाहेर पडणारे सर्व काही ती भुकेने व्याकुळ झाल्यामुळे खाऊन टाकील. जेव्हा तुमचा शत्रू तुमच्या शहरांना वेढा घालील आणि यातना सहन करायला लावील, त्यावेळी वरील सर्व वाईट गोष्टी घडून येतील.

⁵⁸If thou wilt not observe to do all the words of this law that are written in this book, that thou mayest fear this glorious and fearful name, THE LORD THY GOD;

⁵⁸“या ग्रंथातील सर्व शिकवण व आज्ञा तुम्ही पाळा. प्रतापी आणि विस्मयकारी तुमचा देव परमेश्वर ह्याचा आदर करा. याप्रमाणे आचरण ठेवले नाहीत तर

⁵⁹Then the LORD will make thy plagues wonderful, and the plagues of thy seed, even great plagues, and of long continuance, and sore sicknesses, and of long continuance.

⁵⁹तुमच्यावर व तुमच्या वंशजांवर संकटे कोसळतील, भयंकर रोगराई पसरेल.

⁶⁰Moreover he will bring upon thee all the diseases of Egypt, which thou wast afraid of; and they shall cleave unto thee.

⁶⁰अशा रोगराईला आणि उपद्रावांना तुम्ही मिसरमध्ये तोंड दिलेले आहे. त्यांची तुम्हाला धास्ती वाटत असे. त्या सगळ्यातून तुम्हाला पुन्हा जावे लागेल.

⁶¹Also every sickness, and every plague, which is not written in the book of this law, them will the LORD bring upon thee, until thou be destroyed.

⁶¹या ग्रंथात नसलेले उपद्रव आणि रोगसुद्धा परमेश्वर तुमच्या मागे लावील. तुमचा समूळ नाश होईपर्यंत तो हे करील.

⁶²And ye shall be left few in number, whereas ye were as the stars of heaven for multitude; because thou wouldest not obey the voice of the LORD thy God.

⁶²आकाशातील ताऱ्यांइतके तुम्ही संख्येने विपुल असलात तरी तुमचा देव परमेश्वर ह्याचे न ऐकल्यामुळे त्यापैकी फारच थोडे शिल्लक राहाल.

⁶³And it shall come to pass, that as the LORD rejoiced over you to do you good, and to multiply you; so the LORD will rejoice over you to destroy you, and to bring you to nought; and ye shall be plucked from off the land whither thou goest to possess it.

⁶³“तुमची भरभराट करायला आणि तुमची संरव्या वाढवायला जसा त्याला आनंद वाटत होता तसाच आनंद त्याला तुमचा नाश करायला आणि तुम्हांला रसानळाला न्यायला वाटेल. तुम्ही जो देश काबीज करायला जात आहात तेथून तुम्हाला हुसकावून लावले जाईल.

⁶⁴And the LORD shall scatter thee among all people, from the one end of the earth even unto the other; and there thou shalt serve other gods, which neither thou nor thy fathers have known, even wood and stone.

⁶⁴परमेश्वर तुम्हाला पृथ्वीच्या या टोकापासून त्या टोकापर्यंत सर्व लोकांमध्ये विखरुन टाकील. तेथे तुम्ही काष्ठपाषाणाच्या मूर्तीची उपासना कराल. तुम्हाला आणि तुमच्या पूर्वजांना माहीत नसलेल्या खोट्यानाट्या देवांची उपासना कराल.

⁶⁵And among these nations shalt thou find no ease, neither shall the sole of thy foot have rest: but the LORD shall give thee there a trembling heart, and failing of eyes, and sorrow of mind:

⁶⁵“या इतर राष्ट्रांमध्ये तुम्हाला शांती लाभणार नाही. परमेश्वर तुमचे मन काळजीने पोखरुन टाकील. तुमचे डोळे शीणतील तुम्ही बेचैन व्हाल.

⁶⁶And thy life shall hang in doubt before thee; and thou shalt fear day and night, and shalt have none assurance of thy life:

⁶⁶तुम्ही नेहमी संकटग्रस्त आणि धास्तावलेले राहाल. तुम्हाला जिवाची खात्री वाटणार नाही. रात्रंदिवस तुम्ही झुरणीला लागाल.

⁶⁷In the morning thou shalt say, Would God it were even! and at even thou shalt say, Would God it were morning! for the fear of thine heart wherewith thou shalt fear, and for the sight of thine eyes which thou shalt see.

⁶⁷सकाळी तुम्ही म्हणाल, ‘ही रात्र असती तर बरे! आणि रात्री म्हणाल, ‘ही सकाळ असती तर किती बरे!’ तुमच्या मनातील भीती आणि डोळ्यांना दिसणाऱ्या गोष्टी यामुळे असे होईल.

⁶⁸And the LORD shall bring thee into Egypt again with ships, by the way whereof I spake unto thee, Thou shalt see it no more again: and there ye shall be sold unto your enemies for bondmen and bondwomen, and no man shall buy you.

⁶⁸परमेश्वर तुम्हाला जहाजातून पुन्हा मिसरला पाठवील. जेथे तुम्हाला पुन्हा कधी परतून जावे लागणार नाही असे मी म्हणालो होतो तेथे परमेश्वर तुमची रवानगी करील. मिसरमध्ये तुम्ही शत्रूंचे दास म्हणून स्वत:ची विक्री करु बघाल पण कोणीही तुम्हाला विकत घेणार नाही.
