¹The word of the LORD came again unto me, saying,

¹मला परमेश्वराचा संदेश मिळाला, तो म्हणाला,

²Son of man, set thy face against the Ammonites, and prophesy against them;

²“मानवपुत्रा, अम्मोनच्या लोकांकडे पाहा आणि माझ्यावतीने त्यांच्याशी बोल.

³And say unto the Ammonites, Hear the word of the Lord GOD; Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thou saidst, Aha, against my sanctuary, when it was profaned; and against the land of Israel, when it was desolate; and against the house of Judah, when they went into captivity;

³त्यांना सांग, ‘माझ्या परमेश्वर प्रभुचा संदेश ऐका. परमेश्वर, माझा प्रभू, असे म्हणतो की माझ्या पवित्र स्थानाचा नाश झाला, तेव्हा तुम्हाला खूप आनंद झाला. इस्राएलची भूमी उद्ध्वस्त करण्यात आली, तेव्हा तुम्ही इस्राएलच्या भूमीच्या विरुद्ध होता. यहूदी लोकांना कैदी म्हणून नेण्यात आले, तेव्हा तुम्ही यहूदी लोकांच्याविरुध्द होता.

⁴Behold, therefore I will deliver thee to the men of the east for a possession, and they shall set their palaces in thee, and make their dwellings in thee: they shall eat thy fruit, and they shall drink thy milk.

⁴म्हणून मी तुम्हाला पूर्वेकडच्या लोकांच्या ताब्यात देईन. ते तुमची जमीन घेतील. तुमच्या देशात त्यांचे सैन्य तळ ठोकेल. ते तुमच्यामध्ये राहतील. ते तुमचे अन्न व दूध भक्षण करतील.

⁵And I will make Rabbah a stable for camels, and the Ammonites a couching place for flocks: and ye shall know that I am the LORD.

⁵“मी राब्बा शहराचे उंटासाठी कुरण करीन व अम्मोन देशाला मेंढ्यांचा कोंडवाडा करीन. मगच तुम्हाला समजेल की मीच देव आहे.

⁶For thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thou hast clapped thine hands, and stamped with the feet, and rejoiced in heart with all thy despite against the land of Israel;

⁶परमेश्वर असे म्हणतो, की यरुशलेमचा नाश झाला म्हणून तुम्हाला आनंद झाला. तुम्ही टाळ्या पिटल्यात व थै थै नाचलात. इस्राएलच्या अपमानाची तुम्हाला मजा वाटली.

⁷Behold, therefore I will stretch out mine hand upon thee, and will deliver thee for a spoil to the heathen; and I will cut thee off from the people, and I will cause thee to perish out of the countries: I will destroy thee; and thou shalt know that I am the LORD.

⁷म्हणून मी तुम्हाला शिक्षा करीन. सैनिकांनी युद्धात लुटलेल्या अमूल्य वस्तूंप्रमाणे तुम्ही व्हाल. तुम्ही तुमचा वारस गमवाल. तुम्ही दूरदेशी मराल. मी तुमच्या देशाचा नाश करीन. मगच तुम्हाला मीच परमेश्वर आहे.! हे समजून येईल.”

⁸Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because that Moab and Seir do say, Behold, the house of Judah is like unto all the heathen;

⁸परमेश्वर, माझा प्रभू पुढीलप्रमाणे गोष्टी सांगतो: “मवाब व सेईर (अदोम) म्हणतात ‘यहूदा इतर राष्ट्रांप्रमाणेच आहे.’

⁹Therefore, behold, I will open the side of Moab from the cities, from his cities which are on his frontiers, the glory of the country, Bethjeshimoth, Baalmeon, and Kiriathaim,

⁹मी मवाबचा खांदा कापीन. देशाला भूषणावह असलेली बेथ-यशिमोथ, बाल-मौन, किर्याथाईम ही सीमेवरची शहरे मी काढून घेईन.

¹⁰Unto the men of the east with the Ammonites, and will give them in possession, that the Ammonites may not be remembered among the nations.

¹⁰मग ही शहरे मी पूर्वेच्या लोकांना देईन. त्यांना तुमची भूमी मिळेल. मी त्यांना अम्मोनच्या लोकांचा नाश करु देईल. अम्मोन हे एक राष्ट्र होते, ह्याचा लोकांना विसर पडेल.

¹¹And I will execute judgments upon Moab; and they shall know that I am the LORD.

¹¹मी मवाबला शिक्षा करीन. मग त्यांना मीच परमेश्वर आहे. हे कळेल.”

¹²Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because that Edom hath dealt against the house of Judah by taking vengeance, and hath greatly offended, and revenged himself upon them;

¹²परमेश्वर, माझा प्रभू, पुढील गोष्टी सांगतो: “अदोमचे लोक यहूदाच्या लोकांच्याविरुद्ध गेले आणि त्यांनी त्यांचा सूड घेण्याचा प्रयत्न केला. म्हणून अदोमचे लोक अपराधी आहेत.”

¹³Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; I will also stretch out mine hand upon Edom, and will cut off man and beast from it; and I will make it desolate from Teman; and they of Dedan shall fall by the sword.

¹³म्हणून, परमेश्वर, माझा प्रभू, म्हणतो: “मी अदोमला शिक्षा करीन. मी अदोमवासीयांचा व तेथील प्राण्यांचा नाश करीन. तेमानापासून ददानापर्यंत सर्व अदोम देशाचा मी नाश करीन. अदोमची माणसे लढाईत मारली जातील.

¹⁴And I will lay my vengeance upon Edom by the hand of my people Israel: and they shall do in Edom according to mine anger and according to my fury; and they shall know my vengeance, saith the Lord GOD.

¹⁴मी माझ्या लोकांच्या, इस्राएलच्या हातून, अदोमचा सूड उगवीन. अशा रीतीने, माझा अदोमवरचा राग इस्राएलचे लोक दाखवून देतील. मग मी अदोमला शिक्षा केल्याचे अदोमच्या लोकांना कळेल.” परमेश्वर, माझा प्रभू, असे म्हणाला.

¹⁵Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because the Philistines have dealt by revenge, and have taken vengeance with a despiteful heart, to destroy it for the old hatred;

¹⁵परमेश्वर, माझा प्रभू, पुढील गोष्टी सांगतो: “पलिष्ट्यांनी सूड घ्यायचा प्रयत्न केला. ते फार क्रूर होते. त्यांनी आपला राग खूप काळ मनात दाबून धरला.”

¹⁶Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will stretch out mine hand upon the Philistines, and I will cut off the Cherethims, and destroy the remnant of the sea coast.

¹⁶म्हणून, परमेश्वर, माझा प्रभू, म्हणाला, “मी पलिष्ट्यांना शिक्षा करीन. हो! करथच्या लोकांचा मी नाश करीन. समुद्राकाठी राहणाऱ्या लोकांचा मी संपूर्ण नाश करीन.

¹⁷And I will execute great vengeance upon them with furious rebukes; and they shall know that I am the LORD, when I shall lay my vengeance upon them.

¹⁷मी त्या लोकांना शिक्षा करीन. मी सूड घेईन. माझ्या रागाने मी त्यांना धडा शिकवीन. मग त्यांना ‘मीच परमेश्वर असल्याचे कळेल.”
