¹The word of the LORD came unto me again, saying,

¹တဖန်ထာဝရဘုရား၏ နှုတ်ကပတ်တော်သည် ငါ့ဆီသို့ရောက်လာ၍၊

²What mean ye, that ye use this proverb concerning the land of Israel, saying, The fathers have eaten sour grapes, and the children's teeth are set on edge?

²အဘတို့သည် ချဉ်သောစပျစ်သီးကို စား၍ သားတို့သည် သွားကျိန်းလျက်ရှိကြ၏ဟု၊ သင်တို့သည် ဣသရေလပြည်ကိုရည်မှတ်၍ စကားပုံကို သုံးသောအခါ အဘယ်သို့ဆိုလိုသနည်း။

³As I live, saith the Lord GOD, ye shall not have occasion any more to use this proverb in Israel.

³အရှင်ထာဝရဘုရားမိန့်တော်မူသည်ကား၊ ငါ အသက်ရှင်သည်အတိုင်း နောက်တဖန် ဣသရေလပြည် ၌ ထိုစကားပုံကိုသုံးရသော အကြောင်းမရှိရ။

⁴Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine: the soul that sinneth, it shall die.

⁴ဝိညာဉ်အပေါင်းတို့ကို ငါပိုင်၏။ အဘ၏ဝိညာဉ် ကို ငါပိုင်သကဲ့ သို့သား၏ဝိညာဉ်ကိုလည်း ငါပိုင်၏။ ပြစ်မှားသော ဝိညာဉ်သည် အသက်သေရမည်။

⁵But if a man be just, and do that which is lawful and right,

⁵လူမည်သည်ကား၊ သဘောဖြောင့်၍ တရား သောအမှု၊ ဟုတ်မှန်သော အမှုကိုပြုလျှင်၎င်း၊

⁶And hath not eaten upon the mountains, neither hath lifted up his eyes to the idols of the house of Israel, neither hath defiled his neighbour's wife, neither hath come near to a menstruous woman,

⁶တောင်ပေါ်မှာမစား၊ ဣသရေလအမျိုး ကိုးကွယ်သော ရုပ်တုတို့ကို မဖူးမမျှော်၊ သူ့မယားကို မပြစ်မှား၊ ဥတုရောက်သော မိန်းမကို မချဉ်းကပ်၊

⁷And hath not oppressed any, but hath restored to the debtor his pledge, hath spoiled none by violence, hath given his bread to the hungry, and hath covered the naked with a garment;

⁷အဘယ်သူကိုမျှ မညှဉ်းဆဲ၊ ကြွေးစားပေါင်ထား သော ဥစ္စာကို ပြန်၍မပေးဘဲမနေ၊ သူ့ဥစ္စာကို အနိုင် အထက်မလုမယူ၊ ငတ်မွတ်သောသူကို ကျွေးမွေး၍၊ အဝတ်မရှိသောသူကို အဝတ်နှင့်ဖုံးလွှမ်းလျှင်၎င်း၊

⁸He that hath not given forth upon usury, neither hath taken any increase, that hath withdrawn his hand from iniquity, hath executed true judgment between man and man,

⁸အတိုးစား၍ ငွေကိုမချေး၊ အဓမ္မအမှုကို လက်မခံ၊ သူတပါးအမှုကို တရားသဖြင့် စီရင်ခြင်း၊

⁹Hath walked in my statutes, and hath kept my judgments, to deal truly; he is just, he shall surely live, saith the Lord GOD.

⁹ငါစီရင်ထုံးဖွဲ့သည် အတိုင်းကျင့်၍ သစ္စာ စောင့်ခြင်းကိုပြုလျှင်၎င်း၊ ထိုသူသည် ဖြောင့်မတ်သော သူဖြစ်၏။ အကယ်စင်စစ် အသက်ရှင်ရလိမ့်မည်ဟု အရှင်ထာဝရဘုရားမိန့်တော်မူ၏။

¹⁰If he beget a son that is a robber, a shedder of blood, and that doeth the like to any one of these things,

¹⁰သို့ရာတွင်၊ ထိုသူ၏သားသည် ထားပြတိုက် သောသူ၊ လူအသက်ကိုသတ်သောသူ၊ အရင်ဆိုခဲ့ပြီးသော ဒုစရိုက်တစုံတခုကို ပြုသောသူ၊

¹¹And that doeth not any of those duties, but even hath eaten upon the mountains, and defiled his neighbour's wife,

¹¹အရင်ဆိုခဲ့ပြီးသော သုစရိုက်ကိုမပြု၊ တောင် ပေါ်မှာစားခြင်း၊ သူ့မယားကိုပြစ်မှားခြင်း၊

¹²Hath oppressed the poor and needy, hath spoiled by violence, hath not restored the pledge, and hath lifted up his eyes to the idols, hath committed abomination,

¹²ဆင်းရဲငတ်မွတ်သော သူကို ညှဉ်းဆဲခြင်း၊ သူ့ဥစ္စာကို အနိုင်အထက်လုယူခြင်း၊ ပေါင်ထားသော ဥစ္စာကို ပြန်၍မပေးဘဲနေခြင်း၊ ရုပ်တုကို ဖူးမျှော်ခြင်း၊ ရွံ့ရှာဘွယ်သော အမှုကိုပြုခြင်း၊

¹³Hath given forth upon usury, and hath taken increase: shall he then live? he shall not live: he hath done all these abominations; he shall surely die; his blood shall be upon him.

¹³အတိုးစား၍ငွေချေးခြင်းကိုပြုသော သူဖြစ်လျှင်၊ အသက်ရှင်ရမည်လော။ အသက်မရှင်ရ။ ထိုရွံ့ရှာဘွယ် သော အမှုများကိုပြုသောကြောင့်၊ စင်စစ်အသေသတ် ခြင်းကို ခံရမည်။ သေထိုက်သောအပြစ်ရှိ၏။

¹⁴Now, lo, if he beget a son, that seeth all his father's sins which he hath done, and considereth, and doeth not such like,

¹⁴သို့ရာတွင်၊ ထိုသူ၏သားသည် အဘပြုသမျှ သော ဒုစရိုက်တို့ကို မြင်၍ဆင်ခြင်သဖြင့်၊ ထိုသို့သော အမှုတို့ကိုမပြု၊

¹⁵That hath not eaten upon the mountains, neither hath lifted up his eyes to the idols of the house of Israel, hath not defiled his neighbour's wife,

¹⁵တောင်ပေါ်မှာမစား၊ ဣသရေလအမျိုးကိုးကွယ် သော ရုပ်တုတို့ကို မဖူးမမျှော်၊ သူ့မယားကိုမပြစ်မှား၊

¹⁶Neither hath oppressed any, hath not withholden the pledge, neither hath spoiled by violence, but hath given his bread to the hungry, and hath covered the naked with a garment,

¹⁶အဘယ်သူကိုမျှ မညှဉ်းဆဲ၊ ပေါင်ထားသော ဥစ္စာကိုမသိမ်း၊ သူ့ဥစ္စာကို အနိုင်အထက်မလုမယူ၊ ငတ်မွတ်သောသူကို ကျွေးမွေးခြင်း၊ အဝတ်မရှိသော သူကိုအဝတ်နှင့်ဖုံးလွှမ်းခြင်း၊

¹⁷That hath taken off his hand from the poor, that hath not received usury nor increase, hath executed my judgments, hath walked in my statutes; he shall not die for the iniquity of his father, he shall surely live.

¹⁷ဆင်းရဲသော သူကိုချမ်းသာပေးခြင်း၊ အတိုး မစားဘဲငွေချေးခြင်းကို ပြု၍ငါစီရင်ထုံးဖွဲ့ချက်တို့ကို စောင့်ရှောက်လျှင်၊ ထိုသူသည်အဘ၏ အပြစ်ကြောင့် အသေခံရမည်မဟုတ်။ စင်စစ်အသက်ရှင်ရလိမ့်မည်။

¹⁸As for his father, because he cruelly oppressed, spoiled his brother by violence, and did that which is not good among his people, lo, even he shall die in his iniquity.

¹⁸အဘမူကား၊ မိမိညီအစ်ကိုကိုအထပ်ထပ် ညှဉ်းဆဲလျက်၊ သူ့ဥစ္စာကို အနိုင်အထက်လုယူလျက်၊ မိမိအမျိုးသားချင်းတိုပတွင် မကောင်းသော အမှုကို ပြုသော အပြစ်ကြောင့်၊ အသေသတ်ခြင်းကို ခံရမည်။

¹⁹Yet say ye, Why? doth not the son bear the iniquity of the father? When the son hath done that which is lawful and right, and hath kept all my statutes, and hath done them, he shall surely live.

¹⁹သင်တို့ကလည်း၊ အဘယ်သို့နည်း။ သားသည် အဘ၏ အပြစ်ကို မခံရသလောဟု မေးကြသော်၊ သား သည် တရားသောအမှု၊ ဟုတ်မှန်သောအမှုကိုပြု၍၊ ငါစီရင်ထုံးဖွဲ့သမျှအတိုင်း ကျင့်စောင့်လျှင်၊ စင်စစ် အသက်ရှင်ရလိမ့်မည်။

²⁰The soul that sinneth, it shall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son: the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him.

²⁰ပြစ်မှားသောသူသည် အသေခံရမည်။ သား သည် အဘ၏အပြစ်ကိုမခံရ။ အဘသည် သား၏အပြစ် ကို မခံရ။ တရားသောသူသည် တရားစွာပြုခြင်းအကျိုး ကို၎င်း၊ မတရားသောသူသည် မတရားစွာပြုခြင်း အပြစ်ကို၎င်း ခံရလိမ့်မည်။

²¹But if the wicked will turn from all his sins that he hath committed, and keep all my statutes, and do that which is lawful and right, he shall surely live, he shall not die.

²¹သို့ရာတွင်၊ မတရားသောသူသည် မိမိပြုမိသမျှ သော ဒုစရိုက်တို့ကို ကြဉ်ရှောင်လျက်၊ ငါစီရင်ထုံးဖွဲ့သမျှ တို့ကို စောင့်ရှောက်၍၊ တရားသောအမှု၊ ဟုတ်မှန်သော အမှုတို့ကိုပြုလျှင်၊ သေခြင်းနှင့်လွတ်၍ စင်စစ်အသက် ရှင်ရလိမ့်မည်။

²²All his transgressions that he hath committed, they shall not be mentioned unto him: in his righteousness that he hath done he shall live.

²²ပြုမိသမျှသော ဒုစရိုက်အပြစ်တို့ကို သူတဘက် ၌ မမှတ်ရ။ ပြုမိသောဖြောင့်မတ်ခြင်းအမှုကြောင့် အသက် ရှင်ရလိမ့်မည်။

²³Have I any pleasure at all that the wicked should die? saith the Lord GOD: and not that he should return from his ways, and live?

²³မတရားသောသူသည်မိမိအကျင့် တို့ကိုရှောင်၍ အသက်မရှင်၊ အသေခံခြင်းအမှု၌ ငါသည်အနည်းငယ် သော ပျော်မွေ့ခြင်းရှိသလော။

²⁴But when the righteous turneth away from his righteousness, and committeth iniquity, and doeth according to all the abominations that the wicked man doeth, shall he live? All his righteousness that he hath done shall not be mentioned: in his trespass that he hath trespassed, and in his sin that he hath sinned, in them shall he die.

²⁴သို့ရာတွင်။ တရားသောသူသည်ဖောက်ပြန်၍၊ အဓမ္မအမှုကို၎င်း၊ မတရားသောသူပြုသမျှသော စက်ဆုပ် ရွံ့ရှာဘွယ် အမှုတို့ကို၎င်းပြုလျှင်၊ အသက်ရှင်ရမည် လော။ အရင်ပြုသမျှသော ဖြောင့်မတ်ခြင်းအမှုတို့ကို မမှတ်၊ သူသည် လွန်ကျူးသောအမှု၊ ပြစ်မှားသော အပြစ်ကြောင့် အသေသတ်ခြင်းကို ခံရလိမ့်မည်။

²⁵Yet ye say, The way of the LORD is not equal. Hear now, O house of Israel; Is not my way equal? are not your ways unequal?

²⁵သို့သော်လည်း သင်တို့က၊ ထာဝရဘုရား စီရင်ချက်မဖြောင့်ဟု ဆိုကြသည်တကား။ အိုဣသရေလ အမျိုး၊ ငါစီရင်ချက်သည် ဖြောင့်၍၊ သင်တို့ စီရင်ချက် ကောက်သည် မဟုတ်လော။

²⁶When a righteous man turneth away from his righteousness, and committeth iniquity, and dieth in them; for his iniquity that he hath done shall he die.

²⁶တရားသောသူသည် တရားသောအမှုကိုပယ်၍ အဓမ္မအမှုကို ပြုလျှင်၊ ထိုအမှုကြောင့် သေရမည်။ ပြုမိသော အဓမ္မအမှုကြောင့် အသေသတ်ခြင်းကို ခံရမည်။

²⁷Again, when the wicked man turneth away from his wickedness that he hath committed, and doeth that which is lawful and right, he shall save his soul alive.

²⁷ထိုအတူ၊ မတရားသောသူသည် မိမိပြုမိသော အဓမ္မအမှုကို ရှောင်၍၊ တရားသောအမှု၊ ဟုတ်မှန်သော အမှုကိုပြုလျှင်၊ မိမိအသက်ကို ကယ်နှုတ်ရလိမ့်မည်။

²⁸Because he considereth, and turneth away from all his transgressions that he hath committed, he shall surely live, he shall not die.

²⁸ပြုမိသမျှသော အဓမ္မအမှုတို့ကို ဆင်ခြင်၍ ရှောင်သောကြောင့်၊ သေခြင်းနှင့်လွတ်၍ စင်စစ်အသက် ရှင်ရလိမ့်မည်။

²⁹Yet saith the house of Israel, The way of the LORD is not equal. O house of Israel, are not my ways equal? are not your ways unequal?

²⁹သို့သော်လည်း ဣသရေလအမျိုးက၊ ထာဝရ ဘုရားစီရင်ချက်မဖြောင့်ဟု ဆိုကြသည်တကား။ အိုဣသ ရေလအမျိုး၊ ငါစီရင်ချက်သည် ဖြောင့်၍၊ သင်တို့ စီရင်ချက်ကောက်သည် မဟုတ်လော။

³⁰Therefore I will judge you, O house of Israel, every one according to his ways, saith the Lord GOD. Repent, and turn yourselves from all your transgressions; so iniquity shall not be your ruin.

³⁰သို့ဖြစ်၍၊ အိုဣသရေလအမျိုး၊ သင်တို့ အသီး အသီးကျင့်ကြသည်အတိုင်း အကျိုးအပြစ်ကိုငါစီရင်မည်။ သင်တို့သည် အဓမ္မအမှုရှိသမျှတို့ကို စွန့်ပစ်၍ ပြောင်းလဲ ကြလော့။ ပြောင်းလဲကြလော့။ ဒုစရိုက်အပြစ်ကြောင့် ထိမိ၍ ဆုံးခြင်းသို့မရောက်ကြနှင့်။

³¹Cast away from you all your transgressions, whereby ye have transgressed; and make you a new heart and a new spirit: for why will ye die, O house of Israel?

³¹သင်တို့သည် ပြုသမျှသော လွန်ကျူးခြင်းအမှု တို့ကို စွန့်ပစ်၍ အသစ်သောနှလုံး၊ အသစ်သော စိတ် သဘောကို ပြင်ဆင်ကြလော့။ အိုဣသရေလအမျိုး၊ သင်တို့သည် အဘယ်ကြောင့် အသေသတ်ခြင်းကို ခံလို သနည်း။

³²For I have no pleasure in the death of him that dieth, saith the Lord GOD: wherefore turn yourselves, and live ye.

³²အသေခံရသော သူ၏ အသေခံခြင်းအမှု၌ ငါသည် ပျော်မွေ့ခြင်းမရှိ။ ထိုကြောင့်၊ပြောင်းလဲ၍ အသက်ရှင်ကြလော့ဟု အရှင်ထာဝရဘုရား မိန့်တော် မူ၏။
