¹When Israel went out of Egypt, the house of Jacob from a people of strange language;

¹ဣသရေလအမျိုး၊ ယာကုပ်အနွှယ်သည် ရိုင်း သောလူမျိုးနေရာ အဲဂုတ္တုပြည်က ထွက်သွားသောအခါ၊

²Judah was his sanctuary, and Israel his dominion.

²ယုဒအမျိုးသည် သန့်ရှင်းရာဌာနတော်ဖြစ်၏။ ဣသရေလအမျိုးသည် နိုင်ငံတော်ဖြစ်၏။

³The sea saw it, and fled: Jordan was driven back.

³ပင်လယ်သည် မြင်၍ပြေးလေ၏။ ယော်ဒန်မြစ် လည်း နောက်သို့ လှည့်လေ၏။

⁴The mountains skipped like rams, and the little hills like lambs.

⁴တောင်ကြီးတို့သည် သိုးကဲ့သို့၎င်း၊ တောင်ငယ်တို့သည် သိုးသငယ်ကဲ့သို့၎င်း ခုန်ကြ၏။

⁵What ailed thee, O thou sea, that thou fleddest? thou Jordan, that thou wast driven back?

⁵အချင်းပင်လယ်၊ သင်ပြေးသည် အ ကြောင်း၊ အချင်းယော်ဒန်မြစ်၊ သင်သည် နောက်သို့လှည့် သည်အကြောင်း၊

⁶Ye mountains, that ye skipped like rams; and ye little hills, like lambs?

⁶အချင်းတောင်ကြီးတို့၊ သင်တို့သည် သိုးကဲ့သို့ ခုန်ကြသည်အကြောင်း၊ အချင်းတောင်ငယ်တို့၊ သင်တို့ သည် သိုးသငယ်ကဲ့သို့ ခုန်ကြသည် အကြောင်းကား အဘယ်သို့နည်း။

⁷Tremble, thou earth, at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the God of Jacob;

⁷အိုမြေကြီး၊ အရှင်၏မျက်နှာတော်ရှေ့၊ ယာကုပ် အမျိုးကိုးကွယ်သော ဘုရားသခင်၏ မျက်နှာတော်ရှေ့မှာ တုန်လှုပ်လျက်နေလော့။

⁸Which turned the rock into a standing water, the flint into a fountain of waters.

⁸ဘုရားသခင်သည် ကျောက်ကို ရေကန်၊ မီးကျောက်ကို စမ်းရေတွင်းဖြစ်စေတော်မူသတည်း။
