¹And if his oblation be a sacrifice of peace offering, if he offer it of the herd; whether it be a male or female, he shall offer it without blemish before the LORD.

¹Dersom nogen vil bære frem et takkoffer, og han tar det av storfeet, så skal det offerdyr han fører frem for Herrens åsyn, enten det er han eller hun, være uten lyte.

²And he shall lay his hand upon the head of his offering, and kill it at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation: and Aaron's sons the priests shall sprinkle the blood upon the altar round about.

²Han skal legge sin hånd på offerdyrets hode og slakte det ved inngangen til sammenkomstens telt; og Arons sønner, prestene, skal sprenge blodet rundt om på alteret.

³And he shall offer of the sacrifice of the peace offering an offering made by fire unto the LORD; the fat that covereth the inwards, and all the fat that is upon the inwards,

³Så skal han av takkofferet ofre et ildoffer til Herren, og det skal være fettet som dekker innvollene, og alt det fett som er på innvollene,

⁴And the two kidneys, and the fat that is on them, which is by the flanks, and the caul above the liver, with the kidneys, it shall he take away.

⁴og begge nyrene med det fett som er på dem, ved lendene, og den store leverlapp; den skal han ta ut sammen med nyrene.

⁵And Aaron's sons shall burn it on the altar upon the burnt sacrifice, which is upon the wood that is on the fire: it is an offering made by fire, of a sweet savor unto the LORD.

⁵Og Arons sønner skal brenne det på alteret sammen med brennofferet som ligger over veden på ilden; det er et ildoffer til velbehagelig duft for Herren.

⁶And if his offering for a sacrifice of peace offering unto the LORD be of the flock; male or female, he shall offer it without blemish.

⁶Dersom han vil bære frem for Herren et takkoffer av småfeet, så skal han ofre en han eller hun uten lyte.

⁷If he offer a lamb for his offering, then shall he offer it before the LORD.

⁷Er det et får han vil ofre, så skal han føre det frem for Herrens åsyn

⁸And he shall lay his hand upon the head of his offering, and kill it before the tabernacle of the congregation: and Aaron's sons shall sprinkle the blood thereof round about upon the altar.

⁸og legge sin hånd på offerdyrets hode og slakte det foran sammenkomstens telt; og Arons sønner skal sprenge blodet rundt om på alteret.

⁹And he shall offer of the sacrifice of the peace offering an offering made by fire unto the LORD; the fat thereof, and the whole rump, it shall he take off hard by the backbone; and the fat that covereth the inwards, and all the fat that is upon the inwards,

⁹Så skal han av takkofferet bære frem et ildoffer for Herren, og det skal være fettet: hele halen - den skal han skjære av like ved ryggbenet - og fettet som dekker innvollene, og alt det fett som er på innvollene,

¹²And if his offering be a goat, then he shall offer it before the LORD.

¹²Er det en gjet han vil ofre, så skal han føre den frem for Herrens åsyn

¹⁴And he shall offer thereof his offering, even an offering made by fire unto the LORD; the fat that covereth the inwards, and all the fat that is upon the inwards,

¹⁴Så skal han av sitt offer bære frem et ildoffer for Herren, og det skal være fettet som dekker innvollene, og alt det fett som er på innvollene,

¹⁵And the two kidneys, and the fat that is upon them, which is by the flanks, and the caul above the liver, with the kidneys, it shall he take away.

¹⁶And the priest shall burn them upon the altar: it is the food of the offering made by fire for a sweet savor: all the fat is the LORD's.

¹⁶Og presten skal brenne det på alteret; det er et ildoffermåltid til velbehagelig duft. Alt fett hører Herren til.

¹⁷It shall be a perpetual statute for your generations throughout all your dwellings, that ye eat neither fat nor blood.

¹⁷Det skal være en evig lov for eder, fra slekt til slekt, hvor I så bor. Intet fett og intet blod skal I ete.
