1 Timothy

6

1Let as many servants as are under the yoke count their own masters worthy of all honour, that the name of God and his doctrine be not blasphemed.
1Parthian min leh a thuhilhna thu gensiata om louhna ding in sikha hakkol bat peuhnaten amau pute bangkima hihthupi tuak in sim uhen.
2And they that have believing masters, let them not despise them, because they are brethren; but rather do them service, because they are faithful and beloved, partakers of the benefit. These things teach and exhort.
2Huan gingta mi pu a neiten unau ahih ziakun, ngaineu kei uhen, a hihhangin, phattuamna mute leh deih takte a hih ziak un a na uh sepsak semsem uhen. Huai thute hilh inla, hasuan in.
3If any man teach otherwise, and consent not to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness;
3Mi kuapeuh in thuhilhna dang ahilha, thutak (I Toupa Jesu Kris thu) leh, Pathian limsak lam thuhilhna hoih asak kei leh,
4He is proud, knowing nothing, but doting about questions and strifes of words, whereof cometh envy, strife, railings, evil surmisings,
4amah a kisathei ahi, bangmah theilou ahi, theihnaksang in kisel leh thukalh lamah a hai zawta a, huchibang a kipanin, ennate, kilainate, gensiatnate,
5Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself.
5hoihlou lama ginnate, selhat nate asuak nak hi; huchibang selhat mite tuh lungsimse nei leh thutak neilou mi, Pathian limsak pen punna khattou sa mi ahi uh.
6But godliness with contentment is great gain.
6Lungkimna toh kithuah Pathian limsakna tuh punna thupi tak ahi.
7For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out.
7Khovel ah bangmah I lut pih keia, bangmah I pawtpih thei sam kei ding hi.
8And having food and raiment let us be therewith content.
8Himahleh, nekding leh silh ding nei in, huaikhawng ah I lungkim ding uh.
9But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition.
9Ahihhangin, hauhsak tumte tuh, khemna ah te, thang ah te, haihuai leh hihsethei duhgawlna tampi bang ah a puklut nak uhi, huaiten tuh siatna leh manthatna ah mite a hih tumnak hi.
10For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.
10Dangka sum deihtak zaw gilou chiteng bul ahi ngala; huaituh khenkhatten a eng ua, ginna a pai mangsan ua, amau leh amau lungkhamna tampiin a kisunlet tektok uhi.
11But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.
11Himaleh, nang Pathian mipa aw, huai thilte taisan inla, diktatna bang, Pathian limsakna bang, ginna bang, itna bang, thuaktheihna bang, kingaihniamna bang delh zel in.
12Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.
12Ginna kidouna hoih sual inla, khantawn hinna tuh len chinten in; huai tang dinga sap na hi hi; theihpih tamtakte mitmuhin gupna hoih tuh na gumta hi.
13I give thee charge in the sight of God, who quickeneth all things, and before Christ Jesus, who before Pontius Pilate witnessed a good confession;
13Pathian, thilbangkim hihhingpa leh Khris Jesu, Pontia Pilat maa gupna hoih gumpa mitmuhin thu ka honpia hi;
14That thou keep this commandment without spot, unrebukable, until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ:
14Toupa Jesu Kris hong kilat nawn ma siah huai thupiak tuh siangthou tak leh gensiatbeia kem dingin.
15Which in his times he shall shew, who is the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings, and Lord of lords;
15Huai kilakna tuh amah hun takah phattuak Thuneipa tak kia, kumpipate Kumpipa, toupate Toupan a lak ding ahi;
16Who only hath immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto; whom no man hath seen, nor can see: to whom be honour and power everlasting. Amen.
16Amah kia in sihtheihlouhna a nei a, vak naih theih vuallouhna ah a om a, amah tuh kuamah in a mu ngeikei ua, muh leng amu thei samkei uhi; amah kiangah khantawnin thupina leh thilhihtheihna om hen. Amen.
17Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy;
17Hiai khovel a mihaute khawng kisathei lou ding leh sum muanhuailou a muanna nga loua, thil tengteng kipahna ding a tampia honpepa Pathian tunga nga zaw ding in hilh in.
18That they do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to distribute, willing to communicate;
18Thil hoih a hih ding uh, thil hoih hiha a hauh ding uh, thilphala a siam ding uh ahi;
19Laying up in store for themselves a good foundation against the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life.
19huchia amaua dinga tunung adinga suangphum hoih phuma hinna, huai hinna hi taktak tuh a let kip theihna ding un.
20O Timothy, keep that which is committed to thy trust, avoiding profane and vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called:
20Timothi aw, na kianga kepsaka om kem hoih in; Pathian zahlouhna thu gen mawkmawk leh kikalhna, dikloupia pilna kichi, nungngatsan in:huai tuh mi khenkhatin nei ki chiin ginna lam ah a paikhialta uhi. Hehpihna na kiangah om hen. Amen.
21Which some professing have erred concerning the faith. Grace be with thee. Amen.
21huai tuh mi khenkhatin nei ki chiin ginna lam ah a paikhialta uhi. Hehpihna na kiangah om hen. Amen.
