¹The word of the LORD came also unto me, saying,

¹TOUPA Thu ka kiangah a hongtunga:

²Thou shalt not take thee a wife, neither shalt thou have sons or daughters in this place.

²Ji na nei ding ahi keia, hiai mun ah tanu tapate leng na nei ding ahi sam kei, chiin.

³For thus saith the LORD concerning the sons and concerning the daughters that are born in this place, and concerning their mothers that bare them, and concerning their fathers that begat them in this land;

³Tanu tapa hiai muna piangte leh hiai gama nu leh pa amaute suangte tungtang TOUPAN hichiin a chi a:

⁴They shall die of grievous deaths; they shall not be lamented; neither shall they be buried; but they shall be as dung upon the face of the earth: and they shall be consumed by the sword, and by famine; and their carcases shall be meat for the fowls of heaven, and for the beasts of the earth.

⁴Hipiin a si ding ua, kuamah vui louh lah kuamah sun louhin a om ding uh; leitung ekvut bang lel ahi ding uh. Namsaute, kialtein a mangthang ding ua, a luangte uh tunga leng vasate leh gamsate an ahi ding.

⁵For thus saith the LORD, Enter not into the house of mourning, neither go to lament nor bemoan them: for I have taken away my peace from this people, saith the LORD, even lovingkindness and mercies.

⁵TOUPAN hichiin a chi hi: sunna in ah lut kenla, sun dingin hoh kenla, amau kah ken; hiai mite laka kipan ka lungmuanna ka hawkta ngala, chitna leh lainatnate toh, chih TOUPA thu pawt ahi.

⁶Both the great and the small shall die in this land: they shall not be buried, neither shall men lament for them, nor cut themselves, nor make themselves bald for them:

⁶Hiai gamah mi lian leh mi neute a si ding ua; vui ahi kei ding ua; kuamahin a sun kei ding ua, a ki-at un a kimet giau loh kei ding uh.

⁷Neither shall men tear themselves for them in mourning, to comfort them for the dead; neither shall men give them the cup of consolation to drink for their father or for their mother.

⁷Lusunmite a misi ngai uh lungmuan dingin kuamahin nek ding a lui kei ding ua, a nu luh hiam a pa uh hiam jiakin leng nepna nou dawn ding kuamahin a tun kei ding uhi.

⁸Thou shalt not also go into the house of feasting, to sit with them to eat and to drink.

⁸Huan, ne leh dawn dingin a lak-ua tu dingin ankuangluina in ah na lut ding ahi kei.

⁹For thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will cause to cease out of this place in your eyes, and in your days, the voice of mirth, and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom, and the voice of the bride.

⁹Sepaihte TOUPA, Israel Pathianin hichiin a chi ngala: Ngai dih ua, na mitmuh un, na damsung un mou aw te, mouneipa aw te, nuamsakna husa te, kipahna ging te hiai mun ah ka daisak ding.

¹⁰And it shall come to pass, when thou shalt shew this people all these words, and they shall say unto thee, Wherefore hath the LORD pronounced all this great evil against us? or what is our iniquity? or what is our sin that we have committed against the LORD our God?

¹⁰Hiai thu tengteng hiai mite kianga na hilh hun chiangin amau, Bangjiakin ahia TOUPAN ka tung ua hichi taka thil hoihlou a hon gen khiak? bang ahia ka thulimlouhna uh? TOUPA ka Pathian uh tunga ka thilhihkhelh bang ahia? a hon chih uleh,

¹¹Then shalt thou say unto them, Because your fathers have forsaken me, saith the LORD, and have walked after other gods, and have served them, and have worshipped them, and have forsaken me, and have not kept my law;

¹¹hichiin na chi ding hi: Na pipute un a honpaisan jiak uh ahi, pathian dangte a delh ua, a na uh a sem ua, a bia ua, a honpai san ua, ka dan a jui kei ua;

¹²And ye have done worse than your fathers; for, behold, ye walk every one after the imagination of his evil heart, that they may not hearken unto me:

¹²Huan nouten na pipute uh sanga lekluain na hih ua, ngai un, mi chihin noumau lungtang gilou paupeng na jui ua, Kei non ngaikhe kei ua;

¹³Therefore will I cast you out of this land into a land that ye know not, neither ye nor your fathers; and there shall ye serve other gods day and night; where I will not shew you favour.

¹³Huaijiakin ka gam akipan noute leh na pipute un leng na theih ngeilouh uh gamah ka hondelhkhe ding, huaiah sun leh janin pathian dangte na na sem ding ua, ka honhehpih sin ngal keia, chih TOUPA thu pawt ahi.

¹⁴Therefore, behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that it shall no more be said, The LORD liveth, that brought up the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt;

¹⁴Huchiin, ngaidih ua, nite a hongtung sin hi, TOUPA thu pawtin a chi; Israel tate Aigupta gama kipana pikhepa a hin-a a hin sung, chita louin,

¹⁵But, The LORD liveth, that brought up the children of Israel from the land of the north, and from all the lands whither he had driven them: and I will bring them again into their land that I gave unto their fathers.

¹⁵Mal lam gam leh a delh jakna gam tengteng a kipana Israel tate pikhepa TOUPA a hina a hin sung, a chi zota ding uh. A pipute uh kianga ka piak, amau gam mahmahah lah ka pi kik nawn sin ngala.

¹⁶Behold, I will send for many fishers, saith the LORD, and they shall fish them; and after will I send for many hunters, and they shall hunt them from every mountain, and from every hill, and out of the holes of the rocks.

¹⁶Ngamanmi tampi ka thukhak dinga, amau a man ding ua; huai khitin gamvakmi tampi ka thukhak dinga, tang chiteng leh mual chitenga kipan amaute a beng khe ding ua, suangpi hengkala leng.

¹⁷For mine eyes are upon all their ways: they are not hid from my face, neither is their iniquity hid from mine eyes.

¹⁷A omdan tengteng uah lah ka mit a tu nilouh ngala; keia kipan selin a om kei ua, a thulimlouhna uh leng ka mit akipan selin a om sam kei hi.

¹⁸And first I will recompense their iniquity and their sin double; because they have defiled my land, they have filled mine inheritance with the carcases of their detestable and abominable things.

¹⁸Huchiin a thil kihhuai luangte ua ka gam a hihnit u leh a kihhuaina ua ka goutan gam a dimsak jiak un a thulimlouhna uh leh a khelhna uh a zahnihin ka thuk ding, chih TOUPA thu pawt ahi.

¹⁹O LORD, my strength, and my fortress, and my refuge in the day of affliction, the Gentiles shall come unto thee from the ends of the earth, and shall say, Surely our fathers have inherited lies, vanity, and things wherein there is no profit.

¹⁹Aw TOUPA, ka hatna leh ka kulhpi, mangbat nia ka kihumbitna, kawlmong akipanin namte a hongpai ding ua, Ka pipute un juau, thil ginalou, punna nei lah hilou kia loungal bangmah gouluahin a neikei uh.

²⁰Shall a man make gods unto himself, and they are no gods?

²⁰Min pathiante a kibawlsak thei ua hia? huaite pathian ahi sam ua, a chi ding uh.Huaijiakin, ngaidih ua, tutungin amau ka theisak peuhmah ding; ka khut leh ka thilhihtheihna ka theisak ding, ka min TOUPA ahi chih a thei ding uh.

²¹Therefore, behold, I will this once cause them to know, I will cause them to know mine hand and my might; and they shall know that my name is The LORD.

²¹Huaijiakin, ngaidih ua, tutungin amau ka theisak peuhmah ding; ka khut leh ka thilhihtheihna ka theisak ding, ka min TOUPA ahi chih a thei ding uh.
